Okay, let's go into some reality numbers here, if I may for you, there are at the moment three hundred and ninety one thousand children in the United States in the foster care system. Does that seem like a number that's hard to absorb? Jay? Three hundred ninety one thousand children in the foster care system. Too. Many of these young people are abused, neglected, They struggle with mental health issues because the foster care system is far from perfect. But yet there are for many no round tracks. Yeah, right exactly. Yeah, are we doing a good job with that? In some cases people would say to you, will, there's so many the system is broken. We admit that, But we got to find a place for him instead of having them on the street. So what's better being on the street or being with someone who's going to abuse you? That's the thing, and that means really the answer to that is we've got to do a better job, much better job. Yeah, And a lot of times siblings will do what they need to do to stay on the streets to avoid foster care so that they can stay together, right, because more often than not, when people are bringing their even if you do foster to adopt, most people want babies. Most people don't want above a certain age, and then the child basically has to wait until they age out of the system. And most people who will foster regardless of age are only fostering one or two at a time. They have no problem breaking siblings apart, and they need each other then more than ever. That's right. This is National Foster Care Month. May is Faster Care Month and a lot of things. If you you know, there are always people asking you to donate to this, that and the other thing. I get it, but this is something that is worth paying attention to, and there are a couple of different organizations that you can check out. The foster care system is not run by the government. It's a private entity in a manner of speaking, and so find a foster care center near you. Especially, my father went through the system because my father was an orphan, so he knew all about this stuff. And I remember him donating to what's the he at heavy? He's my brother? What was that the that's the symbol for Father Flanagan's Boys town. It was out of Nebraska. Just I haven't thought about this for years and years and years, and I think it's still in existence. The Catholic charities run I think also foster care, but that was all, you know, because of the pedophile pre stuff that got really sticky, and so a lot of people just went away from it. My father was born into the Catholic Church at least as he wasn't brought up as anything because he didn't have any parents. But when he died, or when he was dying, he wanted to see a priest, which kind of floored me because I never really thought I knew he was. He had been Catholic at birth, his family Irish and German, but you know, it didn't really it wasn't something that you thought of when you thought of him being close to any religion, and so on his deathbed he wanted to see a priest. I found him a priest. But you know, anyway, the point I'm making is that he grew up without parents, and he was very supportive because he was on the street a lot as a kid, and so he was supportive of the Flanagan's Boys Town especially, But other things that we found out about after he had passed, after he died, that he did to help a lot of youngsters. Stories I never knew about my sisters, and I never knew the sort of things that he did for others. And it was sort of one of my sisters was perplexed with it because he didn't pay that much attention to us, you know what I mean. He was that it wasn't bad. It just was what it was. He didn't have the skills. It wasn't bad. He just you know, didn't have the skills. So anyway, I don't want to go down. Here's the story of a two year old boy who unfortunately lost his life. There was a strong gust of wind that set a bounce house. I used to have the bounce house on the farm when people come to the farm to see the cows, and they, you know, give him a little corner of a field to play in. But this after two years old, went flying into a neighbor hot neighboring lot. This is down in Pinal County in Florida. But no, this is Pinal Counties in Arizona. I think there is a panow County in Florida. This is Arizona. Several children playing in a bounce house. Strong on gust of wind sent the bound the bounce house up into the air, and this two year old child was badly hurt, brought to the hospital and died. Absolutely devastating. Yeah, a tragic accident. How do you know that the wind is going to come up and do what you can? Anchor it into the ground, But a lot of people don't because they just don't expect something like that to happen. And we had ours anchored. Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, let's go to the other end of the spectrum, to the super ager end of our Maybe I'm there the people who are aging, the people who are over there. I'm not over at the age of eighty, So maybe this is not specifically about me. But when we get to that point, a lot of us worry about what happens to our brain, what happens to our literally to our mind, and what happens to our mind comes about because of what happens to our brain. It gets calcified, the arteries in our brain get hardened. This is one of the reasons that I take three fish oil supplements a day. Because I know that it keeps all of the veins and arteries and stuff pliable and able to distribute the food of life that is your blood. Well, there's a lot of new research Jay that is surfacing on the mechanics of people who maintain exceptional memories as they go older. A lot of people who are following this pursuit, who are my age and older have the mind of a twenty or thirty year old because of what they're doing, and so the people that are being studied are called super agers. Studying started in twenty twelve. A lot of data around memory focuses on people with dementia and Alzheimer's, then the people who don't. I mean, this is the idea here is to have you understand that capturing the full use of your brain will enable you to you know, they say, doing crossword puzzles and do a lot of that stuff, which is part of what happens as you get older, and you don't want your brain to atrophy. One of the things that happens is you get older. If you retire, you don't have the same interest and focus on things that you did when you were younger, and that leads to this dumbing down if you will. Another way of putting it of your brain. Your brain becomes because of lack of exercise, like your muscles. If you don't exercise and keep your bones together with good strong muscles, your boy's gonna fall apot. This happens to your brain. Don't use it goes away. When is it no pain, no gain? Whatever? So yeah, this week there's a study that was published scientists looking at the findings of previous studies concluding that the brains of super agers have less atrophy, more brain volume. And this is part of the cortex in the center of the brain, the areas that are essential for memory when compared to the average older adults. So what is it? What's a superager? Somebody who has a good diet, gets enough rest, doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, and then uses his or her brain. There's a control group of about twenty thousand people that not only did they look at, you know, the use of all of these things, but also what your DNA or what your your history is. You know, what what were you born into, was the history of your mother and your father, because what you have inherited is oftentimes pretty important to this sort of thing as well, even though we didn't think that. People say, well, dementia didn't exist one hundred years ago. Yeah, I kind of did if you lived old enough. The problem back one hundred years ago or one hundred and fifty or two hundred years ago is people didn't live beyond forty five or fifty, so I didn't have a chance to get it. Now they get older and their brains. You know, we live longer unless our brains are not challenged as much as they might be. So keep your brain cooking there. That's I guess that's a word. Other Wise, we need to debunk the story. If you have big carrots versus small carrots. Listen the home I was like, let's say it was a big carrot and a small carrot. All too often baby carrots are thought of as being a wasteful, pre cut product. We can all do without that big carrots, and then they're just cut down and you are charged a lot more for them. But also, you know what, they're great dipping snacks and if you don't have the time to just do it yourself, go ahead and grab them. And people think, oh, they're soaked in bleach or they're they're gross. Water and stuff in the bags they're it's supposed to be there. And no, there's not bleach on it. No. As a matter of fact. One of the things about the whole the reality of this, uh is well, for example, with me, I eat a carrot every morning and every night, and then I prepare a carrot for a daisy in her food, so she has a carrot and I have a carrot. I just think that they're they're just good for you, and it's kind of fun. I don't put any I don't dip in anything. I just eat them the way they are. But yeah, they are. There's a lot of stuff around that needs to be debunked. They're the air fryar like at the thebow carrots, the purple, the yellow ones, and the white ones along with the orange ones. I met them up through maybe a little bit of all of the oil a big sure it's pure olive oil, and some farlike and maybe a little bit of seasoning. Throw them in the airfire. Oh so delicious. Well, the baby carrots have as much nutrition as the big carrots too, because they are the same thing. It's the same thing, right, It is the same thing. Sometimes they are cleaned and chlorinated water, according to somebody who grows a lot of them, But then that helps prevent the spread of any pathogens. That sort of thing. It's pretty common. It is also approved by the use of organic farmers as well. Whether they do it or not remains to be seen, but they can and it still keeps the carrots into the organic department. But don't let's see, there's no baby. Carrots are not manufactured. You know. I started this thing many many years ago, and people used to laugh about it, that marachine or cherries were made from potatoes and people, yeah, they and I'm very convincing with my argument. They did you know? And do you care? Factfile are you ready, ladies? Okay? The story of Hollywood and how it was actually established in Los Angeles. The facts are that Hollywood wouldn't be the movie mecca it is today if not for filmmakers traveling to get away from Thomas Edison's stranglehold on movie production. Back in eighteen ninety one, Edison positioned himself at the