I've got more claims he has stats, although ten minutes ago he claimed he didn't have any stats and was asking me why he needs stats, and I was like, I told you on the podcast yesterday to have stats that I got it. We'll see if anything develops from that. We got the Colossus closing in on a winner. You spelled the classes wrong on the right down the mystery bounty is flying on down to looks like three tables. All right, what's first, sir? Twenty five thousand dollars p l oh high roller David Eldridge won his second World Series of Poker Gold bracelet, and boy is this one different than the first. Tim is over here giving me the look of death because he probably wrote he won a bracelet in Pennsylvania online for I think forty seven thousand dollars, So that is why you likely missed it. As Tim Tims, there's no fucking WSP logo put his photo on the mic or his forehead on the mic. But I was saying, this is this my whole recount. This bracelet is very much different than listen. At least you didn't interview him, because you would have went out there and been like, hey, how's it feel to get your first bracelet? And he would have been like, I got too, buddy, But very different than the first one. I think the first one was a one K buying event on WSB dot com Pennsylvania. But that one, for you know, obviously online in one state is a bit smaller than everything else, so I think he won around forty seven or fifty k if I remember correctly, did David Eldridge. But here tops a big, big, big field the four hundred and seventy six entries in the twenty five thousand dollars PLO high Roller to win two million, two hundred and forty six thousand dollars. Not only did Eldridge top that massive field in this high roll or high buy an event to win a huge first place sum of money, but he defeated Poker Hall of Fame six time Gold Bracelet winner mister Brian Rast. I really thought, especially when Rast had the chip lead at the final table chip lead heads up, I thought the summer of seven was going to continue. We had Hennigan winning seven, we had Negronju winning seven, we had Scott sever winning seven. This would have been Rast winning seven. And then I was thinking, so Jeremie Alsma's has to win seven, right, But we get David Eldridge. Who listen, Eldridge played awesome at this final table. Again, we did commentary on this, so got to watch it from start to finish. I mean, he was bobbin and we even throwing haymakers here, jabs there, like doing every single thing you need to do, keeping his opponents like way off balance. I'm not sure anyone else at the table could really get a grasp of what David Elders was trying to do. He was bluffing a whole lot, which then led to him getting paid off a whole lot when he had big hands. You know, there was some very interesting ICM moments because you know three handed play. Rass was a huge tip leader over Eldridge and Ethan Kahn, so there was some interesting maneuvering that had to be done there. But ultimately, you know, Eldridge comes out on top. He did enter heads up play at a big chip disadvantage, but he was able to battle back get into the chip lead, and then he started putting the pressure on Rast. Then they got back to even they started flipping the chip stacks back and forth. But again at the end of the day, David Elders was able to grind Brian Rass down and then ultimately finish him off. So the six time goal brace the winner. Brian Rass will have to wait for number seven. I got the sense that like this one pretty much stung a lot from Brian Rass just just kind of looking at the way things resulted, you know, his mannerisms afterwards, the way he was kind of acting. I mean, when you get so close, yeah, you know, heads up, I'm sure you just you absolutely feel like you had it and then it got away right. But overall, you know, really really great final table. So Elders took that two million, two hundred and forty six thousand dollars for first place, then Brian Rass just shy of one point five million dollars for him for second place. I mentioned Ethan Kahn, he took home a one million and thirty eight thousand dollars for third place. Yangwang seven hundred and thirty one thousand dollars for fourth place. And then at today's final table returned five handed. You had finished pro the legend Yuha Helpi busting in fifth place for five hundred and twenty five thousand dollars. What do you want to move on to? Come with a sun high line studd high love. Okay, let's do this. We are down to three handed play. We have Richie skalar A rash Ghanian, and Thomas Taylor battling for the three hundred and seventy six thousand dollars first place prize. The final three players are guaranteed one hundred and seventy three thousand dollars. They came from a field of one hundred and sixty seven. You know, finished in sixth place in this event. Eric Wasserson, No, he was. Eric Wasserson was fifth place. Sixth place was our guy, Dario Alioto on our fantasy team. Dario's had