Hello, everyone, Welcome to a brand new episode of the Poker Growth Podcast. And this episode is special because hot off the press, the World Series of Poker schedule is here for twenty twenty four. It is like Christmas morning, You're unwrapping the biggest gift. It's the best thing for poker players other than obviously probably playing in the bracelet events come the summertime, but you know, unwrapping this thing, diving into it every single year. I know a lot of people, as have Tim and I have been anticipating the twenty twenty four WSOP schedule, and that is all we're going to be talking about today. My name is Donny Peters. His name is Tim Duckworth. Tim, what are you doing? By the way you're in your tesla? What is happening? I mean, he doesn't want to bother his family. The guy is just out of control. Hey man, look, don't worry about where I am. Let's just talk about the greatest day of the year so far. I already know that when we send this to producer rich Ryan, he's going to be yelling at you for what is happening. But it doesn't matter. Nonetheless, we are here to talk about the twenty twenty four WSP schedule. So here's here's what we knew. We knew that the schedule was or sorry, the w SIP was taking place from May twenty eighth to July seventeenth. We knew that the WSP main event dates were July third through July seventeenth. We knew that a lot of the popular mainstays that are on the WSP schedule every single year, things such as the Monster Stack, the Mystery Millions, the Millionaire Maker, are all going to return, like they already. They put all that stuff out there, right, We've just been waiting for the whole thing. Here's what we got. Kind of quick overview. Then then timill Tim will dive into it and and bear with us a little bit here because we're pretty much doing this on the fly. We the schedule dropped and we kind of just pressed record, and I mean, that's all. No I've had like that. I've had a tiny bit of coffee. Okay, I haven't had, you know, enough coffee to probably properly go through this, but you know, it's it's fun. You know, we're gonna're gonna dive into it and kind of do it, do it live ninety nine, Live Gold raised the tournaments as part of I'm already mad already they didn't do a hundred? Yeah, like, come on, one hundred? I feel it clean, beautiful, nothing. I feel like I feel like they have to be waiting for something for a hundred, because why wouldn't you just go to a hundred. But also why didn't you just go to one hundred last year the year before? You know what? It's like, what did they have last year ninety five? The year before that they had eight eighty eight I think. So it's like we're talking about. Yeah, they did mention in the press release that dibisip dot com Gold Bracelet events are soon to be announced or to be announced, So those will be coming down the pipeline eventually, and as we talked about on the last episode, we'll guessing that they're probably gonna, you know, do ones for Pennsylvania, do ones for Michigan, do ones for Nevada, slash New Jersey, et cetera. So when that stuff happens, when that news drops, you know, we'll touch on it as well. But for this, you know, I mean the Live Gold bracelet events, I mean that's the that's what everyone's here for, right. I mean, that's like coming to Las Vegas now on the Las Vegas Strip, at Horseshoe Las Vegas, at Paris, Las Vegas, like that, that's that's what you're there for, walking those hallways, buying in, getting the ticket, finding your seat, riffling those chips. Hopefully Daniel Legrand or Phil Helmley sits down your table like that's what it's about, and then for a select group of people, getting your hands on that gold at the end of the day. So, as we said ninety nine Goal Brace events, Tim is already mad. I'm not whatever. It kicks off in kind of an interesting fashion, so I'm gonna like kind of bounce back and forth between like the schedule. I have. I printed out the press release. I went old school, Tim. I printed out the press release and I quickly ripped through it with a highlighter. Okay, this is like this is like don Donnie back in high school. Okay, like this is how I used to like study and stuff. So anyway, it kicks off in an interesting fashion. And I say that because it's kicking off with with kind of two things. Right at the top, it has two I mean the brand new events, right, I mean this, Yeah, this five thousand dollars Champions Reunion, no limit, hold them freeze out. Okay, so there's that. Then they also have the a five five hundred dollars WSP Kickoff Nolaman hold them freeze Out, So kicking off in a big way with two freeze out events. Of course, up there at the front is that five hundred dollars buying casino employees event. That one is you know, it's it's closed off for casino employees only, so you know, people tend to kind of not talk about that one as much, although that one's usually the one that kind of kicks everything off, gets people in the building, et cetera. But yeah, this Champions Reunion. So it's interesting because it's a five thousand dollars buying so, you know, a pretty big price point if in this tournament if you knock out a former WICP Main event champion. So if I go play and I bust Jamie Gold's ass, I'm going to receive an automatic entry into the twenty twenty four WSIP main Events. So essentially, every WICP Main Event champion that plays in this tournament has a ten thousand dollars bounty on their head, right, So there's that. Now. When when I first heard about it and like read the schedule, I read the schedule before. I just clicked on the schedule before I read the press release, right, so I click on the schedule, I'm like, Okay, What's I'm going in? It says, you know, knocking a man event champion receive a seat to the twenty twenty four min event. First thing that popped in my mind was, well, how many main event champions are gonna play? Right? Sick six are gonna play? That's my but that's it. But I kind of thought the same thing. Plus, it's also like, you know, some of the main event champions, like I mean, I said Jamie Gold, so we'll just use him as an example, even even Daniel Winden from last year. I mean, you know, Daniel Wineman has been scarce in terms of playing poker now that he's won the double sibmin event, right, Jamie Gold as well, Chris Moneymaker, same sort of thing. So, like, are these guys gonna be out there on May twenty eighth grinding a full summer? I don't know, you know, not Phil, Phil Helmet, yes, but Tim All Living doubas be main event champions are given a free entry to play in this event. So if you show up now, you show up your Jamie Gold, you show up your Chris money Maker on May twenty, if you show up your Phil Hellmuth, you're getting a five k C. I mean, and if this draws pretty well, that could ultimately turn into a good chunk of change if you go on to win it. So that's pretty good just to start things off, I have I have a follow up go ahead. It says main event champion right now, WSP Europe, WSP Paradise, WSP Asia Pacific, WSP Online. Are they going to count as the main event champion? That is very interesting. I think we will either need to one ask a WSP official or to wait for the official structure sheet. One of those two things. I think we can do a former, probably sooner than we get the structure sheet. So I would lean to know, just because you know, you mentioned we're like they're going to pay for everyone. We're going to add Europe, Paradise Online, Asia Pacific. You know that's a lot more money they have to spend to put these people in. But also when they get knocked out ten K on the back end, So every champion is a fifteen K spend for the WSP. So I would probably guess that when not they're not going to include Europe, Asia Pacific or Paradise. Yeah, I mean, it'll be interesting to see. But you know, either way, I think, you know, it's probably be good to find out that information, you know, just to kind of put it out there and be clear. This this w SP kickoff. Nolan Holdan frees out this five hundred dollars buying one. So it's in a way, it's kind of like an appetizer, right, And I'll say that it's an appetizer, and then the main course is the one thousand dollars buy and Mystery millions tournament. To me, that's the real kickoff, right like that, that's the tournament that that's the one. It's obviously gotten a lot of buzz in recent years. This year again they running it back with the top bounty guaranteed at one million dollars. They're also guaranteeing a million dollars for first place. Last year, this tournament was the sixth largest turnout in live tournament history, with eighteen eighty eight entries. Yeah, Tyler Brown won it for a million dollars. Pretty crazy there. They're gonna have four starting fights May thirtieth through June second. I mean, I mean this, this one, it sets the tone for the summer for me, right, Like, if this, if this comes out of the gate and I'm