Yeah, like I mean, I know twenty twenty four will probably be here before we know it, as that happens every single year, but still, you know, I'm a little bit bummed out that it's all over. On today's show, we're gonna recap pretty much everything that wrapped up in the last week while we were focused on the WSP main events. We have a WSP Player of the Year winner, not someone you would have expected coming into the summer, but hopefully you got to know this person throughout the summer. Ryan Mill won the three K Horse, Kang Hyun Lee won the one K Nolman hold Him freeze Out, Martin Nielsen won the ten k Short Tech, Alex keating the five K Noelman hold Him winner, and then wrapping up the series the final racelet of the summer, Paul Berger won the one K Super Turbo. We're gonna go over our predictions that we gave at the beginning of the World Series or right before the World Series. I should say, see how we did there. We had a little Q and A with our listeners that wrote some questions in Thank you all who did that. And then Tim's got a family thought. So here we go. First things first, I know, I know this is kind of look a little bit backwards, but we're gonna do it this way anywaysp Player of the Year twenty twenty three Ian Metacus the Minnesota and out of nowhere twenty two cashes, twenty two cashes. Nine of those cashes came online. He won one gold bracelet that also came online. He had a total of eight hundred and eighty one thousand and fifty two dollars in winnings. I mean, he really did come out of nowhere. Yeah, I mean, unless unless you were Adam Freedman, because I guess that Adam Freedman told Greg Mueller to draft him in the Mark gregor It's twenty five hundred uh Fantasy League, which was after the twenty five K Fantasy Draft. It was the day after UM and I think I saw that he had four hundred and twenty five point, which is which is out of control. I mean absolutely, Adam Freedman know that this guy is gonna just blost the full schedule and absolutely blow everyone in. He must he must be friendly with him, he must know him. Um, you know, he's from kind of that neck of the woods, I think, plays some MSPT events all that sort of stuff. So um had a good idea that Ian Matakeas was going to be coming out and what sort of schedule he was going to play. And then, of course, you know, once you get off to a hot start, you know you got a bank roll all that sort of stuff like, you can obviously keep firing. And that is what Ian did and it led him to becoming the twenty twenty three WSP Player of the Year. He topped a pretty tough group of people, as you would expect, and four of the people that he beat or finished ahead of were multiple bracelet winners. You had Ryan Miller who won two bracelets. You had Josh r A won two bracelets. You had Shawn Deep who or sorry not Sean deep shawnd won one bracelet, chat Eve Sledge, but Sean do you finished second. And then in the Player of the you race and chat Eve Sledge won two bracelets. Those came at the beginning of the summer, and then Chris Brewer also won two bracelets. Really good on Ian Matakeas for coming out on top, and Tim spoke with him on the final day of the World Series just after he wrapped up the poy award Ian Congratulations sp Player of the Now there is a sweat maybe in this someone needs to win. I've done my due diligence. I've walked the field. I can't find anyone. So let's hope that you have. You've locked it up, so you know, congratulations. What does that mean to you to be the twenty twenty three WS Top Player of the Year. Yeah, it means a lot, I guess coming into the series, I I didn't have any plans for playing towards Player of the Year. It was just sort of something that came as I was playing. UM, but it means a lot to be part of this, uh prestigious group of people for sure. Now we're in the room with all the Player of the Year banners. Next year, YAWS is going to be be up here. And I was speaking to Sean d a couple of weeks ago and he suggested, you know, it would be fitting if your banner had maybe a laptop in there. A lot of discussion about the online events. You know, what are your thoughts on, you know, the online versus live debate that's going around right now. Um, sure, I guess the way I view it is the fields for the online are still big and still tough to win, so I think they should count. But a lot of people disagree, and you know, that's okay, that's their opinion. But I'm happy they did count because it was a big part of my points to suit. I think that I think you have twenty two cashes so far this World series, nine of them online, so substantial amount online. Surprisingly, though you don't have the most cases for the year, Michael Holtz, but I think he's brock Lesler on wsbtcum he has twenty four but still twenty two cashes. That's kind of pretty amazing. Ah. Yeah, it was surreal for a week or two where I was just deep in everything that I played and always on one entry, and I couldn't even believe it. Really, it started to feel like normal in a sense, being that deep. But then you know, they brought me back down to earth for a little bit. And but yeah, It's been a surreal series. I couldn't ask for more. Was there a point where, you know, it became real aware, Oh my god, I actually have a shot to win this. I'm leading you know, things are going my way. Okay, I have to kind of focus on Player of the Year. Yeah, there was a point, I guess I kind of stopped playing the win in Venetian events and just played the WSOP events. My plan was to play kind of every venue, sou but at a certain point I only played one event at the Venetian and wanted to win. So yeah, everything else was here coming into this world series, you know, no offense kind of was a No one and now you know you are going to be Player of the What does that mean for your like career going forward? Do you think? Yeah? I mean hopefully people still fold to me when they see my picture up on the wall. I guess it's also really good for my coaching. I was coaching before, but now more and more people are asking me about it, So yeah, it's very helpful in that sense. Do you see. You know we've talked to Dan Zach before, We've talked to Josh Are about Player of the Year and how you know they win one, they really want to win another to you know, be tired with the grano. Is this something you know for your career, like, okay, I would like another Player of the Year BANO. Yeah, I mean I think next year I'll be playing for it. I'm also going to learn some mixed games, so I won't just be playing no limit in PLO next year. I mean, I guess we'll see what happens. I'm gonna be grinding for it next year for sure. To for you personally, you know, being you know, on the younger side compared to some of the player year a part of the years, what kind of is more important to you? Is it bracelets? Is it another manner or is it you know, straight up cash? Yeah. I would say for me, the one thing that I always focus on is am I playing my best? And if I come in every day and do that, then I'm happy with it. I could lose, you know, twenty islands in a row, but if I'm playing well, then I'm I'm completely okay. It's safe to assume that you've probably played maybe fifty days straight of poker. You're probably a little tired. I just got due to the end of a massage, probably well deserved. What is next for you poker wise, you know, going through the rest of the year. If I'm being honest, I haven't looked completely into it yet. I'm looking forward to some time off with my family, friends and girlfriend back home. I'm actually flying out tonight. But for next for poker, I'm going to look into some of the Traiton stops and I'll be playing wpts anytime they're in Florida, so so, but yeah, I think I'll take a little bit of time off and maybe play online on Sundays. But yeah, all right, that was Ian Metakus. It'll be good to see him around blasting away at the World Series of Poker. Now that he's a name, now that he's a face, now that he's a personality, he said, he said he's coming next year. Good. I like it. I like My biggest takeaway from like him winning it is that I like that it gives way for more of like the everyman common poker player. You know, yeah, you might be a pro, but you might not be well known, but you still got a shot to winds