We tried to come up with ten players that are going to be on our radar that we feel like should also be on your radar, and we'll discuss why for each person as we get through it. I think the biggest was fifteen thirty three teams. I mean, I think he said today there's been interest from twenty two teams. He expects eighteen to twenty, so that would be absolutely incredible. But okay, um, these are players that are on our Radar our watch list heading into the twenty twenty three Debisop that we also believe should be on yours for various reasons, and we will talk about those reasons. I guess I'll go first for this one because it comes with a special treat I don't think that this should be of any surprise. Jeremy Becker, the guy. He has absolutely been annihilating the win daily poker tournaments. He's got like nineteen wins in the last week and a half or something crazy Now I think it's I think it's six or seven wins in the last month and a half, which is wild. Jeremy Becker, He's number one on my list. He's as hot as anyone right now, just in terms of like winning tournaments, putting money in his pocket, obviously running well, because you have to run well to win a tournament, doesn't matter if it's one hundred player daily or a twenty thousand player Colossus tournament does not matter. You have to run hot. Jeremy Becker is certainly running hot. He's all over social media. It seems like every single day or every other day win Poker is tweeting a face of Jeremy winning another tournament, so he's out there, he's top of mine. And the special treat is that I was able to sit down with Jeremy talk about his run, talk about heading into the summer. So we'll play that interview for you now and then we will hop on back into talking about the rest of our list of the players to watch out the twenty twenty three WSOP. All right, everyone, I'm here with Jeremy Becker, fresh out of his car up into the office, sitting across from me here. How you doing, man, I'm doing good. Thanks for having me. Yeah, So we were talking in the elevator on the way up. You're living here now, but you're from New York. You've had a lot of results in Florida as well. I was just looking through the Hendon mob stuff online, so I guess my first question would be, you know what, what kind of made you come out here to Vegas. Um. I've recently gotten super into the tournaments the last almost three years now, and there's just not something good to play every day back in Florida, where I was living. And I mean every time I've been out to Vegas. I love it out here, always something great to play, and I just thought it was time for a change. Is poker your sole source of income? Like, are you a professional player? M yes. The last job I've had I was a caddy at a golf horse in high school. So you know golf a little bit, A little bit. I don't know anything about golf. I'm horrible at it. I've golf maybe three times in my life. Every time people try and get me to go, I avoid it because I know that I suck. Not only do I am horrible at it, but I consider myself very competitive. So I shank a couple of balls and I want to just break every club, you know. But it's definitely something where you know, later on in life I'll probably pick it up and try and get better at it actively, but right now it just drives me away two nuts. So I referenced your Hendon mob having a bunch of cashes. You have twenty four live tournament wins according to Hendon Mobb. Your biggest cashes, I think it's a little over thirty six thousand and fourth place finished in a Venetian event eleven hundred all buy in there one of three cashes you have for more than third k. But the main reason we're having you here on the show today, on the Poker Girl Podcast is you've been getting a ton of love, a ton of buzz on social media, a ton of Well I'm gonna I'm gonna ask you about the hate. Okay. Um, it seems like every single week, maybe every other day, you're winning a tournament at the at the win. You know, Um, you have eight tournament wins this year alone. Okay, six of them have come at the win and those six have come in like the last seven weeks. You want a three hundred dollars daily. Um, that was the biggest win out of out of this bunch, thirteen thousand and four hundred, and then you won five two hundred dollars dailies. Um. You know, the field sizes range anywhere from I think the smallest one was sixty nine entries all the way up to one hundred and twenty eight entries. So I mean, they're not the biggest field sizes in the world that but I've played these tournaments. I played some of the dailies around town. These are probably the tougher dailies around town. Um, still good value decent structure, all that sort of stuff. Um, you know, you're winning between four and seven thousand dollars every time other than that thirteen thousand, four hundred overall. Also earlier this year year you had a six hundred dollar tournament win at the Venetian for fifteen K. You had a four hundre dollar win down in Seminole that was a big field five fifteen entries, thirty three K there. I mean, I guess what's clicking right now in this last like two months, UM, I would say I definitely something that really helped me was studying these GG Super Millions final tables, started watching a lot of those and really paying attention to what the best players in the world they're doing. And also just confidence. I mean, after going into that hard rock tournament, I just started to put some stuff together and really take it more seriously. And once I won that one, I just, I don't know, I got super confident and felt like I could do no wrong. Sometimes. Now, all the wins that I've looked up from this year doesn't look like you've chopped. You and I talked a little bit about the chop thing before we went on record. You had a segment on the Cracking Ace's podcast show to those guys talking about the chops, you're not chop