forefront of the film industry was just really kind of getting started, and he patented in a camera known as a kindergraph, and it became a kintoscope then a couple of years later he operated the very first movie studio in West Orange, New Jersey. Can you imagine West Orange, New Jersey being Hollywood now. I also always thought it was the weather that made it the hub. Yeah, well not according to this, He did twelve hundred Over the course of a couple of years, Edison produced twelve hundred films. You know. They were kind of he did the first Frankenstein movie, for example. They were shorts, they weren't long things. And to make sure that his films were successful, he formed an alliance with other patent holders to stop any kind of competition. It was called the Motion Picture Patents Company. The group inundated independent filmmakers who had bought the you know, they bought these these cameras from Edison, and then they used him to try to make movies. Obviously, they wanted to have different studios, but Edison was trying to keep his iron grip on the industry, so he made it impossible, next to impossible people to use They could buy the cameras, but they couldn't use them for movies because he had the patent to use the cameras for movies. And so this went to the Supreme Court in nineteen fifteen United States versus Motion Picture Patents Company, which was Edison, and they busted up Edison's monopoly and then the film industry. In order to get away from all of this, found a home in what is now Hollywood. So how about them apples? You like that story? He interesting. Yeah, he was twenty two years old when he got his first patent, by the way, and so here we go. I was looking at something. Jodie Foster got another award. I was looking at that was an extra, extra extra, and there a lot of you know when I get a kick out of And you see this all the time, Jennifer. I'm sure Jennen does mornings on Carolina Great Radio station in Los Angeles. So the people who get the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, whether you get other things. I think over the weekend, Jerdie Foster put her feet and hands into cement in front of one of the theaters. That people don't get to do that all the time. The stars are pretty common, there's a lot of them, but you don't get to do your feet usually. So that's it. Yeah, no, it's fine. Yeah, you know what I did this weekend, not what did you do this weekend? Jennifer, I took my mom to see her favorite play which I had never seen or seen the movie. I saw Funny Girl for the first time, really, which is the story of Fanny Brice who was always kind of thought of to be kind of the not so pretty, but she was always the funny one, huge radio star and vaudeville starr. And it was such a great show I had never I can't believe I missed it this far into my life. Mm hmm. All right, let's talk about Donald Trump and talking to you two. Thank you well, It's just where would we be without Jennifer's laugh, Jay, right, I have no idea. It is sunshine, yes, lollipops and roses. All right, So Donald Trump is running for president. For all those of you who haven't heard that yet, Trump is running for president. Now. He has a few problems. He has a few legal problems that might end up in legal penalties, and maybe the biggest problem is his effort to try to overturn the last election. Spoiler alert. He didn't win. Well, he did actually in terms of the popular vote. This is what's so silly about all the Republicans who want to have the electoral College stay. More often than not, they do better with well, it wasn't with George Bush because al Gore had more popular vote than did he. But anyway, there are things being done right now, as have been the circumstances where Trump is trying to delay the outcome of these trials. I think there is a poll that came out this weekend, Ladies that suggests that most Republicans believe that Trump committed serious crimes. And people say, okay, so he's a serious criminal, but I'm for him anyway. So is there anything that he can do that will get him sanctioned? The Democrats are trying hard, but they're stumbling over themselves because they're really not that bright and they haven't really come up with stuff. They're like ham and eggers are trying to beat him over the head with a hammer. You don't do that with Trump. But there are more and more people who are interested in mister. I told you this earlier on like six seven months ago, that Kennedy was going to have more of an impact than most third party candidates have had in recent memory. And so that's continuing to be the case. And so Kennedy stepped right up and said I want to debate you. Are you willing to debate? And so far nothing from Trump. I don't know. He's such an egotist he probably will say yes. Right. Do you think if you're a betting person, Jennifer, I would think so, because wasn't it when Biden said, yeah, I want I'll debate Trump. Wasn't it somebody in Trump's camp or representative that was like, okay, so let's set it up. Let's do it like without hesitation, been asking for the debate, certainly with Biden. I think that if Kennedy has enough support in the polls to qualify for the debate, I think he'll be welcomed. I don't think that Trump is going to punch down at Kennedy, which I don't think he should if if there's not if he doesn't qualify legitimately, I think if