I guess we'll discuss what we've been up to. I gave a quick overview there, but we'll get into it a little bit. Triton Poker Series London wrapped up. Brin Kinney making waves at the top of the all time money list. Jason Coon continues to crush. We got details on Thesop Paradise schedule. We talked about the announcement of that series on a previous episode. Well guess what the events are out its high stakes duels coming up this month. We are recording this by the way, on Tuesday, August fifteenth. High stakes duel coming up later this month. Daniel and Grand New versus Doug polk We've got some stuff running on poker Go. We're gearing up towards Poker Masters coming in September. So a lot of things going on. Even though I don't know it seems like the whole poker world is died down post WSP, I think we're now very much getting into the swing of things. Tell me what we've been doing? Oh yeah, it wasn't on the rundown, so I skipped it. Well, you've been playing the South Point nightly. You traveled to Hawaii. You weren't anywhere where the fires were, were you? I don't know, No, I think I was. Well that was a couple of weeks after I got back. No, I just I just didn't know if you were like in that area. Terrible things happening over spent some time in Hawaii. I flew my dad up from Australia, and yeah, very cool, we were. I was actually as a surprise, right, Yeah, yeah, well I was surprised to the rest of the family. I was waiting, you know. We got there about whatever at twelve o'clock, which was really three o'clock Vegas time. Kids were hungry. I told the wife and the kids go to this random pizza place that was around the corner. It's the first thing we kind of saw, so they went there. I'm waiting in the registration line and my dad comes up and he's like, hey, you know, so we you know, hug and say whatever, and I said, by the way, they're at the restaurant. Do you want to just go and meet them while I try and check us in. He's like okay, So he goes to surprise them. I get a text from my wife it's like, oh my god, we just bumped into your dad. This is crazy, and I was just like sarcastically, like, oh my god, it's so crazy. Anyway, so I meet the eat some quick food, we go up to our room and Dad goes to his room. I said, Dad, bring the gifts and then we'll go to the pool. Basically, he brought like fifteen boxes of shapes. If anyone knows that it's just an Australian snack that me and the kids love. Comes to the room with a bag full of this, and like a thing of Lego for Caleb and a bunch of you know, sand castle making toys for the beach. And my wife's like, wait, do you guys plan this? And I'm like no, he just magically flew from Australia to the one hotel in the busiest part of the city that he's magically also staying out. Yeah, of course we plant this thing. Of course you did. But yeah, Hawaii was great, spend a long time by the pool, ate way too much food. It's good to be back in the zone, back at work, back in Vegas. Ready to you know, make a run at the rest of the year. And how about you had a kid? Yeah? Second, And that's been my life the past week. It's been fine. So far, so far, so good. Yea, but yeah, you know, just kind of chilled out post a sap at home and then yeah, I got into the stuff. How is Demi bought a new car? That's another life life force me to buy a new consin what's the life achievement? I guess is that a life achievement? The buying the car I bought is a life achievement. Okay, I'm happy. So yeah, he brought a mast everybody I wish. How is Demi having a brother? She loves it. First, she comes to the hospital this this next day, I think it was the next day or no, later that day, I can't remember what happened, and she wanted to hold the baby, so yeah, we let her, although I was kind of helping her. And then there's other people there and they wanted to hold a baby too, So I was like, Okay, Demi like you know, time for the She's like, no, my baby, she like pulled him away from me. She's super protective whenever I pick her up from school. Now with moms still recovering, you know, she's always like, time to go see baby brother. Time to go see baby brother. She loves it. So so yeah, she's she like helps when we change diapers. She's like, oh, he wants his paste. O, he's hungry. Oh like so so far, so good. But she's been a terror and the other aspects of life. I think it was like the second night, she woke up crying in the middle of the night. So I go in there. I'm like, what's wrong. She's like, I want baby brother. It's like four in the morning. I separate rooms. Yeah, separate rooms. So yeah, but I mean everything's been good, so I can't complain there all right. Triton Poker Series London, What the heck happened over there? And there's like seventeen events, lots of money, lots of people want stuff. I tried to tune into a lot of it, so I you know, I think Dan and Legrand new Share shared this take on Twitter. I agree with it, is like it's just kind of good to be able to wake up with this stuff taking place over in London. You wake up here in Vegas like six seven am and this is on, Yeah, and it's live astreament, so it's it's good in that regard. There was sixteen heard there were sixteen total events or fifteen total events because they don't have number four due to good that number being unlucky for the Asian population, as you know, why don't they make the isn't eight lucky? So why don't they make like the best event eight, like the main event eight? Well, like, why wasn't eight the lux and invitation on instead of it being nine? That's a good point. Yes, well it's yeah, it's technically the eighth event of the series, but it's called event nine. They do weird things because they have a forty k mystery bounty. Why not Why have a forty k if they really don't like the number they have seven handed and eight handed? Everything should just be eight handed. Everything's eight handed. That's the best way to do it. