Okay, his number was twenty three, Okay, I'd bet so It's kind of like a troll one hundred and sixty players remain teny one and twelve began this journey towards Poker's next World Champion and ten million dollars. Stevens. Song looks to be the chip leader team DPMC making a late surge at Fantasy Let's Go Song Baby. Carlos called us very very close to Song on the leaderboard. We're gonna run through what happened in the main event today, talk about some of these storylines that are developing. We have some interviews coming up. I spoke with Nicholas Astet I believe it. I mean I probably butchered it. I spoke with Leana nine hundred. How about that. I also spoke with Daniel Anderson aka d Mongro. He spoke with Arthur Morris, and then Jeff Platt caught up with Stephen Song. So we'll play that interview for you as well. Fun day of poker. How many How many players are left? One sixty they no no. At the beginning of the day, how we started with four sixty four? Four sixty four, Okay, seems like a pretty uh efficient day in terms of like thinning the field. Yeah, Song crushed today he won a huge with two pair, got a player to call him on with ace high, which was a very good hand, and then kind of towards the end of the nights he won a big hand with aces I believe it went raised call Song three abouts small blind, the original raiser called. I believe it was ten seven to five, Rainbow was the flop turn was a four. River was a seven. On the turn, Song check raised his opponent and then Song jammed the river. His opponent had Jack's and tanked forever, I mean multiple minutes. Finally, I think it was Arthur Morris who came back to the table and called the clock and the player an Rees Adam Cavisius. I probably totally butchered that. I'm sorry. I believe he's from Good believe he's from Lithuania. Eventually he calls, I mean, this is a sixth spot because it's Stephen Song. Like he's in there with a lot of different hands a lot of times. I mean, the guy is a very creative player, can certainly open up the ranges, especially when he has a big stack like he has. But here he happened to have the rockets. Eventually, Anars pays him off, sees the bad news, and he's out the door, and that vaults Song up over twelve million of chips. He then goes on to finish out the day with twelve million, three hundred and ten thousand and the chip lead. Entering day six of the WSP Made Event, I believe his best finish is eighty third in the WSP Main Events, eighty fifth maybe something like that. I think he said two prior cases in the World Series of Poker Main event does Stephen Song And after the play wrapped up, Jeff Platt caught up with him. So let's kick it to that interview right now. Stephen Song entered day five as the chip leader ended day five as at least one of the chip leaders. What is going so well for you in this an? Honestly, everything's just working perfectly. I'm obviously getting a ton of really good hands, and for some reason, I just like always get paid for like the max. It's it's pretty sweet. I mean a lot of it's just coolers too, So it's like nothing anyone can really do. But yeah, sometimes when you're hot, you're hot, you know, do you think you're Perhaps more aggressive playing style does lead to some people not believe in you at certain spots. Perceived aggressive playing style, you know, that's uh perceived. Yeah, yeah, so it's nice when I got a value him. You know, when do the nerves start to creep in if they haven't already, Yeah, I don't know, it hasn't yet. I've gotten like eighty third before, so like approaching beating my old record. But I assume like even as soon as it hits the top hundred, it's gonna start to feel real, you know, like and then I mean if it has a hit by like I mean I assume will hit before. But final three table redrop, like that's that's just saying it and Finally, I know your parents have come to your final tables before. Do they get the call out here or not quite yet? Well not yet, We'll like give it a couple more days, but this still a fuck with the days left of the tournament, all right? Lena came into the day with I believe it was three hundred and eighty thousand, ran it up to bag seven point nine million, feeling good. Crushing. Nicholas is a long, long, long time online player under the screen name Leana nine hundred. That's why we're saying. Nicholas is out of Sweden, and then you know, in recent years he's been diving into live poker a bit more, been playing some of the big buy and stuff. He's been playing some of the stuff on the Trenton Poker Series. You know, he hops in some European Poker Tour events and then of course he comes over for the World Series of Poker as well. But yeah, he had a very successful day on day five and he's entering day six with I believe a top ten stack, so very good day for Nicholas and I spoke to him briefly afterwards. All right, Nicholas, first things first, I mean, how do you feel your day? Ones? Very bad, very bad. I started every three hundred and eighty thousand, I have eight million, and