players. Yeah, and he proved it, you know, he beat Yeah, the biggest of the big guns, and he did it, and he took it down. So good for Ian Metakus three thousand dollars Horse. Ryan Miller aka little Shit, that's his nickname. I didn't do it, okay. He won the three thousand dollars Horse Tournament three hundred and thirty one entries. He took home two hundred and eight thousand dollars, his second bracelet of the summer, also his second of the career. He only he only played five WSUP events. He's mostly a cash game player. We talked about it before when he won the ten k stud High Low Tournament. Cash game player from the East Coast um you know, most known over in the the cash games at Borgata. So he joined Josh Rhat, Eve Sledge and Chris Brewer as two time bracelet winners from the twenty twenty three Wipe Timpotta Statin here ninety fourth player to win at least two bracelets in the calendar. Yeah, that's pretty crazy. One thousand dollars. Noelman hold him freeze out Kang Hun Lee Top Day seventeen hundred and ten entry Field, taking home two hundred and thirty six thousand, seven hundred and forty one dollars. Eric MIMSSROCKI not Michael MISSROCKI not Robert MISSROCKI also not Doni MISSROCKI Eric Missaroki takes second place in this one ten thousand dollars short deck, one hundred and six entries there. Martin Nielsen from the Faroe Islands wins it all two hundred and seventy thousand dollars top prize. Chris Brewer had a deep run in this event. John Juwanda had a deep run in this event. Eric Washson had a deep run in this event, but it was Martin Nielsen coming out on top. I couldn't find a list a country list for the Faraoe Islands, so I'm assuming he's on top of it. I think Martin Nielsen is under Denmark, but he wanted to be Pharaoe Islands. He said afterwards when they interviewed him, that believes he's now has the most tournament earnings for somebody from the Faroe Islands, so Henne Mom needs to get on that well. He's also three countries this year he won their first bracelet. One was Modolva, one was Peru, that was just last week and now Pharaoh Islands seventieth country to win a WSP gold bracelet. Alex Keating. He is the winner of the five thousand dollars no Woman hold of event kind of a turbo event, not really but two day event, shorter than most of the five k's out there, eight hundred and thirteen entries, absolutely huge field. Seven hundred and one thousand dollars was the first place prize. Alex Keating his been around for quite a long time. Not to be confused by Alan Keating, the high stakes cash game player that you see on Hustler Casin Alive, You've seen on some of the poker g shows, all that sort of stuff. This is Alex Keating. He used to have the crazy beard for a while, but he plays a lot of tournaments, plays a very um i would say, unorthodox style, but a very fun style, and someone who has a lot of success on the felt. But a WSP bracelet has eluded him for quite some time. His previous best finish was back from back in two thousand and nine, he took fifth place in a two thousand dollar limit hold him event. I think he finished seventh in a WSP event in twenty fifteen. I think that was a three K no limit hold him. He also has had a deep runner two in the WSP main event, and what I mean by deep runners, I mean very deep. Think he has like a score for three hundred thousand or something like that for coming in the top forty or something like that. So but this one is his first Dubsipago bracelet again topping a field of eight hundred and thirteen entries seven hundred, one thousand dollars, was up top four Alex Keating and then the final event of the summer one thousand dollars, No woman hold him, super Turbo. This one, we were walking the field, I mean everyone came out to blasts. Yeah, it was like the last Hurrah. I didn't think a lot of people would, you know, even like a Daniel mcgrony. I thought, you know, what Summer's done? Is he really going to do this one? He was there, he was he was battling as we're a lot of these guys. Ultimately it's Paul Burger coming out on top. He topped the field of one thousand, four hundred and eighty two entries, two hundred and twelve thousand dollars goes in mister Burger's pocket. Yuri Zevelevski, the Brazilian, took second place in this one. Something that I thought from this event is that I think they should do unlimited re entry then let the people blast off. Then it's going to end at like five am. I don't want that. You saw them hanging around the table like ready to break all these tables down, like they just wanted everybody. I mean, you can't do that either. You have to have like a separate area where you can't where the pto op doesn't look like it's just in a closet somewhere, like you gotta control that. I mean, they gotta free up that space for who knows what's coming in next. Yeah, no, I understand. Um. Personally, I would have started this tournament at nine am. I would have had fifteen minute levels and I would have allowed unlimited rantry. That's what I would have done. Okay, that's what I would have done. And these same sickos would have been there. Okay, that's the crazy they all would have been there. You know, just make it this last kind of unique event. On the final day, people put an eighteen k in the fries pool, you know, like that that crazy stuff. Let's go. But ultimately, you know, really really fun world series of poker. Um. We'll get into, you know, kind of some of our wrap up questions that Tim put together, um in a little bit, But first I want to hit on the predictions that we had coming in. I don't think we did so host. I haven't looked at him like, yea, you don't even know? Okay, which established pro will win their first bracelet? You said carry cats. That's no. I was right there. Yeah, but I mean he didn't win it. Yeah, I said I. I gave mention to Chris Brewer and Sean Winter. Chris Brewer want two gold bracelets, but I ultimately didn't go with them. I went Michhannon Shore. Shannon didn't do so hot. Um, so you know you and I are going to take the l. W I win on that one. I'm closest to the pin. Is that how we play? I mean, I don't know. Do I get closest to the pin for mentioning Chris Brewer won two? I mean no, you settled on Shannon Shoal. This is both an L. It's just both we both get lost L. I'll take the will daniel Le Gron, you win a gold bracelet. You started off by saying the math says no, and I gave you a whole bunch of crap for it, but then you finally said yes. Yeah. I said, not only will he win one, he'll win two. So again we both take it. We both take ls on that one. No, well, we didn't take the L, Daniel, Yeah, Daniel technically took but we took the L for the predictions um will Helm win Gold raised the number seventeen. We both said no, so we're taking els there as well. How am we taken a big fat W right in our face? Will Deep When you said no, I said yes, boom, I get the W right there? Yeah. On the board? How many entries in the Gladiators of Poker? It had twenty three thousand and eighty eight entries, which made it the second largest live poker tournament of all time. My number was eighteen thousand, four hundred for this one. You didn't give a specific number, but you said that your flour was twenty thousand, So you get the W here I don't get. Let's go. Will the Gladiators Poker be the largest field at the twenty twenty three WISP. We both said yes, but I said that it'll be challenged by the Mystery Millions tournament, and I said, I believe. I said that the Mystery Millions tournament can get like seventeen or eighteen thousand. So given that, I said, the Gladiators of Poker with eighteen thousand, four hundred, and then the Mystery Millions challenged that number of like eighteen thousand. I was pretty close on that regard. Yeah, you know, but we both we both said yes here, so we were both right. How will the turnout be for the fifteen hundred dollar bidugie? It got five hundred and sixteen entries, which I think I think blew away our expectations. I would guess it blew away the community's expectations, and I would guess blew away the SPS expectations. I said three twenty five for this one. You said four oh eight I think was your number, So it blew those away, you know, I mean it. This isn't really like a winner or loss, I guess, but