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I think I think the the eight handed thing. Every first price should end in eight eight eight, like the luck I mean, I think in general, like poker tours everywhere should be moving to eight handed. I understand you're going to run into some capacity stuff in the early stages of bigger field tournaments. That said, I think transitioning to eight sooner. Just trying to make eight as much of the norm as possible, I think should be a thing. So, you know, I think that it would help if you know, Tridon did that, It would help if we did that, you know, which you know we do or we do seven or what seven? Yeah, So just making it more of the norm to not cram ten people around the poker table is just good. And I think that the industry leaders that that has that trickled down effect. So anyway, that's my little talk on that event number one twenty five k Nolan would hold them GG millions, So that is of course a Tridan event and partnership with GG Poker. Luke Greenwood one of the three Greenwood brothers, winning it All for almost nine hundred thousand. Then you had Fader Holts winning two events back to back. He won there, you don't think that's correct. I think I missed them. Wow, Tim just screwing things up. You know what's funny is I read the Rundown. Yeah, and I was like, I know one one, but I'm pretty sure he didn't win two. I think that's supposed to be Espen George Dad when it is six thirty nine, right, Yeah, yeah, the won one event that mister Bounty. Yeah exactly. You're just you know, the former main event champ, Tim Big we have finger two chaps. It's just absolutely unbelievable, Espen. If you're listening, it was not Donnie's fault, it was Tim's fault. Okay, So Fader Holds only won one event, not two. He won the twenty five k Nolan hold him seven handed for six hundred and ten thousand. Then the mystery Bounty was won by Espen George Dad six hundred and thirty nine thousand. I think it's pretty cool overall to see Espen having some success in these larger buying tournaments. After he won the Uspman event four ten million dollars, he came out and said, you know, he hopes to take his talents to you know, the high roller and super high roller scene selectively, of course. And he did play a lot of stuff over in London for this Triton Poker Series event, and it's good to see him have some success. I think he had another big score or maybe another couple big scores throughout one, like you know, three million something dollars or total from the series. So so yeah, olish Emion, he's back. He had a kid like a couple of months ago or a year ago or something like that. But he won the fifty k Nolan hold Him eight handed for one point three five million. Then you have mister Triton himself. Jason Kuhne wins it again. How many titles does he have now? Triton titles like seventeen. So he wins the sixty k Nolanman hold Him seven handed event for one point five seven million dollars. Then you had a two hundred k no limit hold him. Now they had three massive events. They had the two hundre k Nolan Hold Them which is this one. They had the two hundred fifty k lux And Invitational, which will touch on in a little bit, and then they had one hundred and twenty five k main event for this two hundred k Nolman Hold Him. It was David Yan winning it all for just over three million. He did a deal. Was it three handed deal? It seems like it was my math says, yes, three handred deal. You don't see them any deals on Tridon. I don't know why I feel that way, but I feel that way. Nacho Barbarrow, the Year of Nacho continues three point four four million dollars and then espen George had two point seven six million dollars for his share of that win. Very well done by those guys, massive, massive scores. There thirty k turbot bounty, Pedro Garighani four hundred fifty nine thousand dollars for the win. There two hundred fifty k lux On Invitational. How many entries in this thing? So this is the one where you have to Only VIPs can play. However they classify those VIPs. It's a little bit weird because Eric Washson was a VIP, which is just weird. Okay, So then those VIPs can in turn invite pros. Do you have to invite a pro? Like? Could I just play as a VIP and not invite anyone? So I'm just the one off? Is that possible? I don't know if that's I don't know if that's ever being brought up before, or is it like you have to invite someone you have to be a VIP in order to play, and then you have to invite someone. I'm curious about that because why wouldn't you Why wouldn't you just not invite someone? Why would you need to feel hard? I think the reason is is because I'm my guess is a lot of these pros get they invite with some kind of kickback. Well, yeah, of course, you know you're if I'm a VIP, I'm gonna invite I don't know whoever. You know, I'm gonna invite Danne on the grinder. You know I'm gonna be like, Okay, Daniel needs to get the invite. I need twenty five. You know that's how this is gonna work. Okay, you know, I don't I don't know what those numbers are, but you know, I imagine that's how they go. Ninety one entries, twenty seven re entries in this thing. Bryn Kenny, we know that name from topping some absolutely massive events in poker. He won that Triton poker one million pound buying second. He took second, but he got more money. Sorry, he took second, but he got more money. My apologies. And since then he's kind of been bouncing around between one and two, him and Justin Bottom have been going back and forth on top of the all time money list. Well, with this victory six point eight six million dollars for bryn Kenny, he's back on top of Poker's all time money list by quite a margin, by about three million dollars, you know, three point one million dollars something like that, you know, overtaking Justin Bonnomo. So he's got sixty five million in change. He moves up to the top spot on the all time money list. Justin Bontemo has sixty one point nine five million, He's in second. That said, while the gaps like three million or so, I mean, that's like one score for Justin Bontimo, So it could happen at any time. I'll get back into bryn Kenny in just a little bit, but I want to touch on some of these other events first. As part of the Triton Series twenty five k Polo Seth Gottlieb five hundred and eleven thousand dollars for winning that