guy, correct, Yeah, very anti chop, which I am also, so we can agree on the note chop thing. My view is basically that you're not going to get heads up that often in tournaments. When you do, you want to maximize the wins when you have them. That That's kind of my view, So I'm not gonna chop. That said, I'm a little bit different than most people out there. I do have a job. I don't play poker professionally, so I understand that if people want to chop, you know, to reduce the variants a little bit and lockups that want to totally get it. Um anyway, Um, it's gets good to know that, you know, you haven't been chopping and you've just been winning these things. Have you gotten heads up in any of them and lost? Last night of an issue? I mean, man, yeah, Daniel Sepiel got me. They had a one day five hundred okay, yeah, first it was a little over nine K. I got just over six K. For second. I felt super bad too. He was trying to get out of there. He did. He's big into FanDuel and okay, he wanted to drive to the California border to set some lineups and I'm just like, I can't do it. Man. I just went on a podcast to saying no deals can you definitely can't deal now, like, yeah, no matter what. I was already like that, but now it's like, I really can't. And uh, he got me, so shout out to him. Played great, He's gotten me a bunch in a bunch of tournaments. And then just so everyone out there knows, Jeremy and I have played a few times around town. Um My next question is gonna be about Daniel Legrn. You and Daniel and I actually texted a little bit and I said, Jeremy's the type of guy you don't want at your table um. I you know, when I sit down and I see Jeremy across men, I'm like, yeah, I could probably find a bit of table draw um. But you know, it is what it is. You got a battle with these people if you want to be out there in the streets. Speaking of Daniel Legrane, you get all this love on social media and then he tweets, hey, you want backing for the WSP and you are like, what like, are are you joking you know? Or you yeah exactly? He said, no serious, I'll DM you. So is that the thing? Now? Are you getting staked by him or pieces or whatever? Um? Yeah, I definitely think we're gonna do something. Um, nothing set in stone, but I've been talking to him and Josh Rier about doing something for the whole World Series. Um, they're interested. I'm interested. Um it would be great to get under those guys wings and uh just hear what they have to say, take their advice and everything like that. When it comes to the World Series. I noticed you know you cashed in the main event one year. Um, you have some other cashes in some smaller events. What's like going into the summer, Like, what's your kind of your plan? Are're just gonna try and fire everything that you can do. You have a sort of a limit on like the buying level outside of the main event. You know, everyone tries to play the main event, but that's kind of like the unicorn. Um. I really I'm the worst planner. I don't play anything. I won't even think about it. Oh you're just tomorrow. Yeah, I just wake up. I look at Poker Atlas, see what's going on? And whatever I want to play, I'm gonna play it. And if something's a big buying where I want to sell pieces, I got a few friends that are always willing to buy, and that's really what I've always done. M I'm usually gonna try to play a good tournament with good value, and um yeah, that's pretty much it. There's no like set limit, like I won't play a buy in over this amount or anything. Just really depends how I'm feeling and uh what the tournament is. So am I correct in saying that you're pretty confident in yourself and your game overalls? Yeah? For sure. I mean I really started with nothing when I got into poker after college. I maybe had like a few thousand dollars laughed after paying off whatever I had to pay. Where'd you go to school? University of Tampa? Okay? Okay? So um, I mean I started with basically nothing, and if I lost it, I promised my mom I'll get a job, and I just never lost it. So it's like a free role, I mean, or it comes to worse, I'm back to where I started. Yeah, yeah, no, for sure. Did you graduate from YEAPA? Okay? What was the major sport? Management? Okay, sweet, I picked it because it had the word sport. Um wasn't a great student or nothing just to get us. I don't use my degree at all. Um. I have a physics and a math degree, but I don't really touch that at all. U. Where'd you go? I went to Elon University in North Carolina, That's right, Yeah, so I went there. UM. I mean I just I always looking back on it, I'm like kind of think that it's crazy. They expect, you know, seventeen eight year old, eighteen year old kids to pick what they want to do for their whole lives and you're still very much in the feeling out process. I mean, I think I changed majors like seven times something ridiculous. But um, but yeah, you know it is what it is. Um. That would be main event tournament that you cashed in twenty twenty two. Um, I referenced that is that the biggest buying tournament you've ever played? Played the main twice? I played it the first one after COVID and this previous one, and I played the five Diamond two years ago. I believe got it. So those three ten k's didn't play the the WPT one last year the one in December. No, Um, there was a serious going on for sure. Yeah. Well, I was living in Tampa data series at the same time. I wanted like a home title and definitely wish I came. I got rocked over there. No, my friends were out here, but yeah, I didn't play it well. Now that you're you know, you're a Vegas resident, you definitely gotta I gotta stick around for that for sure. Yep. Um, so I guess I mean I mentioned the haters earlier. Um, you know there's been some people on social media, mostly obviously you know that's where the pitchforks always tend to come out. Um, who are I guess the general sense to be