this is just a this is It's a really good sign for for Burdogie, that's for sure. How will the turnout for the fifty hundred dollars short deck bee It got three hundred and sixty three entries. You said three forty five. You were pretty much right on that one. I went higher on this one. I said four to twenty five, but it was a little bit lower. So, um, you get the win there, I'll give you the winn. Who will win the fifty thousand dollars Poker Players Championship, you said, Johanness Becker aka Johnny Becker. Um, he got twelve. I had Benny Glazer, Benny the Laser Glazer, and he didn't cash. So, I mean we didn't pick the winner there, but you know, you came cold so than I did. Who will win the two hundred and fifty k Super high Roller? You said, carry Katz. I said the guy who actually won the damn thing? Yes Brewer, Well, definitely get he definitely, maybe absolutely nailed it. Chris Brewer winning the two hundred fifty k Super high Roller, And I had that as a prediction. Will Alliam Siovich play You said no? I said yes. I said, I said that the WSP main event would be too much of a draw for him to miss. Now I'm pretty sure he didn't play the main event, but he did play that shootout tournament and he won his table. So, um, he won his first table. Um, so I was right there, you were wrong. Um. And then we flipped for Jake Schindler. You said yes, I said no, Um, so you were right. I was wrong. Top three picks for WSP Player of the Year. Of course, neither of us had Ian to take us the winner. The two thousand was on my list. Okay, yeah, I was like, you know, not just I'm just not sure I'm gonna you know, I'm gonna go the other way. So you had Negrane, dan Zach, and Jeremy Osma. The Grani finished in eighteenth. Dan Zach did not finish in the top one hundred. That's the only um that's as far as the leaderboard goes on WP dot com. And then Jeremy Osmas finished in seventeenth. I had Sean deeve Ury Zevelevski and Shannon Shore. I was closer because I had a second in eighth and then ninety first. But neither of us picked Player of the Year. But you know, still which under the radar player will be the biggest surprise. You went with Jeremy Becker. I went with Andrew Ostapchenko. Um Becker had five cashes for sixty one, nine hundred and forty five dollars. He got three hundred and sixth place in the WESP main event. I would say that he wasn't really a surprise, Like, so, I can't give you a win here, but I also can't give myself a win for Andrew Ostapchenko. You know, Ostapchenko's biggest thing was that he cashed the live WESP main events for the seventh year in a row, which is pretty crazy. Um, he got five hundred and forty seventh and this year's made for the two thousand and five hundred, but he only cashed four times for a little over seventy five k um, you know, didn't really make a big splash. We were expecting, you know, these guys to you know, our idea of like big surprise to be a couple of final tables winning a bracelet, you know, something like that. So I also had Ian Matacus on my list. Felt I thought, understood understandable which big name player will be the biggest disappointment? You said, Daniel Mgron. You I naowed this now. I mean he cashed nineteen times for three hundred and seventy three thousand, dollars, you know, but I'm gonna guess that this wasn't a win for him. You know, I don't know how he would view it, but I'm guessing he didn't win. I don't think I mean, obviously monetary terms, he lost the money, yeah, um, but I don't think he would give himself a check mark on this year's world series. You know, he had some pretty deep runs that you know didn't fall his way, especially online, so I would think that he would probably mock this down as a loss, not not counting the money. So I think I hit this one. I will say this. I'm gonna stand firm and the fact that one of these years he's gonna rip off like two or three bracelet wins. It's gonna have paradise, It's coming up, it's gonna it's gonna happen. I had Phil Ivy, Phil Hommat, and Phil golf On. I went with the three pills. Um Phil Hommy obviously one gold bracelet number seventeen, So he shoved that right in my face. Yeah. Um, Phil Ivy didn't do much at all. He had I think three cashes, two deep runs, but you know he also bubbled the two fifty k. Yeah, so that could have been very different if he just you know, folded there or whatever. It was. No, no, no, no, he got unlucky to bubble. There was like a he made a shot a big shop and got called lightly and the guy hit. I think, if we're gonna find that hand history, I'm pretty sure he got unlucky on the bubble. Okay, maybe I'm wrong. Um and then Phil Golf and I'm not sure he showed up at all, so he didn't play a single event. Yeah, so you know he was a disappointment. What was he doing? Who knows? I mean fare Golf on was there a bunch main event field size? You had eight thou twenty five and you said that if it topped nine thousand, it would be a massive success. Yeah. I had ninety four hundred, so I was closer than you were. I also say every podcast we did, the closer we got to the main event, my number went out. No, of course, it just was Yeah, which former w main event final table player will get closest to the final table again. The actual winner was John Raisner. He got fifty third this year after finishing second in two thousand and ten. Um, I picked Jeremy Osmas who didn't cash. You had Dario Sammartino who did cash four and twenty ninth place. So in terms of you versus me, you get the w there bold prediction you didn't come up with anything for some reason, I struggled one. I said someone will win three bracelets. It came close, it ultimately didn't happen, so you know that's not going to be a win for me. There. And then the not so bold prediction. You said the wind event attendance record will be broken, and it was. I said Philms will cross the line and pace of play will be come an issue. I don't think Philham has crossed the line at all. I mean I don't know, to be honest, he might have. I mean nothing that was very public. That answers my question because if he did, you would have heard about it, okay, yeah, you know, like it would have blown up on social media. He would have said like I'm going to burn the place down or whatever. He's had a couple of years ago, like all that sort of stuff. But that that didn't happen. And then pace of play. I don't really think it became an issue. Pace of play became an issue in regards to like some of the mixed game structures, but not like the players themselves. I think there was actually a lot of talk about how players are playing pretty fast overall. There were some issues on some bubbles, um, you know, completely understandable. Yeah, but it wasn't. It wasn't like past years because it was like we need we need clocks, we need this, we need that, we gotta go hand for hand, like all this sort of stuff. Yeah, I agree with that, all right. So that was just kind of recapping our predictions that we gave before the World Series of Booker. Can't wait to do those again next year. Those are always fun to do, all right. I'll let you go through these questions because you came up with them or you copied them from last year or whatever. Actually, yes, a lot of them are repeats from last year. So yeah, well, what is your most memorable moment from this year's WSP mine. This might sound like a bit of a homer, but I honestly think you don't even know what I'm going to say. I actually think it's having all these people that the podcast listeners come up to us and say thanks for the pod. You know, they dropped the family password for a hat. That was just so surprising to have people just keep coming up to us and wanting to say hello, wanting to take us take a picture. And then to follow on from that, it's just this the lucky hat and then you know, Sweet lou Final tabling, the Limon hold of and final tabling another event, and we had Manni final tabling the six hundred deep sack, and like it be, came a thing where people were wanting this lucky had, they're putting it on, they're making runs and it was this kind of this like cool, you know, like moment that was in our you know, in a circle of the podcast, but it just felt like so real and such a big thing at the time. I like that Mine was the team we drafted