a great summer. Would have liked to see him. I mean, this is the loudest study eight rail in the history of mankind. It's unbelievable. I don't even know how you get excited over study or do they cheer? They say it's the game of the future, so it's pretty easy to get excited about that is not the game of the future. Yeah, Dario has been grinding his butt off, yeah this summer, and it would have been good just to see him come out on top because he's had several close calls. He did earn us fifty points, he did earnt himself sixty five thousand dollars. So let's see if he has any big runs going forward. Michael Rocco got eighth place in this one, Brad Rubin twelfth place, Norman Chad fifteenth, Todd Brunson busted in fourth place. By the way, you mentioned Eric Wassers and he took fifth place in this event. So not much update there because we don't have a winner just yet. It's just about eleven thirty. My question to you, is this going to end tonight? No? This ten the ten K seven guard stood for sure. He's be four days or they got to speed up the structure, speed it up. Speed this truck, I mean anything with footpots speed up. Yeah, and we've talked about how some of these structures need to be sped up in general. All right, let's move on. Colossus Colossus, Colossus, Colossus, what was it? It was over nineteen thousand entries, became the seventh largest live poker tournament of all time. They are down to five players. Julian Eugen Zau I probably totally butchered that name, looks to be leading the way. Joel vanettin second place, Ricky and Dino is in there, Brooks Floyd and then Martin Alcaide is also in there. They are battling for what is more than five hundred thousand dollars up top one hundred and forty four thousand dollars for fifth place. Mac Lance ran deep in this one field bonus. Mac Lance took nineteenth place, earned twenty one thousand, six hundred dollars and a whole crap ton of field bonus points for anyone who has him in ODB or twenty five K fantasy. I have no idea who has him in twenty five K fantasy. I would bet that it's just the dinkers, Like I'll just bet that it's not the dinkers. How do the dinkers have one and twenty six points? Is this? How is this a real score? I mean Roberts Rocky Strattor for a dollar has two hundred and ten points. Good God, Glance is on Team Lucky. Of course he's on Team Lucky. We did move up into we broke into single digits. By the way, in twenty five K fantasy. We are now up to five hundred and twenty four points. We are in ninth place. We are very much within striking distance of cash. I don't know if we're within striking distance of winning, because the dinkers is crushing, but we all we can cash. We can definitely cash four spots pay. We are one hundred and twenty points out of fourth, so we can cash. It can happen. You know, we got we got some people making some runs, so let's freaking go. Guys. What's next? Mix pig bet No, mister Bownie, we're doing, mister Bownie. What's going on over there? They're down to sixteen? Dang, this thing is flying. It's fine. Yeah, could finish today? Could it? Really? Is it a three day event? Yeah? Wait? Is today day to today's day? Two? Yeah? Holy finished? They bust the bubble today and they're going to get down. No, they're not going to finish it today. This is this isn't a turbo right, it's just a mystery bounty. It's forty million levels but so fastish. Philippe Kaiser, I believe it's how you say his name. Maybe I'm wrong there, but he hit the biggest bounty two un and fifty k. I saw some chatter on social media that they need to rethink the bounties. Yeah you agree, Yeah, what are your thoughts? They had one hundred and forty five five K bounties. They had what, yes, something insite like that? Yeah, who cares about that? As a ten k? Bye? That's my point. What do we do? Give me some more twenty five k's, fifty k's, one hundred k's. I was actually when I went out there to check, like to walk through the events, see who was still in and whatever. You know, they have the bounties up on the screen, I was surprised that the biggest bounty was only two hundred fifty K. I mean, I don't think I don't think you would ever want to go to a million, just because Mystery Millions is the Mystery Millions and that's the thing. But I thought you might get a five hundred yes, like you know, that'd be that'd be cool. How many one hundred and forty five? It was something like that, Yeah, we gotta find this. Oh here we are one hundred and forty five five K bounties and then thirty four to ten K bounties? Was this because the field size was so large and everyone who made was was it? Everyone that made Day two was a bounty? Yes? Well just adjust that. I think you need to adjust that. You just need to stop bumping some of those one forty five five k's up a bit? Yeih, how are you going to do that? You have to take more money out of the price bool? No, No, I mean you take take a hundred of them, right, and then make