What do you think? How do you defeat these fears that are keeping you 33 00:02:53.080 --> 00:02:59.000 from being the woman God wants you to be, to be a person of 34 00:02:59.080 --> 00:03:02.919 great faith with a great dream and a great life work. I say, remember those times I 43 00:03:44.560 --> 00:03:46.120 thought I'm going to make it, but I did. And I remember that 44 00:03:46.159 --> 00:03:49.680 time I thought it was the end, but it wasn't. And remember I 45 00:03:49.719 --> 00:03:51.719 thought it was at the bottom and I was never going to climb out, 46 00:03:51.759 --> 00:03:53.639 but I did. And remember when I thought it was all alone, but 47 00:03:53.719 --> 00:03:58.400 I wasn't. And you remember how God has helped you in little times, 48 00:03:58.719 --> 00:04:02.159 and realize He's going to help me in big times in the future. You use the tools God has given me. To take his armor and put it on David, 71 00:05:43.399 --> 00:05:46.399 his hands probably didn't even show through it, it would be comical. 72 00:05:47.199 --> 00:05:51.439 And David says this verse thirty eight to forty. They're gonna be opposition. But other people say, oh 81 00:06:23.240 --> 00:06:27.879 yeah, go ahead and go after your dream, but do it my way, 82 00:06:27.959 --> 00:06:30.160 and they're gonna try to condense you to do it their way, but 83 00:06:30.199 --> 00:06:35.759 you're not them, and it's gonna fail. I see this Saul's armor syndrome 84 00:06:36.000 --> 00:06:40.759 in businesses everywhere. Well, they're doing it that way, so we should 85 00:06:40.800 --> 00:06:45.199 do it that way. Well, not necessarily, because God doesn't create clones. 86 00:06:45.240 --> 00:06:47.160 God made you to be you, and God's gonna use you to fulfill 87 00:06:47.199 --> 00:06:50.240 the dream He asked for you your way, not the way somebody else did 88 00:06:50.279 --> 00:06:54.160 it. Verse four says if you wait for perfect conditions, 96 00:07:21.199 --> 00:07:25.160 you'll never get anything done. How many of you agree with that verse? 97 00:07:26.040 --> 00:07:30.199 Yeah, if you wait for perfect conditions, You're never gonna get started 98 00:07:30.480 --> 00:07:34.720 on your dream. This is the day to go after it. It is interesting to me that as David's going 107 00:08:09.839 --> 00:08:13.360 to take on a giant that everybody else is scared to death to take on, 108 00:08:15.199 --> 00:08:20.800 he didn't get any encouragement from anybody, not a single word of encouragement 109 00:08:20.079 --> 00:08:24.000 as he's gone out on this show. His dad didn't encourage him, His 110 00:08:24.120 --> 00:08:30.399 mom didn't encourage him, his brothers didn't encourage him. The army, the 111 00:08:30.439 --> 00:08:35.039 soldiers are scared to death, didn't encourage him. The king, whose reputation 112 00:08:35.159 --> 00:08:41.639 is on the line, didn't encourage him. Nobody gave David any encouragement. 113 00:08:41.679 --> 00:08:45.720 What did he do? He had to encourage himself in the Lord. Look 114 00:08:45.720 --> 00:08:50.360 at the next verse, first Samuel thirty, verse six, when others were 115 00:08:50.360 --> 00:08:56.720 speaking against him, David read it with me, encouraged himself in the Lord 116 00:08:56.799 --> 00:09:01.000 circle in the Lord. Do you do that? You encourage yourself in the 117 00:09:01.000 --> 00:09:03.919 Lord. Now, this is so important. You're trusting in God. It's not just a positive mental latitude. 125 00:09:39.600 --> 00:09:43.480 Now, I'm not against positive thinking. I mean considering the alternative.
