In all seriousness. I will now continue with the review. Eugene continues on I started listening to him when he was on the Poker News podcast, where he was always on point, shout out PN pod. Loved the old PAN Pod days. Once he left that pod started going downhill. It's still a good listen. Come on, we don't need a dumbar too much. And then I discovered he was back on the Poker Goad podcast, and it's been fire since. Man, I love Eugene beers on me. I don't drink anymore, but you can have all mine for me. Although I was worried when Remco suddenly and without explanation left, Yeah he did. He left me high and dry. But that doesn't matter because Tim has filled his shoes. Eugene writes, Tim has more than made up for I'm assuming for it and is great in his own right. That is damn right. Not just talking about today's news and poker. There's other features like listening to the South Point exploits the only person getting exploited is Tim family pot and even some added flare which with Rich Ryan. Shout out producer Rich Ryan, who was also good on the Poker News podcast back in the day and should probably be given a mic a bit more. Well, he's not on the mic, Eugene, just quickly, you know, there's still another sense of this review. But Rich isn't on a mic. Rich is remote. He's in Florida, okay, so we send him the files. He does his you know, his editing genius and then gets it all posted up for us. But maybe we'll have him on at some point. Hopefully Rich comes out this summer for the WSP to actually come poker take a shot here or there, and if he does, we'll for sure get him on the podcast as a little I don't know reunion. I guess you know, we need to like get the old like podcast crew back together, like from the Poker News days. Moving on to the news and happenings. First things first, Poker Go Cup, it's in the books, the first major PGT series of the twenty twenty four season. Now, we did have the PGT kickoff series which was brand new that was a lot of fun, but that I mean not trying to dump on it, but we'll call it a minor, right, and then we have the majors, which are Poker gro Cup, US Poker Open, and Poker Masters. Does just super high rollable count as a major. I think it's not a series, no, but it's our biggest event, right, So just take a one off major individual maja. So success unsuccessful? What do you think Pokero Cup twenty twenty four, You know you're the commissioner, you personally think it's it was successful? You can argue that it wasn't the numbers. What are the arguments that it wasn't well, the numbers. The entre numbers were a little lower than we expected. But to provide some context, like in the ten case, you know, they were all hovered around ninety. We expected to kind of eclipse one hundred, kind of like what we did at pokem Maasters back in September last year. Now there's a very very very clear reason why our numbers were a little lower. We jam packed the January schedule with events. We had PGT Last Chance, we had the Championship, we had the kickoff, then players flew to Seminole or Ballgarda to play and they came back here for the Cup. So it's understandable that you may take some time off and elect to say, sit out one of these series. And I know for a fact a lot of players sat out Pocago Cup. But outside of those points, I do think it was a success. You know, we switched everything up up. We did a five K kickoff, I did a few ten ks, couple fifteens, and then the twenty five K finale, so we kind of dropped the buyings down and what that meant is that you could basically keep players in action the whole series. Eighteen players played every event, so that's really strong. We had. You know, obviously a lot of people will skip a five K or they'll skip a twenty five K, but you know, we had fourteen players play seven events, so we saw a lot more consistency throughout the series, which was really good. And then also our entrant numbers held really steadily over the ten k's. Often, you know we're going to go like one hundred ninety five, eighty five, seventy, we have dramatics, deep chop offs, but this series eighty nine, eighty five, eighty one, eighty three in the ten ks, and if you look at the uniques, it was still pretty strong, sixty one uniques, fifty eight, fifty three, fifty four. When we moved on to the fifteen K, strong turnout six and seventy entrants in the twenty five K fifty five, one of the biggest twenty five k's we've done as part of a major series in a long time. And I think that just shows that you know, people were sticking around, they really wanted to win, you know, the Polo Cup, and I think the changes we made. Although, like I said at the top, you know, numbers a little underwhelming to what we may have thought. I think it shows that I think we've hit a really you know, good plan that's going to you know, come USBO, come poker masses. Later this year, I think we're going to have numbers that surpass what we did at the Pocago Cup. Yeah, I think just in general, January, as you mentioned, was very very jam packed. I mean we jampacked it for our player base, specifically, you know, going with the kickoff to start and then obviously leading into the Cup, and that was also on the heels of Last Chance and the championship event, so you know, there was a lot to be had. You know, maybe Ankorles couldn't sustain it, you know, who knows. And then you mentioned the stuff at Borgata and down at Seminole as well, So I would I would guess that with the way that the numbers held pretty strong and that consistently, that consistency, excuse me, played a big role throughout. I think we see a very good turnout for us PO, which is coming up in the first half of April, so I'm very much looking forward to that. I I don't I'm saying this kind of off the coff. I haven't really looked at the numbers in a long time, but I always feel like USPO is like our most attended series. I think it's us PO, then Poker Masters, then Poker Go Cup. I could I could totally be wrong on that. I don't know. Part of me says like the USPO branding, the time slot, all that sort of stuff, like kind of a little bit more trophies, everyone wants one. Yeah, Poker Masters I think, you know, has that kind of like second spot in terms of if I was going to tear them, and then Poker Go Cup is you know, it's the newer one of those three, so you know, but still very prestigious in its own right and certainly worth coming out and battling for. But but yeah, so we'll see how these play out. I mean, it's gonna be it's gonna be fun, all right. So event winners. There was eight events for the twenty twenty four Poker gro Cup. David Peters won the first event, a five thousand dollars opener. He took home one hundred and forty one thousand dollars. Then it was Dylan Wiseman winning event number two, Jonathan Little winning event number three, Carrie Katz winning event number four, Justin Zaki scooped event number five. David