winning twenty five kans. Finally finally the top these a holes, finally beat them all. Let's go shout out to the squad. Thank you so much. So that's my most memorable moment. Now, I'm assuming we're going to charge mock up next year, right one point four or five? Definitely? No, next one, we have what was your favorite WSP main event hand A lot of candidates here. I feel like Honestly, the Jack's Queens Kings is kind of a layup slam dunking away. It's hard. I mean, it was on the biggest stage, fourteen players left in the event. The guy who won the hand, Daniel Wineman, ultimately goes on to win the tournament. Like it had everything, you know, it had heartbreak on behalf of Josh Payne, It had an out of nowhere miracle from Daniel Wineman, like, it had the reactions, it had the huge money of the moment because you know, there was the the Aces Kings and Ace queenhand that involved Bill Klein, Ryan Brown and I forget the gentleman's name wherein Ryan Brown rivered the strait like, but that wasn't as deep as this one was. There wasn't as much on the line as this one was. So this is of course my favorite hand, you know, Yeah, the hand that's going to stick out to me, the hand that we're all going to remember from this basically main events. Next one we have who are the three biggest winners from the twenty twenty three WSP. I got a long list here. My first one, I'm gonna say the poker go fans out there because we did forty seven days continuous live streaming. Haven't done that before. It wasn't just you know, some days we had we had two streams going. You know, we were doing mixed games, we were doing omaha, we're doing hold them, doing all kinds of different buy ins on both poker Goo and on YouTube. You know, we've never kind of been all in like this for streaming. And I think you know, we had some hiccups with the Horseshoe Table, but I think everyone really appreciated the WSP. Every day I could watch something something we've never done, something I think was very successful. And you know, I'm hoping we copy pace and do this all again next year. Just give all three years and I'll give them. May put me on the spot. Okay, what do you mean, put you on the spot. You don't have the other ones. No, I'm thinking of this on the fly. Oh my gosh. You prepare the questions and you're not even prepared to give the answers. Correct. This is how this is how I roll. But you know, I'm so good that I can just have things going there. This is going to be you know, I like to throw things at you from left field, so you're ready for this one. No, I'm not. I'm not biggest winner Jamie Gold. Now I'll tell you why he that bad, to be honest, because they put him on a pedestal. Yes, they had him doing online streams. They had him doing Shuffle Up and deals. I had a fifty k free role. Shout out Jay Faber for winning that. He presented the bracelet to Daniel Wyman. He was everywhere and no offense. He was everywhere after being nowhere exactly, you know, And here's the thing, I'm gonna have to give him a lot of credit. You know. He did a lot of press, he did a lot of interviews, and he was great. He was happy to talk, he was happy to give great answers. He was actually like the perfect ambassador just seventeen years later. So yeah, but that also kind of that probably kind of made him the perfect ambassador. Is that, um in a way, we didn't know what to expect from it all, and it had been so long, so you know, that nostalgia factor kicking in, you know, So I think, you know, ultimately we were kind of all probably looking at it, like Jamie Gold, not sure if that's going to work out. But I would say that, you know, coming out of it, it definitely worked out my third one have a few, but I'm going to go with with im Matakas. Now, heading into this World Series, he had thirty eight WSP cashes. I think it was like thirty one of them were online across g G and WSP and obviously this is this sounds very obvious. Hey, he won Player of the Year. You know, he won Obviously a lot of money at the World Series, is going to have a banner. But as he as you would have heard in that interview, you know, he feels like this is going to help him with you know, he has people reaching out to him for coaching. You know, now his name's notable, he's him as a brand if he wants to go down that road. Him winning Player of the Year has done a lot for that. And you know, shout out ignoring all the money, ignoring all of that, shout out to him for being involved in this race with Sean and Chris and Josh taking it down and kind of established himself as a young you know, he's only twenty five pro that's got some pretty damn decent poka chops. And I think we're going to see a lot of him in the future. I also have Ima Takis on my list. I won't go into it in depth like you just took, because you covered all the points. I got Chris Brewer as well, because you know, he had long been everyone's lovable loser, you know, the lovable bubble boy, and a lot of massive spots, but finally breaks through winning two doublesp Gold bracelets. He's had an incredible twenty twenty three in general, I'm winning a crap ton of money. Um wins the two hundred and fifty k super high Roller. You can definitely tell how much it meant to him winning that one. So yeah, Chris Brewer is on my list. I gotta go with the big rig Nick Rigby. I mean, oh good one. I like that. He's like the biggest thing in Poger, Like everyone just wants to see Nick Rigby, like that's all they want. I know. Twenty one, he obviously made a massive splash. Of course, he can't coming into the doubp main event making a deep run, you know, slapping the dirty diaper on everyone's face, you know, but he comes and he does it again two years later. I mean, Nick Rigby's like a massive winner here he like he didn't even like he finished one in the main event one hundred and six or something like. You know again where we're like, we're looking at a guy who had a massive impact on the whole thing, you know, from an entertainment perspective, yet didn't crack the top one hundred. You know, it seems like we get one or two of those every single year. Um Nick Rigby again, Like, I just think he showed out and there's gonna be a lot of opportunities and then I have one more. I listen. I think the dubsip itself one massive record setting fields second largest live tournament ever with the Gladder Years of Poker main event not only breaks the record that was seventeen years old from two thousand and six, it absolutely blows it out of the water. Like everything. You know. I also think the up won with I think they won with like the IMMA takes thing like an own winning Player of the Year is good for them, it's good for the brand, it's good for that POY race. It shows that, you know, it's it's not just the Sean Deeves versus Josh Harris versus Daniel mc Groanings of the World. Anyone can win that that award. I also think that Daniel Wineman is a great winner. I think the WSP wins by getting a great winner like that. I think a lot of really really good, well known pros one bracelets this year, which I think is good for the w SP. Like I think everything that kind of happened this summer is really really really good for the SIP brand. So I gotta say the doubsop I think one absolutely massive at the twenty twenty three World Series of Poker. Yeah, that's what we both mentioned last year as well. And I think everything they did this year and all the NAMA's brain broken just kind of reiterates you know that again for the second year. And I think everything got better for the most part. Like I'm struggling right now to say like, oh this didn't get better, Like everything I think got better. I mean that's in the casino, Like you know, they just need to give rid to that casino part. Yeah, like create a walkway or there is It's actually funny, there is a back walkway for like staff like awesome dealers, But I never took it even though I knew it, and I think you've taken a once and got lost. I did get lost. We do for that option, you know, it just it saves some steps. I kind of liked the extra steps. I just got to wear that mask in that's, you know, thirty feet of smoke and I'll be okay. Next one, we have who are the three biggest losers from the twenty twenty three WSP I'm gonna assume we maybe