of course amazing, amazing day. How comfortable are you playing live poker these days now? Very much so, especially in this type of field. Do you feel like people know who you are, maybe played differently against you. Are you still under the radar? It's hard to tell sometimes seeing Europe, obviously everyone knows, but here's hard to tell us. I kind of need to be on my toest. But yeah, most people know, not time I without them. So one hundred and sixty players left in the main events. How excited are you for this opportunity? Pretty excited? This is fun, this is said, and everyone is so excited. It makes me excited, So yeah, I like him. And then who would you talk to? Poka Go podcast pro Athamas. He was abag two point one killing. He was all the way down, it came all the way back up. He doubled through. Our our buddy Stephen Song, our twenty five K player Ace Queen for Arthur Morris Queen Jack for Stephen Song. I saw him afterwards and he said, first time I was all in all tournament, first time, like the helmis, you know, that's what that when people say it, I mean, yeah, for sure, he said. He never said I'm all in. You don't think during the whole tournament. No, but like all in and cold, like actually at risk and you're the shortest stack, et cetera. You know, like, yeah, you can move all in, but if you're not called then you're not ultimately all in, right and even if you do go all in, you know you're not at risk. So like he means all in and at risk, right, which, to be honest, I mean that happens a lot of times in tournaments. I experienced that as well. You know, you know, sometimes it's like it's just the last hand that's when you're all in and at risk. But if you do kind of run deep or whatever in any sort of tournament. Yeah, you know, you probably had some success. You probably ultimately were never all in and at risk. But anyway, you spoke with him, Yeah, I spoke to him, all right. So let's kick it to that interview now, Tim and Arthur Morris sent me. He with Utha Mars. He's through to day six of the WSB main event, bit over two million. You got to tell us how it feels to be the first poker Go podcast pro through the day six of a main event. It feels good, man. It was a crazy day. I got down as shallow as one hundred and thirty five k at sixty k, big bye. At the end of the night, I actually had an absurd spot where I'm supposed to jam. I have a say. They sayed a spade. I said, the clubs one two, I can't remember. In the small blind and it's opened Steven's Song's opening like every single hand I look over. In the Big Wine, Big Wine is basically checked out of the pot. But I actually think he's gonna call. If I call and I get laid a better price, I think just bring him in and my tournament isn't on the line. If I jam this hand, I go broke. Stephen bust me if you like, told me later his hand Like, I just go broke. But I have two blinds left and I was able to spend that to two point one million at the end of the night. It's like home, youthy and almost to it was bears. I don't know. It's like really nitty and felt weird to be playing three blinds for so long. Yeah, it's pretty cool. Day one. We put you on the feature table. I gave you a hat, I gave you a hoodie. You haven't taken it off. It's it's lucky bro' that's what he said. I taking this shit off. It's going all the way. Like, as long as I'm in this event, it's on. That's good to know. Dice six coming up, you know, twelve hours time. How do you feel mentally just heading into the intoday six? You know, M and y is I feel pretty good? My mental I think, is in a good place too. Like I'm gonna come in with like sixty percent average, which you know isn't isn't ideal, But you're in and the blinds are high, and I'm very comfortable with the big ones I do have. I feel really good. I've had some tougher ish tables. I feel like on day four and five and looking around the room, like, you know, maybe we get a lucky table, drum me, we have some good things break our way, maybe we get run above. You know, at standard deviations on hand distribution, things could break positively in a lot of ways, and you know, one or two things go right. You just you know, you got to put your chips in a hurry. It's fast at these stages, so you know, you kind of just take it. You take a step back and play hand by hand. If you start thinking about big picture, how much the money you're playing for is, or you know, I want to do this, I want to do that. You can't play with ego. You got to just sort of like come in, respect the players, and respect the game, and pray and you hope things go right. Final question for me, a legendary PLO playoff and you hear making it a deep run in a two cod game is the reason you're running deep only to build a bankgroua to play me heads up in every other game out of the planet. I can't fucking wait to play some studden rats with you. Tim. It's gonna be a blood bath for once for a year. It might be me, but it's going to be awesome. So yeah. I mean, look that I play mostly plow, but I do