Circle that a second time. God 45 00:03:30.639 --> 00:03:36.159 is the god of second chances. God loves to give us second chances, 46 00:03:36.199 --> 00:03:40.240 third chances, fourth chances. He gives us many many chances because of his 47 00:03:40.360 --> 00:03:45.599 grace and his mercy. No way, If you were God, would you give Jonah 50 00:03:55.879 --> 00:04:03.080 another chance? Probably not. But God loves to give second chances. She gets 60 00:04:46.519 --> 00:04:49.759 a second chance and ends up being in the family tree of Jesus. God 61 00:04:49.879 --> 00:04:56.199 uses her. Samson wasted his talent and ended up in prison. God give 62 00:04:56.279 --> 00:05:00.519 him, gave him a second chance. Nobody likes Zachiaz, and yet Jesus gave him a 69 00:05:30.720 --> 00:05:36.519 second chance. Now, God gives everybody chances over and over and over and 70 00:05:36.600 --> 00:05:40.439 over. This is amazing grace of God that anybody who refuses to admit 97 00:07:51.000 --> 00:07:54.639 his mistakes, you're never going to be successful. Another Mulligan verse in the Bible is 99 00:08:00.399 --> 00:08:03.800 the next verse on your Outline, Lamentations, chapter three, and in chapter 100 00:08:03.839 --> 00:08:07.600 three, Verse twenty two and twenty three of Lamentations, it says this, 101 00:08:09.240 --> 00:08:13.759 the unfailing love of the Lord never ends. In other words, God's never 102 00:08:13.759 --> 00:08:16.360 going to stop loving you. You can't make God stop loving you because his 103 00:08:16.439 --> 00:08:20.680 love is based on who he is, not what you do. When Jonah finally gets another chance, 117 00:09:37.799 --> 00:09:41.440 he gets a mulligan, he does five things. Now in that verse. Again, we've 163 00:13:05.399 --> 00:13:09.000 covered this before, but I want to reinforce it. Three ways you express 164 00:13:09.080 --> 00:13:13.440 deep gratitude to God. Write these down three ways. Number one, I 165 00:13:13.600 --> 00:13:16.960 sing my thanks to God. That's first thing, Jonah says, because I'm 166 00:13:16.960 --> 00:13:22.200 going to sing my thanksgiving to you. Singing is a spiritual act of being 167 00:13:22.240 --> 00:13:24.919 grateful to God. You don't have to be on key, you don't have 168 00:13:24.919 --> 00:13:30.679 to have the right note. You just make a joyful noise. Psalm ninety 169 00:13:30.679 --> 00:13:33.960 two, verses one and two says it's good to say thank you to the 170 00:13:35.000 --> 00:13:37.360 Lord. It's good to say thank you the Lord and to sing praises to 171 00:13:37.440 --> 00:13:43.200 him every morning, tell him thank you for your kindness. We recommit ourselves every week saying God, really, I belong 212 00:16:47.840 --> 00:16:51.000 to you, and so whatever you want to do with my life, that's 213 00:16:51.039 --> 00:16:56.039 cool, whatever you want.