guessing it's gonna push twenty thousand entries, I mean, we're we're in for one hell of a summer, right and and and you know, within this press release, I think a couple different times they've they've mentioned how last year was a record setter and thebasity always pushes to do better than next year. Says that their motto is bigger and better. So I would certainly expect them to try and break the numbers that they set last year, and it probably we we'll start here with this Mystery Millions event, make it the biggest Mystery Millions event that they've had. So they got a top eighteen one and eighty eight entries. The way that the WSP draws every single year, there's probably a pretty good chance of that. And if it does, you know, I think like we're cooking, right and ultimately we're cooking towards another record setting WSP Main Events you know, we'll touch on that a bit, but just right now, ten thousand and forty three entries last year when Daniel Weinman won it, So kind of that's like the that's the goal out of all of this. But up front, you know, this this tournament, I mean, it always draws super well. People are out there blasting away, so I would expect that it draws well once again. Now I will say that nothing is guaranteed other than the million dollar bounty prizing and the million dollar top prize. So there's a chance that the number isn't as big, right, There's always a chance. So if it comes out of the gate and it gets fourteen thousand, still an extremely good number. Fourteen thousand entries in a one thousand dollars buying tournament is great, right, But we might need to just kind of temper our expectations for like what we're going to expect for the full summer, right, or maybe it's more of like a slow build instead of coming out of the gates firing. You know, I don't know, I mean this stuff, this stuff changes every single week at the ws AP, Right, how we're thinking about you know, how the records of the field sizes, all that sort of stuff. So it's just going to be interesting to see how, you know, first that five thousand dollars champions Reunion draws and then also how this opening Mystery Millions draws. So one other thing I'll touch on and then we'll get into I guess we can talk about like the new events on the schedule. Kind of early up top of the press release, they mentioned offering nearly seven hundred tables, which immediately I saw that and I was like, that sounds like it's more than it had been because I remember, you know, we used to talk to some of the tournaments staff and like, you know, how many tables are actually in this place, what's the capacity? All that sort of stuff, and you know we always got some numbers. Nearly seven hundred sounds more than I was always told. And then if you look down at Ty Stewart, the senior vice president and executive director of the Dobasty, his quote says, with our best schedule ever and and this is the part I want to hit on more than one hundred additional poker tables. So yeah, they're getting ready. I mean, you do you want do you want the inside of the inside of the let's go here. It is that I am Let's go of course I am a w I'm the miss of w s P. If you guys listening at home, remember the Horseshoe poker room far and of the Horseshoe. If there's a set of escalators that go upstairs where there's some ballrooms where they you know, have shows. Is that what it's called Drubilee? I couldn't remember the name, but be that is a cafe downstairs that you want? Yes, yeah, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. I believe it's that spot is going to be the location for the Deep Stacks. It was mentioned last year by a few different staff members, and it's been mentioned I've ever heard of this year. Where could you put an extra hundred tables? That's a lot of tables. I think they're following through with that plan, sectioning off that area for maybe it's not the Deep Sacks, maybe it's cash games, maybe it's something else, but deep stacks makes a lot of sense. Or satellite or sit and go something that's very don't need more than one hundred tables. So I think that's where they're putting it for us in the main ballroom. I know we're figuring out the layouts. Maybe squeeze a couple more tables in there for them. But yeah, I believe the Jubilee Theater or whatever whatever that place is called. That's interesting that you say. That's that's good insight, and that's a good tie in too. We'll talk about the new events that are on the schedule next. But one of those new events, and I wasn't going to hit on this one first, I'll hit on this one first because I think it has to do with what you're talking about. Is So the Deep Stack Championship nolanan Holdham event six hundred dollars buying is sponsored this year by Poker News. Okay, So poker News is the pokernews dot com, the company you and I both used to work for. Okay, So shout out the pan Pot, shout out Chad Holloway and all those guys over there. So Poker News Deep Stack Championship Nolanman hold Them. It's event number sixty two. It takes place starting on June twenty fifth. In the press release, they say it's going to offer some special promotions to spotlight low stakes grinders. What's interesting and how it pertains to what I think you're kind of talking about with that additional space that could potentially be used. You know, if true for the deep Stacks only, is that for this tournament from for the first four weeks of the WSP from May twenty eighth through June twenty fourth, players who participate in the daily Deep Stacks at the two hundred, two fifty and four hundred dollars price points, they're gonna earn points and climb leaderboards, and the top ten point earners each week from those deep Stack tournaments can win complementary seats to play in this six hundred dollars Poker News Deep Stack Championship. So if you're making you can still buy into this hya you No, you can still buy into the championship, yes, but you could possibly you know, win a bunch of seats, right, So what if there if they're making a bigger push for this event and for the deep stack tournaments, like I'm talking about the daily deep Stack tournaments right and having the point leaderboard, it also filters into a gold Bracelet event, right. Well, in theory, you're probably gonna have a better turnout for them, right, So you're gonna need additional space and It's also like, in a way, those daily deep stack tournaments are kind of like their own little series, and they got their own little place to go and play and do their thing. Right, So that's good. If that is what's happening, that's good. You know, not sure you know how often you and I will will wander way the heck over there because we know where it is and it's every oh, every day. Oh, we're going to work it into our daily walk. Okay, maybe we'll have how many steps we we do always know, like a one coffee shop that's kind of by there, so we might as well just go clean. I'm opting our step minimum this year now that they're adding a room, you know, twenty thousand steps, no sweat, We're going for thirty every freight, you and me and thirty thousand coffees. Yeah, so I think that that's that's interesting. Now, this isn't the first time that we've had a title sponsor for an event. I believe DraftKings did one in the past, you know, eighty to a poker, I think did the eighty or did the Crazy eights event or the eighty eight event, whatever the heck it was called GD Poker's on the flip and go stuff like that. So you know, this isn't like something brand new that Poker News is doing. But still, you know, they're stepping out there and they're probably gonna put a lot of emphasis into this event and trying to get kind of, you know, some low stakes players to move up in the ranks and take a shot, you know, into a bracelet event, which you know, at the end of the day, that's kind of the story that we all want to, you know cover, you know, somebody going from low buying accessible price point going up ultimately winning a bracelet and then you know, maybe eventually they become a star. All right for the other new events, And I have a couple of questions here, I'm gonna lean on you on because there's at least one event, if not two events that they listed as new that I'm like, I don't think these are new. But anyway, they have a ten thousand dollars Big O Championship. Okay, that's brand new, right, and Big O's like, I mean, these guys love the Big O. So that starts on June thirteenth. They have a fifth Now this event, this event that I'm about to say, I have no idea how I feel about this one fifteen hundred dollars buying mixed, no limit hold them Slash pot limit Omaha, double bored bomb pot Yeah. I mean this is like Carnival game to the max. Look, double borders is popular, Bomb pops popular popular, no limit hold and PLO mix very popular. Now I'm talking from cash games. Is this going to have a good transition to tournaments? I'm