one. I'm only Palo event on the schedule too. Yeah, and they don't have have they ever had Peel events. They've had some Cyprus one it's just like Nolan and hold him and see Walds okay one hundred and twenty five k main event Timothy Adams four point one eight five million dollars for Timothy Adams. Just an absolute crusher. Whenever I think of Timothy Adams, I just get bummed out that he doesn't play in the US more often. Like that's like, I just think he's such a supreme talent. Believe he's living in Finland now with his girlfriend Canadian. Originally just an absolute crusher. But you know, we know how the the outside world treats those American taxes in poker. So he just says, you know, f that I'm not going there's gonna win every event possible elsewhere in the world. That's what he does. Four point one five million here, okay, the event number twelve sixty K Nolan Holdham Turbo, I think we know this name, Phil Ivy one million, seven thousand dollars takes it down. Then you had a vent number thirteen sixty K Nolan Holdham eight handed. Danny Tang another another person I would put up there as mister Triton himself. One point six million dollars for Tang, not that many short deck events. This time it seems to be getting less and less. Maybe it's slowly losing its popularity. So the first of the three short deck events, there was a thirty K short deck, there was a sixty K short deck, and then there was a twenty five K short deck. The thirty K short deech was won by hy Young for three hundred and fifty k. Then the last two events we had repeat winners from this series. Sixty K short deck was Jason Kohn. So Jason Kohn one, the sixty K Nolman hold him seven handed for one point five seven million. Now he wins the sixty K short deck for eight hundred and twenty eight thousand. That is what number nine, yes, number nine, his Triton title number nine. And then the twenty five K short deck was won by Phil Ivy two hundred and eighty thousand dollars for phil Ivy. Ivy of course one what we just mentioned, that's sixty k Nolan hold on Turbo for a million. Then he wins this for two hundred and eighty k. All right back to the all time money list for a little bit, and you know, most notably Bryn Kenny so he's now back to number one. Sixty five million, thirty six thousand is his new total according to the hendenmob dot com. Then you have Justin bonmo in second sixty one million, nine hundred and fifty six thousand. There are some big events coming up on the schedule, you know, there's some Triton stuff that's going to happen throughout the rest of the year. There's you know, twenty five k's and fifty k's is part of Poker Masters. There's a super high roller role that's coming up not to you know, a month and a half or so away. You know, you have all the wit Be Paradise stuff, you have the wind stuff. So there's a pretty good chance that you could see Justin Bottomoll retake this number one spot before twenty twenty three comes to a close. Two more movers, both of them moved up one spot. So Stephen Chidwick jumped up from fourth to third fifty one? Does that make sense? That doesn't make sense to me. Who was third? Who was nan third? So he drops down to fifth? Oh yeah, so he went fourth? Yeah, sorry, I'm an idiot. That's my fault. Stephen Chitwick goes up to third, fifty one million, seven hundred and fifteen thousand. Jason Kuhne is up into fourth fifty one million, two hundred nineteen thousand, and then Danil mcgranni slips back down to fifth place fifty one million, seventy seven thousand. So you had Bryn Kenny jump up a spot to number one, you had Justin Bottomoll slide down spot to number two. You had Stephen Chitwick go from fourth to third, you had Jason Kuhne go from fifth to fourth, and then Daniel mcgranni dropped from third down to fifth. So I know to grow on you. Every time these Triton Poker series are on, he always talks about how he has fomo. I mean, when's he gonna go, Like, just go on, let's just go one time, one time. I listen and try it in Las Vegas if that ever happens. But I don't think that's ever gonna happen. I mean, listen, I understand that Daniel doesn't like to do a lot of traveling these days. I'm pretty much on the same camp did my traveling for a lot of years, and now I'm kind of over and enjoy my house, my own bed, my couch, all that sort of stuff, my family, et cetera. What I will say and then you could probably uh echo these sentiments, is if Daniel and his wife Amanda have aspirations of having any children, do the traveling now, yeah, you know, like head over to Triton now, because once the kids come, good game, see you later. So, you know, heading over to to one of those events, I think that would be a cool I mean, he's gonna go to w to Be Paradise right in December. I think he has to Gigi poker. Yeah, well he's going to Paradise, yes, but that is a I think maybe an easier trip than some of these trying events like London and career or wherever the next time. But he also always goes over to Roswodov a lot, you know, which I don't think is the easiest. I think he cares more about chasing bracelets than Trinton titles, so that's the reason he goes to Roswodov. I'm sure we'll get to a message from Daniel on what I'm about to say, But how about wait, how about Triton. I think I think I think Daniel cares about everything, like yes, like he just wants all the accolades like it's it's very much in a lot of ways, like a like a video game to him. He wants to be like this, He wants to be the all time money leader. He wants like all this sort of stuff, like just like kind of checking off the boxes. Yeah, that's what I would say his kind of like goal is. I mean, I don't think it's like gonna you know, he's gonna uproot his life to achieve that sort of stuff. But it's good to you know, have all those things. If Triton has a puniship with gg GG is based in Canada, oh yeah, gg is based in Canada. But but why of a nightmare? Has the tax implications in Canada for high rollers? Couldn't tell you that should be explored. Yeah, that should probably be Montreal. It's coming. I mean, I think Triton would have a better chance of going to like