Magical practitioner Scott Cunningham, who was just such an amazing 51 00:04:57.079 --> 00:05:01.879 man, wrote in his Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs that magic is the practice of 52 00:05:01.959 --> 00:05:10.399 causing needed change through the use of ours as yet undefined and unaccepted by science. 53 00:05:11.680 --> 00:05:16.360 His notion explores the idea that magic is needed and that change occurs in 54 00:05:16.399 --> 00:05:23.920 a way that defies explanation and scientific theory. I love the idea that we 55 00:05:24.079 --> 00:05:29.199 need magic, and I think we do, at least I certainly do in 56 00:05:29.240 --> 00:05:34.240 my life. I think a willingness to accept and look at something I can't 57 00:05:34.399 --> 00:05:43.079 understand or explain gives me a better connection to the divine. Somewhere along the way in that process, 176 00:16:10.000 --> 00:16:15.919 Ambrosius met a lovely young woman whose father was a kind of a warlord, 177 00:16:15.759 --> 00:16:22.679 and they had a child together, and that illegitimate son was hidden away by 178 00:16:22.799 --> 00:16:27.799 his mother, the British noble woman, and Ambrosius went on to do his 179 00:16:27.879 --> 00:16:33.720 battle work with his younger brother Uther. Well.