them bigger. So sorry, you take one hundred of the five K bounties, you turn like four of them into twenty five of them into twenty five K, five them into twenty five K. That's what. If everyone on the Day two makes is a bounty, then you need the number of you need the same number of people that make Day two. No, I don't think you all saying saying I think I do, and I don't think you're understanding math. I love math better than you aimation. If you have one hundred five K bounties, yes, and you change that to lesser bounties but for more money, yes, then that means some pi R bounty. Yeah, yes, I know, I'm right, this is math. Like, I mean, what, like what are you talking about? So you need to just adjust the fact that, like you know, maybe it's maybe in this tournament, it's like I don't know, the fucking top ten percent of the field is the bounty or something like. That's when you get or when you get into the money, then the bounty start or something. That's how normally is right, and mister Bounty right, Well, no, because like the Mystery Millions, you make the money and then the bounty start on day two. Yeah, but I'm saying, like there's not many to if you play at the win and if you played the win, I think you make the money, but then you end the day. Yes, the Mystery Millions, you made the money and then you kept playing. No, I know, I get that. I'm saying, there's not many tournaments where mister Bownie stopped before you're in the money, is my point. This is probably the only one. You know, they went in the money today coming back today, is my point. So maybe they need to play later on day one. Maybe it's played down to fifteen percent regardless of length of day. Yeah, man, or you can just or you can just figure it out the next day. I mean, right, I don't see why not, but yeah, I think in this one, definitely definitely would need to look at that for sure. In their defense, they probably got a little bit caught off guard. I mean, five hundred and sixty eight entries this year and nine hundred and sixty five. I mean it basically doubled. I mean, so it's like you know, it just it went gangbuster. There's more than a million dollars up top in this event, one million and eighteen thousand, which is out of control. I think last year Chris Claude Nikki won like eight hundred and fifteen thousand or something. Everyone that cashed got thirteen thousand, six hundred dollars, which isn't the double if you go off the ten k, but it is kind of double if you go off the seven k that actually goes to the prize bowl, seven K to the prize bowl, three K to whatever. Right, I think that's how it breaks out. And look at that, they're already down to fifteen. They're just freaking flying out of here. Damage I Davenport is leading the way. I mean, this chip count can't be real. He is double second place. Robert Heidorn made a deep run in the WSP main event, once tenth place a place. They should have six Mystery Bounty tournaments on the WIT schedule next year, like that's what this year. They should have a one K obviously, the mystery millions. I mean they should have Fuck, they should just have a five hundred for all I care. They should have a three K, they should have a five K, they should have the ten K, they should have a fifty K, Like, I mean, why not just go for it? You're crazy? Yeah I am crazy, But like these people want to blast off, do they not need to have like something like that. They need to do the fifty K high rollers every other day. They need to have a two hundred and fifty K PLO. Yes, I haven't even looked at the updated fifty K PLO high roller numbers. But like when all the PLO high rollers are smashing the Nolan Holdham high rollers, it's time to add it to fifty k. Like it just is kitchen Event Today by Ben Blaham actually for hour series. That's the kind of that's kind of random player of the day ish, I mean, I haven't seen that name all summer, so yes, how me mee this chipped up Phillip helmet up, Andres Corn is not chipped up. Looks like he's going the other way. And it says Andres Corn is from Frankfurt. He's not German, He's Argentinian. Okay, Like maybe that's the discrepancy in his results. Well, they had him in there as Norberto Corn the other day, so twenty four left in this one. First place is two hundred and ten thousand dollars. We could have a Phil Helmy run, you could. We should stream this. I was just gonna say, if this guy and you you know he's for sure going to make he's I would bet on the fact that he's for sure making Day three, which is tomorrow, which is the start of the w c P main event, which means we are going to get a ton of messages about streaming ChIL to it, and to be honest, we should be doing it. Yes, we should be banking it happy, but we're gonna get a whole ton of messages about King Kallus is still in there. Joey Coodin is out there as well. I mean that's it's a pretty good field. This is a pretty pretty good field. Still a long way to go in