The governor today in his statement, 11 00:00:49.880 --> 00:00:52.520 I don't know that the governor made herself available, said 12 00:00:53.200 --> 00:00:58.759 this gun safety law bands ghost guns, strengthens the Extreme 13 00:00:58.960 --> 00:01:02.679 Risk Protection Order Statute to keep guns out of the 14 00:01:02.719 --> 00:01:05.799 hands of people who are a danger to themselves or others, 15 00:01:06.239 --> 00:01:10.359 and invests in violence prevention programs. It is important that 16 00:01:10.439 --> 00:01:14.680 these measures go into effect without delay, which of course 17 00:01:14.799 --> 00:01:18.400 raises the question why sign it today and why not 18 00:01:18.519 --> 00:01:21.959 have signed it in July when the bill was signed 19 00:01:21.959 --> 00:01:25.359 by the governor. We said, look, just just do the ghostgun 48 00:03:11.599 --> 00:03:15.280 portion of this. Everybody can agree on that. There were 49 00:03:15.280 --> 00:03:19.199 other pieces to like the so called glock switches in 50 00:03:19.280 --> 00:03:21.599 things of that nature, and we said, just pass those 51 00:03:21.919 --> 00:03:26.280 and we can then argue the other things.