Kennedy qualifies, I think he should be on that stage. And I think he, you know, if he can get and I think that he will around twelve percent, which is where he's at right now, he probably will be on there and then you'll see a three person twelve percent. If you look at the numbers for the under thirty five crowd, he's easily equal to Trump and Biden thirty some odd haven't seen those polls, but maybe that sounds like a stretch, But maybe I know because you like Trump and you don't want to know. I look at the polls as I give a speech where I go through the polls literally like every couple of weeks, and I haven't seen them. I'm being honest, I have This is not about having a horse in the race. So because what you're looking at typically, I mean, you can drill down and find a poll where you know I'm number one with you know, forty year old women who live on you who live on relation of art or something like that, you know. But I look at the national that I just have politics. So if you look at real clear politics, the general election matchups, I've said before, I mean, twelve percent really is the magic number I think for Kennedy, not just for the debates, but also to have an impact and be a spoiler for one at least of these guys. Right, I think he'll probably take some Republican votes as well. But isn't that a sad thing that for any any voter who truly believes that Trump is a fella that he is guilty of these crimes and would still vote for him. That says how bad the competition is. Yep, sure does. All right, let's talk about your own power for a moment. Whether or not Trump could fire him if he became president again because of the sort of what would we use for the word anachronistic. I don't know that's the right word. But Trump has been all over Powell because of the rate hikes and what it's done to business, And in this case, I think I agree with Trump. The Fed has mishandled this thing. First of all, it was mishandled by the federal government in terms of where the money is being used, where it's being spent. What the you know, It's like we don't even bother to have a budget anymore because who pays attention to it. They just keep borrowing money to give to Ukraine, or give to the Israelis, or to give to payoff student debt, you know, all of those things. That's the kind of stuff I hope will come up and Biden will really have to defend himself, especially on the student debt thing. He really has to be held accountable for pulling that stunt, and so we'll see whether or not that's the case. Speaking of stunts, there's a DA in New York who failed to stop and got a speeding ticket. She was chased down. She swore at the police officer and said to him, I understand the law better than you do. So anyway, she was caught speeding, failed to stop for authorities. Then she when she did stop, she had this inter action. This is Sandra Dorley, who was a Monroe County DA. This is in Webster, New York. I'm not sure where Webster is, but the police have the body cam footage of the exchange and it's you know, obviously he's going to get onto television. This is up around Buffalo. I think that's what this area is. And so she's she calls the chief of police and asks him whether he can he the chief of police can tell the officer to leave her alone. That's who I am. This She went home. She was standing inside of her garage. She told the officers, I'm the DA. I was going fifty five coming from work and it was a thirty five mile an hour zone. She said, I don't really care. This is pretty airing and stuff. I'm telling you why I didn't stop and blah blah blah. Anyway, she calls the chief on the phone, asking him to tell the officers to leave her alone. Continue to refuse the request to comply with some kind of procedure. They wanted her identification, She said again. Well, she called the officer a blank hole and said that she understod the law. Get out of my blanking house. Sounds like a real sweetheart this lady. Yeah, real charmer. She eventually apologized, said she was just having a really bad day, which we all have bad day. That does not mean you get to take it out on somebody else. Nope, especially not a police officer. I'm dope. Yeah, Okay. The NFL has announced it will allow players to wear protective soft shell helmet covers. This is like a soft shell crab. What is this? They're called guardian caps. The league is expanding use of these devices during practices as well. So what is this? Are you safer or not? Saying? It doesn't sound like you're safe or wearing these things, whether you're a quarterback a kicker. But you know, I'm not the expert here. You won't be required to wear the caps, but you have the option to wear them. Apparently they have a lot of data that shows a reduction in concussions if you wear these this ahead gear. Well that's interesting, Yeah, something I would think about there. You know, people will be afraid to be laughed at. Yeah, well yeah, that's then they need to ignore the people that are laughing at them. So it's great business time for Caldron. This study is more involved. I think we've talked about pesticides and fruits and vegetables before, but this is pretty shocking the stuff that's stocked in your grocery store. The seven years of data the Department of Agriculture has gone through the looking at conventional versus organic produce, stuff that's grown all around the