get in the streets and all the other games too. And No Limit Hold Him was actually the first game I learned. It just took a long break from it. I've always studied it and thought about it and enjoy it. It's just in this kind of a platform, and uh, you know, with this much audience and eyes onya, It's it's a lot of fun. It's a snowball effect. I said this earlier at our table. But the deeper you go in this tournament, the more fun it is. There's no there's no tournament like that where it starts off kind of lame and like dusty and like slow, and then every day it just gets grows and grows and grows and gets like an avalanche of fun. Is he ever going to take the hat off? Not? Never said he's not taking off. He's good, take colder the lucky hut. It's the lucky Hut. He did take the sweatshirt off for a little bit. I think most because it was a little bit toasty up under those bright lights, which I don't understand. We know the lights are hot. No, no, no, it's not that this is a this is the thing with us production. The lights are hot. Okay, I mean I know how high the ceiling is in here. Can't you just have like ac way up top of the ceiling just pumping air down like at those like at those tables that they then moved and don't have tables there anymore, which are very cold, like, So can't you have like that type of ventilation coming from above? Do you think? I mean I don't because what what somebody will probably say to me is, well, then it's too loud. Yeah, but they're so high that I don't think it would matter. Okay, We've tried to get those those cold tables redirected the air or turned down, and we haven't. So do you really think we can get more air above the beach? I don't know. No, the answer is not. We actually have discussion today about getting spending some money to get the different lights that are not as hot. Well, that's another thing, is it's you know, it's twenty twenty four. I feel like they would have lights that aren't as hot. It's also I also don't often sit at the feature table. I also know I wouldn't like it either. I also don't understand why the feature tables are so big. I don't. I don't get that. You mean like the physical size. Yeah, the size of them, like none of the dealers can reach any of the chips or definite conrad sha. Yeah, that that is one. They're just they're massive. They're so big. It's mainly for you know what. You know, why why are you asking this qu Why tell me why? I know? Why? Go ahead? Because of the wiring for the r F I d No, it's mainly for the angles. Well, okay, get whatever, figure it out. You want to watch the hustle stream, you see, I'm sitting around little jelly bean of a table. They have the they have the Yeah, that's kind of the reason behind the big a table is spacing the players, as you know, rubbing shoulders and touching each other's legs. For the it's for the production. It's literally for I feel like you could like where the dealer sits could be like cut into the table. More that I agree with, you know, like like like so then like in a way, like seats one in nine are almost looking at each other behind the dealer like a background table. Yeah, backroad, it's like a kind of a kidney. Kidney s for sure, because like then, then the dealer can see everything, and I think I like that. I think at least for the main event, we know there's enough cameras that I think they could figure out the angles from there. I ask a lot of questions about production stuff because you no, no, you don't know. You don't come to what if you came to work at twelve o'clock. We had a conversations about this all morning. I will be first to tell you just sit at I'm watch him bluey oh fucking make I was actually watching the stream. I will be the first to tell you definitely want working out. I will be the first I was not working out because I feel like shit and I'm not working out. I will be the first to tell you that I don't know a lot about production stuff, but I will ask questions because I'm curious and I want to know, and there are things that I that don't make sense to me. That Yeah, the only thing I'm ever gonna find out is if I have to ask a question. So I'm gonna ask a question, but there are other things that even when you give me an answer, I will just not agree with. Su I'm the main event. I want to touch on three things real quick. We could see a twenty four million chip part in the first minute on day six because Stephen Sung chip leader is sitting with Carlos carl das the other chip leader. That's the main feature table. Well no, not necessarily. This is one of those things, but I know this is one of those things where I say, I asked a question, why is this not the main feature table? And then somebody gives me some silly answer, and that's wrong. Huh might be the first to break? Who cares? Then figure it out? Like what if it breaks? It breaks? So it breaks in literally one player? Okay, two players? Wait? One sixty left breaks in two players. So here here's the thing. It's the bottom table. I don't know if