In one of the 80 00:04:44.639 --> 00:04:47.959 translations of this verse, it says, and God pays great 81 00:04:48.079 --> 00:04:51.759 interest on your loan, it's like loaning to the Lord. 82 00:04:52.000 --> 00:04:54.560 So you're not really giving that money away because God says, 83 00:04:54.600 --> 00:04:57.639 I'm going to pay you back with interest. Giving is 84 00:04:57.680 --> 00:05:02.079 an investment number seven and the promises of God about 85 00:05:02.079 --> 00:05:05.199 giving in generosity. God promises that if I learned to 86 00:05:05.199 --> 00:05:08.879 give like God tells me to give, God promises to 87 00:05:08.959 --> 00:05:14.560 meet all my needs. I could tell you 224 00:13:29.879 --> 00:13:33.080 about the story of the Jesus feeding the five thousand, 225 00:13:33.720 --> 00:13:38.240 where he took a few loads and a fish, a 226 00:13:38.279 --> 00:13:41.720 bread and fish, one boy's lunch, and he fed five 227 00:13:41.759 --> 00:13:46.080 thousand people with it. By he took it, he broke it, 228 00:13:46.200 --> 00:13:50.000 he blessed it, and he multiplied it. And throughout the Bible, 229 00:13:50.639 --> 00:13:54.159 God does this principle of multiplication, the miracle of multipation, 230 00:13:54.720 --> 00:13:57.759 many many times. He takes a little, and what you get, 231 00:13:57.799 --> 00:14:00.639 whatever you give God, he turns into a lot. So 232 00:14:00.679 --> 00:14:04.720 whatever you need more of, give it to God. Tewod Corinthians chapter nine, verses ten and eleven 245 00:14:43.519 --> 00:14:49.440 says this, just as God gives seed to farmers and 246 00:14:49.559 --> 00:14:54.399 bread for food. God gives you a supply of seed, 247 00:14:54.559 --> 00:14:57.240 in other words, to plant. He gives you a supply 248 00:14:57.279 --> 00:15:00.440 of seed to plant, and then He makes it grow. 249 00:15:01.480 --> 00:15:06.639 So there's a great harvest from your generosity.