this one. With twenty four players remaining. It's day two, so they're playing down to whatever final table X levels, et cetera, and then they'll come back and finish it out on Wednesday. Thousand dollars Mini main Events. I love this tournament. Kind of a little bit bummed out that I didn't play it this year. But whatever, last year had five thousand, like two hundred and something entries, this year has six thousand and ninety three. Hella crushing. I mean, so for all the numbers talk that we had, I mean, I came off the future me and myself talk, for all the talk that we did all summer long about all the numbers, you know, bouncing up and down and all over the place, and then you know spiking for all the high roller stuff, a bit of a surge, like the last week, Colossus Huge Search went from like fifteen eight to nineteen something. You gotta put an asterix on why. Okay, they added flights in the Monster Stack in the Millionaire Maker and they got five percent increases. So I'm just saying there's an asterix. I'm just saying, I just saying it. But yes, Producer Rich Ryan's theory is schools out people are like, you can't, you can't take time off to go. His theory is that you you know, it's you're less likely to take time off and go if your kids are still in school, like so you wait till the kids are out of school, like school for fucking seven weeks, buddy, No, I think some schools were later. You got to set everything up, you got you know, you can't just like schools out, SMA camp, send him on some camp and go play poker. Anyway, So we saw big up tick and classes. We saw a huge uptick in the mystery bounty, the ten game mystery bounty that was bananas. Obviously. The twenty five k PLO that we already mentioned was very very large. We haven't gotten to it yet, but I'm assuming the fifty k PLO is trending to be very large. I don't know, Actually, you need to look up. I already have last year's first number. Yeah, I got it. Okay, you need to speak up when you talk. Also, you know three people told me you don't talk loud enough to turn them mind, you got the look, you got the switchboard there, turn it out. They're all the same. You don't know how to talk on a podcast or on a microphone in general. You have to project. You have to stuff your voice into the microphone. Like, that's what you have to think about it, got it? Thank you? And then the Mini Main event is up a ton, Yeah, year over year? What was you were here? What was it like? What were the lines like? It was? I mean, it was insane that they were in the what's it called? This is the Grand ball room? It did like two loops in that room. Then it looped outside into the hallway down past the men's toilets, the registration in the other room. They won't letting anybody in max Light registration. There was a line out the door. It was an insane day for the Mini Main event. Yeah, so I have a side topic for a second because you made me think of it and I wanted to bring it up yesterday, but I didn't bring it up yesterday. When you bust these tournaments like the Colossus Mini main events gonna fall into that. Gladiators. Of course, all these tournaments you have to first go stand in a line. You're right, they say, hey, you know whatever, payout table whatever. You stand there, The tournament staff comes over and like they send a message to the clerks or whatever. Then the tournament clerk comes over and gives you your payout slip and like walks you over to a line. You go stand in this line, which for the big fields tournaments, the line can be extremely long. Like I mean, I was waiting in the Colossus line yesterday for like half an hour. And you go up, you give them your payout slip, you give them your ID, and you give them your player's card and they all they do is put you in the system. Correct. Why is this the thing? Well, you need put ratls and they'll be automatic. Okay. Why like why when the clerk comes over to me, doesn't the clerk just like have an iPad or something and just like you know, like a I don't know, you just swipe my player's card or something and then you punch something in and then you just automatically whatever, and then I walk and go do whatever I want. If they just do it on the iPad, it's done. You're already in the system. Yeah, It's like it seems pretty wildly absurd that I have to First I get a tournament staff comes over. They're like in a WhatsApp chat or something whatever, they're doing telegram texting, Like, just pay out so and so, so and so. Then then another person comes over, hands me a piece of paper, walks me over to a line with like three hundred people in it that I have to then stand in just to be entered into a system. Then you have to go stand in another line to actually get the money. Yeah, like that seems like a very bad process overall. Like I feel like that there should just be like a tournament clerk, Like I think the pokerautlest thing is obviously the best, right, but they're Bravo