Hello, everyone, Welcome back to a new episode of the Poker Go Podcast. My name is Donny Peters. I'm joined by Tim Duckworth, who is not happy with me because I was doing extra long preparation for this podcast and he hated it because Tim doesn't like to pre prepare. That's a lie. That's a straight out a lie. You just wanted to go with. You've been doing enough and all that I wanted to go without. How you want to stop prepping at one am when I've got everything else done and I've got a ductor disappointment in six hours. As you guys will hear, there are there is. There is one person on this podcast who conducted two end of day interviews, and there was another person who didn't conduct any end of day And did I conduct any interviews at all? Though I didn't say that, I said I said end of day interviews. We could tally up the interviews done all summer and I've got you tenfold. No, you're at the door like Nick b and I'm flying up the counts, hey man. But if I'm out the door like NICKI Rigby, that means you've got super lucky on the river, buddy. Okay, Day six of the World Series of Poker Main event is in the books. Only forty nine players remain, all vine for the twelve point one million dollars first place prize Brass. That's right. Those forty nine players come from a record setting field of ten thousand and forty three entries. Everyone remaining is guaranteed at least one hundred and eighty eight thousand, four hundred dollars. The next page jump is up to two hundred and twenty nine thousand when they get to the final forty four players. So that's where things stand right now. The plan for Day seven on Thursday, July thirteenth, I believe it's to play on the five levels in full, take this thing down to I would say probably the final three tables. I'll say, like they'll get down to like twenty one. Oh, it's ambitious. I mean, they've everyone keeps telling me they're gonna slow down starting like on the bubble, they're gonna slow like getting close to low, They're gonna slow it on. They're gonna slow them. There's been no slowing down. So you know what, I understand what the mass says. I get it, Like that's what people lean on when they say this. But you know what, I'm gonna say. I'm gonna go by what my eyes tell me. And these guys ain't slowing down. They're absolutely blasting away. Yes they ah, So that's what we're going with. Um. I do think once they get down to whatever they get down to tomorrow, I do think that next day is gonna be pretty slow. It's gonna be a grind. But I mean, then again, who knows could surprise me. When we got down towards the end of day six, there was what fifty something players remain and then all of a sudden, boom, boom, boom, was like six eliminations in twenty minutes. It was like, what's happening? What's going on? And here we are leading the way. Joshua Pain he's got forty seven million, nine hundred and fifty thousand in chips. Juan Massierras has forty million, five hundred thousand, and then it's a pretty big gap until we get to the next player, and that's Daniel Wineman, who has twenty four million, three hundred and seventy five thousand. In total. There are seven players who bagged up twenty million or more. There's Pain, there's Massierras, there's Wineman. Then there's also Richard Ryder twenty two million, six hundred and fifty thousand, Tim Vanlu twenty one million, seven hundred thousand, Alec Terrelli twenty one million and seventy five thousand, and Daniel Scraggin's twenty million, eight hundred thousand. So we've got Josh pain is soaring, We've got Daniel Wineman tops the notable pro list in terms of where he is on the chip count standing. We're gonna talk about, you know, who fell on the day because we lost a lot of big names. We lost a lot of the story lines that we were tracking. We'll get into that. We'll also hit on some other stuff that happened here at Horseshoe Slash Paris Chief. Among the other stuff is Josh Rrier winning gold Bracelet number six. He won the twenty five k horse. You got Samuel Burnabou won the twenty five dollar no limit hold him Yang Wang leads the final forty four players in the fifty thousand dollars high Roller, but does their registration until tomorrow. Yeah, so that's not the final forty four players. I shouldn't said that. You had more than seven thousand players entered the six hundred dollar Ultra stack, including one of our own twenty five K Fantasy Ian Steinman, bagged up of pallet chips. On day one, A Dustin gold Clang leads the final thirty five players in the three K PLO six max. Is our boys still in over there? Gordo, Hello, is he still in? Come on? Help me out here? This short deck tournament that happened? Was that? What it was? Yeah, fastest tournament in the history of mankind. Um, it's down to nine players in one day. And we'll hit on what's coming up, and then of course we gotta talk on uh Tim's favorite poker tournament, the tournament down the street. As Mike Mattisow once said an old podcast, the kittie game is down the street. Just kidding. It's not a kiddie game, but we will. We will hit on the WPT everyone for one drop of Gordo still in? Does that a good thing? Well? What do you mean? He's in the chip counts but they have one extra. Oh god, my lord, we gotta sweat it. Oh yeah, yeah, unbelievable. Oh, end of day chip counts will come through. Oh, Oh no, it doesn't look like it. I'm say, Oh my gosh, you're killing me. Hey, don't blame me, absolutely shuffle obsolutely killing me. All right, well, it looks like we lost Corrido on the three kplo short of the field bonus two, which is a bit of a bummer. But oh well, things happened, no big deal. All right, let's get into this WSP Main Event, Day six once again a little bit of a reset. Ten thousand, forty three entries in this record setting twenty twenty three World Series at Poker Main Event, largest main event ever by a huge margin. Previous best eight thousand, seven hundred and seventy three entries back in two