But his mother didn't want him 126 00:06:51.560 --> 00:06:54.519 to go, and so he stayed closer to home on 127 00:06:54.600 --> 00:06:57.759 that and he decided to go into the Navy about 128 00:06:57.800 --> 00:07:02.079 nineteen nineteen eighty five. And then he went into 147 00:08:01.800 --> 00:08:04.639 the Navy, and that's when he started to use drugs, 148 00:08:04.839 --> 00:08:07.079 you know, that's when he started to his cocaine. He 149 00:08:07.120 --> 00:08:10.000 had already started to drink. He said in one of 150 00:08:10.040 --> 00:08:12.879 his reports for the psychiatrist that he was drinking like 151 00:08:13.040 --> 00:08:16.879 sixteen to eighteen beers a day in his teens. But 152 00:08:17.399 --> 00:08:19.399 I think it's a little bit overstated. I don't think 153 00:08:19.399 --> 00:08:22.439 anybody could drink, drink that much liquor and still be 154 00:08:22.839 --> 00:08:25.639 functioning on that sort of thing. But anyways, he began 155 00:08:25.680 --> 00:08:29.279 to use drugs and that started to lead to the crime, 156 00:08:29.319 --> 00:08:32.840 the petty crime. She was eighteen years old 173 00:09:14.200 --> 00:09:17.399 and she was a high school student and Wallace had 174 00:09:17.440 --> 00:09:20.759 a thing for her, and he kept bugging her about 175 00:09:20.759 --> 00:09:23.399 getting together and all that, and they finally ended to 176 00:09:23.000 --> 00:09:25.120 get it together, and then he put the move on 177 00:09:25.200 --> 00:09:28.519 her and he asked her, you know, he backed off 178 00:09:28.759 --> 00:09:31.080 when she got a little frightened, and he asked her 179 00:09:31.120 --> 00:09:32.840 if she was going to report in, and she made 180 00:09:32.879 --> 00:09:35.039 a mistake of saying yeah. He was actually suspected of killing a 217 00:11:29.039 --> 00:11:32.639 woman in Allendale Conde and tempting rape of another one, 218 00:11:32.960 --> 00:11:36.080 and he was also suspected of raping another woman in 219 00:11:36.159 --> 00:11:40.240 Barnwall County, and nothing happened. Nothing really happened.