country and the pesticide residues that stay in the conventional This is a further report. I think we did have some of this information on Friday, but we looked into a little bit more thoroughly. Fifty nine fruits and vegetables were studied by consumer Reports. And this was dried stuff and stuff. This is frozen stuff and stuff has all of those like additional chemicals and a lot of times so and they can't to keep them yet to keep them fresh, not fresh, but you know what I mean, make it last a little bit longer. But it's everybody argues about organic and whether or not it's worth the price for anything. When you eat the skin or leafy stuff, it is always worth the price, and especially go to the farm. Just go to the farm. The hazard is pesticides that they're talking about. Organic phosphates the organiza they call them, which have been shown to have neurodevelopmental effects on people or all kinds of of insecticides and have toxic effects. So with these organic phosphates, is it would those still be considered organic because it's a living organized Well, they try, they're trying to sell them as organic, but they aren't. By definition, they are not. So nothing is to be trusted. It continues that we don't have food in our grocery stores. It's food like products, even in the produce section. Yep, you got to be very careful if you're conscious or want to be conscious. The bar, some people say, well, the consumer reports people set the by the bar too high. Huh what your health and well being? Why do you think that the death ray has stopped in improving in our country because of all the God blessed pesticides that harm your neurological system. They are disruptors of your endocrine system, and so you need to make more informed decisions. And that's what they have done. That's what consumer reports is much more objective than the government. Government can be bought off by whatever lobbyists trying to get people in Congress to do, but you can't buy off consumer reports. And so that's why this has more impact and is more effective and is more something to read and think about. It's not all doom and gloom. The you know, you look at most of the foods that they look they looked into fifty nine specifically. It's but a lot of other foods that they have also looked at that are nearly organic or not. Some they're not things to worry about, but they're grown. These things are grown on small farms, and you know, that makes it easier to identify the problems. That's why going to the small that's why we do the American Family Farmer Show. That's why we have this report everyday Food, Farm and Family, because we want you to know that there are places it's not the grocery store is the last place to go if you want to get really good quality stuff. Right. I mean you go there, you say, well, I don't have any place else to go. I doubt that's the case. I would say that pretty much everywhere across this country you can find from this time of year on, and depending on whether you're in Florida or California, some of the states that are warm all year long, you can find fresh fruit and fruit and foods and produce every single day in some way, shape or form. There are farmers markets, even if it's weak in farmers markets or the farm stands, and if anybody is saying, like, oh I love in a big city, of course there's no farms around, then you have grocery stores that work directly with farmers. You have those specialty grocery stores. So don't yeah, there's there is access to good quality food, and it's just so disappointing when you look at other countries and the quality of food regularly on the grocery stores versus what we have to deal with, and when it's the exact same brand. Did I bring you into this last week? I think I may have. Jennifer Lanada, I did that, right, I brought everybody into up to date on Lannada. I mean, what is Lanada is the middle of El Nino. Nothing. Yes, yeah, nothing right, it's nothing, so nothing is supposed to change in terms of the weather. That would be the situation. I'm not sure I believe that, but at any rate, it is what it is. So here we go on the follow around some of the news stories on campus unrest. Can you bring us up today what happened in the Los Angeles area, Jennifer, Because I know there were protest scalore at USC, there had been some at UCLA LA. They're actually allowing them. They built like fortified with this wall. They've allowed the protesters to set a setup shop in the center of campus, which is Zarre. But yeah, you know the campus, they have a long string of buildings on either side, and then there's that big green area that we're talking about, sort of a almost a no man's land because the humanities are on one side, science is on the other, and of course they never talked to each other, so it's kind of a no man's land anyway. Yeah, so it seems that the hotspot right now, USC went and canceled their graduation. That was a big story last week. But they also brought in the police to disperse the protesters at UCLA. There was a group of pro Palestinian protesters that were allowed to kind of set up shop. Well, they were met by pro Israel protesters who showed up on Sunday and did a support of the Jewish students, a protest for them. Of course, then there were fights that were breaking out between those two groups. So there were arrests at Northeastern University here in