somewhere in the Caribbean or you know, oh yeah, yeah, like the Virgin Islands or something like that. I mean, I don't know for sure, but yeah, all right. So Brent Kenny is also a top the Triton All Time money list with thirty seven million, seven hundred and fifty seven thousand dollars. He's got three wins at eleven cashes. Jason Kuhne, with those nine Triton victories, he is the most decorated Yeah, most decorated Triton Poker player of all time. Will we ever see Phil Helmy ever played a Triton event over under over under point five Triton events played by me in his poker career go over over? Yeah, that number is two large, mean he's only gonna play one, of course. Yeah, I would take If you said the line of Tryton wins, I'd probably still take over zero point five two. I have no idea because we don't know what the way the future of Tryton is, whether the future of the poker industry is in ten years, Trying could be the World Series, could be everywhere. We don't know. I think you have to bet the others who else? All right? Jason Kuhne won the Ivan Leou Player of the Year award, so he won the award for season two of the Triton Poker Series, and he's currently leading the season three leaderboard ahead of Phil Ivy, Bruno Volkman, Chris Brewer, and Danny Tang. Jason Kuhne has those most wins in Triton poker history nine wins. He also has thirty eight cashes. He's second on the Triton Poker all time and money list of twenty five point four million dollars in winnings. He's second, of course to the man I just mentioned that is Brent Ken with thirty seven point seven Triton poker winning. So that's going to wrap it up for Triton. I think they have what Money Carlo coming up? I mean, I don't know, there's I know what they have coming up. They have interesting, interesting, interesting stops. You know that they go to They go to Cyprus, you know, they go to they went to Vietnam. They just went now to London. So you know they're not going to like kind of all the normal places. I guess you would say, I mean Triton if they do Traiton money Carlo, that just makes sense. I mean Money Carlo is just the richest of the rich. They haven't announced any stops publicly. How many did they have a year, like four or five? Four pust season? I think, yeah, I mean I like what, Yeah, it's good, it's good stuff. It's good to have a player like this in the industry. So yeah, all right, Basit Paradise. The schedule is out. Can you please tell me what we have? What do you what do you want to know? I want to know this guy. Fifteen events, fifty one million dollars, every one of those fifteen's bracelet right, yes, correct? Ye, okay correct. So fifteen gold bracelet events coming in December, December third through fifth. Although the first one is like kind of isn't it kind of tricky? It's like an online but second one million. Yeah, so there's going to be a bunch of flights during the upcoming GG series where they're going to qualify the final hundred players. They're going to bag their chips. Virtually, they're gonna get win a package to come to the Bahamas and resume the tournament live and play out. That technically event to on the WSP Paradise schedule, but I like that stuff. They also have two other online events, a two K Mystery Bounty Plow and then a one K freeze out. But highlights of this event, without a doubt, the fifteen million dollars guarantee five K main event and the ten million dollar Arte twenty five K GG Millions High Rollers Championship. They're going to be massive qualifiers for both huge field and I think that's what's gonna draw people traveling to the Bahamas and opting to you know, do I want to play the win? Do I want to go to Paradise? I think those two events what will convince people to make that trip. Yeah, I mean this obviously, the ones that stick out are the ones that you just mentioned. That that main event and also this twenty five k GG Millions high Rollers Championship with that, with that ten million dollars guarantee on the prize pool, that's Foeigner entries. Yeah, I mean that's huge for a twenty five k. Now, of course, the you know the best twenty five k of all time was the PSBC, correct, right, So, but I mean Fourigner entries for our twenty five k is incredible. That's what they're guaranteeing. I'm guessing they're going to get there. I mean, I think, you know, gig Poker is going to do everything in their power to qualify people and make sure that they go. And I think they'll miss a single guarantee. I think they'll hit them all. I'm not saying they're gonna ye. It's it's it's tricky because you know, you and I know, like when you peel back the curtain how this stuff works. Okay, So let's say they hit every single guarantee by five percent. Okay, so they're over. They can still lose a ton of money on the series, because it costs a lot of money to go down to the Bahamas and put this event on, So you know, you have to factor all that sort of stuff. And of course you know you'll make money on the front end with you know, the satellite qualifiers and all that sort of stuff, the rate you generate from the online satellites and blah blah blah. So you know, we'll see overall what happens with this event. I think from where I stand, and I have no idea if this is going to happen in years going forward, or if this is just a one off for this year. But it'll be deemed just as if they bring it back in twenty twenty four, and then if they don't, I would guess that they just didn't see it as as much of as success as they needed to to continue it. I mean, I don't know, it's not like they think they're just a one off. Well, because so when the WPT World Championship announce their thing with the win, they announced three years, three years. Yeah, okay, this is has not been announced to my knowledge. You can correct me if I'm wrong, but pass this year? Has it? So? Is this like a we're going to try it out, see how it goes, and then we'll go from there. Is that how they're gonna take this or is it just always gonna was it always going to be a one off event? You know, we're all gonna do this one year and then we'll go from there. Look, if we look at past