not sure. However, we will say this. We know that new events at the World Series always get great turnouts. People want to just you know, the antsy to try things. Look at the Badoogie last year, look at the Big O. So it's probably going to get a good turnout. But I don't think it's a straightforward games. I mean, this is this is everyone anti's the dealer puts out two flops and you go. Sounds like this is basically a variation of the what was it called the antie only or the antie up whatever they used to do back in the Rio days. So I like them trying new things, but I don't like that there are these new events, these new carnival ish events, you know, at the sacrifice of better events, And I know, we're probably going to touch on what they cut off. But that's what upsets me probably the most about this, not the fact that they're trying something new. I think this event favors someone like a Dylan wi Yeah, like, uh a, so many bumpops hand? How many hands of double board bumpoles? What I'm saying is like, there's two there's gonna be two boards out there starting with two flops right now, Nolanan hold them, Okay, but PLO, if you're an experienced PLO player, you understand hand ranges of your opponents, You understand blockers, stuff like that. Like, I feel like you're gonna be at a big advantage. So somebody like a Dylan Wiseman, somebody like it you mentioned John Reardan, right, like those guys who are very good at Omaha, Alex Livingston, I can throw and they're like, you know, we can keep naming people, right, Josh Ari et cetera. Yeah, Sean deeb like whatever you threw, Phil Helmy can never or whatever Shawn dee blah blah blah. Anyway, but like they can obviously play. Nolan A hold them very well. Right, But like this is half and half so I think it might favor someone like, you know, again like at Dylan Wiseman, type of person who can really like apply pressure when it's double board of plo. Like that sounds just bananas to me. So that's gonna be one. I'm I'm interested to see how it goes. Again, not really sure how I feel about it at the end of the day, but you know, we'll see what happens. We talked about the Poker News event. They are doing a Senior's high Roller tim five thousand dollars buy in Love. You know, they might have been able to go up to ten k, but you know, five thousand dollars Senior high Roll. I still think this one draws bananas. Like I mean, these these seniors events are out of control. Every single year, They're like, they just get bigger and bigger and bigger. It's wild. So I would I would expect this Senior's high Roll or does extremely well. Five thousand dollars price point that starts on June twenty sixth. Now they have this brand new event that they're calling the Independence Day Celebration by in two starting flights. I believe I believe it's two starting flights. Let me. See, Yeah, flight ay on Wednesday, July third, and that's notable because why tim it's not July fourth? Well also why and also it's the side of the main event. Yeah, so that's interesting. The timing of this one is interesting, right Obviously, if you're gonna call it the Independence Day celebration, you're putting it on Independence Day. The second starting flight is on Thursday July fourth, so also and on Independence Day, which I think in this case would make more sense because of where the main event starts. Yeah, so that's that's an interesting one. But you know, I mean it's an eight hundred dollars price point. It's it's basically this is basically a rebranded deep stack tournament that they have, right, you know they have those yeah whatever, five hundred and six and or eight dollars tournaments you know, all throughout the summer that are goal bracelet events. They always draw very well. So I would expect, even though that this does take place during the main events. I mean, one A and one B for the waq Man event are always a little bit lower. One A low, one B being on July fourth, probably pretty low overall. So you know, I think this one will it'll be fine, but it'll still be interesting to see it out there. Now, this this tournament I thought was like one of the best things on this schedule. The next one that I'm going to talk about, and that is on main event Day one d Okay, which is July sixth, at seven pm, they are starting a two day, one thousand dollars noloan hold them tournament. And I believe it that if I remember from the schedule correctly, is thirty minute levels. So I think that's cool. I mean, that's like one like you're going to get a lot of sour people because Day one d the TUMPS main event is the biggest flight every single year, that final starting flight, that final day one starting flight, I should say, for the main event is always the biggest. Right of course, with that, a lot of people bust out. They're going to be sour. I get it. You know, Tim and I we get it. We've both played the main event. We've bust it out. It sucks. You're going to go fire that one k right for sure. Like you're gonna get in there, you're gonna be annoyed, you're gonna be blasting, You're gonna try and get your money back. So that's like a fun way to keep people, you know, at the horseshoe at Paris playing poker, playing it up his bigal Brace event. So I think that that event is it's got good timing, you know. To be honest, I think it's going to be kind of a quicker event per ws AP standards again, thirty minutes starting or thirty minute levels, twenty thousand chip starting stacks, so you know it'll be a little bit quicker. But still I think that that one times out pretty well overall. So I like this edition. I disagree with you. Wow, you're a hater. Why why do you disagree? I get where you're going. I like the idea of giving the people that have busted the main event, these people in the horseshoe and pairs they're never allowed to leave, give the NonStop tournaments to play. There's also people that have obviously kind of ford a ten thousand dollars buying. I just think we know what day one day is, we know the headache, we know it's going to be ten handed. Now you're going to add a one k on that day like you're not? Yeah, but I don't know, it's not even centemizing it'll be ten handed. We just talked about how they're going to add. They're adding one hundred tables. Sure, yes, you say that now, but when there's a dealer shortage or something. I didn't even go to ten last year. Everyone was freaking about ten then ever went ten handed last year. I just think there's better ways to put this event on, like the next day, you know, like, yeah, show you bust a day one day, but day one day, you can come back tomorrow. Another thing that I like about this event is you could essentially play this as a satellite. Yes too. It's true today two D of the WSP main event because you can buy in on day to ABC and day two D. I believe they list it up to like about four forty pm or whatever it is. It's like it's like two levels into the day, right, you know something like that. It's the breaks, of course, so supposed to break. If this is a two day event and it starts on one D, then it should finish on to ABC that first day two right, So in a way, you could play this and kind of as a satellite. So yeah, like you said, if there are people out there who maybe they miss some of the satellites. Maybe they don't have time to get off come play satellites. I don't know, whatever it is. You know, you could fire one thousand dollars into this. Maybe you make a deep run, you know, cash for ten k and just fire that right on into Day two D of the WSP main event and go that way. I mean that that could be a thing that happens. So I don't hate it. You know again, I'm kind of just for like trying to keep people in your tournament series. So I like this one. All right, another new one, one thousand. I mean, this one's going to be wild. One thousand dollars. Mystery bounty PLO. I mean, this is great, good luck, this is it's awesome, Yes, but it's I feel I think it's also the bounties for every every elimination, right, I think that's what they said in the What's no Way? I mean, is that real? The bound is always starting day two? Yeah? Yeah, I know that's something. Every player is a bounty on flight A, that's what it says Mystery Bounie partlament over half light A. Every player is a bounty three day event. That's why I think maybe it's it could be just one hundred dollars, but it could be pretty small. I've seen mystery boundies do that before, where you know, everyone's a bounty, but once you make day two, that's when the real bounties are there. Interesting, that's that's an interesting twist. I wonder how that's my guess. It's probably two hundred dollars, maybe one hundred dollars. You obviously got to think that everyone that survives is not a bountie. So it's not everyone is a bountie. It's only the people that bust, right, So it's not you know, maybe it's forty fifty percent of the field, maybe maybe more. Well, yeah, but