like, yeah, but he's only went in two hundred all daily tournaments or slash Knightly tournaments, whatever you want to call them. Um, I mean, as I said, I know, these tournaments are pretty tough. Um. Also, there's not a whole ton of stuff going on in May right now. You know, it's kind of like that that calm before the dup storm. Everywhere. You know, there is some stuff at Venetian, there's obviously these dailies at the wind there's some few series here and there, but nothing really like big and booming. Um, I mean, what do you What do you got to say to the haters? I mean, honestly, I really don't mind it. I swear like it doesn't bother me. I've talked to some people saying, like to block these guys. It really like the fuel you in a way, like it's honestly motivation and sometimes like I get good laughs. It really doesn't bother me. I really only care what people close to me think. I mean some random person on Twitter saying that I'm buying into these things ten times and I'm still losing money or something like just there was one tournament I went nuts in and I've definitely heard about that one a lot. But these people are acting like this is every tournament, which is not the case. Of course, I don't mind rebuying, especially if I feel like I got an edge, like I'll take some spots and if it goes south, I'll try again. But um, I am not like that. Uh. In terms of your playing style, I mean, how would you describe yourself? Um? I think I definitely play super different at different points in the tournament. UM. I mean usually early, I'm not gonna force nothing, crazy early. I mean, if I'm pretty card that I'll sit there and fold like I really don't mind at all. And then there's other points where, of course I'm gonna try to put pressure on people and try to accumulate as many chips as I can. I don't think I have like a set style where like I'm always foot on the gas or something. I just try to let it come to me. Yeah. I know you referenced, uh, you know, graduating college, you know, telling your mom I'm going to give this a shot. So you're obviously very confident then, as as you still seem to be remained very confident now. But was there ever a point throughout this process where you're like, you know what, maybe this isn't for me. Never that it wasn't for me, but I think maybe maybe it might not be that, because I think a lot of people have that, a lot of poker players always kind of have that in their mind. But maybe it's like, maybe this won't just work out, is a better way to phrase that. Yeah, um, because obviously there's a lot of variants in this game. Yeah, especially in tournaments. Oh, for sure, I'd say that Hollywood win in January. I think let's say November December, like the previous months, I'm super into poker, always will be, always have been. But um I really for the first time started thinking about, like, you know, should I do something else, as like secondary income, just because I think it was also what I was playing. You know, the dailies in Florida are one eighty. It's super wreck heavy. The structure is actually great for a daily It honestly might be better than the wins, but just the people, the vibe, Like, I don't know, I just wasn't as into it as I had been. I wasn't every day I wake up super excited to play, and that just like kind of went away from me for a little. I started playing less, studying more and thinking about potentially getting into something else. But um then I went down to Hollywood and ripped that one off, and I was back, and I decided, like, I think I want to try to go to Vegas. Well there you go, and here you are, yep up obviously right around the corner, just about two weeks away. You're going to be playing a lot. As you said, you know, you kind of just like to wake up, look at the schedules and and go from there. I'm assuming you're going to be playing kind of all around town, not just at the Horseshoe for THESP. There's a lot of stuff going on. But is WIT be gonna be your main focus this summer? Um? Yeah. The previous two years I've been out for the World Series and I always say going into it, I want to play mostly at now Horseshoe, But always after that first week, you know, some stuff is ten handed. The dealers really aren't too great, especially comparing it to win in Venetian, I pretty much just end up playing at those two spots other than like the camp misses like Milliemaker, the main stuff like that. But this year, especially if I do something with Josh and Daniel, I mean, I would really love to try to get in a position to potentially win a bracelet and make a deep run. So same mindset again this year where I want to play mostly at Horseshoe and I'll also play at the other places. But we'll see, I've never really thought about winning a bracelet, never really meant anything to me, but now after talking with these guys, I mean I would really like to do that. Yeah, I mean it's probably obviously talking to those guys, super successful, super well known players everyone knows Dan Lagroni and Josh r A. Also the fact that you're running really hot right now, you know. I mean, yeah, I know people can hate on you for saying always just running hottle, it's just in a hunter player tournaments whatever, But I mean this is kind of the genesis of a lot of runs. You gotta get hot at some point. I mean it just like it has to happen for you to go on and be super successful. I don't think anyone in poker who's had success would say that they, you know, didn't get hot at some point. So it seems like you're heating up at the right time. And you know, now that you say that, you haven't really thought about winning a bracelet or what it might mean to you. Is it starting to kind of create into your mind a little bit more now that we're so close to the summer and this run is all kind of coming to fruition right this time. Yeah, definitely. Um. Josh actually explained this super good. He