There was no bank that got involved 1137 01:08:24.279 --> 01:08:29.680 with a mortgage or anything like that. So the the 1138 01:08:32.560 --> 01:08:35.319 properties were so sacred that there was no amount of 1139 01:08:35.359 --> 01:08:38.760 money that you could throw at these people to sell 1140 01:08:39.239 --> 01:08:43.279 because it was really, you know, almost its own It 1141 01:08:43.319 --> 01:08:45.760 almost had its own soul like a family member. It was 1155 01:09:40.720 --> 01:09:45.119 called an emergency proclamation, indicating that if there were a 1156 01:09:45.159 --> 01:09:51.640 disaster that the state was going to rebuild sustainable, you know, 1157 01:09:52.479 --> 01:09:59.079 multifamily homes over wherever that disaster had taken place. However, 1184 01:11:58.760 --> 01:12:02.239 Senate Bill thirty three eighty one never indicated that the 1185 01:12:02.399 --> 01:12:05.960 land would be purchased, but that it would that everything 1186 01:12:06.000 --> 01:12:10.239 would just kind of for all intents and purposes, government's 1187 01:12:10.279 --> 01:12:12.600 going to declare eminent domain. They're going to decide what 1188 01:12:12.680 --> 01:12:18.279 you do. And that was why Senator Kurt Favela in 1189 01:12:18.479 --> 01:12:23.199 particular fought really hard against that bill.