doesn't every does every player have to be a mystery bounie. They're just a regular bounty. No. I think it's saying that if I knock you out on day one A maybe I get one hundred dollars, but the tournament's mystery bound I know then the next day, so it's a hybrid boundy. I think it's a hybrid boundy. I don't know if you can have mystery bounties with moment tournament. By the way, the hybrid boundary we didn't invent it. It's a tournament that's existing. We invented a tournament name Hybrid Bounty. That's a terrible name. We're gonna start on day one, you know what. This is the new tournament. I'm gonna digress for a second. We're gonna start the tournament. Everyone's a bounty. Then you get into a mystery bounding and it's a p KO all in one. So PG Wizard, mister commissioner, the open, figure this one out. It's it's the opening pg T Bounty series event, right, but the hybrid let's go, No, we need a better name. We need, we need we can think of a better name. We have we are smart than miss. Yes, let's go. Yeah, let's do it. All right, So you got that one, then you have have so this one. I thought. I don't know why I thought they had this before, but I have no idea. I mean, you'll tell me ten thousand dollars eight game Championship, new event. Okay, well, yes, they've never had a ten k a game. They have had an eight game at a big buying you used to be called the PPC, but as a standalone ten K No, this is the first. This is a new event. Interesting they also they also listed a five thousand dollars eight handed nolanan hold them as a new event, but I'm pretty sure that they've had that before, and maybe not last year, but yeah, like the year before. Sometimes you'll see on the structure sheet for like these events, it'll say, like you'll look up the structure for a tournament, it'll say this is a new event for whatever year. But that sometimes might mean that they just didn't have it the year before, and they might have had it like the year before that. So that that's what I was thinking. Possibly could have happened with the ten k A game. I don't know why, like I thought, like at the Rio they had that tournament, but whatever, it doesn't matter. That's a good event to be in there. You know. Obviously, these these mixed game guys, you know, love that sort of stuff. So that one will of course draw very well. All right, this one's this one's interesting. Three thousand dollars Mid Steaks Championship. Now, this one, I'll just I'll read straight from the press lease what it says. It's a ve number eighty nine for players who bust out of the main event but want to remain part of the high stakes action. This new four day event begins on July eleventh as a three thousand dollars buying and a starting stack of forty thousand dollars. Whoa, whoa, whoa, let's let's wind it back. Stay whoaha. I know what you're gonna say. Go ahead, go ahead, be part of the high stakes action. But it's the mid stakes Championship. Listen, I'm with you. Okay, yes, okay, Now that could just be a you know, misuse of words. I guess it's one hundred percent of misuse of words. But I know what they're getting at, and yes, I mean this is going to have a huge, huge privates great. Yeah, yeah. So I've always thought that, like in the above fifteen hundred up to five thousand, like the basically could put more events in that price point, like three thousand dollars thirty five hundred, Like I don't think they've ever had a thirty five hundred, you know, like you know, but three k's They're like, I think there could be more stuff in there. It always seems like it's it's it's fifteen hundred or lower for a large chunk of the schedule, and then a large chunk of the schedule is ten can higher, Right, where's the sixty five hundred you know six maxx six's not doing that because six the sixty six hundred six max would crush on June sixth. Just be all in on the sixes. I don't know about that one. I don't know about that one. Speaking of six handed, uh, fifteen dollars six handed plo is July eleven. So both this three thousand dollars mid Stakes Championship and that fifteen dollars six handed pool they'll start on July eleven. So there's you know, there's a bit. Yeah, I mean there's but the the mid Stakes Championship has two starting fights, I believe, so yeah, it'll be fine there. I mean there's there's a lot on this schedule. They've definitely they've definitely kind of packed that middle, middle to late stages, you know, kind of of of the series like when you get to like day two, day three of the main event, Like when you look at it last year, it's a little bit lighter. The events are a little bit how do I say, it's less prestigious. So I think they've actively as you touched on with the more they're more common more common events, you know. Yeah, yeah, so I think they're doing what you said, trying to keep people around and hey, main event, you might be out, but we have some big, new fun events still on the schedule, so don't leave the property at all. This next one that I want to point out, So this isn't a new event, but to me, this is like, this is I think the sharpest thing on the schedule, and it is no idea. What you're going to say, You're you're gonna yeah, yes, you're gonna know for sure, because I think we've talked about this, like on one of our many walks around Carrier, like why don't they do this type of thing? The fifteen hundred dollars No Limit Shootout has two flights and they're on the same day, twelve pm and seven pm. No, this is amazing because that that that one always gets like sold out of the thousand, you know, there's four people that want to get in. They're annoyed, Like, you know, I think this is great. I do not think that we were smart enough to come up with this idea. This is a great idea. I don't think I've ever thought of it. Well, I believe it I'm I'm I like, remember I remember stuff like this. I'm pretty sure I remember exactly where we were. We were in the middle of Paris and it was happening, and our friend Ben Ludlow, I think was heads up in the shootout. I think he ultimately lost, but whatever, and we were talking about, why don't they just do a multi flight shootout. Now, we certainly didn't think about doing it on the same day, but that makes a lot of sense. Just do it on the same day. Whatever. This is the Yeah, I love this event. I mean, this is this is fantastic great. I mean, plus, if the shootout does sell out like it usually does every single year, right, I mean, just fine, give people another flight to fire into like this is. This is a great way to boost this price. Bool. So I think this one is good and it can also be I'll be curious to see what they do with this. The one negative that I've always had with the shootout specifically is they've oftentimes run it ten handed, and I'm just so anti ten handed, as I think most poker players out there are. Right, So, now, if you have two starting flights, are you just willing to just run it nine handed? Right? I mean sure. I mean I also, you know, if we're gonna be nitpicky, where's the six handed shootout too? That'd be a cool event. They've had that before, right, I don't I have no one. I don't know. I feel like I feel like you should have a rebuy into the table, into your starting table. I love it. You should just be able to pull out the rebuy chip and fire in, so like, yeah, you can get through the next on one billet. Maybe it costs you, in this case three K to go through. Maybe you end up playing both flights, it costs you six K. But I think that would that would very much, you know, boost up the prize pool in this tournament, and kind of like I know they've they've obviously gotten away from the rebuys themselves, but if it's maybe a little bit more controlled with a a shootout tournament, then then maybe maybe you do it that way. But anyway, I quickly looked over the entire schedule of the ninety nine events, and my numbers could be off, you know, one way or the other, by by one or two or whatever. But what I'll say is that I counted again quickly, fifty events with price points fifteen hundred dollars in Lower So that's that's the majority, you know, I mean it's not the not an overwhelming majority, but you know, obviously that's where there's a lot of focus. Fifty events of the ninety nine or fifteen hundred dollars in Lower there are twenty one events that are above fifteen hundred and up to five thousand dollars. I think the lowest price point above fifteen hundred is the Poker Hall of Fame event at nineteen seventy nine. Then there's a some two k events in there. They have a handful of five thousand dollars events and then above five thousand, so that includes all the ten K championship events that they have. Obviously, the ws main event includes all those high rollers that they have. There's twenty eight of those. I believe my math is correct. Again, it might be off one or two either way for those, but seems to me PGT