It came from it was a 96 00:06:18.439 --> 00:06:24.240 continuation of the ancient Egyptian mysteries, that shamanism in the 97 00:06:24.279 --> 00:06:29.199 desert and Upper Egypt and so forth, and it you know, eventually, 98 00:06:29.800 --> 00:06:35.759 as the theory goes, there were these ancient shamanistic Egyptian mysteries, 99 00:06:35.839 --> 00:06:40.360 and in the Greco Roman world, you know, new religions 100 00:06:40.399 --> 00:06:44.000 were being pushed by these other empires, and these priests 101 00:06:44.000 --> 00:06:49.399 sort of handed it down to Pagans and probably Hellenistic 102 00:06:49.519 --> 00:06:54.240 Jews and so forth, and they eventually and this evolved 103 00:06:54.279 --> 00:06:58.000 into what we call classical gnosticism. But it is without 104 00:06:58.040 --> 00:07:02.000 a doubt an Egyptian really religion, by the rituals, by 105 00:07:02.040 --> 00:07:08.560 the iconography, by the myths so much. And that's that's 106 00:07:08.560 --> 00:07:13.079 certainly it's very important to understand because most mainstream people 107 00:07:13.160 --> 00:07:17.240 and preachers still go, well, it's just a Christian heresies like, no, 108 00:07:17.319 --> 00:07:22.199 not really, It's it's older. There's no perfect logical system.