both agree on this. I have to put Daniel a grinder in there again. But no, I don't have Daniel. You can do that. You know what he's gonna I mean he might have. He might have, like going back to our prediction question, you know where you named him as you know, possibly being a disappointment, Like was he a disappointment? I mean I guess so, but like I don't really fully know, and I'm certainly not going to put him on a biggest losers list, Like if this list was twenty five long, I don't think he makes it. Wow, Okay, well, I guess I'm just showing disrespect to Daniel. I guess. But you know from why he sets you know, what he wants to achieve at the WSPA that is winning a bracelet. He's obviously fallen short. He had a lot of very deep runs, as we kind of touched on already. You know, he had fifth in the in the Nolan Me Deuce, he had a ninth in an online event. He made some runs and he was in there with chances, and if you watch these vlogs, he took some beats here and there. I think him personally would be like, Okay, I didn't win a bracelet. That's that's my sole goal each year, and he didn't achieve that. So to me, I'm putting him on the list. I don't know whether you agree, you serviously don't, but I don't agree. I disagree. Man, I had a second one, now forgot it. Well, my third one was going to be a really out of left field one, as always shocker, but it's poker go. And I'll tell you why. We have set now a new floor for streaming, which is just let me just let me finish. Let me what in the world is this let me finish new flaw? Meaning we streamed every day all of June, literally all of July, and we have set such a high standard now that we can't go back next year. So why is that why does that make us. We're just putting a lot of pressure on us. I'm just saying pressure. We have you know what's made from pressure, diamonds. Diamonds, mother effort. Let's go Okay, this is the no I'm striking this. Okay, Look, you're gonna have to do your three and I have to think of I've forgotten my second one. I just had it. But number one, damn Jin rodden Off, who who scored I think two points for us on twenty five K fantasy all summer long? Horrific, right, Feel bad for the guy because he just had a horrendous summer. Number two Alim si Rich comes out with that video, the quote unquote apology video that everyone just basically ripped to shreds, and then he shows up and it's just like, what the hell is going on? Like, I think he probably lost more so than he won by like doing everything that he did, doing that video the way that he did it, coming out, and then playing the event like I think, you know, people like he should have just kind of probably been quiet and not been seen like that would have been better for him. So that's why I think that he's one of the biggest losers and then this one, this one is is kind of like, um, I don't know this, this will be my wackiest one, although it's I don't think it's that wacky. Josh Payne losing that hand with those kings, that's that's I mean, yeah, that's fun. I don't know, wins that hand could be main event champion. Yeah, now he's the fourteenth place finisher. Like I mean, the loss like swing there is just so enormous. It's just it's unbelievable, and like it's not his fault, right, Like it's not his fault for doing that, Like he just he got unlucky. I lose that. You know, one winner we didn't mention Guy Fieri. Guy Fieri is a winner. He's I mean, you can loop him in, you can loop him into what I said one because the wop picking Guy Fieri to do the brace that reveal. He was the best bracet reveal I've ever seen, by a million miles. He used to do it every year. Yeah, well next year he needs to be like driving down the strip in his car the red convertible yea, you know, stuff like that, Like this Guy Fieri is the guy. Okay, I got three losers. You ready a the hell of the traffic that we had to deal with every day for the F one. This needs to be fixed next year. This was the biggest headache for anyone coming to the WSFV. Loser two Guy Fieri's Flavor Town tried to go there three times because shut out. Every time they said there were full capacity when there was like seven people in there. It was a joke. That's lose It two and Lose It three. Don't hate on me friends on the live updates scene, But the live updates this year they were not great. I'm hoping they get better. I'm not sure what they can do, but they it wasn't just them being bad. They just got a They cupped a lot of heat on on Twitter and it ain't you know you and may have done it. It ain't an easy job, Listen, It's not an easy job. But if they would like to improve, they have my email. Consultancy fee isn't that outrageous? I will offer a consultancy a couple hours. I'll turn that thing rhetoric. What do what your fee is? I bet you it's at least enough to put you in the twenty five K fantasy team League next year, No, the next one. We have what is the one thing you're already looking forward to for the twenty twenty four WSP. Mine is I don't even know what to call it. We'll just call it the Horseshoe Events Center, and I'll tell you why. On the last day that we were there, me and Justin now chief of Set Design, plus some WSP people, we're kind of re engineering the floor plan for the stage and how we can fit more tables, how we can make the flow better and if everything holds, and who knows it will where nine months out could completely change. But we have our main stage, we have our Horseshoe, we have more feature table areas. I think that whole room is going to look absolutely awesome. It's going to put the stage the Pokago area like on a pedestal. It's going to look amazing. If we just can keep that plan, you know, it's going to go obviously through revisions with the higher ups at WSP, but if it can stay as it is, it is going to be an incredibly looking events center with more tables, more feature tables, more bright lights, and I can't wait for that. Mine is the energy I believe. I saw Adam Levy aka Ruthless mentioned this on social media, and I had been it's funny, it's weird Hodo things just kind of like come together or work out. But I had been thinking about this exact thing when I happened to see his tweet and he was talking about how like his biggest takeaway is the energy, Like it feels like the World Series of Poker, the summer that we all knew that it was, is officially back. Last year. I don't think it was fully back, not that it wasn't awesome, not that it wasn't back, but it wasn't one hundred percent back. This year, like you could feel the energy around everything like you had you had Sean Deep doing his thing, trying to play all these different tournaments, chased down Player of the Year. You had like you know, like the field sizes were huge everywhere, the lines were huge everywhere, like like everyone was excited to see each other. You had big name pros, win embraces like everything. So like, I'm looking forward to that energy being back now because every single year that energy was back, right, every single year it was that energy. It was like this is the World Series of poker, this is it right, And last year, like it was great to be back. Of course, it was great to move down to the strip and all that sort of stuff, and we both thought that it was it was a very positive summer. But this is the first year to me that it fully felt like we're fin back. And and I also mean like like over the years, like there's always been these bumps in the road for poker, but but you know, specifically the World Series of Poker, like you had you had two thousand and six, that's the record with the main event eight thousand and seven hundred and seventy three entries. Later that year, September Slash October UIGEA gets passed right, just whacks everything down, like it just it just knocks us all down, takes us, you know down to one nique, you know, all that sort of stuff. Then we're struggling to kind of get back up. Then it's boom Black Friday just absolutely claubers us as an industry. Then it's like we're trying to grind, grind, grind back up and like everything's going kind of in the right direction. Then it's boom Pandemic. It's like, come on, can we catch a break here as an industry, Like can the World Series of Poker catch a break? Is as a tournament