thousand and six. That two thousand and six main event was won by, of course, Jamie Gold. He took home a twelve million dollars prize when he won that the record for the largest field size and also largest first place prize in the history of the main event. That record stood. Both those records stood for seventeen years, broken this year. So the field size smashed it ten thousand, forty three this year. And then they went finagled the payouts a little bit so that the winner of this year's main event gets twelve million, one hundred thousand, so a little bit more than the money that Jamie Gold won seventeen years ago. I mean, speaking of Daniel Wineman, I talked to him afterwards. He's feeling good about everything. He bagged up more than twenty four millions, twenty four three hundred and seventy five thousand. He won a really big hand. Wait, you did two interviews? I did, I did two interviews. He won a really big hand, shut up busting Chris Lee a KA genius twenty eight. He busted Chris Lee on a hand where they were playing on the main feature table at the time. Tim Van Lu raised to two hundred and twenty five thousand with the big blind at one hundred thousand, Van Lou had queens. Then Massado Yoko Sawa called, holding ten nine of hearts. Chris Lee was on the shorter side about fourteen and a half Big linds. He moves all in for one point four to four million. Um. Wineman has Ace king of spades and he's in the big blind, so he makes the call, and then Van Lu also calls. Yoko Sawa has got that ten nine of hearts, but he puts that hand into the muck. So Chris Lee is all in with a chance to triple up. Here Wineman and Van Lu are on the side. The flock comes Ace Ace nine, giving Wineman the lead. With trip aces. He leads out for a small bed eight hundred thousand. Van Lou calls he's only on a see one street though six clubs comes on the turn Wineman bets again one point two five million, Van lu gets out of the way. Chris Lee sees the bad news that he's up against trip bases needing a jack. Jack does not come on the river. The river is an eight, and Chris Lee is eliminated. Dan Wyman shoots up to what I believe at the time put him up over ten million in chips, and then he had a pretty good day from there, and you guys will hear from him right now, all right, Daniel Wyeman, end of day six looks like you put over twenty four million in the bag. How did the day go for you? Went really well? Started with like I don't remember when I started. It's kind of like a world in at this point, but I had like a bad first level, got down to like three point five million or so. Start at the first level where I was under one hundred biggs for the first time in the tournament, which is like crazy, how good this structure is. And then kind of caught some heat, went to the feature, kind of blasted around a little bit there, want a big three way flip, kind of hung around ten eleven million for most of the day, and then got kings versus checks, and a big spot to get out kind of pick up some blinds after that. How are you dealing with the long grind, the marathon structure of this whole thing. Maybe lack of sleep put adrenaline keeping you up. How are you dealing with it all? I don't know, better than I thought I would be from your friend. Let's see, I've been sleeping really well. Not playing like a full summer has definitely helped me. I went home for a month, so just being back out here for the main I'm definitely super fresh coming in even though we're, you know, seven days into this thing now, but feeling good. And last question, here, are you having fun? Having a blast man? Focus? A lot more fun when you don't play seven days a week. If you couldn't tell through the interview, very happy had a smile on his face the whole time that he was talking to me, and he's looking he's looking good. If you was good going forward? I think Sean Deep, him and Shaun Deep have a swap um they were he you know, Jeeves Deep's been coming over here checking on him. Deep did cash the three k PLO six Max then busted when fired at least one bullet over in the fifty k high roller busted that. Hell, he fired two bullets. Great for me. He's doing very well for our fantasy team. Come on, Sean, let's go pick it up. I mean, I feel like the whole He and Matakis thing is getting to him. He's all he said, He's okay, he's fine. I don't know, man, he keeps busting all these tournaments, all right. So kind of the headliner coming in, I would say probably the headliner and Nicholas Rigby up on the main feature. But the Big Rig didn't have too many chips, like what one point six million something like that, one point six one point seven million coming into the day. So on day five he had peaked at one point at over seven million. So the Big Rig was swinging like he was all over the map, as you would expect from Nick Nicholas Rigby's playing style. Someone was say, swerving on the highway for the Rig all over the place, just hands off the wheeling all over the place. So he loses some chips early, he gets some chips back, then he gets all in with pocket jacks against Diego Daquilio's ace king. I think he shoved for around like fourteen big Blinds is what it was. So he's got pocket Jacks Verst Aquilio's Ace King. It comes jack ten, deuce, luck it up, double up, time six on the turn, Bubble up, Bam. Queen on the River takes out Nicholas Rigby. I mean, listen, you live by the sword, you die by the sword. How many times did we see Rigby put a beat on someone? So you gotta figure out. Eventually the variants is going to swing back around. Not that it's what we wanted to see. We wanted the Big rig show to continue. But he does hit the rail in one hundred and thirty first place, taking home sixty seven thousand, seven hundred dollars. We also lost Ryan Brown today. Ryan Brown friend of the podcast. He's got to be a friend of the podcast. He does he listen? Yeah, he's a listener. He's a listener. After we called him out and we said he