experience, we have WSOP Asia Pacific, they do that twice. Obviously, Europe has been running since what is it, two thousand and seven, two thousand and eight, so it would be very weird for them to just do a one off. I think this might be Surely this is a they're going to plan to run this every year. I don't know. I'm not I'm not like trying to knock that. I'm just saying that. I literally do not know. Yeah, Like, I just don't know what the what the plans are here? You see a lot of commentary on social media. Now, I know this is from like the one percent of the one percent, but all these are big bets PLO and Noel them At hold Them. So a lot of the mixed game crowd has been like, well, not going to the Bahamas because there's just nothing on there for me to do. Now, as if you're a mixed game player, I understand, you know, Like I think I saw a comment from David odb Baker about you know, this not being friendly for mixed game players. I'm sure Alan Kessler said something as well, like I get it right, But I also understand it from a business perspective if you're gg THESFP like traveling players are big bet players, yes, and they're mostly Noel them At hold Them players, you know. So that's just how it is. That's the nature of the business. Schedule is for what they're trying to achieve, it it's good to achieve. It is what it is. It's good for what they're trying to achieve. I'll be really interested to see how many entries they end up with in that five thousand dollars main event that has a fifteen million dollars prize pool guarantee. Those are a thousand. I believe it's a thousand guaranteed qualifying Yeah, I actually think I even got an email today that said, like, qualify for the WSP in Paradise. I should try and find this. Yeah, want a trip to Paradise? Yes, I do. I can deposit on WSV dot com and I guess get entered into some sort of drawing win a WSP Paradise package. I'm assuming there's gonna be stuff on club GG, so he's saying we could win out package on WSP dot com. Hold on, I'm reading right now. This looks like it's a sweepstake promotion. Now, Gig Poker it's a totally different story, right because they just you know, have all the money because they're the biggest, if not, you know, one of the biggest online poker sites in the world. I think Club Gig. There will probably be some qualifiers on there. I mean, if there are, I'll be playing them, you know, so, you know, trying to trying to win my package. But yeah, I'm interested to see how it goes. I mean, they're they're guaranteeing what they're you know, saying, is the field of three thousand entries for this main event. So we'll see how big it ends up getting. But it's gonna be a fun series. It's gonna be crazy. I mean, these guarantees are nuts. I have no if they're gonn hit all the guarantees or not. I'm confident I'm guessing they will. I would say probably the biggest liability would be the main event. Yeah, it's got to be the main event, you know, it's got to be the main events. But then I mean that's the one they're guaranteeing all the people for you know, they still need to find two thousand. It might be the twenty five KGG millions. To be honest, I mean that's four hundred players. Well what they get that the biggest twenty five k the World Series is you? That's like the full right If the World Series is different in Vegas than this anyway, I think you and I agree. You know, good schedule for what they're trying to go for here, pretty lofty guarantees, fifty one million dollars in priceful guarantees overall across the entire series. We'll certainly be paying attention. And then now you know, I'm sitting here thinking, okay, Win WPT, when are you gonna announce? Let us know what the guarantees are. I mean, we know the dates for the key events for the WPT World Championship at win Las Vegas, right, we just don't know the guarantees. So what are we doing? I mean like that, That's what That's what I'm waiting for. Because now gig Poker and w SP they came out and they said, hey, we know when your event is, We're doing an event right on top of it. We're coming with fifteen goal braces we're coming with fifty one million and guarantees. What are you gonna do? It would be balls in your court, let's go. I mean, so what are they gonna do WPT to announce fifty one point one million and guarantees just pull just just for the just for the laws. I mean, I mean it's from from where we stand, you know, sitting on the sidelines, just eating our popcorn, watching this, watching this, this battle happen. I mean, you know, it's I don't know what are they going to come out with. I mean, last year they had the WPT World Championship was a ten K buying ten thousand, four hundred dollars fifteen million dollars guaranteed. They had twenty nine million in the prize pool. So the p and Gigi Poker has matched the guarantee for that event for half the buy it. So is WPT gonna be like, okay, we're keeping it at a ten care? Are we gonna go to twenty million? Are we're gonna go to twenty five million? Are we're gonna go to thirty million? I don't they need to go to a lace twenty And I agree that anything above that is yeah, I don't know. I don't know if you should take too big of a step. I think they should for sure go to twenty I think that's pretty safe. Yeah, and then they should probably guarantee some sort of twenty five K. I like, I don't know if they need to go to ten million like is doing here, but you know you could do five million something like that. They just don't have the power of the online qualifying of GIG. I don't know, man, WPT Global, I think WPT Global are gonna be satelliting packages for a twenty five K, but they'll be all in on the main. So if they're all in on the main then I would say if it depends what they want to do, you know, does w if they control the other part of the schedule, or does it all Win and Ryan, I mean I think they all work together, you know, So, I mean, do they have a monetary interest in how the twenty five I think one of the benefits to WPT in this regard is I think that w or Sorry, I think that WIN wants to very much succeed here too. We're like, yeah, slash gg poker