Coleman, we've heard his name before on the PGT. This season he won event number six. David Peters back in the winners circle and event number seven gets a second title of this series. But then Jonathan Little comes in off the top rope in the final event, that twenty five K finale, he wins that one for his second title of the series. And in that one, Jonathan Little took home four hundred and fifty three thousand, seven hundred and fifty dollars. So in terms of who stood out, David Peters of course, right, David Peters is you know, one of the best performing players on the high Roller Circuit and more specifically in PGT events over the years. So him coming out performing well winning two events, he certainly stands out in that. But he has he hasn't been around the studio in a while, Tim, No, he's been deep in the meta us, I believe, and at times he's been like I'm playing online in Mexico or whatever. So you know, maybe maybe now maybe now because he has a kid on the way, he's gonna be stuck at home in Vegas. Good, so so just driving on down to the studio, like that's gonna be his thing. I don't I don't know, you know, an appetite for getting on a plane. You know, when you're is you know, several months pregnant, how that's going to really go over? So so yeah, so maybe we'll steal a little bit more from him. His first win in the Poker Goro studio since he had three wins in June twenty twenty one. That was during US Pokeer Open and then his first PGT victory since August twenty twenty two. And that was a super high or sorry it's not super seminal hard Rock Poker Open event. The fifty k were we there for that one? Was that the one we were there for? I can't remember trying. I think he might have been twenty twenty three, Yeah, no, twenty one, No, we were twenty twenty two for sure? You sure, yeah, I'm pretty sure? All right. Another player who stood out justin Zaki. He won a veent number five for two hundred and thirty two thousand dollars and then he came second to Jonathan Little in the final event, and that was important because so Jonathan Little wins the Poker Go Cup, the whole the whole series, the whole thing. As you know, if you're new here, I will tell you that our series, our major series, there is a series leaderboard and then the champion of that series. So the Poker Go Cup champion for twenty twenty four is the person that earns the most points over the entire series. That was Jonathan Little this year. Okay, Jonathan Little had those two wins. But in that final event, so David Peters is in front, he's on top of the leaderboard, He's got a fade like a bunch of people winning. It was Jonathan Little, it was justin Zaki, and there was somebody else if I remember correctly, and I can't remember off the top of my head. But anyway, Zachie and Little get heads up. So now it's guaranteed that David Peters is not winning the Cup because if Zaki would have won the tournament, the event number eight, the twenty five K, then he would have won the Cup. If Jonathan Little would have won, then he wins the Cup. As it turns out, Jonathan Little bested Justin Zaki in heads up play took home that four and fifty three thousand dollars first place prize. So good on Jonathan Little. He won have number three for two hundred and twenty nine thy five hundred. He won event number eight. He also cashed in event number one, where he took seventh place. He cashed in event number five, he took ninth place. It's his third best poker year in terms of live tournament winnings already, and it's only February thirteenth right now. And he's been around for nineteen twenty years. He's been around forever. I mean he kind of stormed onto the scene back in the day, you know, won some WPG titles all that sort of stuff, went and started poker coaching dot com that has been wildly successful, and now he is a poker grol Cup champion. Also kind of coincidentally, the whole timing thing while he was getting a lot of flack on social media from Matt Burkey, like that's all going on. You got you got Burkie and Daniel Legron, You're going at it over the whole Jonathan Little thing, and about what Jonathan Little like puts out there on social media, and you know, Burkey's going at him, and then Burkey was going to Daniel for some of his plays, and it was a whole thing for what a week and a half, two weeks, it just kept going. All while this is happening, Jonathan Little is just out there battling with some of the best tournament players in the world at the Poker Go Cup, wins two of those events, cashing in two other ones, and wins the entire Poker Grol Cup. So yeah, I mean, Jonathan Little walk the walk man. I mean, he had himself a great week. He crushed it on the felt he is the Poker Cup champion. You know, he's he hasn't been like the most consistent regular in PGT events, but he played every event at the Poker Cup. Maybe now he plays a lot more stuff that we have going on now that he has had the success. He's moved quite a bit of ways up the PGT leaderboard where he now sits in third overall. So maybe he has a little bit more motivation to push towards that leaderboard, finishing inside the top forty, all that sort of stuff. I believe Jonathan lives out in New York, has a family and all that sort of stuff. So not not sure how often you know he'll he'll be wanting to travel, you know, come out here to Vegas. But I would anticipate that we see him for US Poker Open and that would be great to see him out there to see if he can he can, I don't know, make make some runs there go on to win it. I would like to someday see like a triple crown, you know, much like you see in horse racing, Like somebody comes out and wins whatever. The first one is the Bellmon or the Derby or Preakness. I have no idea which one's first. Then they win the next one. It's like, oh my gosh, they're going for the triple crown. I mean, that would be cool to see, right, So make it happen, Jonathan Little. In terms of the PGT leaderboard, it's still David Coleman up on top. Of course, getting that win in event number six at the Poker Grol Cup, which he took home three hundred and two thousand, four hundred dollars for that helped boost him even further up on top of the leaderboard. He has nine hundred and thirty seven points. Kristin Foxon is second with six hundred and sixty six points. She had some success at the Poker Girl Cup as well, made a final table or two, and then, as I mentioned, Jhonathan Little moves up into third on the PGT leaderboard. So, yeah, the race is hot and heavy to start. I like it. You know, it got kind of some new faces. I do have to pat myself on the back. I'm sorry, Tim, but breakout players on the PGT, I said David Coleman. I said, Kristen fox And they are one and two right now. So I think we deleted those podcasts. I'm not sure there's any proof of that. Looking down the leaderboard, tenth place Daniel Legron new two hundred and sixty nine points. Daniel, of