Boston, and as a matter of fact, one hundred people were arrested and taken away in paddy wagons. Dozens were arrested at Washington University in Saint Louis. There were a lot of people arrested at Arizona State Indiana University. All together, six hundred people were detained at colleges across the country, more here in Boston than anywhere else. And if you look at the organizers who are going to the people running these universities, these lily livered people like the women from Columbia that testified last week and all these other people who don't really they have no business being in charge of large universities. They don't know what to do. I don't know what's going on. They're completely out of leadership. Yeah, they look. Look, you can say that war is bad, but you can't say that Jews are pigs and threat in their life. That's what you can't do, and that's what is missing. It's like, well they're peaceful, Well what is peaceful about shouting hateful threats at people who are just trying to go to school. Yeah, there are a lot of in northeasterns case, extreme anti Semitic messages that were being put up. The photos of this unspeakable stuff, no recognition as to what the Jewish people have been through. There are a lot of people who are observing in some parts of the country that these they're paralleling, these demonstrations are the same kind of thing that went on during the protests of nineteen sixty eight. And it'll be interesting to see how because that was at the Democratic National Convention to Chicago. This year, the convention is also in Chicago, So what do you suppose is going to happen there? Then that'll that's interesting drama that will continue. Speaking of drama, I guess in my mind, Trump is running against Biden and Kennedy. Why does he keep bringing up Jimmy Carter? What is there about visit Jimmy Carter feels good because he's no longer the bad, the worst president. Yeah, well, there may be something to do that Jimmy Carter, but I just think that to bring in he says that he's a nice man, and you know that he's that he and Melawney have always loved Jimmy Carter, but that now he feels good because he's no longer the worst. Yeah. Okay, that's a grain of salt and throw it over your shoulder and let's move on. So what's going on with Mitch McConnell, who is standing by Trump at least as far as the immunity stance is concerned, but he's staying away from abortion. Basically, if I read between the lines here Jennifer and Jay, he said it's a state issue. That was the ruling. The ruling from the Supreme Court never took a Roe v. Wade a part. It just said it's up to the states to decide. And so one by one, each of the states that's put it to a vote have gone back to the essence of Roe v. Wade. So then you wonder, well, why did the Supreme Court do this in the first place If it was going to just say the way that it is, or ultimately go back in the meantime, federal government never had jurisdiction and that that was a bad ruling by the federal government and so they're giving it back to the states. That was always kind of the crux of the argument. And McConnell actually continues to split with Trump. There's no love loss between the two of them this moment. He actually says that presidents can be prosecuted and that they are not immune, that they don't enjoy full immunity. Okay, So what does that do for him? Well, that means because what the Supreme Court heard arguments on this last week was whether or not President Trump had immunity in the particularly in terms of the election case. And so Mitch McConnell has continued to say no, no, no, And what the Supreme Court, I think will say is go back and tell me when this was done. Was this done as an official actor? Was this done as an act of the campaign, and then we can have that conversation. So basically delaying it because the Supreme Court doesn't want to say no immunity because then that's not good for any president. The Supreme Court doesn't want to say full immunity, because then you might have problems as well. So right, speaking of having problems. South Dakota Governor Christy Nome has a new book coming. Oh is that from you? Yeah, I think she's I don't understand the Well, go ahead, tell the story. Well, she's never been somebody who's high on my list of anything except useless politicians. I think she's a good governor. It's just I think she's trying to get her starter rise because she's on Trump's list, and so she comes out with this crying too. Hid says that she shot her dog. Now I do want to put it and you'll actually areciate this, probably, Doug. Maybe. I mean, I think about the way that she talked about this, and at first we like on first blush anybody who hasn't read it or who lives in the city, and probably it gets big headlines and you read in between. Yeah, I mean, I think about my uncle George, who's a farmer, and my uncle George has a completely different view about life and death as a farmer than I think we do. You know, he sees a circle of life every single day, and some animals serve to become food and some animals. I mean, I would have a problem like that's why I don't have chickens and cows because I couldn't kill the cow and I couldn't kill the chicken, right right, Yeah, I can't kill anything on it. I don't think this is the way in twenty twenty four to get votes, right. It shows you what I'm