in the Bahamas. I don't think Atlantis really cares it either way, Like I don't, they're probably getting them. Like I think win cares as like a poker operator. So this yeah, but you know it's just interesting. Look, WPT is not going to fail at the win this year, well, of course. And I don't think whatever happens, whether it's incredibly successful or just very evenly keeled, I think the wind's fine. They're gonna do their win millions and mocks, gonna get good numbers. They're gonna do their win series during the Summer's gonna get good numbers. So, I mean, the funny thing is, it's like we're talking so much obviously about this WSP Paradis event, the WPT World Championship, you know, overlapping in December, catching Strays. Over here is just Poker Stars EPT Prague. It's just it's just like no one's no one's talking about that. Everyone's talking about this this main event, this heavyweight fight you know between WPT and WSP going on over here, the Poker Stars Focus Stars with with EPT Prague. It's just over here, just like, hey, guys, what about And to mention record breaking numbers lost yet at APT Progus. Yeah, sorry, So it's not like they're just I'm knocking to my guests right now, is that the w s AP Paradise hurts EPT progue more than it hurts WPT. I think it pulls numbers from that group more, Whereas I think that I think that WPT in Vegas, I think the WSP Paradise, I think that those can be successful at the same time. And then I think POKERS ares EPT Prague is like the one that suffers mostly drawn out of WP Paradise, and that's mostly just like a travel thing, a player based thing, a taxation thing. Like those European players are the ones that are gonna go to WP Paradise. Yeah, some Americans will go down as well, don't get me wrong. But the Americans, especially the ones that are West Coast based, Vegas based, they can just be like, well, I can just go to win, you know, I don't need to go all the way down. And then you US said the same about the heavy Florida contingent of players. It's like I'm a forty five minute flight away. Yeah yeah, no, true true. And like if you you can, depending who you are, you can play both the WUSAP main event, not you can't final table, but you can bubble the final table and still make the WPT World Championship. Yeah, if I was, you know, I know, no one wants to move dates because they want to battle. If I was the WPT, and maybe think about some day to registration just for this or maybe you know, figure out a way where you can play right through to the very end of the WSP main event in Paradise and still make it back to Vegas for the for the win. Why isn't Seminole doing that? Like, hey, right after you leave the Bahamas, we're a forty five minute flight away, just hop on over. That's a good idea, you know, right before Christmas, right before you head off for the holidays. You know most most most people that travel to the Bahamas have to connect through Miami, you know, So why don't you just be like, hey, you know, little little holiday present here, Holiday Bash, the Seminal Holiday Bash. That's a great name, the rock and Roll Holiday Bash. No more rock and rolls every roll. We need some variety in the names. All right, who do we need to talk to? It's not like that event is on December twentieth, and there's no time, like there's enough time that you could have like a four or five day event at seminole get all these players to come on through, fire off some money, and then head on home for the holidays. So now Doug Polk is in there I mean, listen, Nan is gonna take on the challenge. He's gonna do what he needs to do, and he's gonna get prepared and he's gonna go to battle. So it's just like the way that high stakes duel is currently structured. I think probably at the beginning, I remember when this first came out, I was like, oh, okay, like that's cool. I thought the idea was a lofty one, you know, to try and get there. But I was like, yeah, okay, this could work. Now I think that it should probably transition to something different, you know, just because I think, you know, it's just too difficult to do it like this personally. That's it. High Stakes Poker Season eleven recently kicked off on Monday. Episode two aired. It was not a great session for Eric person, not at all. He played seven hands, lasted seven minutes. Yeah, just down seven thousand dollars. Absolutely positively crushed in that regard. But it's been a really fun season so far. A lot of a lot of really big action which you love to see on High Stakes Poker. And then with No Gamble in the Future season three, it's that Cash of the Titans episodes are continuing, So we got those two shows running twice a week Monday for High Stakes Poker, Wednesday for No Gamble in the Future. So a lot of stuff going on, and then coming up next month we're gonna have Poker Masters. I think it runs the fourteen through the twenty sixth. The streams every day. There's gonna be a final table stream starting on the fifteenth every day but the Sundays, that's what I should say, because we take Sundays off, But the fifteen through the twenty sixth there will be final table streams. We got PGT Mixed Games and PLO series coming up. After that, we got Super High Rollerble's going to take place right after Poker Masters. Tim just put the announcement out on the dates for that's about the twenty eighth through the thirtieth. So the Poker Masters is ten events, YEP twenty five K. The last three events are twenty five K, twenty five K, fifty K. I think it's three twenty five ks, three twenty five ks, love it, twenty five K, twenty five K, twenty five K, then a fifty K, then the three hundred k super high rollerble, which I know every year we go into super high Rollable and it's like, how many are we going to get this year? And like we kind of don't know because it's it's a tricky event because first of all, the buying is obviously super high three, but then this isn't like three hundred thousand dollars in a different country. It's in the US, so you have to fight that whole tax thing with a lot of the foreign players. That said, I don't know, I think we could get a