said, Obviously, the WPT's great means a ton. My roommate, one of my best friends in the world, Jake varaw won WPT Player of the Year two shakes though. He yeah, he's he's a good player. He's played in the studio. Bitum so he he was on my left in the WPT Prime Tournament at the win last year. I've never seen someone play a fifteen to twenty big blind stack as aggressively and as well as that guy played. It was after it it was I mean, I was just his direct right, so it was torture for me. But I was also kind of in awe, just like sitting back and being like, this is on you know, next thing. You know, he's got like sixty big blinds, and I'm just like, I don't even know how this worked out for you, but this is amazing. So anyway, sorry, so um Josh basically explained to me that stuff like that, even a WPT title, winning a win Maine for a half a million whatever, that's amazing. The money's great, but in a couple of years, nobody's gonna remember who won these things. Where a bracelet, I mean, people know who have won bracelets since it began, and that's something nobody can ever take away from you. And it's like you're cementing a piece of yourself into the history of poker by doing that, So I would definitely love to try to do that. Is it straight no limit holding for you or do you dabble on anything else? Yeah? I've played a couple of um plo slash hold them mixes, but that's really it. I think I fired like a horse tournament or two, but um, I would think I'm dead money in those super fun change a pace but I love the no limit Yeah. All right, Well, I mean that's all I have for you. I think it's going to be pretty polarized or a bunch of nothing or a lot of success. That's that's my gut feeling. Could you imagine if he wins a bracelet the first week? No, no, no, he needs to win like the gladiators of Polka. Know what I'm saying. He's saying, But if he just if he just does something on the or if like he imagine if he like rips off the million dollar bounty, like that would be like just just cashes but pulls the million dollar bounds. Everyone would hate him for it would be so it would be great though, It'd be so awesome. Um, it'd be awesome to have him, you know, come out as you know, a flying start to the twenty twenty three desp um. I mean, you guys heard me on the interview there. I asked him what he thought of the haters, the people that are saying, you know, these are only daily tournaments, these are only hundred player fields, all that sort of stuff. So Jeremy gets motivated by that stuff. Um, rightfully, So I think a lot of us would get motivated by that stuff. And um, yeah, I think it would be fun to see him sort of further silence the haters with some sort of win. Um. It might also be kind of like in a weird way funny if he like wins a daily deep stack like in the first week, which which are generally like pretty big fields. You know, they can get eight hundred thousand players and those things you can put two hundred three hundred bucks and win forty k. Like those are not small tournaments. But that would just kind of funny that, like he wins all these dailies leading up to the BISP and then maybe he wins that one. But I think he's going to have some success on the big stage in some bracelet events. I don't know exactly if he'll win a bracelet or not. As Tim kept saying yesterday, the math says no, but we need to put that on a shirt. The math just the math says no. We need icms for poor people. We need the mass says no. That's like I think he's gonna he's gonna make a run in something final table, final two tables, that sort of stuff. The eyes are gonna be on Jeremy Becker. Of course, everything is heightened, Everything is further under a microscope during the summer, whether it's Poker Grows coverage, whether it's other media it's out there, whether it's the live reporting coverage on Poker News and WOP dot com, whatever it is. This is gonna be top of mind for a lot of people, and we'll see if Jeremy can perform. Um. So, Jeremy Becker is my first player to watch entering the twenty twenty three WSV. Who do you got? Where do I stop? Where do you mean? Where do you start? The top list? No, I didn't have him ranked in any order. I've kind of got him. I mean I don't have him ranked in any order either. So just pick the person at the first up. I'm gonna pick. Okay, this guy is my my PLO player. Okay, I know you want us to discuss a PLO player. Yeah, so I gave the one rule that I had, very soft rule for both Tim and I out of these ten players is we'll pick one one of the ten will be kind of a polo specific player, and then one of the ten will be kind of a mixed game specific player. That that said, you could have. You could put ten pilo players on the list if you wanted to, but go ahead. Validation is very important in our industry. Big wins, big victories, and the and the biggest victory is a ws bracelet. This guy doesn't have one, but he has three PGT PLO victories. This is the same person that I have Guerrero. He crushed the PLO series. Lataro, the PLO God as I call him. That is his nickname. It will forever be his nickname. He is also my PLO player. So you and I are in lockstep with us one point four million and winning. He's got ten WSP cashes, a couple of none limen hold him cashes there, and he's set. He's primed. He's ready for a big WSP. I think he's we have to watch him because he will break through and win his first WSP bracelet. I mean, if the PGT PLO series has shed any sort of light on what we can expect from Lataro Guerrera, then yeah, he's gonna win his Bracelet'll probably win three. You spoke with him after he had some success. I can't remember when exactly you spoke, maybe at the end, but he said he was already booked for the something like he's ready to go. So there's a lot of polo stuff on the schedule this summer, pretty much, everything from do they go below a thousand? Do they have a there is a