series? Like all these numbers and everything, and like now it's like we're back. The momentum is there, the trajectory is there, the field numbers are huge, the energy in the room is there. People are doing what they should be doing, Like even something like Jason Murcer are coming back winning to brace it. Like that's like the World Series of Poker is fully act Like that's what I love about it. So that's what I'm looking forward to next year, is that same energy carrying through again, because I feel like we really grabbed hold of it this year, you know, as a community, and I can't wait to see what comes next year. What is something you would change for the twenty twenty four wsp an Easy one, add more tables. Already kind of touched on that with the regig of the event center hopefully, But the one I really hope they spend some time looking at is I think we're gonna have the same on the schedule. Oh never mind. Now I'm not saying like, hey, let's add this new event, let's add this event. I'm talking more about you know, we have three big field no limit hold them tournaments that use the entire every poker table in both Paris and the Horseshoe. But when we have these multiple restarts, you know, the day two is the final tables over the top of a colossus or a gladiators. As well as trying to stop five pm events, sorry, the afternoon, two pm events, three pm events, etc. It makes it so tough from an operator standpoint to get everyone seated. So I'm hoping that they can say, Okay, you know, we have the classes starting on Saturday, Let's try and finish events on Friday and then kind of clear out the day one flight so that every table can be used for the classes. Get everyone seated, let everyone re enter, no waiting, no lines, try and do as much as possible to make that a possibility. For twenty twenty four, mine is WSP Player of the Year, and I loop everything. I loop the formula into that. I loop the efficiency of getting the results out there and populated on the website so people can track it and know where they're standing, and then also the prizes. I think, you know, I know when we had Sean Deebon earlier in the summer. You know, he hit on the prizing aspect, So I think I think there's a big opportunity there for WSP Player of the Year. So you know, addressing that a little bit more I think would go a long way. And I think you kind of heard, you know, the formula stuff, the efficiency stuff, the prizes stuff. I think that's what you heard from like the players that were in that race all the time. Like we kind of don't know where we stand because the you know, the points aren't updated you know, in a timely matter. The online stuff takes a little bit too long to get in there. Maybe the formula needs a little bit tweaking. You know, we've heard that. Um, the prizes, of course, you know I don't know of any prizes. I don't think you do either, So like, you know, can we get a trophy? Can we bring back yeah, like a ton of like a big prizes, Like I think if you put some money towards that, you know, I'm not and it needs to be a ton of money. I mean, in a perfect world you do something like you know, five hundred K would go towards it, right, But I don't know if that's doable. But even if you did, like a hundred K something like that. You know, um, I think you'd probably make up for that um in some some revenue somewhere, or you know, you could just take it out of the rake chalk it up to a marketing cost whatever it may be. But um, you know, I think the BSP Player of the Year is is extremely deserving and probably the thing that be celebrated the most, next to the WSP Made Event champion. Maybe maybe you know it's it's second to the PPC champion, but you know, you get you get my drift there. I think it's second, definitely second. Yeah, I mean it's it's you know, you could I think you could probably argue either way. It's fine, you know, but you know, if they're going to constantly say that, you know, this is like the Olympics of poker, then I think you need to celebrate like the person that performs the best over the course of that whole thing. Yeah. I'm wondering if, if, if WSP Paradise is here to stay, I wonder if it makes sense to put a bunch of WSP Paradise prize packages, you know, for the top three or top ten. Whoever knows how many people can talk about WSP Paradise for the entire summer in a way, it can be part of all the footnotes. Yeah, I like that. What is something you would like Poker Go to do for the twenty twenty four WSP. Mine is, you know we've already mentioned, Hey, the four is now set streaming every day. I would like us to you know, maybe make the Horseshoe YouTube table just better, whether it's you know, how it's set up, the camera quality, you know what we stream, and all in all, just kind of stream as much as we can, whether it's two tables every day, more day, two coverage, just giving the people what they want when it comes to being able to watch the WSP. Yeah, mine is stream everything, stream, more, stream as much as possible. I mean I think that, you know, we need to constantly be looking to raise the bar, you know, push our standards you know, higher and higher every single year. I think that's only natural to do. I do think we did well to do that this year, with you know, doing the streaming every single day, having you know, some days when we did two events and when a one on the horse shoe, one on the main set, stuff like that, we did you know, I think it was last year we didn't have coverage to the day ones, the main event. This year we did have coverage to that, so, you know, stuff like that. I think we did a lot of or we made a lot of positive stride. But I think that you can't just then, you know, get complacent and be like, yeah, this is it. No, you need to constantly get better. So internally, you know, that's what I'm going to be pushing for, like how can we stream more? How can we do more things? In an ideal world, you would be able to log onto poker Go during the USP and you can there's let's say there's three final tables running, you can have a stream for all of them, and then there's a fourth option that it like literally shows them all at once, like you know when you look at um, you know, some of the NFLFL packages or red zone stuff like that. You know, like like that would be like an NFL or sorry, a poker version of red zone would be kind of cool, you know, that would be very cool. I don't know how that would work out. I have no idea how much that would cost. All that sort of stuff is you know, above my pay grade. But something that I would happily throw out there as an idea and try and push for because I think that that sort of stuff is going to help. It obviously elevates poker coverage, but the better the poker coverage gets, hopefully the more people that are reaches, the more people that can draw on and have an interest in the game and all that sort of stuff. So, um, that's what you know. I'll probably spend way too much time over the next bunch of months trying to push for Don't know if it'll work out or not, but you know, if you're a fan of poker coverage, you can know that, Um, Tim and I will probably be out there, you know, standing on some tables in the conference room, yelling about what we need to do. Final question, how many entrants in the twenty twenty four WSP main event? Firstly, do we think it's gonna get more or less? I think it's gonna be less, I think, but I still think it's gonna be very high. I think, like okay, and I would and I would hope it's more. To be honest, I would hope it's small too. I just they made a big push this year. I think everyone was when I say that, I hope it's more. What I'm really saying is that I hope the push is the same, help the marketing is the same. I hope the drive to get the number bigger is the same. Like I I you know, much like I don't think that we should just sit back and be like we did a lot of great things like this is it. We're just gonna roll the balls out and do the same thing next year. Like I don't think that, you know, WIPE should do that same thing. They should want to push the number higher, you know, and if it gets higher and higher, like I mean, that'd just be incredible, you know. Which I think that there's a really good chance that it can