really good number just with like the way events have been going. I'm just like, what if we just get forty, Like I mean, I have to, Yeah, but we have to go into it being pessimistic. We have to just think that that's going to get its normal kind of numbers and not let's not overhype it too much because we don't want to have that let down. I'm just saying, I'm just what I'm saying is that I wouldn't be surprised, right, Yeah, but I could say the same about the other number going down. I could, certainly, but but normally, normally that's my only thought is like, it's not going to get much bigger than it was the year before. This year, I feel way differently, like I feel like it can go either way. I mean, and I'm and I'm more bullish on everything because just with the way that poker is in general, I'm like, you know what, this could be pretty pretty big, So we'll see how that goes. I'm I'm really looking forward to Poker Masters. I'm really looking forward to Super High Rollable. Of course, if you were living under a rock. Daniel Grandnew is the defending champion of Super Higher Rollable. He won it last year for three point three million dollars, so he'll be back in the mix trying to run it back. They're digging out. You know. We I think we went out to do something, and you know, in the morning, we're coming back and Caleb, my son, my seven year olds, like, I'm gonna go swimming today. I'm like, huh, what are you talking about. He goes in our pool. I'm like, buddy, apparently just started digg He's like, give it, the hole's done. Anyway, we get back, it's you know, late afternoon. All the crew's gone, the hole's dug, the pool is semi shaped. Obviously there's a lot more to go. And we go walking around the pool and he's like, why can't we swim. I'm like, buddy, it's not. No when you're ready. It's not when you're ready months away. Anyway, wakes up today for school and he's like, where are the workers. Why are they not building my pool? So, by the way, it's his pool now, not our pool, it's his pool. And he's upset that the workers aren't there, that the pool's not ready, and I'm like, you know, they're coming tomorrow. They're going to do the plumbing and they've got to do concrete. I'm like, you remember in Hawaii when you were like walking around the pool and there was the tiles. They gotta do that, And he's Okay, well, when will it be ready? Like next week? I'm like, nobody Thanksgiving. Let's hope it's ready by Thanksgiving. So it's just funny, how like naive? Like naive, you know, seven year old kids are when it comes to any real world issue like building a ridiculously expensive pool in a Vegas backyard. But that's my that's my story. But for the day, I mean, I don't have anything. I mean, everything's been going well with the new kid. Do you have a name? So far, I didn't even know the name. Yes, Dominic Dominic okay, like Dominic Toronto from Fast and Furious. Is that way you got the inspiration? No, But I'm telling people we need to have to Dominic Toronto because we got family. Baby. So I'm I don't know when I'm gonna be able to play poke again. That's been extremely point twice aware. Yeah, well I can't really get away right now. But I also have a rule. I'm currently deep in studying and I need to achieve a certain like benchmarking my studying before I go back to playing. I've been taking uh Patrick Leonard pads this course on run it once. I've clicked around it before, but I've never like you know, gone through like you know each one, and I want to finish the entire course before I play again. How much it's too much? I'm probably ten percent done. It's like two Hunter videos jesus. I mean, I don't even know if that's the real number. It might even be more. You just put it on when you were like working like on another screen. Do you have to be highly focused on it? I don't study poker unless I actually study poker. I sit down with I have a note bad. I have a notebook for just my poker studying, and I take notes like I'm going to class yet, because I just I think one of the worst things that people can do is they quote unquote study poker and they like have a study video up or something, and then they're like plane or they're doing stuff on the side. You're not actually studying. You're not paying attention. It's just there. It's background noise, like that's you're not really doing it. So you're not doing yourself any favor and you trick yourself into thinking that, yes, you're studying, but you're really not studying. So my process is I sit down and I watch I try and watch two to three videos a day, take take notes on them, and just kind of review things. And then so he has he has the course kind of broken down into sections, and when I get through a section, I rewatch the videos, but I do it on like one point five x speed just to quickly breeze through it. So it's like gets further ingrained into my mind. So that's my current process. I don't know if that's a good process or a bad process, but I find that it works for me. I think my overall take is that Patrick Leonard is extremely undervalued as a poker mind and a poker coach, Like it's just incredible how he is able to break down the stuff. If you don't want to pay for Run at Once, if you don't want to sign up, like I get it. I think I think you can buy just his course like as a one off on the side. I don't know what it costs, but yeah, but if you don't, I would recommend just following pads on Instagram. He does content like usually throughout the week just through his stories, but like the best is on Sundays. You know, he'll put up like twenty to forty stories of like him just playing, like he'll like film a whole spot talk through it like you know, So that is just like valuable free content that's out there. So I would HI would highly encourage, you know, following Patrick Lennard on social media, mostly on Instagram if you're interested in the poker strategy stuff. You know. My background show right now this week has been season one of the OC. I rewatched it during like Quarantine, like a couple of years ago, and for some reason I just had like I just wanted to watch like the first