But nobody ever claims that the prophecies against Assyria, Philistia, 120 00:07:48.560 --> 00:07:54.399 or any of the others are metaphors for prehistoric heavenly goings on. So I guess that means that Satan had 138 00:08:58.799 --> 00:09:01.559 a at some point, so that Tyre could have a prince as well. 139 00:09:01.840 --> 00:09:05.200 Right, she doesn't clarify that, but that's what's implied by assuming that the 140 00:09:05.240 --> 00:09:09.360 king of Tire is actually Satan. But that's far from the only problem. 141 00:09:09.480 --> 00:09:13.120 Ezekiel twenty eight comes after two full chapters where the author describes Tire in many 142 00:09:13.120 --> 00:09:16.200 of the same ways that it's described in Ezekiel twenty eight, but in a 143 00:09:16.200 --> 00:09:20.159 context that makes it clear that the accumulated wealth, power, and beauty were 144 00:09:20.159 --> 00:09:24.759 earthly things, describing their trade with other earthly nations. So in chapter twenty 145 00:09:24.759 --> 00:09:28.919 eight, when it says that Tire was a signative perfection, full of wisdom 146 00:09:28.960 --> 00:09:33.279 and perfect and beauty and whatnot, it's a callback to Tire's accumulation of wealth 147 00:09:33.360 --> 00:09:39.639 through mercantile means bight jendizing, michandizing when the real money from the movie is 148 00:09:39.720 --> 00:09:43.039 made. It even makes it explicit and verse sixteen of chapter twenty eight that 149 00:09:43.039 --> 00:09:46.879 it's talking about the abundance of Tire's trade. The reason that these verses are 150 00:09:46.919 --> 00:09:50.440 tied to Satan is because there are a couple places where the author made references 151 00:09:50.440 --> 00:09:52.919 to Eden and the guardian cherubs, saying that the king of Tire was in 152 00:09:54.240 --> 00:09:56.720 Eden as part of a statement about how perfect and beautiful he was, and 153 00:09:56.799 --> 00:10:01.200 refers to him as the guardian cherub placed on the holy Mountain of God. 154 00:10:01.399 --> 00:10:03.440 Modern Christians take this to mean that Satan was one of the Cherubim that guarded 155 00:10:03.480 --> 00:10:07.720 God himself. But Ezekiel is clearly talking about the cherubim that guarded the garden 156 00:10:07.759 --> 00:10:11.559 of Eden after the Fall, and it be more than a little bit weird 157 00:10:11.600 --> 00:10:16.080 for God to appoint Satan to guard the Tree of Life immediately after Satan caused 158 00:10:16.120 --> 00:10:20.600 Adam and Eve to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. Then who was the pharaoh of Ezekiel thirty 164 00:10:39.399 --> 00:10:43.399 one, who is likened to the trees of Eden being told that he will 165 00:10:43.440 --> 00:10:46.919 be brought down into Shiel along with Babylon, who is the greatest of the 166 00:10:46.919 --> 00:10:50.480 trees of Eden. The author of Ezekiel used imagery from the Garden of Eden 167 00:10:50.559 --> 00:10:54.600 as a metaphor for great and powerful people and nations several times, so why 168 00:10:54.600 --> 00:10:58.919 do we only take it literally once? I imagine that these are details that she got from her 185 00:12:01.200 --> 00:12:05.120 many visions, as she doesn't even attempt to tie any of this fanfic narrative 186 00:12:05.159 --> 00:12:07.960 to anything that can be found in the Bible. The whole reason humanity supposedly needs Jesus 190 00:12:22.360 --> 00:12:26.840 is because even the slightest sin against God is worthy of eternal torture in hell. 191 00:12:26.360 --> 00:12:31.600 And yet God tried to give Satan a second chance. He already felt 192 00:12:31.679 --> 00:12:35.879 jealousy and pride. According to her narrative, those are sins. Sins must 193 00:12:35.879 --> 00:12:39.519 be punished with an eternity in hell. But not only did Satan get a 194 00:12:39.519 --> 00:12:43.600 second chance, God actually kept him on as his right hand man, allowing 195 00:12:43.679 --> 00:12:46.399 him to spread discontent among the angels. And at this point in the fanfic 196 00:12:46.559 --> 00:12:50.279 we get a really telling admission. The law of God is anti liberty. 197 00:12:50.559 --> 00:12:54.639 Quote. He suggested that these laws were unnecessary and held them back since their 198 00:12:54.759 --> 00:12:58.200 natures were holy. He urged that angels should follow their own wills. He claimed he 200 00:13:01.759 --> 00:13:05.240 was not trying to exalt himself, but was seeking to win liberty for every 201 00:13:05.279 --> 00:13:09.600 being in heaven so that each one could reach a higher level of existence. 202 00:13:09.200 --> 00:13:13.000 Now I'm sure she'd answer with the typical true liberty is becoming a slave to 203 00:13:13.080 --> 00:13:16.720 Christ, thing that Christians are so fond of saying. After Satan conspired to spread lies about God himself among the angels, 209 00:13:37.360 --> 00:13:41.840 she says God was patient with Lucifer. He did not remove him from 210 00:13:41.879 --> 00:13:45.159 his honored position, even when he began to make false claims to the angels 211 00:13:45.519 --> 00:13:48.679 again and again, God offered him pardon if he would repent and submit. 212 00:13:48.919 --> 00:13:52.240 Why does Satan get forgiveness for simply repenting and submitting while a human has to 213 00:13:52.240 --> 00:13:56.759 accept a human sacrifice before forgiveness is even on the table.