do, you know, because again going back to that whole thing I gave about, like the energy and like officially being back and all that sort of stuff, Like I think it only starts to build and it can really snowball, you know. I'm I'm not saying they're going to get twelve thousand next year, but I think you can go up a little bit and up a little bit every single year. That should be the goal. I think it's not going to hit ten thousand and forty three, but I still think it could be right around that ten thousand of them. I just I'm just no shore ten thousand and eighty is my number. I'm gonna ten thousand and twenty. Okay, I went both wrong. I hope it's just eleven thousand, two hundred and seventy one. Sure, I mean it could be. Yeah, I don't see about why it couldn't be. During the World Series of Poker, Joe Jackson asked, what do you think the final one hundred players of the doublespan event would look like? If the event was not a freeze out on an allowed unlimited re entries, it would be definitely more pro slash high roller heavy. A lot of these, you know, people that have flown out from South Dakota or wherever and one bulleted. Maybe they don't even come out, you know, maybe they just skip it entirely. U and if you, if you are a pro, they can fire multiple times. I think it would look up very similar to like what the five Diamond used to look like. You know, here at the jo in Vegas, where you know, some pros are in for full five six bullets, you know, by the by the final fifty it's pretty much all big names. I think it would looks something pretty similar to that. Yeah, I mean you pretty much took the words right out of my mouth. I would like in it to looking like WPT five Diamond did back in the day. Again, I think a lot of the more recreational or amateur players would be less inclined to come out. So yeah, I love that. I main event the way it is with the buying at ten k, you know, it being a freeze out all that sort of stuff. I don't think it needs to change unless something forces it to change, where like you know, numbers start dipping every single year or something like that. But yeah, I personally don't think that that's going to happen anytime soon. M Richard Holly asked, what are the players poker literature great? Not talking supersystem but like the rounders of books, so like fictional or does he mean just non strategy books. I think he means in just non strategy and just non strategy poker books. I really liked One of a Kind, Well, it's just Shoanga book written by Nolan Dalla and The Check Raising the Devil, the Mike Matasau book, I thought was just very interesting, very fascinating. There's a couple of really good books that I'm actually on my read analysts because I have some time. You know, Blood Ass is one of them, Cowboys Full I think you might have read both of those. They're on my next list, and I've heard just fantastic things about those. Yeah, I think all those are great books. Mine is I think it's an absolute slam dunk. As soon as I read this question, the answer popped right into my head, and that is the Professor of the Banker and the Suicide King inside The Richest Poker Game of All Time, written by Michael Craig. Every time someone asked me about like a poker book that isn't a strategy book. This is the one that I always mentioned every single time. Absolutely love this book. It's about when the quote unquote corporation of a bunch of professional players went up against Andy Beale. Michael Craig was basically like live in the room, like you know, reporting, giving his recollection and everything that happened. I would definitely check out the Professor, the banker, and the suicide King. Logan Hunt said, is Daniel putting too much pressure on himself with the daily vlogs and everything he has going on? Does he need to refocus on playing poker? Is the pressure of not winning a bracelet so long sorry in so fan long getting to him. I think there is some pressure to definitely win another bracelet. I interviewed him last year about this exact question topic about the vlogging, and you know, he said, yeah, basically, I like to do this. It's a way for me to you know, in a way event get my you know, my bad baits out of my mind, toalk through my hands. And he actually enjoys it. He enjoys the rhythm of you know, filming recording, going back to his room and discussing some of the things he did wrong or the things he did he did correctly. So I think he actually enjoys that. I don't think he'll ever stop vlogging. He's already hinted at bringing the vlog back for WS Top Paradise, And you know, he always talks about his fans and trying to grow the game, and this is this is part of it, and I think he realizes that it's kind of important. And if it's doesn't affect him too much, you know, I think he'll keep doing it. It might be affecting him and taking some away of his poker plane. I don't I don't fully know. I mean, he could probably answer it a little bit better than we could. That said, I also don't necessarily think that Daniel really needs to win, like I mean, I think he's gotten to the point where, yeah, he is where he is. Like if if Daniel doesn't win another poker tournament for the rest of his career, like crazy hypothetical, I mean, his legacy doesn't change. In my opinion, He's still one of the best poker players ever, Like, I mean, that's just how he is. I think that this sort of stuff that Daniel does with these vlogs. I mean, I wish that he would do more vlogs. I wish that he would show up to Poker Masters vlogging every single day. I wish he would show up to Super High Rollerable vlogging every single day. Like that's what I wish. I mean, I don't know if that's doable, of course, but like I wish it wouldn't just be the World Series of Poker. I mean, he is like this is like if Lebron James, if Michael Jordan, if you know any of these like top top guys in their sport or industry, put a camera on them basically twenty four seven during the biggest time of the year. I mean, it's incredible content. It's incredible insider information, like just you get to peel back the curtain on what it's like to be not only a poker player during the World Series of Poker, but being one of the biggest best poker players at the World Series of Poker. I mean, it's it's amazing, you know, and you know, I'm sure he makes a lot of money from the vlogs too, so you know, whatever, who needs to win a brace, Well, he just got the YouTube revenue rolling in. Most importantly, he gives us some shout outs. Oh yeah, of course he don't keep your actual listeners. But the vlogs that he does are just great. I think that they're great. So I mean, is he maybe taking away from some of the poker stuff. I mean, I would say that there's an argument for yes, But you said that you talk to him, and there's an argument for no. Where like it actually helps him, Like he can talk through things, he can you know, that sort of stuff. So it can probably go either way. Overall, I don't think that the pressure of not winning embrace that is necessarily getting to him. Obviously. I think that he would like to win one. You know, don't get me wrong. He's extremely competitive and he definitely wants to win. But I think that he also understands that, you know, poker is filled with variants, especially in tournaments. You know. I know that people kind of came at him that one year for for not winning at the WSP, but then he wanted super higher rollable and like over the year and netted out positive. So it's like, I understand that you can like condense the sample size to just the spe but if you expand it over a bigger sample size. He's a huge winner, So I mean, I don't see why you know. I mean, listen, yeah, it's the same sort of thing like I would look at like Phil Helmyton be like, well he's never won a WPT type. It's just how it is. It's just sometimes that's how the cookie crumbles in poker, and especially in poker tournaments. Michael Laramire, I really want to play the main main event this year, but wasn't able to. Deep down, I'm hoping next year is even bigger. If you were in charge of WSP marketing, what would you do to ensure twenty twenty four builds on twenty twenty three success? Is a hundred million dollars guarantee for the main event? Overly ambitious. Uh yeah, that's