is a one to watch, well, I said it, I said Ryan Brown is a one to watch. Did well on day five. Of course, you know he won that massive hand against Stuart Taylor and Bill Klein when he had the Ace Queen against Aces and Kings and hit Broadway on the River Ryan Brown falls in one hundred and fourteenth place takes home sixty seven thousand, seven hundredllars that same payout racket as Nicholas Rigby. We already talked about Chris Lee busting out in that big hand with Daniel Wineman. Chris Lee's official finishing position in the twenty twenty three main event was one hundred and eighth place for sixty seven seven hundred dollars. Another player taking home sixty seven thousand, seven hundred dollars Christian Harder. He went out when he got it all in with ace king. He had the ace of hearts. I'll tell you why that's notable. In a second against Laurn Potito's pocket force, the flop comes ten sixty four all hearts, so that ace of hearts is very much in play for Christian Harder. Seven of hearts on the turn gives Harder the flush, but then a ten on the river pairs the board, ripping it all away, giving the pot to Potito, eliminating Harder in one hundred and seventh place. He takes home sixty seven thousand and seven hundred dollars. Nikita Luther not the best day to start. She had a bad kind of ending to day five. She comes into day six still pretty healthy on chips, but she loses some chips. Then she's all in. But she's in a great spot. She's got Ace King up against Andrew Holmes Ace Queen, she's poised to double. She's dominating in this spot. It comes five to five deus from the top, but wham, another killer queen here, this time on the turn. The Queen comes on the turn nine on the river, does not put Luther back in the league, and she's out in ninety sixth place for seventy eight nine hundred dollars. Then after that, Nate Silver hits the rail, another big name fallen by the wayside. Nate Silver gets it all in on a seven six deuce flop with pocket sixes, only to run smack dab into Henry Chance pockets sevens set overset with fewer than one hundred players remaining in the dubiscremin event. What a freaking brutal way to go. Turning River don't help Silver and he's out in eighty seventh place ninety two thousand, six hundred dollars. Last woman standing. Estelle Coyuet gets it all in with King ten. She's up against raj Varaz Ace Queen. It comes nine nine eight Ace King, so Coyuet drawing dead on the turn. She did become the last woman standing after Nikita Luther busted out before her, and Coyuett finished in sixty eighth place for one hundred and thirty thousand, three hundred dollars. We also lost Tony Dunst on the day. He finished shortly after Couette did. He busted in sixty sixth place. His hand was kind of crazy, Tony. He was doing well and then he got very short. Andrew Home opens it up to three hundred and twenty five thousand, with the big blind up two hundred and fifty thousand. He was under the gun. Ryan Tausick put into three bets to eight hundred thousand. From the next position, Tony dunts calls all in for five hundred twenty five thousand. It folds back to Home. He makes the call flop comes Queen ten six with two diamonds the Queen and the ten of diamonds. Home checks tas six hundred thousand. Home makes the call. Turns an ace not a diamond, but it is the second spade. Home and Tausick both check rivers the jack of diamonds. Remember Queen Tenner diamonds on the flop. Now the jack of diamonds comes on the river. Home slides out one million, eight hundred and twenty five thousand. Tassick quickly folds. Daunst shows king Queen so flops top pair backs into Broadway. But it's no good because Home rolls over nine eight of diamonds for a straight flush. So see later. Tony kind of just inside yesterday. Yesterday we talked about like how like electric they hands or today was just like bad basity. It was like it was like shocking hands, like you know, like like obviously the hands were like exciting, but like it was a different type of exciting. It was like what like that happened? Huh, Like how you know to certain players too, we just mentioned like Nick Nikita, like yeah, it was I mean it was ridiculous. Yeah, Christian Harder you know, turns the flush wherever the full house like it was just it was wild. So yeah, So Tony Dunst goes out in sixty six place, his first time cashing the main events since two thy ten. He took home one hundred and thirty thousand, three hundred dollars, and he's gonna have a quick turnaround because I think he's got one day off before he gets on a plane to Korea for a WPT stop. So say he's gonna go home, maybe play some tennis tomorrow. He was talking to Jeff Platt afterwards in the Rsarry Carrascott in the post elimination interview, um, and then he's gonna head on over to Korea. We also lost John Raisner, former runner up in the World Series of Poker main event. He finished runner up to Jonathan Duhamel back in the day. Rasner gets it all in with Ace King versus Alexander Villa's pocket nines, doesn't win. He's out in fifty third place for one hundred and eighty eight thousand, four hundred dollars. Then we lost Zachary Hall you spoke to yesterday, was the overnight chip leader. Comes into today with over sixteen million. Next thing you know, he's short, like out of nowhere, like he just it seemed like it was just a day where he didn't win any hands, like literally at all. So he gets it all in on his final hand towards the end of the night with King Queen. He's up against Joshua Paine's pocket tens Hall does not win. He's out in fifty first place also for one hundred and eighty eight thousand, four hundred dollars, so that leaves us with forty nine players remaining. Ultimately, Joshua Payne again chip leader forty seven million, nine hundred and fifty thousand. Also, right at the end of the nights, we get a huge hand on the feature table or the sorry, the secondary feature table between Massado Yokis, who is a huge star in