Yeah, there's like a six hundred PLO deep stuck out there. You go. So, I mean he's probably gonna be blasting everything polo related and then they have up to what fifty k? Yeah, he's gonna be in all this sort of stuff. Um, you all you see a time and time again, you see the best polo players in the world come out, they compete in the plo events at the World Series of Poker, and generally they do extremely well. Right you know we've seen it with Alan Lee over the years, Uh, Tommy Lee, all that sort of stuff. Josh Rier has done it many years. Like you always see these polo players do extremely well. Um, the Finnish guys are always crushers at the World Series of Poker. So I think Latar Guerrera is going to be crushing. He might even dabble in some other stuff. I mean, he's gonna be down. He does play and every one, I would say everyone, it has to be just about one hundred percent of people started in poker these days playing hold, right, So it's not like he doesn't know how to play hold. Yeah, Like, so he'll probably figure it out. He also, he quote to me when I interviewed him, was like, you know, I asked him about he's switched from the limit to polo and he goes plos is more fun. Yeah, So I'm thinking we're gonna see some uh, we're gonna see some runs for mister gros So. He's on my list as well. Um So now that I ratted off too, basically, you gotta go again. This is gonna be a controversial one, a lot of mine, very very controversial. Controversial. I don't even know what that means. You'll see as we get through my list, you're gonna you're gonna hate me more and more. But this one, this is gonna be my mixed game player one only because I really struggled to find a good one for this and the reason he's on my list. I think he's he's leash at home has lengthened. It's gonna be more freedom. He's back in shape, he's got a new haircut. His name's Jason Mercier, twenty million in Willis. I like it. I want to raffle off. His most recent results World Series last year, I think he played two or three events. He took six in the in the fifty KPL, He's fifteenth in the RAS Championship. Then twenty twenty three comes, he flies down Super Bowl weekend to PGTAM Mix Game Series, wins the ten Game Championship, flies back a month later, takes thirteenth in the mix PLO and I think he nearly bubbled the twenty five KUM. I think he's gonna have a big summer with him. I mean, it's it's a volume thing. Um. Just don't know how much he's gonna be out there playing. We had him on the Polger Girl podcast last year. He seemed to think that it was still a couple of years away of him being out here playing a full WSOP schedule. That said, as you pointed out, he has been playing a lot more this year. He has that new haircut, looks like he's slimmed down a bit. He's ready to go. Ready, get back out there on the battlefield. It's gonna be hooping every used to. I mean, to be honest, Jason Mercier is the type of player who I don't think needs. He doesn't need Shaun Deep type volume to put up a successful result at the World Series of Poker. We saw it last year in the fifty kph. Just comes out plays that sixth place, you know, two hundred can the bank let's go? So yeah, if he comes, if he plays a week's worth of events, ten events, I don't know, we're probably gonna see something from Jason Mercier, so I like that pick as well. Um, not on my list, but I like to pick. I'm gonna go with somebody kind of in the same vein as Jeremy Becker when it comes to being in top of everyone's mind right now, and that's Ben Wang who has been annihilating, Yes, the WPT. He is the chip leader WPT Chalk Off Final Table, which has taking place this week over at the Hyperex Studio or hyperex Arena, whatever it's called these days at lux Or. He's also the final Table chip leader heading into the WPT Seminal event that's also going to take place at the Hyperex Arena down the street from us. Maybe we'll pop in there. Maybe we won't, depend on how busy we are here. But according to some sources out there that I've been talking to, he's also planning on plane a full schedule at the World Seris Poker, so blasting everything. He's already had massive success earlier this year when he won the return at the Borgata for a million dollars. So Bin Wang, you know, could pretty much solidify himself in the poker history books if he goes on to win both these WPT events this week that he's in. I haven't checked WPT Gardens today to see if he's like still in the mix for that one, but yeah, WPT Gardens kicked off as well. That final table is also going to take place here in Las Vegas. But w PT Gardens out in southern California think they had about a one point seven million dollars prize pool for that five K event UM three hundred or four hundred entries in that one. I don't know if ben Wing is still in that one. He's not all right, Tim says he's not, So he's not, um, but he's still got these two final tables. He's one out of six in both of them, so we'll see how he does overall. So that is another player that that I think is at the top of the top of my list, um or on my list at least, and I think she should be on yours as well. All Right, you're up next. This guy. He's on out list, he's on yours of mine, he's on anyone that's in the inner circle of of high roller events. He's on my list. How do you know? I mean, he's you know that doesn't even that's not he might actually be. I don't think the greater pok industry might know of this guy, but I'm pretty sure he's all in on twenties this year. Okay, so far in twenty twenty three, he's already three x. He's twenty two winnings, which included a twenty third place in the WSP main event. So far in twenty twenty three. Sorry, that was twenty twenty two man event. So far in twenty twenty three, seven tried in cashes, three PGT cashes. He's got over three point four million in winnings. Brian Kim, He's on my list. He is on my list. There you go. Um, Brian