course we have mentioned it before. I will say it again. He is going with the quality over quantity approach. He even skipped the twenty five K at the Poker Girl Cup, right, you know, he he was saying, you know, he came out and he said, listen, I'm probably not going to play any of these five K events. Okay, fine, no big deal. Played. Some of the others made a final table but even said he wasn't feeling it for the twenty five K and decided to not come and play that, which you know, I think you missed out because, as you said, you know, one of our largest twenty five k's that we've had in some times, so could have seen Daniel out there battling. But hey, listen, he's off to a good start in twenty twenty four. He's off to a good start for the twenty twenty four PGT leaderboard race. So we'll see what comes from Daniel legrand new which will likely start with what's coming up, and that is the PGT Mixed Game Series and tim you want to hit on, like what that is, when it's going to happen, all that sort of stuff. Yeah, it's kicking off February twenty eighth, running through March eighth. It's a third edition. Dan Zach won the first one early last year, China Reem won it in October. We've got ten events. Something new for this series is we're kicking it off two five K buyings open the series five K horse five K a game, then we're going into a ten K horse ten K eight game. Those four events for the first time we are streaming those from the Triangle Room at the Poco Studio. So four of these events are getting streamed, the four probably biggest events we're going to have in the series. Then we go kind of pretty much the same schedule we've done before. We've got a triple start, We've got a triple draw, We've got a Big Bet Mixed Dealer's Choice, the ten Game Championship, and the five K no limit Deuce. Also, if you want to get in for cheap, February twenty sixth and twenty seventh, we've got a seven hundred and fifty dollars horse satellite in the Aria Poker Room one pm. The next day, feb twenty seventh, seven to fifty eight game in the Aria Poker Room. Both of those, I believe we're going to have a discount on the fee for on time entry TD. Paul Campbell is about to release the satellite structure. But yeah, you want to get in cheap, that's the way. Leaderboard winner ten K and the PGT Gold Cup coming your way if you can top the PGT Mixed Games Leaderboard boom. Looking forward to it. I think it's going to be I'm sitting in the mixed game group chat. I feel like, are they talking about it? Are they? I mean, it's been a little cold, you know, recently obviously, but as we were prepping this, the schedule and moving some stuff around seemed very bullish. It feels like, you know, this time slot, this early in the year time slot is the best one. And just for transparency, we're probably not doing this twice a year. We're just going to keep it to once a year and kind of double down on this one being kind of the series to come to. So I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping we get some new faces. I think that's always important, and hopefully, you know, we get the guys that you know, we've expected to come that haven't yet, you know, come out and have a crack. Yeah. There are some players that have posted some action over on poker steak dot com. Alan Kessler chief among them, because he has one, two, three, four, five, six, seven different listings up here. So if you want some action of Chainsaw, he hasn't. He hasn't played any before, right, He's he hasn't played any of the mix same series. He's played like one Pokemasa's eight game, and he didn't like the structure and you know has complained ever since that event three years ago. Always good to see the action that's up there, and there's often a lot of times there's action for the series that we are running on the PGT all right after PGT Mixed Games we got, i mean, probably the most popular PLO series in the world, right, I mean, is there another one? Technically there is one going right now? I think in King's Casino, the Big Rap. Is it the Big Rap? Yeah, that's I think that's kind of it. But is it right now? I thought it was in the second half of the year. Oh, I think it might times it's running, Yeah, I thought it was. Yeah. Final day was yesterday, final day of the hundred years. Guys that won a bunch of money over there can now come over here, right? Is that that's how we're doing it? All? Right? What is this series about? When is it? PGTPLO series March twentieth to twenty ninth, also the third edition Latara Guerrera and Daniel Geng the previous series champions ten events. We're mixing it up again with this one. We're doing two five K plos. We're doing a five K progressive knockout that's new, bringing back the fifteen K Progressive knockout that was very popular. The finale of the of the series, Event ten is going to be a five K PLO dealer's Choice. You can play any of the six games listed that He also includes two double boards, so that's a new twist as they're always twenty five k. Pl Championship is the marquee event of the series as Event nine ten K Championship bonus for the leader board winner and the PGT Gold Cup, streaming every final table until the finale and four satellites two in the poker room on March eighteenth and nineteenth. Five hundred and sixty dollars buying March twentieth, six pm in the studio after registration has closed in that day's event. Five sixties buying for that March twenty second, the day before the first ten K at an eleven hundred plow satellite six pm in the studio after registration has ended in that day's event. So four satellites get people in to these events for cheap or we're doing four or five KS and a seventy five hundred bounty, so some lower price points all the way up to we've got a fifteen KPKO, a fifteen K PLOS straight up normale, then the twenty five K Championships, So a bit of a variety there for all kinds of players, you know, for those willing to gamble a little bit. I'm talking to you Euros that are traveling in. We got those those PKOs. That's going to be very, very juicy. Yeah, I mean the PLO series is one of my favorites. I know this is only going to be the third edition, we've only run it two times in the past. But I mean just the player group that you get for this one, like the style in which they play, like the general amount of gambling that's going on within the room. Like I love it, right, I mean, listen, I don't know anything about PLO, Like, I'm not an expert in the game, you know, I obviously know how to play it and whatnot, but it's it's super fun to to you know, to watch these guys battle. You get some of the absolute best potlom and Omaha players in the world coming out. Uh you know, to to to take place in the PGT PLO series. I know you talk with a lot of them and trying to craft whatever the perfect schedule might be. So very much looking forward to you know, those guys coming