events is what you mean, Are they going to count for the PGT. I have already got confirmation all the ten thousand buy ins or more at the World Series of Poker this year a PGT qualifying, So let's go. You are right, twenty eight events in total, you can earn PGT points and qualify for the PGT Championship million dollar free roll. Perfect, So that'll be a lot of fun to cover those events. Seems like a good breakdown. You know, just over half the schedule is for that that you know, lower tier up again up to fifteen hundred dollars. I would consider the lower tier once you start getting to the two K price point and higher, Like you can definitely tell, I mean, at least I have felt it. I've played a select few two K events I've played. I think I've played two two k's one twenty five hundred and one three K and you keep so rich you can know this is why I'm not rich, just because I keep playing these stupid tournaments and I keep losing. But you can definitely tell, like the even like going from fifteen hundred to a two K, it's it's a little little bit of a different player pool, not not drastically different, but you can definitely tell that, Like if you're more of like a hobby player or recreational and amateur whatever you want to call it, like you're like fifteen hundred dollars, Like that's my point and that's probably some of that is just over time, like it was it was the fifteen hundred dollars Nolanman holding tournaments that like really were the the ev free man tournament for so long, right, So I think it's just kind of ingrained in people's minds that the fifteen hundred dollars price point is is that every man tournament, plus you get things like you have the Millionaire Makers fifteen hundred, you have the Monster Stack is fifteen hundred, right, I think the Closer is also fifteen hundred. So like those huge no limit hold them fields that you see at the lower price point often come from the fifteen hundred dollars point. Of course, you know you have the one K for the Mystery Millions, et cetera. But still I think that fifteen hundred dollars price point is kind of like, this is like what I'm willing to spend. It's a good price point for me to take a shot in the gold Bracelet event. But once I start going above fifteen hundred for whatever reason, there's kind of like that that mental block that keeps some people away. You know, you get into like a twenty five hundred dollars nolement hold them and you would think that like they'd be the same, but they're not. You definitely get kind of a you know, one one more notch up on the ladder in terms of the class of player that you're playing against. So just kind of an interesting little nugget there. I did want to point out that at I quickly did a little control f sir search because these events that I'm gonna mention are ones that I always like to play because, as I've said before many times on this podcast, on social media, wherever is that you know, I'm at just the point being a working man and whatever like, yet I don't have five days to devote to like the Monster Stack, so I try and play like a two to three day tournament most of the time. WSP has these super Turbo bounties, which I always like, you're in there and you're out of there in one day if you make a deep run. Right. So the super Turbo bounty I think is interesting. They have a one K, they have a fifteen hundred, and then they have a ten K. They couldn't throw in a five K. They couldn't do it twenty five It would have got them to that hundred one hundredth event that you wanted. Look, I could give you a list of fifteen events that could have made to get to one hundredths. But yes, I think super turbo bounties easy way to slot them in. Like I'm looking at a day just randomly, sorry, in June second, only one event starts. You know, you've got day one day the mister millions, that's a good day for a super turbo, right, you know you only got one event starting. That's that's the fifteen hundred. Butdoogie easily could put a super Turbo bounty on that day or the day before. So I think they should do more of those. It does help the the wreck the rec players like you and me that can only dedicated you know, only want a dedicated day or like eight hours to make the money or something. So that's yeah, I definitely think they should be doing a few more of those. And then they always do have they have a one K super Turbo, not super Turble Bounty, just a regular super Turbo and nol them and hold them. That's the ninety ninth event on the schedule that takes place on the final day, July seventeenth. I mean that's the I wish they would rebrand it to like the Summer the Summer Saver or whatever. No, no, this is the one K. It's Event ninety nine. That's Hellmes's number, got it, okay, I mean you could say that, you could say event eighty nine the year he won it, like event you know, this year's event seventeen because he's got seventeen bracelets, like you know whatever. I mean, whatever we am the main event is his because he won that, you know. So, but yeah, this one, you know, another one like super turbo, you know, get it, get it out there, like I just this is like the Summer Saver event for me. I mean everyone is out there blasting. Just try too. It might be like too small. Yeah, I mean you could eat yeah, yeah, you could make it at a two K turbo. People are gonna, like you said, people are gonna fire it. Yeah. I mean so this it starts at ten am. You could almost probably do on that final dait. You could do this one, the super Turbo Bounty one K at ten am and then at like five pm just start a hyper turbo like a five K. Yes with I mean, what are the level the levels in the superturber are twenty minutes. Make it ten minute levels for all I care. Twelve minutes, twelve minute levels, five levels an hour. There you go. I mean at this point, no one cares and everyone is chasing, like the people in these tournaments are usually chasing. So like, let's let's just go. Well, what's you know, I've already lost one hundred and sixty K on the summer. What's another five K? Who cares? If it's twelve minute levels, let's go. Maybe I win the gold, Maybe I don't. I'm gonna have my fun and flick it in there. So let's let's make that happen. We've talked about it many times, you and I. The one hundred K PLO did not make the cut, buddy, make it. I'm so happy. I know you're happy. I'm sad. I wish it made the cut. I mean, look, I'm sad, but I'm also happy I've got both. That event would have blown. Look, doors, you guys can if you if you're upset about the hundred KO, you can get thirty eight. You can come to the Poudio October twenty twenty four, play the pgt PO series and then play one hundred K. This is i'ld have had one hundred and thirty eight players. Okay, well we're going to get one hundred and thirty eight price, No, nothing draws like the Devisabel. I know nothing, So I mean I guess that's that's the overview at least. Ready. Yeah, I'm ready to event, I'm ready. What do you got like? Obviously obviously what you're mad about? What things that didn't make it? Well, we touched on the PLO. Let's be honest. That's a little upsetting. They should have done a hundred KPLOW. Well, so here's my thing about the hunter k PLO is that and I could say that now. I think the chance of what I'm about to say happening is very small, but there's a chance that it could happen. Listen, everyone knew after last summer, even a little bit before that, because we had the opening PGT PLO series, is that PLO was as hot as it's ever been. Right, So now is the time to strike with this type of tournament. Now. I don't think you and I will say that PLO numbers are going to go down, but what if they do? Right? I mean, that's I know something that's not on here. And we've talked about it before. You know, short deck stuff isn't on here. They did try it right, but it's almost like they tried it too late. You know, if like as soon as short deck came out and everyone was like, this is the future, you know, all all that sort of crap that people were saying. You know, if you try it right away, then maybe you can kind of catch that wave or you know, really be a part of that wave because of the w SB brand is so strong. But when you wait, you know, so long to throw in a fifteen hundred dollars short deck, you know, you might have missed the boat. Right now. I'm not saying that they're going to miss the boat with PLO, It's it's a different beast, but like I don't know, maybe one hundred k PLO because of the price point, maybe you could miss the boat. I have no idea, But like that the twenty five k, the fifty k they do so so well last year, that fifty k was out of control, out of you could have you could have walked up to the tournament and be like, hey, everyone, we're gonna make this one hundred k. Can you just put another fifty k? In and everyone would have snap said yes and pulled money out of their pocket like that. Like so, if you're