here, they're not poker outles, so I get it. But still, like, just come over with an iPad when you do the mystery bounty event you knock someone out, you know, someone comes over with an iPad and you just do your thing. You really press a button and that's it. Like, so why can't it just be like that but for payouts, Like, I don't understand why you need all this extra waiting around. It seems crazy to me. That's that's done like that anyway, I'm all over the place. I think Alan Castler said that it took about an hour and a half, maybe an hour and forty five minutes to get through the line. Just wild stuff, but good problem to have because that means numbers are banging. All right, let's check on this fifty thousand dollars plow high roller, mister statman. Jason Mercyer is the chip leader. I mean, of course he is. Jared Blesnick is second, Santo Servana's third. I mean, come on, this field is sexy. One hundred and thirty one entries, That's what the thing says right now. Why don't you tell me what it was last year? Well, I'll see we had one hundred and sixty seven entrants one day one Yep, that played down to and t So right now we're behind that pace. Final number was two hundred in that one year before only one hundred and six entrance. So yeah, even that last year was the huge spike for everything. Yeah, it doubled, It was basically doubled. But yeah, we're currently behind pace. So all your big bit high roller theory up year on year increases is looking I'm sorry, one of like the twelve of them. Yeah, this one's just not going to follow how follow through? How long do they play tonight in this tournament? Eight levels I'm looking at of right now. I think they have level twelve levels. Two more levels. Oh yeah, it's it's not then on our levels forty minute levels. They play twelve levels. Late registration is open, maybe three levels tom at then late registration is open until No, it's only one level tomorrow. Oh, that's stupid, says It says one pm restart for day two. Late registration thirteen levels, so approximately one forty on day two. That doesn't mean. That doesn't make sense. Haven't they been doing it? Two levels? It's then you have a break so that they can sort out all the This wouldn't be a break, right, this would be the hell. This sounds like fun. Two re entries are allowed per player in this event, so you know some of the numbers thing, you know, not being on pace could just be re entry variants. You know obviously a lot about that with the PGT events that can just you know, not necessarily break in your favor. Last year was the same. I did look this up before. You know, three entries max per player, two re entries plus your original entry. Oh they're done. They're done right now. It looks like Jason Mercer is the chip leader as long as no one else pops out of the woodwork. And then Jared Blesnik, second, Santo Servanna, third, Bryce Yockey's doing well. David ben Jamine is in there. I see Yanna, you come inine in. I see last year's champion, Jesse Lonis. I see Scott sever Is out there going for a bracelet. Number four John Reardan, how King, Nick Schulman, Carrie Katz, Anthony Zeno Mgranu departs is like the last update that they put in, So that's fun. What does he have? Ace King? Eight three? I felt that sort of way about the Global Poker Awards in that, like, listen, I just think that there's a lot of people out there who have voting power who just aren't in tune with a lot of stuff that's going on. You know. That's that's kind of why I ultimately like how you know, like the MVP and the NBA is voted on by media, not the players. You know, all pro is voted on by media, not the players. You know, Like, yeah, you know, media have their biases. Of course, I think everyone has their biases, but I also feel like in some ways, you know, in a lot of ways, media is just kind of better verse. But then again, you know, building off that, you have to curate the media because it's not just every single person that's quote unquote media, because as I think we've experienced with the Global Poker Awards, people just basically vote for their favorites or they vote for anythings, you know. So like I think I wrote about this once for Pocket Fives, Like basically with like the Global Poker Awards for example, and also the Poker Hall of Fame, like you have a list of people who can vote, and they basically need to have a test every single year, and you either pass or fail the test, and if you pass, you can continue voting. Unless something insane happens will be they will award the two hundred millionth first place prize dollar to the winner. We're currently at one hundred and repeat that currently at one hundred and ninety four million dollars. So unless the first prize is less than six, lets think get four thousand entries. Now I'm looking I was trying to do some figuring out why on this, but I didn't get through it all and I look at Okay, so in the past, the last three years, we've had