out once again and battling. You know, it's it's a lot of fun, it really is. So gonna have a nice different group of people. As you mentioned, Tim, you know, we're gonna be live streaming nine of those final tables from that series. So you know, if if you've watched in the past, we kicked off streaming from our secondary studio with the second PLO series last year, so you know, you'll notice that you get a lot of different characters that you might not see on a lot of poker live streams and on a lot of Poker Go or PGT live streams. So certainly come on out and watch these guys play because they are some of the best of the best. And you know, if you're doing anything like I don't know even if you're just if you're doing like Poker Fantasy leagues or you're doing the ODB League or any anything like that for the World series, or if you're just looking for people to kind of keep an eye on for the World series. I feel like the PGT PLO series is a good point of research in a way for that because all these guys will be out at the series. The series of course, and in the summer has a ton of PLO events worked within the overall series, so you know, and they have everything from what like five hundred six hundred dollars buyings all the way up to a fifty k maybe they put one hundred k on it this year, who knows, but you know they have they have both of those and they have everything in between. So you'll see a lot of those same types of characters come out for the PGT PLO series. So yeah, if you feel like, you know, hold them might be a little boring for you because you see it all the time. Well, you're getting PGT mixed games, some streams from from that series, and then you're going to get a bunch of streams from the PGTP Thow series, So a lot of fun stuff is really coming up for the PGT in general. And then of course all that's going to lead into the US Poker Open. It's going to take place at the first half of April, So big stuff happening on the PGT. A lot of fun. Would again, I would echo if you're interested in playing these events. Those satellites that Tim mentioned, like, that's just a great opportunity to get in overall. And and those satellites, you know, we'll be all listed on PGT dot com in the schedule section. Then whenever we get structures, Tim might put those up there as well and stuff like that. So yeah, definitely check those out if you know, if you want to try and hop into a PGT event, maybe you don't have five K, but you know, maybe you got five hundred dollars, seven hundre dollars something like that, so you can get into one of those satellites. The Celebrity Poker Tour Invitational too, all right, So this this is a special event that the Celebrity Poker Tour comes out to the Poker Go Studio. They basically rent the place out, we do the production, we stream it, all that sort of stuff. It's like a partnership to put it out there. But this one was was wild. It took place a couple of days before the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, so as you could imagine, there was a lot of like big name athletes and celebrities out in Las Vegas just in general around that time because of the Super Bowl. So yeah, there was there had to be at least a dozen, maybe fifteen twenty NFL players and like good name NFL players like Keenan Allen, Austin Eckler, Aaron Jones, like you know, legit NFL guys right like we're out here playing. You had a lot of like social media stars, influencers, all that sort of stuff. I mean, it was. It was a very cool crowd. It's not like, I know, going into it, you might be like, why would I watch this? Like this isn't Daniel Legrown. You feel how many phil IVI, et cetera, Like why why should I care? Well, let me tell you. I mean, and Tim can attest to the fact that I was crying, laughing for an hour, probably an hour and a half straight, like I couldn't. I was in the studio, but I was in a in the kind of a back area, and I had the stream up and I was watching, I mean, the play the hands, the personalities, the table talk. It was outrageous, absolutely outrageous. Some of these hands, Like I mean, I started to not believe that they were real at some point, just the way that they were playing out, the stuff that was happening like it was. It was crazy. If you don't want to sit through the whole stream, I know, Remco put up a sort of highlight video, but but there was there were so many highlights that the highlight video is like an hour and ten minutes long because it was it was I say, outrageous. Outrageous doesn't do it justice, like the stuff that was happening. Ultimately, at the end of the day, Princess Love tops the seventy three entrant field. She won twenty thousand dollars for doing so. It's a it's a free roll, right, and they put up fifty k yeah, slippery Koger Tour puts up fifty k. How many places paid thirteen nine O nine so and then twenty k up top. But yeah, Princess Love ends up. It was supposed to be nine. But there was a three way elimination on the bubbles. Yeah, it was. It was wild. I mean it was not. Yeah, it was like that's like a thing that happened, Like there was an elimination on one table, but then at the same time, there was a double elimination on the other table, like all at the same time. It was. The whole thing was madness. I start to finish, So a lot of fun there. Princess Love again tops it. She's had a pretty good recent run. She's up to seventy thousand dollars in winning. She had a fortieth place finish in the WPT World Championship back in December, where she took home more than one hundred and thirty thousand dollars. She could finished second to Jonathan Little in the Stormas Invitational three back in October, where she won eighty thousand dollars there. So Princess Love is crushing, man, She's crushing. She is. She justts to play in the shio you think about its bright. She knows she played I think she played off kickoff, kickoff. Sorry sorry she event. Yeah, maybe now that she's got a little bit more money, maybe now that she's got a little bit more success, she still start diving into those those bigger buy in fields. I mean, listen, it's not it's not the easiest thing to make that jump. I get it, like it's you know, it's those fields are tough, you know. But you know, once you start getting that heat, you start getting that momentum, you know, maybe you just start trying to ride the rush. Right, Yeah, let's go. High six Poker is coming up soon. Season twelve premieres on Monday, February nineteen, So we're recording this on Tuesday, February thirteen. So next Monday coming up, we're getting new episodes of High Stakes Poker season twelve. I think we've said it before, we'll say it again, but everything that we've heard it's pretty bananas this season, so I'm very much looking forward to it. You want to talk about some of the new players and some old players that are going to be on the show. Yeah, we have four players making the High Stakes Poker debut, Vivian Yang, Andrew Sassin, Andrew Picheka, and Santosh the man guys being playing all these high stakes cash game streams. He wont to bracelet at WSP Europe, so he's basically the man of the hour and he's making his debut on season twelve. We're a couple big returning players Brandon Adams first appearance since season eight in twenty twenty one, and Phil Lack first appearance since season seven, which was two thousand and eleven, so he took that ten year gap between season seven and eight, but he's coming back. You know, his wife Jennifer Tilly is playing, Andrew Robo, Jean ra berbolon all these big names are playing. And yeah, like you said, it's we've hurt. We haven't seen anything yet. All we've heard is this season is gonna be crazy, amazing, massive hands So maybe one of the biggest parts of all time we'll have to see whenever that airs. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, as far as I'm concerned. You know, coming off of last season, coming off of some of the no Gamble, No Future stuff, mainly cash, the Titans like Andrew Robles the top dog Yeah. Now, like he's the guy, right, he's the guy that like he's the end boss in terms of high stakes cash games. He's the guy you got to take down. And you know, he's just absolutely crushing overall. So it'll be good to see him back. I'm I've said it before, I'll say it again. I'm a sucker for Jennifer Tilly. I think she's incredible in these high stakes cash games. You know, she plays a bit unorthodox. Guess she brings a super colorful, super booming personality to the table that's a lot of fun to play with. So looking forward to having her there. And then listen, Philock's back, man. I have no idea what to expect from Phil Locke, no idea whatsoever. But we'll see I guess, like I'm ready. Is he gonna go full unibomber, He's he gonna wear the ski goggles? Like, What's what's Phil Lock gonna be? Is he gonna just be an old withered man? That's what I thought we saw with phil Ivy, Right, phil Ivey like came back to Isaac's pokeram might have played two hands in two seasons? Is that that's what I think? It's gonna happen. I'm surprised, but I think he's He's not the character he used to be. He's, you know, little a little more. I think he's still gonna be in there mixing. He gonna be personality like like the wackiness that we saw before. But I think, who knows, it's still lock. I never know what to expect with that guy, exactly. All right, So High six Poker, Yeah, I mean that that's going to be great again. That's that's Monday Season twelve. Twelve premiers will be new episodes just about every single Monday, leading us pretty much right up to the twenty twenty four World Series of Poker, which is what we're going to talk about next, although we don't really have a lot of stuff to go on other than the fact that the series is running May twenty eighth through July seventeenth. The main event is July third through the seventeenth, and then keV Math seems to be putting it out there that the schedules coming out this week. So where is it? I'm ready? Are you ready? I'm ready? Like, can you give us the schedule already? I know when they put out the dates, the announcement about the dates back in December, you know, they said, like a lot of the mainstays are are going to be coming back. Of course, you know the main event though, but you're also going to have the Mystery Millions. You know, that big one thousand dollars buy Mystery Bounty tournament. It's going to be back, the Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack, like all that sort of stuff. You know. I can't imagine the fifty k PPC goes anywhere, So that should be back and then and then we'll see what else they bring. I'm looking forward to what they do for Like, I'm curious if they bring back Gladiators of Poker like it I don't know, I mean it crushed last year, but yeah, but the Gladiators of Poker from me fell into the I feel like that tournament they kind of changed every single year, like that was the big welcome event. Yeah, but now I think I think that the like the basically the welcome or the kickoff event, or however you want to classify it is is now going to be that Mystery Millions, right, Like that should be at the front of the series. Uh see, I'm no, I feel like you want to put some big stuff later on. I like stuff at the end of June when you know people are going to come out play that and potentially polly that into the main event. I don't want to give people a reason to take that money home. I want to build up to the main event where everyone like on that who is buying levels still have stuff ahead of the main event. The thing is seven weeks long, man, It's like, not like this is a week. It should be longer. It's just two four months. Just block off June and July. No, I'm not leaving that place. No. Last year they had ninety five Live Gold Bracelet events when you include the online events that they had in Nevada, slast, New Jersey, because those player pools are combined than what they had in Michigan, Pennsylvania, anywhere else that I'm forgetting kind of don't think so on A yeah, I have no idea, but they went well over one hundred. But it's you know, obviously the focus is on the Live Gold Bracelet events. So is this the year they hit one hundred? Oh god, I think they have to. We're so close, only five events off. But the thing is, a way do you fiddle these events? Because you know, you look at the schedule, it's so passed. Yeah, WHOA don't the dates. The dates are pretty much the same in length of you know what I saw actually the other day I forgot to tell you, but I'll bring it up now. I was driving to the studio. One of the billboards like out here by Henderson had like WSP Dealer Training now open really on it. I was like, oh, okay, well they do need some more dealers. So I mean, if you're gonna if you're gonna have one hundred events, you're for sure gonna probably need to find some new dealers just because that was extra five. They can be one day turbos. I think the one day turbos we've gone away from. There's like maybe two or three I think on the schedule last year. One of them won by Phil helm With That's an easy way to get to one hundred events. They play quick. People like them. I think you could sprinkle them in on a Sunday. You know, a couple of one K, two K Turber, you could play with all kinds of price points, three K Turbo, four K Turbo, who cares. That's a good way to get to one hundred I think it would get good turnouts. And from a staffing perspective, they're quick, they're twenty minute levels or whatever you choose. You know you're going to cycle through players very rapidly. He's not going to use up a whole like the whole room. So I'm teamed. I'm team to both. Yeah, I'm I'm kind of with you, but I'm going to push back a little bit, slash, kind of change the course of what you're saying, because I think that might just be a little