going to strike, I think you got to strike now, right, So that's yeah, that's right. I agree with you. You know, I'm looking at the events. You know you're talking about PLO. There's two events they trimmed that I don't quite understand why. We understand why they took away short deck. It's not that popular. Numbers aren't great. There's two events they killed. One is the fifteen hundred no limit holding PLOW and then also wasn't they replaced by double board bomb pot Okay, yes, but that event last year two thousand runners. It's also one we streamed to weight two thousand runners. Yeah, in the fifteen You can't kill an event if it's got two thousand. Now I'm going to give you the next one they killed, the five K version of the same event, no limit Holding PLO mix won by our boy Michael Munsak. That had five hundred and sixty eight runners and was the first week of the series. I'm going to read off some of the names of this final table. Michael Wonnse, Alexander Livingston, Tyler Brown, Kristen Fox, Christian Harder just bubbling the final table. Uval Brunstein also another person the file table. I miss Jane Andes poker. That is a very big event to just drop off the schedule. Now, Like I said, I'm good with experimenting with the double I didn't know that that one missed the cart that is that's a big one. I mean the fifteen hundred dollars one getting two thousand is obviously a that's a really good turnout. But I mean the five k one for sure. Like but they kept the six hundred dollars version which had twenty seven hundred runners. Good job. But if you're going to if you're gonna look at these events and look at these numbers and say I need to kill one of these, I would kill the six hundred and then make a fifteen hundred double board, keep the fifteen hundred normal, and also keep the five k. That's a good event. You know, we speak to our players, they always ask him for hey, what are you thinking of a no limit PLO tournament? And you know, we have reasons why we don't do it, But six hundred players shows how popular that is. And it was also I think the fourth event of the series. Yeah, I mean it's interesting because it would probably take a lot to like kill an event entirely, Like it would take a pretty steep decline, you know, year over year. You'd probably need to see it for like three, maybe even four years in a row right before you were like, okay, like listen, it's time to pull the plug on this one, you know, because like I mean, they basically did that with Member Potlam and hold them I mean, Parliament almost almost stuck around way too long and then they finally killed it, right, you know, So stuff like that. But those two events, like, for sure I knew the fifteen hundred was off of it, and then I just assumed, you know, they're replacing it with of course the double board bomb up, but the five K one for sure, you know. But here's here's what I'll say. I think you probably have a few more things, but I'm just gonna say quickly, is that, like I don't think that there's there's all to me. There's only one event that I would have left off of this ninety nine and that's the double board bomb pot. But other than that, like I'm like, it's this is fine, you know, So it's not like it's not like if I were to add back in the five K half and half that I would then have to take something off. I don't. I just have to like add it to the schedule somewhere, you know. So maybe it was just for them. They were just like, well they didn't want a hundred yeah, or you know, you have staffing issues, you have space, Like I get it, Like you know, it's you kind of use stopping issues and excuse because we mentioned there's going to be some issues during the main event, like adding those extra events. They're adding events to create stopping issues, so they I don't think that's a real excuse that, hey, we need we kind of one hundred events because we don't have enough stuff. The way you've scheduled it, you're gonna have some logistics issues. But like that's the thing. We know. We know the behind the scenes stuff as well, and there is going to be We're going to see that, you know, come full circle. I do do you have anything else? Do you want to go? Misser over there? You're you're like Alan kester Light, Okay, I'm about to delete this. I don't think I have the power to delete this from my end, but I would press delete on that comment. So what else say? I'll, you know, reading through the press leagus, I I have a bunch of highlights that I made. This one paragraph kind of stuck out to me, and it says weekend Marquee events will have adjusted starting flights during the twenty twenty four WSP. The events will now have either three starting flights and those would be Friday through Sunday, or four starting flights and then those would be Thursday through Sunday. This change results in popular events such as the Monster Stack, Millionaire Maker, and Colossus that now have three starting flights. I believe the Monster Stack and Millionaire Maker had two in the past. I think for sure had two. Then it says additionally, Mega satellites will now be played as quote unquote landmark Mega satellites. Now what those are? Tom? Those are? Those are basically the double SP's version of milestone satellites, because it says where participants will accumulate a certain amount of chips, for example, ten times the starting stack to win a seat into the respective event. So it's milestone satellites trademarked by anybody, I mean it could be, I mean, yeah, who the heck knows, I would. It's so vague that Matt Savage is he one like it might be the win? Yeah, you never know. So I don't think you could trademark milestone satellites though why not? Woop? Didn't they trademark main event? Yeah, but it's a little there was longevity behind that phrase. Milestone satellites is a generic term to describe a satellite whatever. I mean. I go deep in the trademarks, that trademark, I know all the trademark laws, thinking whatever, landmark satellites, milestone satellites, whatever the heck you want to call on them, their satellites. It's basically it's not that the satellites themselves are are changing a ton. They're still going to offer a ton of satellites, of course, it's just a little bit different where in the structure of them, where you know, you get to a certain chip stack based on what you started with. Again, they use the example of getting to ten times a starting stack, then you're you're basically just going to be taken out of the tournament and given that seat, right, which is good. You know, speeds things up, gets things going. So I thought that that was interesting to point out listen. You and I have always been fans of you know, you start tournaments on a Thursday or Friday, like especially these big, these big field no limbit tournaments. So I think that that is a good thing. I think the they didn't mention it here specifically, but I think the Gladiator is a poker which, by the way, is also back and has a three hundred dollars buying and a three million dollar prize school guarantee that starts on June sixth, which is a Thursday, and that one has four starting flights, so that one would go Thursday through Sunday for the starting flights for that one. And I expect that one to be Apple freaking bananas. Looking at all the trademarks, Yeah, like they're rich, literally all ours what for poker? Not Like I searched milestone satellites and poker and like the first page, there's only like three non poker go ones. One's Big Bet Live Ones, Midwest Regional Poker Championship. It's also good for them to you know, WP is gonna want to differentiate from other stuff, which is which is totally fine. I get it from a branding perspective, but does it confuse the people. No, maybe a little bit. Uh No, I don't think so. I think it's fine. I mean half the players don't even read the structure sheets anyway, So what does it matter. You could put you have to get through a hundred times a starry stack, and that people would not know and then they'd find out level eight freak out. Gig Poker is obviously a partner of the w SIP. They mentioned in the press release that part of the record breaking success that took place in twenty twenty three was due to working with GG poker. They also mentioned dobasip dot com, but ggpoker specifically is going to be back. They will again offer exclusive satellites to the twenty twenty four DOUBSIP. I would guess for those of us here in the US that that would also include Club GG, which is their sweepstakes platform that they regularly offer seats to. But last year I think they said they were going to do six hundred seats, or maybe they said more than six hundred seats, but they ultimately qualified seven hundred and seventy four players through the GG Poker Road to Vegas promotion. Those players cashed for more than five million dollars in the WSP Main Event. So seven hundred and players, yes, seven