day two registration, so that changes how the numbers are kind of interpreted. Back in the days, we used to have just three flights. Late two thousand's we had four flights. So, you know, like it's been the structure of the main been different most most years. But how many day ones were there when Moneymaker won just one year? Like when when did it go to multiple? First multiple one that I have on my thing is Jamie Goldzier, But then was it two? It was through four? So they went one to four no, I don't. That's where my data stops. So I've got a feeling this. I'm just curious how that progression went. Like you know that sort of thing continue the last fifteen years, last fifteen years, only on three occasions has Day one ain not been the smallest field. And it was only less than Day one A by like literally two tables, so it's a dramatic drop off. I don't know why I feel like Day one A is going to be larger than normal this year. I don't know. Starting in twenty twelve to twenty nineteen, it was Day one C was the biggest field, and then before that twenty eleven down to two thousand and six. I do not have two thousand and seven data. It was one D. So what did I say? Last flight always the big guess it's just followed a trend that. Yeah, it's been pretty consistent over the years, So I know, I like that kind of nerdy stuff. But I'm saying, how how has the day two entries for like twenty twenty one been compared to the Day two entries for twenty twenty two and then twenty twenty three? Is it going up getting Day two entries? So let's not for twenty twenty one, weird year we were in November. That's things. Throw that one out, but let's go the last two. Let's go Espens and Wineman's year Day two A B one ninety six, so that's pretty similar. Day two D was five eleven. Is not very similar. It's CLO's, it's Satman, it's I think to me, it's very very similar. When we're talking ten thousand entries, you're talking difference of four. We're talking about the difference between those two numbers. Percent difference. That is a very significant percent difference. Different way. Yes, if you're looking at it individually, Yeah, then you what I'm trying to get at. What I'm trying to get at is late regging and more specifically max late regging things has become a much more popular thing to do because that can often maximize your ev Okay, that is why so many of these guys are max late reging everything, coming in at the absolute last minute, getting in there. So is that then translating to the WSP main event? Meaning now that max late reging and late reging in general becomes more and more of a thing that players are doing. Are they doing it also in the WSP Main Event? Are more and more players late reging the WSP Main Event? Or are they not? And it's just kind of flat. So like if it went from one to one ninety six, is it going to go to two fifty? But then day to day he went from five eleven down to five us up. Yeah, So then it's I'm just saying then it's not, but you need to just you just need to add those two numbers because I just want total day two rege, So you need to add them both and then say, you know, in twenty twenty two, the total day two redge was this. In twenty twenty three, the total day two redge was this. And then I'm curious if that number just continues to go up, if it goes down, if it stays flat, whatever it is, because max late reging, yes, is plus ev in many spots. But the wasby main event can just be the Unicorn event where it just is not because you want to show up early play hand number one, three hundred big blind is deep against everyone in the universe, Like that's what you want to do in this event, right, So so what I find interesting is, okay, twenty twenty two, there was six hundred and fifty nine light entrance got okay twenty twenty three, seven hundred and three late. But if you compare it to the field size twenty twenty two, seven point six one percent, you compare it to twenty twenty three seven percent, so went down relative to total field down. Yes, so that's a little bit interesting then yeaheah, but there it is stats. No, but listen, I don't think the percentage matters in this case because you're getting interpreted you're not. I don't think you're getting I don't think you're getting common poker player max late regime. I think max late reging is coming from pros that recognize the ev difference with max late regiing. So they're making the transition from showing up early on day one to then transitioning to max late regiing, right, So that's where I think that population comes from. And then the number of the main event itself just generally grows because poker becomes more popular, there's more satellite winners, et cetera, and all those people that fall into that category are showing up number one. That's what they're doing. So I don't think the percentage matters so much then the actual real one thing I want to just randomly that I've stumbled across in