saying, like, I don't think that she's I'm not going to paint her as this horrific person mom that I think a lot of leftist want to paint her as at this moment. But at the same time, I do question why this She didn't use the judge in your book. Yeah, this is bad judgment and it seems to me that it eliminates her. Trump will look at this and say, I don't need this. She just shot herself literally already suffering because don't forget she was the one that allegedly was having an affair with Corey Lewandowski as well. So there's that, and that's why I kind of thought she was off the list, because that probably Trump doesn't need at this point. I think he's looking for someone safe, maybe along the lines of like a doub Bergham or something like that, or or Kennedy's not gonna or Kennedy, well, you know, he's Kennedy continues to say he was asked. I don't know. Maybe, yeah, all right, So who's this guy? State Senator Jake Hoffman from Arizona who is indicted on Friday accused of working to overturn Biden's election. He's on some kind of national RNC pos I know what it is. He got indicted with those sixteen other people. Who is this guy? We know Giuliani and some of the other ones on the list, but I don't know who this guy is. Here's a teenager. Fourteen year old Florida boy told police he accidentally shot and killed his eleven year old brother after finding a gun in an alley near their home. This is Saint Petersburg, Florida. At LAE responding to the family's home found Amir Williams suffering from a gunshot wound. The boy died just Shortly after that, he was off from school with his brother and they were wandering around and I guess the two brothers and sisters were wandering around. The mother wasn't home. Guy, this kid found the brother found the gun, and nobody knew that he had it. Apparently, So how did the kid get shot? That seems to be and that that that paragraph that that that detail that are probably playing with it gun was reported stolen a week or so ago. So what is there? Is there that much ignorance when it comes to guns. You play with a gun, you don't know whether it's loaded or not. Is that what we're saying here? It sounds like that's what we're saying. Of a certain age, and sometimes even above a certain age. Sometimes people think they're invincible. Then nothing will happen, that they can do something and nothing bad will come from it. It has all kinds of weird stuff on the top of it, on the side of it, and it says driverless car on the back of the car. So I'm trying. Everybody's looking at this car. Is nobody in the car? Right? Nobody? So we're driving. I tried to get around it and to see what was going on. I don't know what I thought I was going to see, but I saw nothing, and the card the car took a right hand turn and the directions were on. Somebody must have been powering at someplace though, right, isn't there them Just sent them out and like a top and let them go and go wherever they want to. Isn't somebody can prove in the car someplace? Yeah, they have a map and stuff, so they have a designation that is stop point and endpoint. You know, they have to do several toss or other day. I think they're they're bothersome because I always want to test them all. How safe are you? Let me get in front of you? Let me stop all you're going to stop, you know that sort of thing. So I think people always just want to mess with it, and you know, like they want to get up and see does it really have nobody there? The pedals working, what happens when it shifts gears? So I think they're a nuisance for more than one reason. It looked like, yeah, there were people that were curious and they you know, that causes distraction on the driving. All right, Tesla has cut the price of its full self driving car. They've cut it by eight thousand dollars. So what the self driving car usually costs, I think thirty six thousand dollars more, But now it's cut back. Who wants to drive these things? This is what he's got a fleet of robo taxis that are supposed to be Are they on the road yet? Where are they with? They're still testing he announced three times in the past. Then since twenty sixteen, I believe that he who's going to go all in robotaxes and then he says nothing about it for four years, so we forget about it and we move on. And so he did it sixteen, twenty and twenty four just recently mentioned it. I would say, though that Tesla's cars aren't actually for self driving. They call them self driving cars, but that software is not legalized in the US yet. So even though the car has the software, you pay for something that you could potentially use and by the time you've sold the car. So the company was the darling of Wall Street. But the stock is off forty percent now, mainly because of the performance of the cars and the performance of the guy who runs the company, right, I should tell you, Yeah, he's just cut the prices again, so you could potentially, with all your discounts and stuff, get a Model three for around thirty seven one hundred dollars, which now brings it into line with probably what they should have been in the first place. So what about some of these SUVs you've been driving, you've been testing hand. Yeah, so we took out, Yeah, we took out twenty of the best, and we didn't discriminate. We allowed you know, electrics and gas and everybody to come play. We didn't pick up trucks as well.