hundred and seventy four players cashing or sorry making their way and qualifying to the wspn event. That's a huge boost obviously, that sort of qualification along with everything else that they did, divasip dot com, they had the main event, Mania, et cetera. I'm gonna talk about those two things in a second, but you know, all of that helped them, you know, obviously set a new record number get up over ten thousand. Now, it says Daniel Legrotneo, the GG Poker Global Ambassador and six time WSP Bracelet winner, let's get number seven this year, Daniel, he has said in his quote, he says this summer, we as in GG Poker aim to send one thousand players to their WSP Dream. Now it says to their WSP Dream. Doesn't exactly say Wspman Event, but I would have guessed that's the Wspman Event. But yeah, so if they're going to push four thousand, let's go, I'm in. Also in twenty twenty three, WSP dot Com qualified more than four hundred and fifty players into the ten K main event. They plan to exceed that number this year for twenty twenty four. So it sounds like, you know, going back to what ty Stewart said where he said the motto is bigger and better, they are certainly going. Now. One other thing that it does say a little bit buried within the press release, but it does say that details on the date and location for the WSOP Circuit season ending Tournament Champions will be announced by March fifteenth, So just about a month between now and then being March fifteenth, at least, there they're deadline for announcing that. So I haven't you know we we obviously woke up, saw the schedule, read through the press release, hopped on this podcast. You know, I haven't been on social media. I'm guessing everyone out there didn't read the press release. But you know, there might be some there might be some people freaking out that the Tournament Champions is not on the WSB schedule for twenty twenty four. But they do say again in this press release that the details on the date and location for that will be announced by March fifteenth. Why Mauch fifteen? What why March fifteenth? Is that? I have no idea. Maybe they just want to space things out a little bit. Where do you think it's going to be. Give me a guess if I was missed the WSP, you know, hold on, hold on, not if you already said earlier you are mister, so mister, give me a guess. Well, no, I meant if I was running things, I'd be putting it a paradise. Let's make these numbers big. Let's let's blow out Paradise even bigger than last year. And we're going to kick off WSP Paradise with a Tournament of Champions. That's how I would do it. Now, how are they going to do it? I'm not sure. Maybe it's something at Horseshoot in December, a Tournament of Champion series. Maybe there's you know, ten prelims and then there's the Tournament of Champions. I don't think they're going to go back to where was it was it Cherokee where they used to do the National Championship. I don't think they'll do that. But I think the I think the idea of the National Championship is has been transitioned into what is now the Tournament of Champions. Yeah, so look, they're My two guess is Paradise was what I would do to try and get bigger numbers, or I wouldn't be surprised to see something, you know, maybe early December at the Horseshoe, the Tournament of Champions series. Uh, you know, maybe it's eight bracelet events, so maybe it's fifteen ring events something like that into the Tournament of Champions. That'd be my leading candidates for when they may bring this back. I will say this, I do now that I think I was. I was originally about to say that I agree with you. Paradise sounds like the answer. But now that I think about this, so you like my horseshoe idea or some variation, let me just talk it out. So I'm obviously a big marketing guy. I'm a big pr guy. Like I'm a big brand type of guy. Like I'm always thinking about that sort of stuff. Right, So if I'm thinking about how I'm going to come out and announce this, then here's what I know. If I say, Okay, we're gonna do the WASITB schedule, we'll put it in there that you know, the dates in the location for the Tournament Champions are gonna come out at a later date, you know. Now they put March fifteenth. In here now WSB Paradise has not been announced that it's coming back, right, it was nothing yet. No, So if you come out and say the Tournament Champions is taking place in the Bahamas at Dobasipy Paradise, you're announcing wasip Paradise? Now? Is that is? That is just coming out and saying that the Tournament Champions is going to take place there? Is that? Like it's it's Is it a few different things? Is it one? A kind of a really lackluster way to announce WSITY Paradise, You know, well, yeah, but you should want to come on and be like, wasit paradise is back? Boom, it's having this, this and this this has been guarantees blah blah blah whatever. I think you would also want to do that in the summertime because everything now, everything you're doing now is about the twenty twenty four WSP So point, yeah, good point. You come out with that like it's I mean, it's it's Friday February sixteenth. They said by March fifteenth, so within the month they're going to change like the what they want people talking about to Tournament Champions being in the Bahamas. If that were would be the case, which which shifts the eyeballs from the wasp in the summer, I would not want to do that. So so I'm kind of like thinking that maybe it's in Vegas, like maybe it's the hundredth event. Yeah, see, like that's kind of what That's what I'm getting at here. I'm with you now, I'm calling an audible on Paradise. I'm going to keep my December horseshoe idea alive. But I think I think you're onto something. I mean, because it doesn't it doesn't it doesn't make sense if you're doing it at Paradise to like put to word this sense like you did, Like you would just say like details on the dayt and location would be announced at a later date like end of story. Like that's all you say. You don't put by March fifteen, because then that does everything that I just talked about. So I'm over here trying to connect some dots. So that's that's what I think, and that that makes a lot of sense. Like you come out with the message this is the hundredth event, and then also you said earlier you said why by March fifteenth, Well, I'll tell you why, mister WSP Tim Duckworth. It's spring break. You got to give people time to travel. You can't. You can't announce the Tournament of Champions if it's going to take place as the one hundredth event in Las Vegas, you know, at the end of July or whenever the heck it's going to be. I'm assuming if it's going to be the hundredth event, that'll probably be at the end. You can't drop that in the first week of May because all these people that have won into it like might be tied up. You have to drop it soon, right, So I think that's why they said by March fifteenth, so they give all those people enough time. Now, the kind of the negative here is is I think like there's still a little bit of unknown around it. So this comes out if you're a circuit grinder, maybe you don't read this press release, which is pretty long. You know, I'm not. I I mean, we're going through it. I got highlight of Marker all over it and blah blah blah. But like I'm guessing poker players aren't necessarily doing that. So maybe poker players just see it that it's not on the schedule, and then they're just kind of like, well, Okay, I'm not going to go as hard at the circuit, right, Yeah, like that that's kind of the negative. And then you might hear about it by March fifteenth. Yeah, hey it's coming back whatever, but you might have missed an event or two in the middle, so that would be kind of the one negative play there. So yeah, I'm going to go ahead and say that it's going to be the one hundredth of event at the recipe. Again, I'm just totally guessing here, but we're spending weight. I'm on literally one sentence. I mean, I think the I think the whole that that's what I think is kind of like they say details on the Dayton location. I mean I think it's just horseshoe Like. I'm not like they just put it in there. I mean, what are they gonna do? The problem is there's no way to put on the schedule. Well maybe it's like you know the eighteenth, I mean July eighteenth. I have no idea just out a day. They're already getting kicked out and no, it's not gonna happen. Can you do it on? No? Youay off? No, because it's a three day event, and then if you do it in the middle, you you lose the people at the end. If anything, it's got to be the opening event, and then every number has to increase by one. Yeah, I mean yeah, I think I think my idea is I think I'm going back. I'm off your idea. I'm back on my horseshoe. December December twelfth TOOC in Vegas, streamed on PokerGO dot Com. No, I don't know. I'm just guessing, but it could be after Paradise. You get Vegas during