bit too watered down if you're just firing out turbos, you know, not that things haven't become a little bit watered down already. I know obviously that's a hot topic. But what I will say is that they could probably just like steal a lot of what we do on the PGT, like two day events, forty minute levels, twenty five k buy and so you add like five of those, right basically lock all the high rollers inside Paris and Horseshoe like, like I would really like beef up like a high roller section or like a high roller room, right, make it make it the thing right, and like that that event is for like twenty five ks plus and it's like a special room. It's decked out like you know, you know what I mean, like really like go over the top with it. And then you can easily add like I don't know, three twenty five k's and two fifty ks to the schedule and and that way, like those player pools are a little bit smaller, so you might not have to deal with the massive dealers, like you start adding like three fifteen hundreds to get to one hundred, you know, and then you know a five k and something else like oh yeah, you're right, I think, and you have a whole bunch of dealers, you know, but make these like you know, two day tournaments, you know, for like the the Justin Bonhamos, the Shawn Winters of the world, like those those types of players. Right, yeah, no, that's probably a better idea when if we're gonna worry about the logistics of the WSP, which is what a lot of people don't think about it. They don't think about the staffing, the space, how many dealers, how many flaw stuff, how many tables, how many chairs this place has, because you know, even if you look at last year, there's days where there's eight ten events all going on at once, and it's hard to you know, imagine trying to organize that, you know, the dealers and everything with the shifts over ten events in one day. So yeah, it gets it can definitely get a bit crazy. I don't envy the situation those guys are in sometimes. So we know, we know a lot of the same tournaments that have you know, the Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack, et cetera. Like, we know all those are coming back. I'm assuming all those what is it, four hundred to eight hundred or quote unquote deep stack tournaments with how they classify them, those are all going to come back. Those are the special the only events I'm going to play this Hey, those are those are good tournaments. They're quick. A lot of those are two day events, like you said, yeah, I mean they're great at that price point. I would expect nothing more. My question is that, like we know all that stuff is coming back, Like, what would you like to see? I know we've kind of touched on this in the past, but like now it seems like the schedule's coming out in a couple of days, hopefully maybe by the end of this week, hopefully, Again, what do we want to see, Like Okay, how about this, not more of like what do you want to see? How about this? If the events you name right now aren't on the schedule, you would consider it a miss I think, and I think you have been the leader of this. A singing is high roller should be on there. It crushed at the wind. It feels like the people out there. I see it on Twitter here and there that people are requesting it, so not adding that. I don't know if it's a five K, a ten K, I don't know what the price point is. I don't know where it should be relative to the other singings events, but probably not doing that would be a big missed opportunity. If you look at the popularity of the Mystery Man, the Mystery Millions, the Bounty Turbo, the Helm with One, and like the PKOs at the Win, the PKOs we do it would it would shock me if there wasn't like a progressive knockout what it could be holding It could be plo if there wasn't some version of that on the schedule. I don't know if it's you know, a five K, ten K, a twenty five K. I don't know what the price point is because they're very labor intensive, but having a PKO I think would be not having a p koor. It would be a missed opportunity. So those are the two vents that really stand out to me. And a third one I would say, I don't want them to do this, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. Was would be one hundred KPLO. You know we did it. It was I would say successful. W SP is just a different beast. If they were to put on a hundred KPLOW, it would absolutely crush person. From the PGT perspective. I hope that didn't do it so that we're the only one hundred KPLO in the world. So selfishly, I hope they missed that opportunity. Yeah, I mean I think I agree with you on all of them. You know, seniors high roller to me, like you can just kind of bunch it up into that quote unquote Seniors Week type of thing. Yeah, you have the seniors, you have the super seniors. I would target ten k for the price point for that. I mean, that's what the WPT did. They got one hundred and sixty two entries, so that's you know, one point five one point six million dollars in the prize school almost a four n ok first place prize that was won by Daniel Lowry. But also like with that event, you're starting to get a lot of players who are aging into the Yeah, like they were the most popular players like during the poker boom, you know, and I think that they would start playing this event, like in Eric Sidel who finished in eleventh place in the WPT Seniors high Roll, or like you know you have John Juwanda, he played it as well, he finished in sixteenth place, like Phil Helmy's gonna get out there, like, you know, all these types of guys, these big names, and maybe maybe they lean to skip if it's like the one K seniors, right, just because of the field size and all that sort of stuff. But if it's a high roller, if it's a ten k, right, I think that'd be a really really cool tournament. You know, you gotta figure, anytime the WSP does something that somebody else might have done, the WSP is just gonna be what two x bigger at least three x bigger. So if the WPT ten K Seniors high Roller got one hundred and sixty two entries, WSP is getting three hundred four hundred five hundred, right, I mean, like especially if you put it in that week, right, I mean that like that would be amazing. So I would absolutely love to see that one. I think you gotta do some sort of PKO. I mean, I get the labor intensive side of things, and it's not easy when you have a tournament series at the scale that the WOP is. But so maybe you take a PKO and you just go higher buying with it, like a twenty five's the easiest. Yeah, you know, so that the field size is a bit condensed. But I think p ko's are are a ton of fun, So I would certainly incorporate that. I know they have the the mystery millions already on the schedule. I know they have what the didn't they have like a ten K mystery bounty type of ten k? Yeah? That make you one? Yeah, Like I think you could do probably another mystery