Kim a friend of mine. Former I mean former. I guess it's probably not the right word, but I was gonna say former high stakes cash keep plays. He's former. Yeah, but but after games earlier this year, I know that he was. UM's in some parts of the world grinding only cash games, high stakes, very very high stakes, UM, because that's what he does. He plays poker, and he plays the highest stakes. Um. He did pretty well over in cipers. As you said, I'm I'm expecting big things from him. Yeah, Overall, he's on my list as somebody to watch for. That super deep run in the Man event last year, ultimately fell short because he was the chip leader like day six or day seven, I forget what it was, um, and then ended up busting out what place? Yeah, twenty third, I mean, in in and of itself, incredible result to finish twenty three and the WSPMA event. That's that when you get to that point and you're the chip leader, it's you probably feel bad finishing twenty three, you know, it kind of sucks. But um, I'm expecting big things from him overall. He is a bracelet winner one one online, he won a five K high roller online. UM, so I expect him to make some waves, um, some big waves this summer. So I'm really looking forward to to what we're seeing out of out of Brian Kim, who's no longer you know, just that that quiet you know, cash game grinder. He's certainly very much out there taking the shots in the tournaments. He played the lux On Invitational, Yeah, like he was. He's he's out there blasting the biggest thing. So so yeah, I think we're gonna see a lot of big things from him this summer as well. All right, I'll go now another guy who's had some success I would say mostly around Las Vegas at least that's where I think everyone kind of got word of this guy. Um wpt dot com wrote about him. He was crushing over at the Win just like Jeremy Becker was. That is Georgie Schulukia. I think I said his last name rights UM. So Georgie out of nowhere just starts popping up. He was like the Jeremy Becker just starts crushing all this sort of stuff over at the Win. UM. And so he had. He had a win in December at the Win which was in the tag team bomb pot like the final event. He wins that with his partner UM. Then he goes on to win a three thousand dollars event at the Win as part of the Win Millions poker series that was in March. Then he wins two Venetian tournaments UM as part of the Venetian Deep Stack Showdown also in March. UM so that three K win tournament that he won one hundred and twenty four thousand dollars. Then he wins the Venetian Tournament eighty thousand dollars. Then he wins the next Venetian tournament thirty one thousand dollars. Then he wins a win Daily for five thousand dollars. Then he wins another win tournament Alevenlo event twenty six k. Like this is all this year, this is all in the last two months. He's on fire as well. I'm expecting big things from Georgie. Yeah, that's what I'm That's what I'm expecting. Yes, you just all chalk stufire today. I mean, I'm trying to let the people outlet listen. You and I are in the circle. We are in the poker circle. He stayed at home, didn't play too much poker. But it sounds like he might be back. It looks like he might be back. So if if Jason was somebody that you kind of like forgot about or wonder where he went, get ready because he might be coming. So all right, so I got, I got Jeremy Becker, Bin Wang, Georgie Shlukia. I'm probably saying that way wrong, Latar Guerrera as well. You have Brian Kim and Brian Kim as well. Who who do you have so far? Brian came Jason Mercy of Latara. Yeah, I've listed five because two of mine were the same as yea yeah, um, so give your next one, he said, A new kid on the block. This is the opinionome of a new kid on the block. But where I think we supposedly this guy Chris Brewer got a job last year. Doesn't look like he's working too many hours because in twenty twenty one he won three million dollars twenty twenty twenty one two point nine. This year, already five months in, he's won with three point three million dollars. So unless he's got some good PTO time, it seems like he is blasting. He's firing, and most importantly, he's running good, and I think he might come through follow your prediction yesterday and win his first OBSP bracelet. There you go, I like it. I'm gonna go with a German player. Robert Hidorn oh Okay, having a crazy year so far, doing extremely well. Had a million dollars score that we talked about the other day on the podcasts when we were recapping some of the Triton Poker Series Cyprus events. He also had a sixth place finish at Triton for two hundred and eleven k. I know previously he had a deep run on the wait main events, but he has had ws B success in terms of some deep runs and some cases, but not like fully on everyone's radar just yet. So Robert Heidorn could be that next man up in terms of like the German players. You know, everyone is always looking at the German players, you know, being like they just kind of churn out these poker players a year after year. It's a new one that just comes up and just starts crushing. Robert Heidorn could be that person. Just just the fact that I saw him in Triton blasting the higher buying tournaments and having some success in them, that's like, okay, he's ready, Like he's ready to go. So I'm looking at Robert Heidorn German player. I believe he resides in England and plays out or came from Berlin, Germany. So I'm looking for Robert Heidorn. Took two very well this summer, go again twenty twenty two. This player won three hundred thousand dollars in twenty eighteen. His next best year just twenty nine K. This year is so far twenty twenty thirty five months in he's won one point one million dollars for a total of nearly one point six He's got four PGT cashes this year, he's got a first, a second, a third, or fourth or fourth or fifth, and he's cashed in Florida, the