the World Series, right, And when I say World Series, I'll give you May June July in case they change the dates, right, I'll give you that, and I'm taking I'll take the Horseshoe later in the year. Yeah, yeah, and I usually, I mean it's it's you know, one hundred and seventy five degrees outside, so I'm usually getting in an ice coffee and usually machines that make ice coffee for you at home. You know, there's just think No, they don't, Yes, they do. Get out of here anyway. We've spent way too much time on literally one sentence in a in a press release with four hundred censes. Next up they are bringing back it sounds like main event Mania Mania spelled m A y hint hint because it takes place in May and I A. So that's great. It's the it's THEBA sip's official Guaranteed Sea Qualifier Series. It's going to be returning in twenty twenty four through various land based satellite partners. They mentioned participating locations being Horseshoe, Saint Louis, Grand Victoria Casino, Elgin, Harris, Harrah's Cherokee excuse me, hair or Horseshoe, Tunica, Harris, Pompano Beach, Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Turning Stone, Horseshoe, Las Vegas, Foxwood's Greaton Casino and Resorts. So I mean that I know that that you know helped pump a bunch of people, and I think Fox would sent a ton of people. I think they told us that last year. So very cool. And then of course listen, the most important paragraph in the entire press release is the one that says poker Go, the largest poker content company and streaming platform, returns the official live streaman production partner of the WAP. I won't read the entire paragraph because it basically says that poker goes back. We are going to be live streaming every event. No, don't paint us in a corner like you are mister WSP. You're not mister poker Go. Okay, just remember that. Yeah, that's carry. So basically, now that we have the schedule, it is out there. It is locked in. You know. Now poker Go is you know, we've obviously been working with the WSP and like you know, trying to figure out, like, you know, what we're gonna do for the summer. As a general sense, now that we have like the full puzzle laid out in front of us, now we go through and we kind of go like, okay, we're gonna do this, We're going to do that this this day is that this day might be this or this, Like, you know, we go through and we try and come out with a plan. So I don't know what that is yet. You know, we're gonna take probably a couple of weeks to figure that all out. Well, we we're gonna lock it in today. Come on, what else we're gonna do with that weekend? I think we Well, I'm going to a wedding and a kid's birthday party, both things I don't want to do. It sounds like you need to print off the schedule and take it is printed. I'm holding it in my hand. They just printed the press. Sorry, Oh yeah, yeah, I'm holding I'm beginning to print the schedule so you can, uh, you know, figure out what we're going to stream to the for the people. Yeah, I mean my my my push will be that we stream every single day. Like that's gonna be my push to our team. Like whatever we do, I almost don't care what we do on every single day, I just want streaming, right, Like that's what Yeah, and I think we I think we actually had one day off last year. Yeah, but that was during the main event, Like that was the but like even an event, we should there's other stuff going on, like finals. We can do. You know what, as you've been talking, I've been looking into streaming day off during the main event. We got some potential. We got maybe a fifty K high roll the final table ten K six max final, that's thee. We got some juicy stuff, we got some stuff the yeah. I mean, listen, I I want to come at now speaking from the production side of things, because that is what Poker Grow is involved with. Like to me, we are I believe it's is NBC with the Olympics, like we are NBC. What NBC is to the Olympics, we are that to the wa CP, right and in a lot of ways. You know, the dovasp is the Olympics of poker. You know, a bunch of different gold medals aka gold bracest stuff for grab, all different types of variants, blah blah blah. Now, at least as far as I know, when the Olympics are running, NBC is putting stuff on TV, right, So I would like to put stuff out there live streams, online, pokergrow dot com, the app, you know, possibly on the YouTube channel, et cetera. So the most we can do I think that we should constantly push for that so you know, hopefully we can you know, we can get that through with the decision makers and you know, make our case and do the best that we can. You know, first and foremost, Tim and Ill we will always say we are poker fans first. That's why we got into this industry, That's why we love it so much. So, you know, we're very much for the viewers out there. You know, when the viewers are like, why aren't you doing this? Why aren't you doing that? Tim and I probably complained about it too, to be honest. So you know we do a lot of yelling and complaining and whining and crying behind closed doors to our own managers and bosses and all that sort of stuff. But into each other, yeah, into each other. Well, we'll try and put together the best coverage schedule that we can. You know, it benefits everyone in poker. The more that poker is out there, the more that it is able to be viewed, especially in event as big and badass as the WSP, you want as many eyeballs on it as possible because at the end of the day, you know, if people see it and they're like, that's freaking cool. I want to go out to Las Vegas and play in that. I mean for myself, for Tim, for for so many people in the industry. I mean, that's how we got excited. You know, whether was Chris Moneymaker, whether it was a year before that or after that, you probably saw it somewhere and you're like, that's awesome. I'm in let's go right. So that's what we try and do now. So try and do that as much as possible, and hopefully we can reach more people than ever before. So that's the plan. For the live streaming stuff will be hard at work, you know, grinding through that and trying to put together a schedule out there. I will say that like we did last year, we probably won't come out with a firm like you know, on this day, it's this event, on this day, it's this event, just because you know, we have done that before. I think my first year with Poker Girl we did that, Like, yeah, we have to change June eighth, it's this tournament. June nine, it's this tournament. Like and the reason why you don't want to do that is you just because I thinks so many things change, I mean, like everything is changing. Like maybe you're planning on doing like the ten kplo, but then in some three thousand dollars I don't know oe tournament like Nigron and help we make the final table. Well, you know, what do people want to see? Well, the'll probably gonna want to see riding negroni and helmets, right, so you have to pivot. But if you put it out there that's going to be this one event, then people get mad. So we you know, we kind of try and keep it flexible. Yeah, we'll have an idea what we might want to do on a certain day, and we'll have like, okay, on this day, this would be like priority number one, this would be priority number two, or maybe option number one, option number two, whatever. So that's probably how we'll go about that. So you know, just look for like a I guess a schedule idea. Again, we're going to be pushing for streaming every single day, probably not starting on May twenty eighth, but hopefully starting like June first something like that. Most importantly is the WSBY main event. I'm assuming we'll be doing every day of that. Last year, we did the first four days, so the starting flights all took place on the horseshoe, like secondary table stream whatever, you want to call it, and that was done through the Poker gro YouTube channels also on pokergrow dot com and then let into kind of the main coverage that took place, you know, on the Poker Go main stage, all that sort of stuff, starting with the Day twos and onwards. So maybe we do something similar like that, but again, just stay tuned overall, because we will certainly be letting you guys know as soon as possible. And all I will ask is that those of you out there who watch poker grow, whether you are someone who is a current subscriber and you maintain that subscription, or whether you are someone who maybe you just come around and get back in there for WSP time. Whoever you are, tell a couple people about it. You know, the more people that we ultimately get watching poker, the better it is for everyone in this game, and we can grow it all together. As things stand, ninety nine Live Gold Bracelet events are announced right now May twenty eighth through July seventeenth, Cross between Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris, Las Vegas down on the Las Vegas Strip.