my stat diving in the past. So the year Bill Smith went won nineteen eighty five, one hundred and forty entrants, nine players in the money, he won seven hundred k. Cool. Next year they made a they go we're going to pay out more spots so they wanted to pay out thirty six spots. They pay out thirty six spots, but they only got an increase of one player. I think that year they also paid less, the mid payer was less. So then for the next seven years we still do thirty six spots. We go from one forty one to two to two oh one. Then they go, let's go down to twenty seven, so three tables. We get an actual increase of thirty players. And then you know, fifteen years later we start seeing these bigger growths in payouts. But I don't know, I feel that interesting. We had paying out just nine for you know, five six, and then let's just go to thirty six. I wrote down a handful of names here, six of them who have had some really good runs in the WS be main events as a whole, most of them in the modern era. One one person. I did have to include one cash out of the modern era. And when I say modern era, I consider that two thousand and three and beyond two thousand and three. That's when Moneymaker won and you know, everything just took off from there. But I'll use two thousand and three as the start of the modern era. Anton saout two thousand and nine third place three point four to seven nine million buckaroos, twenty sixteen got twenty fifth for two hundred and sixty nine k, and then twenty seventeen fifth place for two million. That's a pretty pretty sick run, so a third in two thousand and nine, sixteen, twenty fifth, twenty seventeen got fifth. Okay, then there's Ben Lamb. So Ben Lamb has in this new modern era five cashes. In two thousand and seven one hundred and fifty sixth place for fifty eight k, which is, you know, I mean obviously good, yes, but like not really what I'm hitting at here. But the next three two thousand and nine he got fourteenth for six hundred and six six hundred and thirty three thousand. In twenty eleven he made the final table, took third place for four million and twenty one thousand dollars. In twenty seventeen he made the final table, took ninth place for a million dollars, and then in twenty twenty three, last year, he got six hundred and fifty first place for thirty thousand dollars. So pretty good record for mister Lamb in the WSP main events Mark Neuhaus. Twenty eleven he got one hundred and eighty second for forty seven thousand dollars, and then of course twenty thirteen and twenty fourteen ninth place. Both years twenty thirteen seven hundred thirty three K for the ninth place finish and then the next year ninth place for seven hundred and thirty K. In twenty twenty one he cashed nine hundred and tenth for fifteen K, So not bad for mister newhouse. Joe Katta, this is a good one. Two thousand and nine he wins the WSP Main Events eight million, five hundred and forty six thousand dollars. Twenty seventeen he cashes for sixteen K, took nine hundred and forty eighth place. In twenty eighteen he returns to the final table. He takes fifth for two million, one hundred and fifty thousand dollars, and then twenty twenty three he finished in the money thirteen hundred and fifty fifth place for fifteen K. That's pretty damn good, Dan Harrington, this is the one where I included the outside of the modern era, even if you just do look at the modern era. Two thousand and three, he got third for six hundred and fifty K. Two thousand and four he got fourth for one point five million, and then in two thousand nine and he got two hundred and fifty second for thirty three K. If you include nineteen ninety five, he won the event for one million dollars. I mean, overall, pretty darn good track record for mister Harrington. And then listen, we got a touch on mister phil Ivy twenty sorry two thousand and two. I know this is of course before the twenty twenty three but or sorry two thousand and three. But I have a reason for this because in two thousand and two he got twenty third for forty K. The next year two thousand and three, he got ten for eighty two thousand, seven hundred. Two thousand and five he got twentieth for three hundred and four thousand dollars. So two thousand and two to two thousand and five, three top twenty five finishes pretty good. Two thousand and nine this was the year he made the wsp Man final. Say well, that's the year Joke had a one seventh place one million, four hundred thousand dollars. Twenty fourteen, Ivy cashed again four hundred and thirtieth place for twenty five thousand, seven hundred dollars, and then he cashed again in twenty and eighteen, five hundred and forty seventh place for twenty four thousand dollars. So these are just some of the players that have stuck out to me in terms of, like, I don't know best main event performers, if you want to call it that, just you know, they've all had one, if not two, very very deep runs in the