On today's show, we're gonna hit on Scott sever winningsp Gold Bracelet number five. We have the Kangaroo Crew, huh coming through storming the Mystery Millions. David ProCheck wins the fifteen hundred dollars Badugie. We got Negron, You and Ivy still alive as of right now when I say it, they are still alive in the ten K Dealer's Choice. We'll talk about it, we'll hit on what's coming up, or sorry, we'll hit on the other events that kicked off, there were a couple of them, and then what's to come in the coming days, because we're now really getting into the thick of it right, kind of like a little bit of a slow build with the World Series of Poker this year, but now we're in. Now it's like, you know, this is when we got seven events, eight events running a day. Things are going all over the place, so we're in. We are off and running. I absolutely love it. His first bracelet was way back in the day, yep, two thousand and eight, five K, no limit, that's right, and he had I think the next one was the limit Hodhem Championship twenty eighteen. Next year he won they get there, Yeah, you know what. Cash games came calling. And then last year, wait, last year, two years ago he won one of our opening streams on twenty five hundred no limit hold on freezer. He did. He was on our twenty five K fantasy team that year and we got super pumped. We're like, oh my gosh, receiver coming out of the gate. And then he went back to playing cash games, cash games calling man. So his fifth WSP goal bracelet came in the ten thousand dollars Omaha High Low Championship Event one hundred and ninety seven entries there sever wins it for four hundred and twenty six thousand dollars. You caught up with Scott sever very good interview. Bank, Thank you talked a lot about it was good on both sides. Good questions from you, also good responses from Scott. It is something different today. Sometimes you get you get you ask questions and you don't just don't get answers. He's a very good. Yeah. Of course I like to go first, and you'll see it later in the In this episode who I talked to, I go first this one. I felt like you know, Poker News, Poker Dot Org, WPT, they're all here. They were very eager to get him, and he's great in talking to everyone. And then when I was done, he was sitting here on table B, the second table. I said, one last one. I'm sorry he goes anything for you. I go sit down though, because I'm gonna greell you. So we sat down. I was gonna come hard. You're gonna hear what I come with him for and get me good. You know what? Six seven minutes I think. So, yes, Scott, great person to talk to. Yeah, So here's that interview. With Scott sever Now, congratulations brace at number five. We've got to no limit hold them. We've got a raz we got a limit hold him. Omaha, Hi low, Scott Siver, Are you the best all round poker player in the world. I don't think I'm the best all around poker player in the world. I think there are five or six world class players that are at such a top level that it would be hard to tell who is the best of them. I fight and struggle to try and stay in that upper echelon, but I wouldn't call myself the best first price in two thousand and eight, twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen, twenty twenty two in this year, thinking back over those of these five wins, does any one of those stand out more than the other? Honestly, this one stands out the most indubitably to me the other ones. Of course, I'm always happy to win a bracelead. Why not. The one in two thousand and eight was very special, was my first, But all of the others were series where I was playing, say fifteen twenty events, I was playing cash twenty four to seven, and I would win a brace and it was great. But this year I came in with the goal in the mindset of I want to play a lot of tournaments. I want to win a lot of bracelets, and I want to see what it looks like if I really dedicate myself to this. So it feels that I've quote unquote earned this more, or at least I get to enjoy it more because I set out as a goal to win this bracelet and then I did. I definitely want to touch on that after in a secment. Third biggest score Chris score at the World Series of Pocket. Today you eclipped twenty six million in winnings, thirtieth on the Old Time Money List. Now I like to ask you, guys to play high stakes. What does the All Time Money List mean anything to you? Or should it mean anything to everyone else? It's a very complicated question. It used to mean a lot to me, maybe a decade ago or so, I think with the advent of the Super high Roller circuit, and maybe even a little before then, with the start of the first one drop here in World Series. To me, that's when the list lost its meaning. But I don't think that's a big deal. I don't think that's a problem. It's just the list is representing something different. It used to be that one through twenty maybe eighty percent of them had won the World Series of Poker Main event before. Yeah, and now I don't know if anyone that's one of the main event is in the top twenty. I have no idea. Maybe my