they're hide a low. I don't know if they load to high. We'll find out tomorrow. Break if they if you don't know the breaking order, because okay, because I'm going to follow up with this one. The other best table, Chris and Fox and Tony dance Brandon can two. That's either the first to break or the last to break. They are the top of the seat draw. It's tables six thirty or six forty nine. That's the top and the bottom. I don't know which breaks first, but one of them are gonna make it. Unless they do, I think, do their own breaking up. I think this is not a production thing, but I think when you get to this point in the main event, the table breaking order should be random. They should draw a table let's. I agree. You should not post the table breaking order beforehand. It should be entirely random. Yeah, Like I think I think that it's it's it's important enough in this tournament because if you know you're next to break, you can start stalling and like and all that sort of stuff. Right, Like, So in this tournament, when there's this much money on the line, I think when you get down to whatever you deem as a manageable amount of tables, you should just like high card. Right, We're just gonna high card for the next table to break, and then you break it. And if that happens to be a feature table, so be it. That's the breaks in a tournament. Yeah, I mean, we're seven off a break that could be ten minutes, could be one. Now you don't know, but yeah, I doubt we'll we'll roll with both of them. But yes, that is going to be pretty appealingly. Another one that that kind of stands out to me that could be interesting, ren Lynn Jonathan to my Danny Tang Jesse caps interesting for sure. I mean, and then there's just a couple that have got something. Bro when you have samm Me the dealer and lean Jesse. Oh, I didn't even see his name. I didn't mention him in the he's how he's out, Well he ain't coming up and the seat joke. You know what does a did not report? Could be him? I mean, look at the look at the payoffs sign up to date. They stop at one ninety too. I think when I last checked him. Come on, Jesse didn't bus he had like six million. Well, so then he must be the did not report. Well, how many chips that did not report have six point nine million? That's the hunter vers on Jesse Long he has zero people on his table. It doesn't matter. Jesse Lows is a g He complained all day about me there, so he took him off for the loss. Okay, what do you mean? He complained all day? This is the kind of thing I have an issue off to the second level of the day. Yeah, so we're going to be up there? Are we going to be up here all day? And I said, we're not sure. Play's the third level of the day up there? Yeah, because that's unfair. One level and move the tables. You can't put people up there for more than one level. I don't care. I don't care if the table has phil Ivy Daniel and ground you and philmon you can't do it. And we're unfair. And he's complaining about who is it? Who are these It's unfair to the table And a part of our job as poker go is to find the stories, cultivate these characters, and see who's going to become the next world champion. That is our job. Okay, So we need to go out there and find the tables and find the players and build the storyline. And it's also an argument to have more than two or three feature tables. We should have six or seven out there. Well, we know the problems with that one. I think that we are actually doing a better job at rotating than we have in the ears past. But I don't have to go check every level. They should change because it's not fair. Again, and if listen, if you're Jesse Lonis and you play, I'm just using him as an example. You play the first level of the day at the feature table, we move your table off, but then you get drawn to the future table again. Well that's that's just yeah, the breaks that that's how it happens, you know. But I think it's just unfair. No, I mean, look, I'm all full rotating. I think we're trying to pretty fail. When it's at one stuff you know, here it's a little different. Understand what they're trying to do. They're trying to get people on those features that people outside of our little bubb will know because you know these are going to CBS, et cetera. But yeah, I think Tooles is fine to be honest at this point of the main events, every we should be yes, we should be trying to make everyone to stop at when once and listen. This is gonna probably sound offensive. Maybe some people get mad, but I'm gonna say it anyway. Once we lost IVY, no one else in this tournament resonates with people outside. I mean, I'm sorry that's how it is. But that said, that is why is our job to tell people who these people are, to create them as stars. You have no idea if there's two hun employers remaining, one of them is world champion, Like we need to find that person. We need to tell those stories as best we can, and I think I think we do a pretty good job of it overall. But the potential is not being reached, is my only