Japan in the poker streets. He's a big vlogger, um, you know, really big star. Every time we seem to like talk about him on social media or SHAW on the broadcast or whatever, the Japanese fans just come out in full force. It's absolutely incredible. He gets set over set as well. And I believe he was up against the Brazilian player. Yeah, da Silva. Okay, da Silva. So he's up against Da Silva. It's Carlos Enrique da Silva. They get it all in. I believe it was eight ten six twos ten eight six sorry ten eight six deus the clubs on the town. The king of hats on the river Da Silva moves all in Masada calls and he's showing the bad news. Yeah, so that that didn't bust Massada, but it did leave him with around three million in chips um so not the best of it. Um Da Silva, you know, gets up over ten million. He had a big Brazilian rail that was growing towards the end of the night. So I can only expect tomorrow for day seven on Thursday, that that Brazilian rail is going to grow. Um. I spoke with Massado afterwards. I believe that was either the last hand of the second to last hand of the day at his table um. But Massado did seem still in good spirits and I caught up with him at the end of the day to talk about him. All right, Massado, Yoko Sawa end of day six, I know the end didn't go your way where you're still in Yeah. Fortunately, yes, I behad like ide the number. I mean the tick on the parson Foo made a day seven of the dam in like Japanese or Japanese Breyer. And you know the fast ever, the prayer who made a day seven is my friend, I mean my Patla YouTube. So you know now our chando made day seven like together, only like two Japanese people right now, so it's proud of it. I'm proud of it. How does it feel to have the support of the country, the support of everyone behind you from Yeah, I think it's nearly good for me. I'm in. You know, I can keep folk cars and you know, um, I feel like I'm a little bit lucky than usual, I guess. So it's very very good. I like it. I love it. Are you gonna be able to sleep tonight? I know you had a rough last hand there. It was set over set, but you're still in, so yeah, for sure, I will three up, like you know, if I have bigger chips, like I cannot sleep because I'm exciting that, you know now I can't sleep like ten hours? Man, How is it playing under the bray lights, the cameras all that sort of stuff? Like I think I'm you know, just normal because you know, I play so many our streaming game like Casher game and also EPT streaming table, so it's okay for me. I'm in. It's just normal. And then last question, are you having fun? Yes? So much, even though I lost a set of a set. I still you know, I'm leaving. I'm just still in. So it's fun. So we'll see if he can turn things around coming into tomorrow. I believe the Big Blind will be what two hundred and fifty thousand, Yeah, that sounds I think it finished at one hundred two hundred thousand, and so it'll probably go up to either one hundred two fifty or one fifty two fifties something like that, or maybe I don't know. I think the Big blundbly two hundred fifty thousand. So, you know, short but certainly not out for Yoko Sawa. So we'll see how he progresses in the early going of Day seven on Thursday. Um, so, I mean that pretty much wraps up our talk of Day six. Another fun day. You know, we lost a lot of big names, of course, but now is the time when a lot of these other stories are going to start emerging. You know, we're gonna start finding out about these players left in the field, see who they are, you know, what their backgrounds are, where they might come from, if their poker players, if they're not, if they're just taking shots, all that sort of stuff. And yeah, hopefully we'll be able to relay a lot of that information to you guys through the podcast. Of course, we now in the time of the w Steam, an event where all the live coverage, all the live steams are on Poker Grow, So please tune on in if you aren't doing so already. It's gonna be a wild, wild ride from here on out, starting with Day seven on Thursday, all the way until we get a winner. On Monday, July seventeenth, a twelve point one million dollar winner is on the horizon current shop Valley. How much do you think it is? Um? What was it yesterday when you said it? There's a six hundred ninety six thousand. Yes, it's gotta be like it's gotta be one point four five one point nine million point night. Chop it up, nap take that? Would you? No? No, I'm playing happy if you playing for a retirement, but happy if you had Mitchell Howison's chip stack at one point one five million, Well, are we doing an m even money? No? I'd probably still just what let's yellow it. You're crazy. Here's my thing. How often are you going to be down to the final forty nine players in the World Series of Poker main event? That just take your shot. We just saw the chip lay to bust from last nights chip lay to app Yeah, but it's about having this opportunity, and you probably get this opportunity maybe once in your poker career, maybe twice if unless I'm top five, I think I'm taking this because you're a knit. One point nine million, bro, You're a nit. You're a knit. That's that's what you currently guaranteed. I don't care. That's really good. I don't care. You're playing to win twelve million. You're not playing really nice right now? Yeah, two million sounds nice. Uncle Sam's gonna take you know, seven hunk of that. Have fun. He takes about a third. Okay, I'm claiming back. I want to be claimed back. What are you? We have a different tax lews. You are not Australian anymore. You are full on American. Your teeth are fallen out. You're American. It's the same tooth and it's not and it gets a cramp and it keeps falling out. It was a temporary. It's falling out how many times this? Three? Three times three in like ten days. It's a set because it's not they're not like I just want the people to know that that you are so unhealthy, you're too fast, you