Stephen was nineteen, and it 20 00:02:02.799 --> 00:02:08.039 had been three days since they last saw him. He wasn't answering his cell 21 00:02:08.039 --> 00:02:16.199 phone and he'd never been gone that long without talking to them, Susanne and 22 00:02:16.879 --> 00:02:22.479 Michael, his parents. In many ways, he was your typical nineteen year old. But there are other things that made Stephen different. And as you know, oftentimes when people have are diagnosed with mental 77 00:07:40.120 --> 00:07:44.720 illness, compliance is a problem. Right, you have compliance with they're not 78 00:07:44.720 --> 00:07:48.680 taking their medication. Yeah, And so sometimes he wouldn't, and when he 79 00:07:48.759 --> 00:07:59.839 didn't, he could allegedly become violent. The police were called to Stephen's family's 80 00:07:59.879 --> 00:08:09.839 home sometimes when these episodes happened. Allegedly. Stephen and his dad were wrestling on the floor.