guess would be help you with around like thirty or thirty five. Yeah, it's just completely different now. And don't get me wrong, it has a lot of meaning and it is very special for the people at the top, but it is a different group of people that I am not currently part of. So it's not something that motivates me anymore, but it definitely used to. Let's talk a little bit about the motivation. Day one of the World Series of Year interview jrn D and we talked about Player of the Year and the changes and you know, if you rule out D rule out in the grando who was his pick to win? And he your name trade away Scott Siva And he did acknowledge you blew up, He's gonna blow up your spot a bit that you had some big bets against an unknown and go, you're gonna tell me and he goes, okay, he telled me the name Michael munchik, you have some I mean Fantasy player of the Year bets. We now you talked about drive, You've talked about wanting to come and win braces. Was that because of the bit or was you trying to Okay, I want to win some braces, let me try and make some bets out of this. It was the latter. I wanted to win bracelets, and then as a way to keep myself motivated, I thought trying to bet on it would help in a way. It was another reason why I wanted to get drafted in the twenty five K Fantasy team. I like AJ a lot who drafted me in it, and it feels nice to be part of something where I can win a bracelet and it helps him and his victory. He was on my rail for this. And there's just something about tournament poker that provides camaraderie in a way that is very lonely and isolating in a cash game world. Yeah. So I mostly wanted a reason internally to play these tournaments, and then betting was just a way to get me to do it. You said, you know, you felt like you kind of in a way won that the AJ right, you know, game I want to take ownership that you know you're the most drafted player in ODB CHWO hundred and fifty four teams. That's thirty three percent. I believe I had a couple of poker players that play you'r the events with you, Dustin Dirks and Being once said, I heard the interview with Sean I put in my I put Cee on all my ODBT. So how does that feel that you know you have AJ in your corner, but you also have thirty three percent of the people playing ODB saying yes, Seve is my man. Oh, it's very validating. Again, it's part of why I wanted this tournament. Poker in general, and the fantasy things helped so much with it, but in general, this is one of the only things that help people cheer for other people with reason and with cause. And I've always liked the idea of being part of a group and we're all in this together, and that my victory has people that are happy that it happens, as opposed to all of us just finding our individual runs and our individual wins. So I love it, Honestly, it means the world to me. Fifth WSP Bracer you joined John Manette you, Joe and Benny who was at the final table year one point, Daniel Lahi probably played a lot of cash with and Adam Freedman, a lot of other people great players. We talk about WSP, We always talk about the Hall of Fame. Now, is this something that's a goal over also? You thinking, you know, in a few years, I want to be in the Hall of Fame, I need to win X number of races. The true blunt way of saying it, which is not normally how I would speak in these things, but is how I feel, is that I think it would be absurd if I'm not Hall of Fame immediately next year, in my first year. That is definitely a reason why I came here this summer to want to play more tournaments to show that. But I feel from my career, starting when I was twenty one, I've excelled at basically every form of poker. There's a there's been and changed with the time. Is based on what I've been able to play and really been at the top of everything I've done, and just wanted to show that this is still happening in twenty twenty four. You mentioned you play a lot of cash. You know when it comes to the pogo you occasionally play some of advance. You know, you're playing leather catch games. Do you think that you know, with a goal to be in Hall of Fame, that you know, even outside of the World Series, you kind of want to travel, play more stops, play more tournaments, and get that more public recognition. I honestly don't know. It's definitely why I was here for the World Series. I'm going to wait and see how I feel from the drive of the summer to see what I want to do afterwards. I think probably I will want to travel more and play more tournaments, but honestly, I don't know, and it's something I'm going to let future Scott figure out. You did mention on the stream yesterday when we were doing commentary about you know, if plesnik one you want a good chunk of change from Phil, and I think Phil had you or something like that. My final question is how much did this bracelet? How much did you win on the side from this bracelet? Honestly I don't know, But what I want is like the emotional victory of really wanting to get something and then doing it. Honestly, I haven't really felt like this from winning a bracelet