don't understand it to crawn and so it's glued on. And as far as concerned, your tooth falls out, that's not how about once every other week. The first time came out because of some bad candy, but the rest is just it's just they couldn't glue it improperly. No, they kind of glue a temping. You just gonna take care of yourself. Man. Look, I'm gonna tell her to pull the concrete in the mouth tomorrow. Make sure that shit ain't going anyway. All right, Let's move on to the twenty five thousand dollars horse one hundred and twelve entries. In this one, josh Aria takes it down his sixth WSP gold bracelet. He also wins seven hundred and eleven thousand dollars His gold bracelets are Now, what do you mean? What are they tell me? Well, I didn't know what you're prepping me for, but okay, the statuta, I didn't know where you were going with this. I didn't know where you were going like they hidden in storage whatever. Twenty twenty three earlier, this summer, ten k limit hold him three hundred and sixteen thousand. Twenty twenty one, he won two bracelets and the Player of the Year. He won the ten K PLO High Low for four hundred and eighty four thousand, and he won the fifteen hundred PLO for two hundred and four thousand. We're going to go all the way back two thousand and five at billions two thousand dollars PLO for three hundred and eighty one thousand, nineteen ninety nine three K limit hold him two hundred and two thousand. Josh Area is only one of two players to have win a WSP bracelet in three different venues. Can you name the other? He's only one of how many two players of two players to win a w supe bracelet in the hum correct, that's right, Phoebe. Let's go some other stats for Josh moves. It moves to more than nine point four a million dollars in WSP earnings. He's now eleventh on the PGT leaderboard with thousand and eighty four PGT points And wait is that real? By the way, which which fun are you? Including the other venues? Like? No, no, I've got the Vegas venue. Sorry, yeah, I was gonna say, ye go to six venues, I get that class Australia. Yeah, no, St Vegas. A little bit of contention on where he may sit on the POY leaderboard. You're here in the upcoming interview. She's gotta be like right in the middle of it, right, he won the second championship. He is currently second. He leaped from Shaan Deep and Crisp who are but there are some pending online results. So Sean has told us, and he says I on the interview that no, no, no, I'm actually second now and Josh you will be third. But until it's officially posted on WSP, we're gonna go with Josh moving up to second. But they definitely need to address this. It's going forward, get the online results in fast, getting the POY results updated every single nast couple every single night, you know, three am. They got to be updated. But he's about I don't know. We'll call three hundred point shy of Ian Mataikas, who is still in the three KPLO six max. But we'll get to that a little later. All right. Here is the interview with Josh Ari that tiended after Ari picked up his sixth gold racelet. Josh, congratulations bracelet number six. That's a pretty important number to you, six sixth pricet. But I think there's a more important number, and that's fifteen. Do you know the significant of fifteen? The six six six. He booked me an extra six percent in this tournament, so I taxed his ass. But he's such a good friend. He was at dinner like he's gonna lose more money when I win, and he's literally telling me all of his knowledge at dinner and it's pretty awesome. Well, the reason the reason I said fifteen is because it's fifteen more bracelet events that you can play this sum to try and overtake. You've already overtaken this guy, to try and overtake Amy Takas he's not officially overtaken me. There's two onlines now he's talking about, Oh, poy, I did because it's fifteen more events. Okay, there's some online stuff commenting the field, as always does, of today's standings. Fifty more events. Now that you're, you know, three hundred points behind the inn and a little bit behind Sean and Chris wherever the online ranks, are we going to make a run of this one? Um, I don't know. I gotta talk to Rachel, I gotta talk to my kids. Um. Probably, Um. He told me at dinner he's not gonna let me leave if I win. I don't know. I don't know. I'm really beat Like it hurts to sit in this fucking chair. I mean, I've been sitting in chair for seven weeks and uh, I don't know. It's too early. It's it's your sixth price. So you have two in lemon hold him? Omaha, pla horse? What what do you want to win your next bracelet? In anything? I don't care. He wants to be heads up with me for the next time. He wants to be heads up. I would have to be head up with a good friend. Um, it would be and it would be great to have to beat him. He makes fun of me every day, tells me how bad I am every day, and I just it'll be fun. You're up to nine point four million dollars in wsponnings. But I want to know what is more important to you. It does sound like winning gold bracelets is more important than the money. Is that pretty? It's a combination of both, Like I want to I mean, we do, we all do this for the money and um, but I mean there was just a big tournament to win, and it literally never crossed my mind to go there. So yes, I love chasing bracelets. I've said it a million times. It reminds me of being a kid just grinding every day in the pool hall. And uh yeah, I love the bracelets, but I love the money too. I'm a little bit of a stato. You are the twelfth player to in two bracelets twice in the same you know, in the same year. I think that's a pretty cool start. Sean hasn't done that's just f yi. Um, but you could have still fifteen more events. All right, Oh yes, you guys. I have to meet him everything in requirements. I have to get in the Hall of Fame before him, I do all these things. So I got I gotta work my ass off the next two years to battle with