modern poker era when field sizes have been massive, and they've all performed extremely well. I don't have Greg Ramer on here, but he won it in two thousand and four, and then in two thousand and five he got like twenty third or twenty fourth or something like that. So incredible back to back years from Greg Ramer. Yeah, overall pretty crazy, right. I don't know who has the record for most consecutive cashes Anymorennie. Well, I know Ronnie got to five and set the record, but I don't know if somebody, like I think somebody might have beat it after that, and I can't remember who it was, Asta Pachenka. It might have been Asta pa chenk. That makes a lot of sense. Yeah, but it's with a asterix. Why because one was the the online one. Well, if they counted, we count it. That's how it works. But I think in this last week or so week week and a half, I think people have really started moving their number up a bit. The number that I'm most often hearing is ten thy two hundred to ten thousand, three hundred in that range. So to me, that's comfortably beating last year's record and setting a new record. So that would be wild. I'm curious to see where it lands. I think we'll get a decent idea depending on what happens on Wednesday. For Day one A, I think it comes over slightly. But I say that mostly because I just feel like a lot of people are playing one A this year. I don't know why, Like maybe it's the rest thing. To be honest, Like, you play, if you get through, you have a few days off you can just kind of chill and do whatever, and then you go from there, right, And I think those days off can play really, really really big dividends if you end up, you know, making day six, making day seven, because it just adds up overall. Not only do you get played Day one A and then you get three days off before you play your Day two, should you make it, you play your Day two as the first day too. Then you get another day off, so space it out pretty nicely. I'm ready for this damn thing to start. It is the biggest, most historic, most prestigious tournament in the world, and we freaking love it. Like one thing I want to add once when most that I forgot. So the plan is the first four days, so the first starting flights, the starting flights for the ws BE main event are going to be on poker go dot com and the poker Go YouTube channel. The field is gonna go on dinner break, and then we're gonna come back to stream from nine pm to one am, which that takes us right to the end of the day, right. Yeah, So that's the plan for each of the first four days. So you're gonna get a two hour chunk five thirty to seven thirty that is Vegas time, yes, and then you're gonna get a second chunk that's a four hour chunk from nine pm to one am, so a lot of fun there. Again, Remco and myself will be in the booth for these first four starting flights. We're gonna be having a rotation of guests and pro players that come in with us. Some will stay for maybe an hour, some will stay for two hours, some might stay for the whole day that we're doing the commentary, So expect a nice rotation of people to be coming on into the commentary booth alongside of us. And then once we move things over to day two, the coverage starts to get expanded a little bit. On the day two's on Day two and on the both day twoes, and also on day three, coverage is gonna start at three thirty Vegas time, three thirty to seven thirty and then nine to one am, so an extra two hours of coverage on those days. And then once we hit day four, we expand coverage even more. We start at one pm, we go to seven thirty, there's a break, we come back at nine, we go to one am. And then of course on day eight, July fourteenth is day eight, we're gonna start at one pm. I mean, as long as the tournament starts on time and you know, they can obviously change the schedule depending on what happens, but plan right now is one thirty to seven thirty pm and then the rest of the day is TBD because we just don't know what's gonna happen in terms of you know, where they're at in the tournaments. That is playdown day to the final table. So if they hit the final table, you know, if they come back with like twenty players and they get down to nine, then we're done. If they need to take a dinner break, come back. You know, we'll be with us all the way until we reach that final table of nine. So you know, of course stay tuned for that to come, and then day off on July fifteenth, and then on July sixteenth and July seventeenth, final table day two parter again, so you know, we'll go nine to I don't know, six, five or four whatever whatever we decide, maybe three and then well, you know, the players will stop the final whatever. Players will bag up. Last year it was three, it was Dan Wyman, it was Steven Jones and it was Adam Walton. They bagged up and came back the next day. So then the next day they'll come back and on July seventeenth, they will finish it out and crown a new world champion.