thing. Yeah, points, we had a guy who had a heart attack today. I don't know which. I don't even really know if he had a heart attack because when he interviewed with Jeff Platt, it didn't sound like he had a heart attack, like he's wearing his thing is defibrillator or whatever, and it was like going off or going crazy, and so he went to the hospital, but it didn't sound like he had a heart attack, but like everyone made it seem like he had a heart attack. I don't maybe I misunderstood all of that, but the way he talked about it with Jeff Platt was like more like it was an issue with his thing. Yeah, that made it seem like it was something that it was not. And then that's ultimately why they were like, yeah, go go like you can go play. I don't know. That was just very interesting that story that much, to be honest. Oh wow, Okay, I mean what I'm I'm trying to guys like is it really real? I don't know because it just made up of TV. Like he's trying to get some a the time, So like, I don't know, it was just made up for TV. Yeah, I'm not only am, so I'm just kind of ignoring it. So you got your tinfoil hat on like I got. Yeah, I understand, it's half fun. It's just hal listen, I fully understand tinfoil hats are a thing these days. I get it. Oh. I interviewed uh Daniel Anderson d Moon Girl Moon. Afterwards she bagged I think one point seven million. Can you find out how many tips she backed? I think it was one point seven There's at least two women left one point seven two five, one point seventy five. Kristen Foxen look her up and then I think the five point four crushing, and I think the other one was MA first time I saw with an L. I believe formulae and fifty and then I'm not sure if when I got here today there was five women left, so I'm not sure how many of them are left or not. You know, I know those three are left for sure. There might be one more, well, there's there's one or two more. I mean, there could be one lady sitting next to lem I think she bagged. Oh then she got moved there because she wasn't there earlier in the day because there was two women on the other side of the room from where she was sitting, or when I got here. That's obviously a topic of conversation, you know, the women running deep in the main event, possible woman making the final table, all thought of the last woman's standing to care about that announcement? You care about that? That title not really okay. I mean I just think it's I think all. I mean, maybe I'm just not the right person to comment on it because I'm a man and I'm not in that circle. But I mean I think it it's certainly like listen, you're gonna hear it when we talked to Daniel Anderson. I mean, she obviously thinks about it and cares about it, right. I think it's more it's not like to me, it's just not the last woman's say anything. To me, it's more about like just getting one of them to the final table or multiple of them to the final table. Like that's that's the bigger picture thing for me, because because you can get last women's standing and it I mean it could be eight hundredth place, which is like, ye, is that something we're trying to push for or not? You know, I think it's great that we have at least three, if not a couple more down to the final one sixty moving on to day six, so you know, the chance is real. I think it's great. And you know, I don't. I don't. I'm not familiar with the other women's play, but I am familiar with Daniel Anderson and I am familiar with Kristin Vox, and they are very good poker players. And Kristen specifically has the chips. You know. D Moon has one point seven, Kristen has what five point nine or almost six or whatever, So you know, they could certainly make some noise going forward, which I think that's what we really want to hear. I think that thing, you know, the woman making a final table really gets legs when we break into double digits, when we get below one hundred, that's when it like really like we're close, don't get me wrong, but you know we're gonna need a couple hours tomorrow. Once that clock hits ninety nine players left, and then you see how many are remaining, and it's like, oh, okay, we got a shot, you know, so we'll see if it happens. I hope it happens because I think it would be good for poker. But anyway, we've gotten off of this a little bit. But let's let's talk to Dean Moon Girl. I spoke with her at length at the end of day five. Daniel Anderson bagging at the end of day five. Heading to day six, you tweeted a couple of days ago that you were too tired for words. Are you still tired or is the adrenaline just keeping you going? I have a little bit of a second win right now. I'm just kind of like, uh, what the hellidays, It's crazy have been. I've had a lot more fun to sday at my tables, talkative and less frustration, just kind of been like a more of like a slow coast. So I'm feeling good right now, but it is exhausting and I'm sure I'm probably gonna have a hard time getting to sleep tonight because that's what happens. And then tomorrow