Bahamas, Vegas, Texas, California. Aum Oh. He's playing everything, is playing all the buyings at all different levels. Twenty five k's one k's literally everything. I think he's going to carry that through the WSAPU and probably just keep crushing. That's a good one. I like it. I'm going to go with my guy from last year, Ryan Brown. Remember Ryan Brown. I played with him in the Diversity main event. I was extremely imp rest with how well he played. I've played with him since then in some tournaments. At the win I saw that he had a win for one hundred and forty eight thousand dollars in March down at the twenty twenty three Tampa Poker Classic, he won the seventeen hundred dollars championship event. So I'm looking for big things from Ryan Brown. You could walk through a field, you would have no idea. He's just very unassuming, very unsuspecting, just a normal looking guy, very normal name. I was extremely impressed with playing with this player. I think he's in line for some big stuff this summer. Ryan Brown out of Maryland, Out of Maryland, go ahead, No, I'm just concept laughing that you want to Ryan Brown from when I saw it, When I saw like he got that win, I was like, oh, here we go. He's his bank roll is going to be flashed, like yeah, he's playing. Well, let's get it done putting him on the list. So my next player, he's only got twenty thousand in live winnings, you're digging deep nineteen hundred and earnings twenty thousand and earnings because he's not gonna like my last two picks. But anyway, twenty thousand live winnings. But in twenty twenty three, he has won five WSP Circuit online rings five twenty twenty three. It's may. He's also got a second, a second, a third, or fifth or six and a seven, yes five, Michael Sata. You might have seen him blasted all over Poker Steak. He's guid events listed from like fifteen three K. The guys, if you've won five rings in five months, it feels like you're in pretty good form. And if he's going to be here for the World Series, he's going to carry that through. He's probably gonna play all the online events. He's gonna play all these you know, lower three K below buyings. I assume he's going to play, you know, all the eight hundred deep stacks. One k's all on his own dime, and I'm just betting on the form. That's really what I'm doing. Okay, I don't hate it. I'll stick in the same vein of people that I see plastered all over poker Steak. I got Cherish Andrews good one yes, absolutely closed out twenty twenty two with a banger year, has kicked off twenty twenty three winning, She's at every final table, all this sort of stuff. I was looking at poker Steak the other day. I feel like she has three events listed. I don't even know if that's possible, but I feel like she does. Okay, pretty sure she's still dating Brock Wilson. That's a great person to have in your camp in terms of somebody to go home, bounce, hands off, of talk strategy, all that sort of stuff. Cherish Andrews is absolutely on fire right now. I know she might not be the most unknown name. She has been around the poker world for quite some time. She has had some success, But I really think this is the year that she like really vaults kind of to the top of the list, top of everyone's mind. She's in some headlines, you know, winning stuff, final tables, all that sort of stuff. It doesn't with her. I would say it might not all be at the World Series of Poker. She might do some things elsewhere. She doesn't play a lot at the Win She plays a lot some of these other venues around town, so we might see her make some big splashes there. But I still think World Series of Poker twenty twenty three Cherish Andrews is certainly going to leave her stamp on the series. My next playoff. I think maybe three and a half people in the poker industry could could name this playoff if they saw him, and I don't think I'm even one of them. Will see Tyler plays. I think he plays a lot around town. I played with him in a couple of events. Thought he played extremely well. Um he has. I think he won a tournament in December at the Win. Yeah, he won the one K or the eleven hundred All Horse Championship that was a part of the WPT World Championship. Um, I know he's had some success in hold the events he had. I think it was the sixteen hundred all Win Mystery Boundary tournament and he finished, uh I want to say it like third, yeah, third for seventy five K in that one. So but mixed game player. I think he plays the game as well. You know, has a lot of results from mixed game events. So I'm gonna go with Tyler will See, I mean, on his head, him off. He has a poker grow photo. So I know you're like, who's this guy? Who you submitted that photo? So, you know, Beautiful, you had to you had to at least, you know, recognize him at some point. I think that might have been from a deep WSOP run, okay, that you might have submitted that photo from. But Tyler Wilse is my mixed game player. Is this your last one? Coming up? Two more? Okay? Two more? How many do you have? I have one more? Okay. Now I want to just prove faith just I want to just put this out there. This topic was players to watch at the twenty twenty three WSP Okay the person I'm gonna nominate as my penultimate pick. Last year of the WSP, it was a day off. It was after the main event finished. I went to watch a movie. We weren't coming into work. There was nothing on, and he was making a deep run. I was like, well, I gotta go. You know, he was like Final twelve, Final eight, came in just in case he broke through. He he unfortunately finished in third place in a vent eighty seven Eric sidell okay, And the reason I think he's a player to watch is he is stuck on nine braces, nearly won his tenth. Last year. He won his nine kind of similar to daniel Le Grandnew in the fact that he got to a point and then plateau. So he won his ninth last year, sorry, in twenty twenty one online. Before that it was two thousand