this old fucking Porto Rican easer. Like we touched on the Player of the Year, you do have a slight chance to be to join Nagrano second to win two Player of the years. That's something that's really important to solidify your career, solidify your Hall of Fame aspirations. Um. Hall of fame will come in time. It's not my time this year. Brian rast did what he had to do, and it's Brian Rash year. My time will come. It may take the election process to be changed the um. But no, dude, I've I've done pretty good. I don't need anything else. I mean, I'm I've done pretty good. That's it would be awesome, But I've done pretty good. Final question from me, I need you put your friendship aside for a little bit. Someone I can't remember his name, you know, maybe throughout a challenge at you earlier this World series called you out. Do you have anything to say back at him? Did he called me out? Yeah? I remember about winning winning the six before he wins the six. Anything you want to say, No, you already won your six. I'm only six. No, I remember you said I had to win mine before. So yeah, well I caught him again. I can't talk shit until yeah, he actually I gotta get seven. I gotta get seven. If I get to seven, then I'll talk shit. But now, dude, he's the fucking gud had ten years on me. He won two before I was even legally allowed to like anything. When did you win your first one? In ninety nine. Fuck you you were like eleven. I was, I was thirteen. I just became a teenager. One thing I overheard actually after the interview was that he was saying that he had actually emptied out. He's tb IC account cleared it out. I wasn't even sure if he was going to play the twenty five K house, but he jumped in, led him to victory. Now he's got he Now he's gonna think his fifteen more events? Want to get in? So many more events? Do I want to try and put my put my face on another bann Off and the chips. He has to, and he will. Josh's That's what how Josh is. He for sure has to. There's there's enough competitiveness within Josh that fire does burn, you know that. I think he's for sure going to chase it. You know, not only is he gonna chase another POY title, he's gonna chase another bracelet. Like that's what Josh does. So I fully expect him to be firing away for the rest of the series, getting in on everything, and we'll see how it goes. I mean, listen, maybe you know Emma take his rips off. This three k six max PLO, and then Josh says, Okay, maybe I'm not gonna go as hard, but I would expect that Josh is gonna start off going hard starting tomorrow twenty no limit hold him. Two sixty eight entries there, Spain's Samuel burnabou one at all six hundred and eighty two thousand dollars. Set Davies came into the day with a big chip lead. After having the chip lead on day one, he finished in fourth place three dollars PLO six max thirty five players have bagged. That's from a field of one thousand and thirteen injuries more than four hundred and eighty thousand dollars for the first place. Dustin Goldklang leads the way. Brandon Shack Harris is still in Player of the Year front runner, Ian Matacus is still in. Zenkai is still in Will Barry is still in. Notable eliminations include China Reem seventy ninth place, Ronald Kaiser sixty second place, Daniel mcgron You've got fifty seventh place, Lataro Guerra fifty second place, Brian Rast forty seventh, Illan Wiseman forty fifth, and Sammy Farha making a run forty third place. Michael, I mean potentially still waiting for confirmation, might be out in thirty six. Can't believe he but that's that's one table short wall a little bit. It's nine spot short of the field bones and we really could have used that because we now in second place in twenty five K Fantasy six hundred dollar Ultra Stack. So Day one a three thousand and ninety one entries and it finished with two hundred and forty three. Chase Land bagged the chipley with two million, one hundred and sixty thousand on Day one B that was today or on Wednesday four million, sorry, not four million, four thousand, like a four million players. Four thousand, one hundred and sixteen entries, three hundred and twelve hit the bag. Rossul Malbouobi bagged up three million, six hundred and fifteen thousand, So there are five hundred and fifty five players remaining from the field of seven thousand, two hundred and seven. Ian Steinman's in there, our guy, Ian Steinman, he is on our twenty five K Fantasy team. Let's go, Ian. I know you're a listener. I know he knows where the field bonus is. Because we were talking about he came over to me. He said, he said, hey, family, pot, can I get one of those hats? I said, of course you can. He's like, you sure you got one? I go, yeah, give me a minute all day we got whatever? When got one, gave me in a hat. Um we're talking, you know, I was. I was like, yeah, you know, just do it for our fantasy team. He's like, yeah, what's a top eighty one right? And I said, yep, he knows, he knows where it is, he knows the formula, he knows where he's got to go. So how many points will we get if it was the field bonus in that one? Um seventy two. Absolutely positively need it? Okay, absolutely needed. We are like what like forty points out of first place. I think something like that. I mean we just absolutely need it. We just freaking need it. Come on, just come through for us. And you know what Ian when'd embraceletts. Also, Sean mentioned some like missing online results, so maybe there that's probably gonna only be one point here. There's not a big like I've been paying every point I know for sure, like every point does matter, But you know, and I know Sean has been playing the online stuff. Um but yeah, but he's uh, I think this five online events to guy good me Sean win one of those. I could see Sean three. You know, it's crazy as I could see Sean like coming back to win Player of the Year about like winning two online events. It's like something crazy like that, like