morning's gonna come to early, and so I don't know, we'll see how I feel it tomorrow. Right now, I feel pretty good that I'm just doped. Good good. You mentioned also on social media playing with a bunch of women at your table earlier in the event, you got to play with Kristen Fox and all day. How was that experience? Maybe not the best experience with her being on your left, but how was it overall? Yeah, No, it was great. I mean I had like such a small stack when she came. I had maybe thirteen to fifteen bigs that it wasn't too bad having around my left because it was like, well, it's just the card's going to be what they're going to be. But no other was like I love it. I love seeing Kristin. I would love to see her go deep in this. I would love to see me and her go deep in this. I like to see more women, and I don't know what the actual percentages are for this year, but it certainly felt like there was more women at the tables I was at throughout these five days, So I think that's awesome. Is that something that you think about, like you being a woman being deep in the main events, you know, there's always that conversation about we going to kind of get one at the final table, Like is that something that you think about during the play or maybe off the table. I mean, I take this tournament one day at a time, so like, yeah, you know, when I'm not actually in the tournament, Yeah, it's like a daydream. That would be like super cool to be like the female kind of ambassador that, you know, bring more women in and make it not such an intimidating or you know, like outlier thing to be a female in the booker world. And I do think it has like since I have started, it's already kind of morphed a lot and it being more like not unusual to see a woman at the table. But yeah, hell yeah, I would love to final table this and reach the masses because I do think, you know, even though it's gotten better, I still think the female market is like hugely untapped and there's a ton of potential and women should play. You're onto day six of the main events, n and sixty players left. How do you stay grounded and not let the moment get too big. This whole tournament, I've just been playing like one hand at a time. And if I'm like proud of myself or any of this whole tournament, it's been that because I feel like in the past have gotten low and then gotten flustered and panicked and whatever, and this tournament I've just like stayed just like full calm and collected. And that's just been to my plan the rest of the tournament not worry about whatever else has, but worry about what I have and what I can do with it. And that has worked to get me to day six. So I don't know, we'll see, maybe I'll maybe it'll make a Day seven and beyond. I'm just gonna take it one hye at a time. Last question, here are you having fun? I am having so much fun? Honestly, I could almost get a little choked up because this is like a poker person Like the energy is just like palpable, and like, you know, I know so many people who played this so many times and not even cash much less made it to like day six. It's just it feels like a privilege and I am soaking it in. Obviously, I want to go very deep. I don't want to knock go. But no matter what is going experience, I'll never ever forget it's been awesome. Sounds like she's having fun going through this. I mean, I'm sure it's I'm sure it's not easy. I mean, obviously the play is probably not easy. But also, like, you know, something that I don't think people maybe talk about too much. I don't know, I don't get the sense that I hear it. Maybe you do, but the time in between, the time when you're on the felt like how long it takes you to go to bed, waking up in the morning, you know, getting ready, Like is your life in order? Like Daniel Anderson is a decent example because she's got a family and kids, and you know, like, so is it just her husband Corey, Like he's figuring everything out for her, which I mean, I'm guessing is probably the case when when you make it to this point of the main events. But yeah, I mean, it's a tricky situation when you have other life stuff. And then of course, you know you want to study your opponents. You want to possibly watch some of the stream. You want to look them up online and see what results they have, or any hands that they played like, you know, all that sort of stuff, and you got to you got to cram it into a pretty small window of you know, about eleven twelve hours or whatever it is, and then you have to do that while also trying to get adequate sleep in there. So I'm sure that's not easy, and it probably leans towards the players who are built for it better, who have experienced it more. You know, they're just in a better position to go through it. Did want to hit on Adrian Matteos and we tease it at the top. But the Conquista Door, I mean, what the conquistador he's online? Man, No, that's what Brent calls him, Brent Higgins, because what's his name? Is the matter Door? They then they named are you like just