bounty like a twenty five k or something. I mean I always feel like kind of the sky's the limit for like what the WSOP can do. Right, So there's that and then listen, I mean I don't I don't care if they take the crown from us in terms of the biggest buy in PLO event. I want them to do it. I want them to do one hundred K POO, like, let's go right, like, I I mean, I even think that they could make a two It could have a be a two hundred fifty K for all I care. I mean, like, well that actually I would prefer that than a hundred I mean, just really, don't und let's just go to fifty. I mean the numbers for the one hundred k the fifty K PLO tournaments or sorry, the fifty K and the twenty five K PLO tournaments last year were bananas. Yeah, PLO is lit right now, like it is absolutely on fire. I mean now they have they have a good kind of test case in that let's say the PGT PLO series absolutely bombs out. Okay, maybe you pull back, right, I don't think anyone's gonna guess that it's gonna bomb because PLO is incredible right now, like everyone loves it, so so yeah, I would go for it. I would slap, you know, a two hundred and fifty K polo tournament out there and just be like, let's go, like you're gonna get what forty people? YEA easily in a two fifty K eight plo. I mean it's gonna be freaking bananas. I mean it's and it's it's like so many different players than you see in like the two hundred and fifty k no limit, right, It's just because it's just such a different group op and like you just get some of these guys, A lot of the guys that came out and played the hundred k PELO super high roll over that we did. You know that you don't see play one hundred k tournament if it's no limit hold them, right, So I think that that would be very cool to see. And then and then I guess one more thing that I'm I would like to see is like how are they attacking the main event this year? Right? So last year was obviously a big, big push. They did push two years ago to hopefully get the record number, but last year was really the push, right Yea, they hit it. They smashed it over ten thousand entries, like just blew it out of the park. They made first place twelve point one million, that made sure topped the twenty six twelve million. So like all of that sort of stuff, like what what's gonna be the thing this year for the main event, like, how are you gonna take it to the new height? Right? Is that infinitely more satellite winners, satellite partners? Like is it? Are you taking that approach and qualifying more people? Are you putting some sort of guarantee on it? Obviously we know that there was a whole big thing about in December World Poker Tour versus WSP World Poker Tour. I mean, they officially have the title as largest guaranteed poker turner right now. We know that WSP main event gets a larger prize school, of course, but they haven't put a guarantee on the prize pool, so that that I guess marketing headline is currently with the World Poker Tour. So does WSP come swinging right say hey, we're going to guarantee one hundred million, We're gonna do this, We're gonna do that. I mean, who knows, right, I put nothing past anyone. So I'm kind of excited just to see how they attack the WSP. I mean, I think I think after last year topping ten thousand, and some people were like, the way it's going, it might hit eleven thousand. Like, I mean, I think we're probably safe to say ten thousand is maybe the new floor, you know, unless they totally pull back on like satellite qualifiers now, but I don't, I don't expect that to happen. So if ten thousand is the new floor, I mean, where are we going from here? Right? So I'm very much looking forward to that. So it's gonna be it's gonna be a lot of fun. And then of course this isn't you know about an event that's you know, on or not on the schedule, but just separately looking forward to, like dissecting it from a streaming perspective, seeing what we can put out there for the fans, you know, trying to break that sort of thing down is always like a big giant puzzle. I know you love it as well, so I love the It's a labor of love, man, come on. So so yeah, I'm uh, I'm excited for it, you know, I can't wait to see. I guess what kind of new additions they always they also always have, like don't they always like kind of drop one or two things off. I don't know about always. I mean, yeah, you probably look at the numbers and say, Okay, this event hasn't performed well, let's okay, Well, is there any event that come out to you that might not have performed well in recent years? I can't even like. I mean, the only events that really stand out to me that if you told me, hey, we're cutting these, I don't think anyone care. Really, it would be the short deck events. You know we took no we we as in plug oe. H. Don't people hate like the OE tournaments? No. I think there's a there's always there's an OE tournament. It's just NonStop bitching for that. That's probably David Baker, but like there's a lot of people that love OE out there. It's a short deck in America. I just I don't think it's caught on like it was expected. We tried to do it, it didn't really take off. WSP Obviously people play it like they want to try something. Maybe, you know, I don't think too many people would care if you got rid of say the ten k or the fifteen hundred. Maybe you want to keep one, but like I could see that like going away. Outside of that, I don't like, I don't think there's anything you really like need to remove. It's just about figuring out how do we add some new events? You know, you know, do we want to go from like we said, ninety five to one hundred or to one hundred and ten, you know in a few years. It's it's you know, you're gonna have to cut some cut some things away and then add new things. It's it's just hard to do that. But yeah, in my mind, get rid of the short deck, no one will care. Leave everything else. Add some new stuff, and uh, you know, maybe we see a ten k badogie. The bougie went pretty well. I could see a ten k badoogie added, that'd be pretty fun. I also think that they could probably target I know I talked about, like, you know, the the turf war I guess if you could call it between WPT and w SIP in December, although it really wasn't a turf war because one was in Vegas, one was in Bahamas, but a community war, I guess. But the WPT got a lot of buzz for the WPT Prime Championship right one K ten million dollars guaranteed or or was it five million dollars guarantee? But then they got ten million I can't what it was. Could the WIP come out swinging with a one K and have like a ten million dollar guarantee. I mean they'd hit it easily, right, Like, is that at least a WSP like doing like guarantees, Like they don't really need it, Like I know they have seen gute but listen, I understand you just understand that. Yeah, but like, I mean, but that's what we saw in December, right, So that's why I'm