Well, he's about sixty eight years old. And well, as PSA started going up, In fact, he 69 00:05:16.319 --> 00:05:24.439 started going up about four years ago. So back in Cooperstown, his PSA 70 00:05:24.720 --> 00:05:30.000 was four, and well, usually when PSA is four, we start suggesting 71 00:05:30.079 --> 00:05:34.600 some work up, and sad to say, nothing happened. So this is all recent his biopsy was 76 00:05:51.319 --> 00:05:57.240 just done a few days ago in Cooperstown. Coopertown is where the Baseball Hall 77 00:05:57.279 --> 00:06:01.800 of Fame is, or several universities in that area. And I say that 78 00:06:01.839 --> 00:06:04.639 because you have a better and breakfast. So people come and stay with him, 79 00:06:04.680 --> 00:06:06.920 who go to the Hall of Fame. People stay with him. They 80 00:06:06.959 --> 00:06:12.040 go whose children usually go to the universities, and they come and visit on 81 00:06:12.120 --> 00:06:15.560 Parents' Day in other days. And then the man said, well, I know. So urologist is 99 00:07:29.360 --> 00:07:32.279 someone who studies the urinary system, but it actually is a surgeon. It's 100 00:07:32.319 --> 00:07:36.000 not a study er. It's a surgeon, someone who cuts on the urinary 101 00:07:36.079 --> 00:07:41.600 system, whether it's the bladder or the kidney, or the prostate or the 102 00:07:41.680 --> 00:07:46.199 urethra, the system that makes you're in a collection and then pushes you an 103 00:07:46.240 --> 00:07:50.279 out. So what did the patient do? First thing? As soon as 104 00:07:50.279 --> 00:07:55.000 he got out of the eurologist office, he calls up our office and say, 105 00:07:55.079 --> 00:07:59.240 can I come and see doctor Liederman immediately? And of course we made 106 00:07:59.279 --> 00:08:05.279 a spot for him immediately, and I saw him and his wife. He brought his pathology, he brought his PSAs. And then we sat down and talked to him and 111 00:08:22.360 --> 00:08:26.639 went through his records. And he's got lots of symptoms. He has some discomfort. He had no blood except when he 114 00:08:37.720 --> 00:08:41.759 had the biopsy. He had a little bit of blood in the urine. 115 00:08:41.879 --> 00:08:43.960 And we went over the data and I examined him and I found he had 116 00:08:45.000 --> 00:08:48.440 a large prostate. Otherwise, he's in great shape and he works out as 117 00:08:48.440 --> 00:08:52.559 a man who goes to the gym and works out most every day. For glease In seven cancer, success 124 00:09:20.759 --> 00:09:24.320 with surgery by the most famous surgeon, not this doctor in Cooper's town, 125 00:09:24.399 --> 00:09:28.759 or the doctor down the street, or the doctor's most convenient is only forty 126 00:09:28.919 --> 00:09:35.960 six percent success, which means fifty four percent of the time the cancer comes 127 00:09:35.159 --> 00:09:39.879 back. In the data from Harvard Medical School shows about ninety eight 134 00:10:09.120 --> 00:10:13.320 percent of the men have damage to their sex life. And you know what 135 00:10:13.320 --> 00:10:18.960 that means at about eighty percent or leaking urine. And also because when you 136 00:10:18.000 --> 00:10:22.480 remove the prostate and the urethral, the urethra is a tube where the urine 137 00:10:22.600 --> 00:10:26.320 travels. So when the urine leaves the bladder and goes out, the penis. 138 00:10:26.679 --> 00:10:31.399 It bypasses right through the middle of the prostate through the urethra.