where he's you know, they're there. They don't get the spotlight that the live stuff does, you know, but they're still tournaments nonetheless, and they're still gold bracelets that are up for grabs with a lot of money. Um, so you know, I could but I could see Sean Sean winning those. That would be you know, kind of fitting given that you know, Shandee really came up, you know in the Online Realm fifteen hundred dollar short deck. This was a new addition for this year. Um, I'm pretty sure they've always had the ten k short deck, but I think this year they had the fifteen hundred. They had it before. Let me check it right now. I know Shoda Nakanishi won the ten k last year. He did. I have no idea who won a fifteen hundred sounds like he might be rival once because I thought that they added two tournaments this year, this one and the Bidogie. That was my what I thought they for sure added the Badogie. I mean that's the big guy. Yeah, I could be wrong that the short deck. It was checking. I'm checking twenty twenty one. Yeah, because I think we talked about it, how it might be too late to add it, because came came like years ago. It was like, you know, the game of the future. Everyone talked about it, but it never really fully caught on. It got caught on in you know a lot of high stakes, yeah, circles, you know, most notably the Triton Poker Series always has a bunch of a short deck events. They usually have kind of like a whole short deck portion of the schedule. And if you've watched any of that short deck action from Tridon, you'll know that this game is wild. I mean, these guys just get it in. Like with anything, the short and deck, you know, everything kind of condenses and these guys just absolutely get it in, which I think leads us to what we're going to talk about, is that they had three hundred sixty entries one hundred and eleven thousand dollars for the first place they flew down to nine on day one. It's crazy. I mean you told me earlier, you were we were in the back and you were like, there's thirteen players off it. I was like, you're lying, like a three days, Like, yeah, I actually am because there's twelve players left. Yeah, this is a three day events, three day event. It's gonna be a you know, it's gonna be a day and a half. Could have been, it could have been one day at this rate. I mean, this is insane, right, David pro Check is leading the way, tai Haa is in there, Ryan the Plant is in there, and why kyot Lee who is regular on the trade and stuff, he's in there as well. All the players are guaranteed almost eighty six hundred dollars in prize many again more than one hundred and eleven thousand dollars up top, plus the WSP Gold bracelet. Then we had the fifty thousand dollars, No them and hold him high roller kicking off today. Registration is open until one pm on day two. It's a start of day two, correct, correct? Okay, So one hundred and thirty three entries were talied today. Seems like a lot. It seems like the most insane amount of players ever. All these events are just bananas. Yeah, played well, he came from the win. Yes, he was here, played the main event, then he went over to the wind to play the WPT. Everyone for one job, then he came back over here. I mean Sergio Aguero was just enjoying retirement, blasting off his money. Yeah, absolutely love it. Hundred thirty three entries on day one of this fifty k high roll, or forty four players remain, but that number is going to go up quite a bit. We always see a bunch of day two registration. Um for this, we'll see some We'll see some new faces that didn't play on day one. We'll also see a bunch of people that didn't fire their re entry because this does allow one re entry. Hopefully one of those players is Sam's over roll, because we need it for twenty ninetyk. UM. He did bust one bullet at least today, so hopefully he didn't go through two, and hopefully he's back in there for Day two, battling with the likes of Yang Wang, who bagged up the chip lead two million, one hundred and seventy five thousand, fade or Holtz had a very good day, put one million, ninety thousand in the bag, and then Stephen Schillhabell one million, nine hundred and fifteen thousand. Those look to be the three biggest stacks. So Day two tomorrow and then we'll continue talking about this one as it goes. What's coming up well, Thursday, July thirteenth, of course, the headliner of them all, Day seven of the record shattering World Series of Poker main events. Absolutely cannot wait for this one. It has been a blast. It's been a blast to the commentary in the morning, for the little preview streams that Ramco and I do on YouTube. It's been a blast to watch the coverage of this. It's been a blast to just see the electricity build in the room. The rails are starting to grow now we're really starting to feel that we're getting deep in the Wspman events. So here we go. Everyone's guaranteed at least six figure years. One hundred and eighty eight thousand and change is what everyone has locked up. Let's go. It's on. Also on Thursday, we have the fifteen hundred dollars No Them and Hold Them shootout kicking off, we have the nineteen hundred and seventy nine dollars Poker Hall of Fame bounty. Of course, that is a nineteen hundred and seventy nine dollars buy in, because why Tim, that's when the whole of Fame was created. That is right twenty five Omaha Highlow stud Highlow. Honestly probably the worst tournament on the schedule. Why do you say that it's just like this one's just never fun to watch or follow. I know a ton of people play it and whatever. I mean, it's also one where I would even mind playing this. I like both these games, but like you're watching it, you're covering it, just two split pot limit games. You feel like you're going nowhere. It's the quicksand tournament. Yeah, because it's just you just feel like you're standing there, You're going absolutely nowhere. I think it's just a very very popular amongst the