and seven. So he is right on the cusp of joining Doyle Johnny champhil Ivey in helmet with at least ten bracelets. And I think that's an incredibly cool milestone for a professional poker. Players such as Eric Sidelta hit and we nearly had it last year. But I'm watching Hope feeing that this year he will win number ten. That's a good pick, you know, especially with the fact that he's so close to winning that that monumental tenth basically go braces, So I like it. I'll give my last one. This one can probably fall into the controversial category as you would name it. I'm going with Cole Ferraroka. He has won a bracelet Ye also has a second place finish at the BIT. I think both of those finishes came the last year that the Dibisity was at the Rio. But I still think Cole Ferraro is still pretty much under the radar, one of the younger kids in the game that's coming up. You don't see too many young kids these days that are, you know, kind of coming up through the ranks. Believe Jason Somerville took him under his wing, brought him along. One of the things I like just kind of happened in recent weeks. If you follow Cole Ferraro on social media, he's been doing a lot more content. I think he's been trying to like play it every single poker room in Las Vegas. So I like the content side of things, you know, him getting out there being a new content creator in that streets, coupled with the fact that he's a very good player. I played with them a lot. I think he's gonna make some noise. And yes, I know he has a bracelet. Yes I know he has another second place finish at the World Series of Poker previously, But I still don't think that he's somebody that's known to more of a casual poker fan, but I think that he should become a name that you should get accustomed to knowing, because I think we're going to see a lot from him starting this year going forward. He is so young, he is eager, he is ready to go. And then also the content side of things, it's fun to fall along these guys who are letting us look into their lives as poker players, to fall along the grind with them. Obviously, Dangrony is amazing at that he has his daily vlogs that are kicking off soon, Like, can't wait to see all that sort of stuff. But these other guys as well that are giving you a peek into the industry and then playing every single day, I think that that's great. So Cole Ferraro is on my list. He is my last one, my final one. Again, I'm taking artistic license to your topic of players to watch. Go ahead, I'm picking three players. Oh Jesus, that's quite the artistic license. And they're all stuck on six WSP bracelets, okay. And the reason I think their players to watch is because the names that have seven bracelets, it's it's a very exclusive category. And I think this is like the first you know, you know, first big jump to get to seven. John Hennigan last one, he won his last brace in twenty nine. Is he going to play? I think you'll play a couple events. Yeah, yeah, okay, uh, you know what if you want to include, if you want to make it four, we can include Jeff Losandro. My boy, is he going to play? Let's put him in there. So let's make it four. Jeff Lesander he last want a bracelet um twenty fourteen, Asia Pacific, John Henigan twenty nineteen, Brian Hastings back to back bracelets twenty one twenty two to get to number six, and then of course Daniel o'grino last WSP bracelet twenty thirteen in Europe. This is for sure all crazy artistic license, yes, of course, but I think it's something to watch. Who will be the next player to take that step up get to seven? You know, separate themselves from this pack. There's obviously other people here that are still are still able to play, whether or not we see them. Chris Jesus Ferguson, Ted forrest Um, a couple of others. But I think these three and a half names are the most likely people who's the half Los Angeles. We'll give under half because soon knows he might not come. Jeff, if you're listening, you're only a half a half in Tim's life. No, you're You're not a half. He's gonna take your head off. He where's that comment? Yeah? I did Annie though, I always Annie first. Um. But I think that's something cool to watch, especially mainly the Negriner Hastings battle. You know, Hastings, you know obviously twenty twenty twenty one kind of come out of nowhere to catch Daniel. You know, can Daniel get to seven? It's always something to watch. And I think that along with you know, my previous one of Eric Scitedell trying to get to ten. I think these bracelet chases a something that people always are watching. You know, we can always feel homeless name in there, these hitting these milestones. It's something that people want to watch and sweat and you're either cheering four or cheering against and it makes a good topic at the World Series of Poka. I like it. I think we got yeah, I mean, minus the artistic license ones, minus the fact that you cut Jeffrey Lossandro and half. Jeff that was that was your man, your your countryman, Tim Duckworth, not Donnie Peters. Just want to put that out there in case you're looking to take anyone's head off. Um, but I think we put together a nice list of people to you know, kind of get attached to heading into the twenty twenty three WSP. I think these players, um have a really high potential of making some waves, making some splashes or at the end of the summer, you know, we can look back and be like, Jeremy Becker did nothing, Bin Wayne did nothing, Like you know, these guys were super hot coming into the World Series of Poker, Cherish Andrews super hot all year, did nothing at the World Series of Poker, So you know we can look back that way and be like, you know, they didn't come through like we thought they would come through. That said, you know, these are really hot players right now. They're running really well, they're playing really well, they're getting results all yearlong.
