I remember a woman thirty years old, forty years ago, 104 00:08:05.399 --> 00:08:09.560 had skin cancer and they wanted to remove part of her nose. He told 105 00:08:09.639 --> 00:08:11.959 oh, it's much better to do surgery, and they cut off the end 106 00:08:13.000 --> 00:08:16.000 of her nose. And I still know her forty years later, without her 107 00:08:16.079 --> 00:08:20.759 nose, without the tip of her nose, and I have other friends and 108 00:08:20.800 --> 00:08:26.000 neighbors, and I've been studying skin cancers for decades. She takes care of herself. And she had a biopsy proven skin cancer there. 142 00:11:05.720 --> 00:11:11.279 And all these skin cancers I'm talking about today are squay miss cells and 143 00:11:11.440 --> 00:11:16.200 basal cell cancers. And this woman had a skin cancer and her doctor wanted 144 00:11:16.200 --> 00:11:22.240 to do radical surgery on that part of her eye lid and dear duck and 145 00:11:22.440 --> 00:11:26.240 nose, and you can imagine, to do that means that she would never 146 00:11:26.480 --> 00:11:31.039 look the same because she'd be losing part of the eyelid, the medio portion 147 00:11:31.120 --> 00:11:35.600 that's the inside portion next to the nose, and part of her nose also, 148 00:11:35.639 --> 00:11:41.159 and part of the tear duck.