makes game commodity. And totally agree. I totally agree. So welcome I'm assuming coming back. Yeah, we'll welcome it back. And I'm assuming with the way that the numbers have been in all these events, it's gonna have like eight hundred players or something absolutely ridiculous. Right, He's just gonna be upsurd. All right, let's get into your baby WPT Everyone for One Job. Go ahead. Why don't you just give us the update on this one, because this is your this is your you you have against I'm just telling you it's it's a World Series of Poker time. It's not only is a World Series of Poker time, it's WSP main event time. And you just want to cram this tournament. Hey, this is isn't even that it isn't even a real WPT tournament down. Well that's that's a big problem. But you, this is your fault saying the winner of this tournament doesn't get their name on the cup. As far as I'm concerned, it's your fault that they don't get their name on the cup. No, I want to talk about it. They would get their name on the cup if it was my if I had a decision. Yes, I agree with that. He always want us to talk about everything. So here it is WPT Everyone for One Job. Sixteen hundred and seventy six players, over three hundred and thirty five thousand dollars raised for the one Jump charity came into coming into day two, five hundred and thirty seven players we are now down to seventy one and it's the summer of Ben Wang. He's doing it again, he's but he's doing it again on the WPT. He's the chip leader. So crazy to me that like some players only do well in like like some players only do well at the WSP. Some players only do well in the WSP circuit, like winning a bunch of rings. Some players only do well in the EPT. Some players only do well at the WPT. It's why some people want me to do well at South Point. That's me. That's very true. And it's not that it's not that you know, I say do well like I mean like ultimately win, like Darren Elias hasn't won a bracelet, but he's won, you know, eighty five WPT titles. Like it's just it's so crazy how that stuff works out. But Ben Wang, he's a chip. Lead to three point two eight million, h Deep Stacks Champions Cup, Bounce Team three point two million, Niko Coope two point eight so that was three point two and three point two, Thomas Connoli two point is six million, and maybe Chawu two point three Champions Club members remaining Dominic Nischi, Darren Elias Adam Win, Rob Matt g and Nettie Elliott Houdon, Noah Swartz, Joe t Hen, Char t Hen Yes he's in, and Bobby dub a boo d How do I say his name? Oh? Booty Booty by Steven Song on our twenty five fantasy team is just over there waste listen. Honestly, I'm not sure exactly how much stuff is left ws AP wise for Steven Song, I don't thank K six max. Well, yeah, but when is that? Okay, freeze down. He's definitely not playing the short tack, but when's the He'll definitely play when's the six max? The ten K six max six max is on? This is short. There's actually a lot for him. Let's go from the time he's gonna play the closer, he's gonna play the probably the ten K six max like fifteen hund just shoot that tomorrow could have played. Don't care about that thousand dollars flipping go easy points there, flipping go and get in. Yeah, but what I'm saying is a K six on Friday. I'm fully on board with Stephen's song hanging out at the wind winning two and a half million dollars coming over here feeling great for what three got the wind at his back, all the momentum, all the confidence in the world. Wins the closer, finish out the summer or something like that, you know, wins like win the closer, win the one k freeze out, win the five knee like I would take him just winning the super Turbo or whatever it is that there's one, two, three, four of the five events that are right up his alley, and then they start, which you don't care about the shoot out, right, so the closes up that starts on Saturday. Now closest thoughts on Friday, but there's a second flight correct the six max s thoughts on Friday. So that's the flipping go. That's a very busy day in the song. Whatever. Steven Stone also this four online bracelet events. He can for sure play the online stop while he's playing that. No big deal there. I saw Jeremy Osmas seventy nine place. I believe, Oh really yeah, no, no, oh wait, yeah, sorry, I got my He is out in seventy ninth place. I got my. I thought that was the chip counts okay, And when I quickly looked so whatever, no big deal. What I was gonna say, is like, you know, as it pertains to twenty five K fantasy, Steven Song is not the only player over there. It looks like Bryce Yaki's over there, Adan Mateos is over there. Did Paul Volpi get drafted to? Can't remember, but he's over there. Um, Steven Chidwick is over there, Calvin Anderson is over there. So there are a lot of players that are over there still, Yeah, you know, so, um, we'll see how that goes as it pertains to twenty five K fantasy. How many are all these guys guaranteed right now? Seventy one left should be guaranteed a good chunk of change, right, thirty five thousand, four hundred and eighty dollars, and then there'll be a page jump coming up at the top sixties four spots, thirty nine thousand, nine hundred and eighty dollars, And of course they're trying to play for a two point five million dollar winner. Pretty crazy overall. Good for the WPT. Yeah, I'm assuming you're gonna want to talk about one hundred and eleven thousand dollars one or whatever they're gonna do it happens. Of course, they also announced the million dollars on. I think it's December sixteen through eighteenth. I believe I saw think about that. Yeah, um so that one's coming. So yeah, WPT doing some pretty big things over all. All right, I don't think we have anything else to talk about, do you? Uh? Yeah? Actually, one of the last thing, okay quick, what we're probably gonna do a finale podcast. I already have some questions, but let's throw it to our listeners.