realizing this now? This has been a thing for like four years. I don't watch the streams. I mean, I'm you know, why don't you just tell us you just don't care? I'm working? Why don't you just tell us what do you do when you're not working? Because I grind poker, groat NonStop one because I don't want to notice be folding queens on an eight high flop. It's a good fun reason to set, you know, also because I like to know who these players are. None of the players are, because I'm standing and talking to them and working alongside them while a lot of rewording. Yeah but listen, I'm just saying you should be grinding everything. You should be grinding it all. He came in as one of the bigger stacks and just blew it. I mean, you can't say say he punted it because he got kings versus aces and folded the turn. Okay, good fold on a queen on a queen high board, which I mean he lost a chunk there. Then he lost aces to Ace King. When the guy made runner runner flush, I mean spade spades flush, he said club No, I said runner run a flush. What the hell? Yeah, it's just very very unlucky. I know. You see, you obviously see beats like this in every tournament, you know, especially deep in tournaments. You know, like I'm sure there was a fair share of you know, nonsense that went on in the Colossus, for example. But because the w SPOO main event is so so so magnified, like it just it resonates so much more, it's so much more out there. So like, yeah, I'm sure somebody might have lost with kings to aces or ran kings into aces and then lost aces to ace king and the colossus for example, like that that might have happened. You know, maybe it maybe it was something even worse. Maybe they maybe they had aces and they got you know, within five hands they had aces. Both times they got cracked and then they were out. Like, yeah, that can happen. But what makes it so crazy the w SPOM event are I think two things. One, the magnification of this event specifically, everything is so much more blown up and understandably so this is the biggest, most important poker tournament in the world, know, and it's being filmed, there's social media, there's all these media members out there in general like everything. And then also like if you're using the Colossus as another example of when this could have happened, the Clausus is basically a shit show. Everyone's got twenty big blinds at the end, like the money's going in right, Yeah, this the structure is so damn good. It's the best structured tournament in the world. So when it just blows up on you, it's just like extra hurtful, you know, because like, what are you gonna do. When you have aces and you just get it in against as King, that's a dream spot. But like you know, in the WSP main event, it's not always it's not always the easiest to get the money in like like that, because the structure is so good and the stacks are so deep. Whereas if you're playing something like a Colossus or even the Monster Stack or any of those deep stack tournaments or whatever it may be, you know, you get into the end. Everyone's got twenty twenty five big blinds, thirty big blinds, So like getting the money in is pretty easy overall. Just get two couple of good hands and get the money in right here. I mean, the stacks are much deeper, which means it's much harder to get the money in. And also people tend to take kind of more conservative lines with things even when you have super premium hands, because you know what can happen, so you navigate things accordingly. You know, you're not just playing like this crazy preflop game. But you know, in Mataosa's case, yeah, they got the money in and he just ran bad. I mean, what are you gonna do? He played super well when he had the kings and was able to get away from him against the aces and then it just blows up on him when he's got the aces and he has the guy with ace king ready to hand him a pile of chips. But you know, what are you gonna do? That is poker. I think he took it and stride. You know he talked with Jeff Platt afterwards in the interview. Yeah, I mean maybe we should just play that right now. Why don't we do that? So let's just play interview with Jeff Plots so I don't have to summarize it. You've been through a lot in your career, all things considered. Does that stand out to you? Is perhaps the worst bad that you've taken? Did you feel pretty locked in, pretty dialed in today? Yeah? I feel like super focused. I think I probably played my best tournament ever, if not the best, probably the best, and doing all the days, all my rids going on point and everything going super smooth and winning every hand. But that spoke at two hands like Kings against Aces and then Aces against King, and the dream is over. The only thing is to keep focus in the next tournaments, in the next hands and try to play my best hand by hand, and I think it's the only thing I can control. And that's my plan. And that's the game we all know and love and even hate a little bit. I love it when we run good, we love it when we run bad.