a big number. But if you did that, I'm pretty sure you would automatically have a bigger main event. But outside of guarantees, which is a very easy way to ensure its size, I would you know, right now basically stop be all in on satellites around the country, around the world with both Caesar's properties and Caesar's partners, and just start the satellite program now and build putting people in and highlighting the amount of seats you've given away, and highlight even highlight some of these players, you know, like whether it's onwsup dot com or through a media partner such as you know, pokon news or card player, and just kind of start now for next year, start building the pool of players where who knows. By you know, May twenty twenty four, you can say, hey, we've already given away eighteen hundred seats and in the main event, and think that helps people just oh, you know, don't take this the wrong way, or there's some value. You know, we have eighteen hundred qualifiers from around the world already, it's not even including online. And then also build that online partnership with GG with WSP dot com and get more players in from the online field as well. I think that's the biggest way to make sure that next year's main event and all future main events are successful. Yeah. I would. I would run back the WISP main event seat for life for a thirty years thing. I would just basically lock that in that if we break the record, anytime we break the record, that's in play. I just put that out there, right And then I agree with you on the satellites. I think you just need to foster the growth from the satellite realm, you know, really just start having them, start start building them. I mean in a way, I think you could even maybe have one that is, at the end of this year's a World Series of ogre for the next year, you know, allow people to kind of win their seat in as they're as they're exiting the World Series of Poker. In a way, I would for sure be highlighting satellite winners or around the world, you know, wherever they come from. I would take an approach to you know what Poker Starts did with the first PSPC, really putting content behind it, you know, telling the stories of these people that win these seats, you know where they came from, how much money they want it for, what it means to them, chasing that dream, all that sort of stuff, because that's just going to create buzz, create fomo, you know, all that sort of stuff, anticipation, blah blah blah, whatever you want to call it. Um, it's really just gonna build towards it. I'm not so sure, you know, a guarantee of one hundred million dollars is really needed on the Osman event, I think that it's it's fine without it. They had almost ninety four million dollars or ninety three million plus in the prize school this year. I think I think if they keep going and they're in the right direction, they'll they'll probably break one hundred million at some point. Um. But yeah, I think it just comes down to really like the satellite stuff and putting people in and then and then promoting those satellites, as Tim said, promoting the numbers, you know, telling people like we got fifteen hundred people that just won their seeds, we got this many people, this many people, like you know, have like a little ticker on the website that's like we've now qualified one thy twenty five and you know, satellite winners, and it just constantly goes up because you know that's going to attract a lot of people to come out and play this event. Daniel ass why does WSP remove bracelet events from the lobby so quickly? I'm assuming he's guessing from the online lobby. UM, I don't know, yeh. I mean, I asked them, actually this is feeding of these questions in But they said something about just so many tournaments on that they just try and clear anything that's kind of complete. It obviously sucks for you know, the media outlets looking for results, or people looking for twenty five k results or you know, maybe just sweating, Oh how did my friend do in that event? But yeah, I don't know why they can't keep it. Maybe it's a new tab, not really sure. It's probably something to do maybe with gaming regulations law. The bracelet events, I think everything definite three dollars rebuy. You can probably get everything else see you later. But the bracelet events I think should certainly stay throughout the summer or you know, if that is an issue, we're like, you know, keeping it online. For whatever reason it is an issue, then have like a dedicated landing page on the website where people can go and the results are populated like you know, prety much almost instantaneously you pulled the report you put it in there. Um that you know that would be be good as well. Yeah, hi, Voss, why aren't there any other events streamed since the main event? Is that just a choice or a production thingum? He added that he loved all the stream final tables throughout the sp Like right now the short deck or the five K eight max would be very entertaining to end the WSP. I mean, this is just there's only one day. Let's just get that. There's only one day. We could do another a stream because the main event finished on you know, on the Monday, and the final day was Tuesday. The second part of that is assets gone. The minute Dan Wyman one and left the main stage, we were pulling it down because it takes a massive team and a massive amount of time to to get that rid of that set. And unfortunately we as in not just pub, we is in the WSP and public have to be out of that space for the next convention to roll in, you know straight away. Convention space is super valuable and super premium in Las Vegas, with very tight windows and turnarounds, and yeah, we had to be out of there quickly. We had our team going home wanting to get back to their families after you know, seven weeks of streaming. So that's the main reason. If the main event was right in the middle of the World Series, you know, we would definitely be streaming afterwards. But the way the cookie crumbled, you know, way for this one, there's only one more event. Didn't really know when I was going to get to a final table, it was just much easier to end on the high note of the record setting main event. I mean, it's it's tricky because part of me wants to say, well, why can't we just you know, going back to what I said earlier in terms of poker grow what we would like to improve, like you know, streaming or streaming as much as possible, Like, well, why can't we do other stuff during the main event, you know, have some secondary tables. But then the other side of me says, well, do you really want to highlight things that are then taking away from the main event, Because let's say you get a main event final table like we had this year, you don't have an absolutely massive name at it. You know, you have a Daniel Wineman, you have a Tobey Lewis as the biggest names, but you know you don't have a Negron, you a helm with and Ivy that sort of stuff. And then let's say at that same time that that's playing out, you know you got Phil Helmey at the final table of the ten k shortech, Well, should you really be focusing on Helm Youth when you want the focus to be on the main event. I mean it, I'm not. I'm just throwing it out there. I'm not really sure that I can give an answer on that right now. I'd have to think about it a little bit more. But you know, it's like, what do you want to highlight? Do you want to highlight this thing that's happening over here because it's got a big name at it, which of course, you know, I know a lot of people would be interested in, you know, or should the focus be strictly on the main event? I mean, that's the biggest and baddest of them all, Like that's the most important tournament, right, So it's tricky, right, Um, So yeah, I don't I don't necessarily know the answer right now, you know, I think end of the end of the day, like I want everything to be streamed from the World Series of Poker. I just don't know that when it comes to basically me an event time, Like, I don't know if yeah, if you do it then right, So I don't know. It's tricky to me. It's it's it's I mean, it's a good question. I mean, I don't know. Who knows. Maybe somebody can have a better answer than than I can.