I'm bringing it up. It's like you don't you don't think you're gonna see something and then you see it, like they were very much pushing WSP paradis, like, hey, it's X amount of dollars guaranteed. It's fifteen million for this, it's five million for Like they were pushing the guarantees, and you don't often see the WSP pushing guarantees. Yeah, they push guarantees for like the Gladiators of Poker. This that you know, but but everything else is like it's we all know ws AP is the biggest and best series, Like we all know that, right, So they don't even really need the guarantees. But now that their biggest competitor has come out and and basically taken the in a way, taking the guarantee crown and not only have they like taken that guarantee crown, but like WPT is certainly like strutting around with it, right, So is that like okay, we got to come out, like we got to like lay the hammer down and be like, listen, we don't need guarantees, but we're gonna do it just because we're going to prove a point here, you know, like we're gonna That's what I would do, right, I mean, well why not? I guess the follow that you know, we're talking from the WSP perspective. If I'm WPT, am I doing the July event again? Are we going? Are we going to continue this little bit? We've talked about this before. If they do that event, it has to be a main tour event, no more special event. Nonsense. Well you need to call up your buddy, uh, mister Plisker, I'm tell him that, call up my butt. No, I'm not going to call up anyone. I'm just gonna put it on here. Matt Savage will hopefully hear it while he is on the golf course, hopefully hitting a hole on one, taking money from a bunch of people, and then he can text Adam and tell him, actually, you know what, they can't get no special event nonsense. Okay, tour. So WSP released their schedule last year, right then WPT, you know, like everyone else in the in the city waits for WSPS and then they figure their stuff out and they put theirs out. They put those out. Obviously WSP got mad then they did the whole Paradise thing. Does WSP now think okay, win probably, I mean WPT probably want to do something in July. Should we stack the later part of the schedule with stuff to prevent them, Like you know, there's always the ten K six MAC six max is very late. Maybe they move that up a bit. Maybe they add you know, you mentioned some two day twenty five k's. Maybe they do some of that stuff to in a way like prevent WPT putting their main tour, you know, and the back end back and of the WSP. Mate, what do you think do you think they're gonna try and play a little bit of a bit of chess here? I mean they might, who knows, right? Oh, another thing that I thought of, I'm curious if they do anything with Player of the Year, right, I know, Sean diging the score kind of kind of everything. You know, remember Sean Deeb last year, I think it was on on the podcast where he was like, I'm trying to get together like everyone puts in money and like we do it ourselves type of thing, like you know, does does that? Obviously Sean Deeb was always in contention for for WSP Player of the Year. He's a big WSP player personality, like somebody that I'm guessing they have a relationship with to some extent, So like is he pushing for it? Are they going to do something? Are they going to like have try and bring a big, big sponsor into it. And then also the stuff about like you know, changing like the formula or the way that it's scored or whatever. I think Daniel and Legrando has come out and said that like they are looking to do some changes in that regard. So I don't know, are they you know, I you know, again, wait and see. But I'm curious if if that sort of stuff happens. But you know, we'll find that out when the schedule comes out and everything. But I would be curious to see what. I not find out that until May, right, Like, I don't think they anyone announced. Sure, yeah, I mean you can definitely do yeah, but I'm still as it pertains to the w SP and stuff, like, I'm sure certainly gonna be looking for that if it's a thing, or or maybe we just don't see it and it's not a thing and it's the same as it was. I don't really know, but you know, I would like I mean, I don't want to speak on the points scoring. I don't know if I'm educated enough to discuss that and whether it's good or bad. I would like a prize, you know, I know, what have they done before? They do a banner, a main events seat. I think that's it. Like, I know they've done a truck before. I mean, I think they could do some stuff. I think they could work. You know, if if if I'm a GG poker, I may sponsor the player of the year, I may put up two hundred thousand dollars of prizes for like the top five, where first could just be as simple as first as one hundred K package to WSP Europe and then second is fifty K. Like do some prizes that actually benefit you know, the WSP and in particular WSP Europe or WSB Paradise if that's if that's on the cards again, you do something as simple as that. Doesn't need to be a Ford truck or a you know for BMW or I think it can be stuff that actually benefits the WSP product, which is making people play more events outside of Las Vegas. Yeah, I mean, listen, I am always a sucker for a car, you know. I know they they did that before. Of course, I believe the WPT did that. Two years WPT did a car, Yeah, for the Tournament of Champions. I think the one year when you know we're talking about wspwas mainavment champion Daniel Wineman when he won the Tournament of Champions. I think he won a car. Maybe it was an Alpha Romeo. I can't remember exactly kind of maybe he took the cash, I have no idea. But then there was a Corvette another year, So didn't WPT do was it the Gardens Poker Championship gave out a car? Oh? Yeah, I think they gave out a Mercedes. Yeah, I remember that one. Listen. I'm down for cars, I like and I know a lot of times like people end up just taking the cash equivalent or whatever, like, but still like could you imagine a car like in the center of the horseshoe room, like where the horseshoe table is running wrapping like vinyl stick stuff, Like I should actually send you my Cadillac of poker rendling, like that's what they should do. Oh like on a rot on a rotating platform. So it's like slowly spinning. Giveaway guy for your golf car. Let's go. That would be fun. That'd be something like you would probably keep that to give away, like a Guy Fieri car, because doesn't he drive that sexy red car when he does diners drive dives like because that ties into the horseshoe. It could be a promotion for guy horse like she give away a horse? Horse? A horse? Give it away a horse? What's wrong with the horse versus a golf cut? Come on, which would you more likely? Now you have to still keep the golf cut, But a horse is pretty cool? Come on? I mean, I guess we need Guy Fieri on a horse delivering the money during the main event.