episode again, and I put it on my wife's like comes down while she's like are you watching this again? I'm like, it's such a great show. She's like it's oh my god. She walks back, and then she like, you know, came down later that day. I was like on episode seven, and now I'm just it's just on. It's just on. I'm just putting it on play while I work, and I'm like basically started season two and then just quickly to put a bow on the studying that I'm doing. I've also been watching the Trading Poker series stuff. It's not easy to watch it, like because again when I watch it from a study point of view, I want to actually just watch it and pay attention to everything. Like I'll I've like when it was on, when it was happening, I just put it on a second screen just kind of listened, you know, and it was there, and if something big I heard was happening, I would click over and actually watch it. But from a study perspective, you know, watching it, it's just it's hard because every stream is like ten hours long, so it like takes forever, so I can only watch like an hour or two at a time. So it's like, you know, I'm only doing the no limit stuff, not the short deck stuff. So it's you know, whatever, twelve events, ten events, you know, times eight to ten hours, like it's just forever. So like you know, you know, you just like I'll do some of the stuff from Patrick Lennard. Then I'll you know, watch some of the stuff on the trite and stuff. You know, just you're I'm not really listening to the commentary necessarily, Not that those guys aren't you know, good and sharp, Al Najad and you know, Randy lu Hera, Henry Kilbain, like you know, all the Maria hoo was on for for London. Not that they're not giving good insight, but I'm just kind of watch it to like watch the plays and see like what is this something that I would do in this spot? You know, why is this person doing that? Oh they're betting like this percentage. Maybe that's a new thing. Maybe that's not so Yeah, you know that's kind of the stuff that I'm doing. I will say that I have it. I have it pretty good that I know some of the players that play in the event so that I can always ask them. I can say, hey, you know, why do you think this happened here? You know, for those out there that may not have that. If you have questions, I would just kind of put them down and put them on social media or something. Maybe somebody answers, maybe somebody doesn't. Like, Hey, Danyon Lagron, you I noticed you were limping a lot during Super Higer Rollable. Why you know, like maybe he answers, maybe he doesn't. You know, there's a shot that Daniel No, I know, but I'm saying there's a shot that that people. These people answer, you know, so I would do that stuff if you know, studying poker is your thing, and right now it's my thing, and I want to get through it all before I start playing again. I know there's a series right now at the win that I'm missing, but you know, it is what it is. I have heard that the Trying Poker series compares pretty closely to the South Point Nightly in scale level. So it's good that you are, you know, starting trying just for when you come back. Want to know, I mean the South Big Game, whatever point, it's gonna blast off in that thing. But there's like some Blagio event, the Kickoff Classic. Yeah, that what it's called. First of all, horrible name, horrible name, it's what's it kicking off. It's in September, kicking off Fall. It's not then call it the Fall Kickoff. It's kicking off something. It's kicking off Bellagio's return to a poker tournament. But it's what is it? It's it's a thirty five hundred dollar buying with a it's got some sort of guarantee on it. I think it's like nine events, right, Yeah, the the main event is a thirty five hundred with a five hundred K guarantee. With the five hundred K guarantee true starting flights, which honestly, I have no idea that's going to be hit. I mean, I just I don't I don't know. I don't know if I want to go play this event yet. Okay, that said, I have it on my radar, the thirty five hundred Blagio Kickoff Classic. That's what this is called. So the thirty five Lago Kickoff Classic main event two day one flights starts on Thursday, September seventh. The second one is on Friday, September eighth. What's the re entry for this? I'm assuming it's unlimited. I mean, it's Blagio says. It just says level okay, yeah, five guarantee thirty five by and so I'm gonna watch it, and if it looks like it's going to fall short, it looks you could have I mean, I have no idea. It's the Bolagio. I mean, I mean, I don't know. Yeah. My thing is that they I know, they've like done a better job recently of like trying to revamp their nightlies and stuff like that. I just I just don't know how this is going to perform. So I think that, you know, the realm of outcomes, so the range of outcomes here is pretty wide. It could fall short. It could obviously smash, you know. I mean they don't they need like one hundred and fifty players. I think it'll be fine. There's nothing really competing with it, you know. It's it's a few days prior to ass series. It's on the tail end of the Wind series, so it should be fine. I think it should be fine too. I mean I would like it to get you know big, that would be cool too. But I'm gonna watch it. Maybe I'll go play that Friday flights, depending on how I feel and everything. But but yeah, I mean it's a I like it because it's you know, it's two day ones, it's a three day tournament overall. You know, you're kind of and you're kind of out. Yeah, my suggestion for the next time, don't do Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I would do Friday Saturday for the starting flights, then Sunday Friday said or that and up the guarantee of course. But yeah, so we'll see how this one goes. But that's the only one out of that. There's like, you know, there's some six hundred, there's an eight hundred. IM I would only play the thirty five hundred just because now you know, with two kids, you can't just can't just be taken. Definitely not too rich. But but yeah, so we'll see how that one goes. But that would be kind of my next target.