before, and it has nothing to do with the money, so whatever. It is just the fact that I was like, this is my goal and then did it. That's worth more than what the money would be for me right now. So I got to call bs on one thing. There's no way he doesn't know how much for he didn't want to give it he I thought. I thought for sure when you asked him that question, he was gonna like dance around the answer. But I didn't think he would just say I don't know. I thought he'd be like, I just don't care to share it, like, which is fine, you know, but he was maybe that is his wife. Oh yeah, that's that's kind of what I got out of it. But I didn't think it would sound like I don't know. No. But really good answers there from Scott sever I'm kind of scared now as a twenty five K fantasy owner because I mean, you know, he sounds like he's about to win six bracelets. I mean like, hello, here come Scott. He's ready to go. So a bit worried about what he's going to be doing this summer. Had we known the the motivation, the bets, all that sort of stuff with Sever. The question coming into the summer in terms of drafting Scott Sever for fantasy is always like how much volume is he gonna put in? There's massive, massive cash games that he plays in. Here. You know, there's a huge cash game running all the time. Patrick Antonius is playing in it all the time. He's always putting it on Instagram, heading down to the Vegas Strip and playing three K six game mixed games. You know that sort of thing, which is what Scott's in all the time. Right But now it seems like Scott is gung ho, full steam ahead to win bracelets. So I don't know. I think he's gonna have a really really good summer, which again as a fantasy owner is a bit scary, but it's great for the poker content. It's great for Scott sever all that sort of stuff. Scott Sever defeated Jonathan Cohen in heads up play, Calvin Anderson took third, and then Paul Zapula got fourth in the ten thousand dollars Omaha High Low Championship event. Sever is now thirtieth on the all time money list. You heard Tim and him talk about that on the interview. He's got more than twenty six million dollars in earnings. He's owned by thirty four percent of teams in ODB Fantasy. Crazy, I mean, do people not know how to play fantasy? You don't want high ownership. Look, they listen to the interview with me and Dave Deep says, I'm all in on Scott Seva. Thirty four percent of people playing ODB Fantasy listen to the Poke podcast. It's very obvious. So I can be blamed on that thirty four percent ownership stake. I mean, that's that's that's the only way we can hear, the only way we can explain this. ODB Fantasy players a podcast listen as well. Thirty four percent of them out anyway. That's he's he's the most so much, he's the highest owned player on ODV Fantasy. It's it's thirty three point nine to one percent. He's he's the largest by a mile, Like, what are we talking about? Fifteen percent? The next closest is Patrick Leonard ak Pad's twenty five point six percent, a huge gap, and then that next big what's the next and then after that it's Calvin Anderson It's seventeen point eight percent. So it's like that's kind of a pretty and then you get like, you know, fifteen fifteen twelve, like you know, it gets more bunched up. So so yeah, that's price. It's it's also interesting that Negron one point seven four percent. Yeah, he's not good. I mean, it's because we jacked up the price so high. I think people stayed away. But that's kind of crazy. They just don't want the best player in the world. They don't want in the world. Yeah, would you say, who's the what what's Ceves price? In uh in fantasy? He was thirty seven dollars? Okay, steal absolute Now, well it's a steal if you have the information that we did not have. Obviously Sean Dee had it. So yeah, there's but Shawn Dey didn't get him. I don't I don't know who's on whose team. He's on the A. J. Castle's so watching Sean said that he's all in on Scott's Eever, why didn't Sean go get Scott sever I mean if Sean, if Sean, if Sean says he's all in on Scott sever having the information that he has, Okay, this isn't I I'm trying what I'm trying to get is maybe there's a chance that Sean deep said it thinking that he'll put him in all his ODB teams, like finding out after the fact he didn't he didn't know what the twenty five k fancy draft. Maybe there's a slight thing. I don't know, that's not the reason, but hold on, I'm gonna say that if he's all in on him, Scott Severer is a ninety dollars player. Yeah, so why aren't you getting him? The thing with Sean Dave is that here we go, here we go, this nonsense. He's all back and no buye. He's all talk. Doesn't put his money where his mouth is. It's that simple. So talks up a big game, just can't deliver. Yeah. I mean listen, if I had the knowledge of what Scott Severer was gonna do, I would have been going to get Scott Zebra. We have the Mystery Millions event concluded today. Yesterday Tim and I talked about it. The big story was the two one million dollar bounty pools that came out of the Mystery Millions. Today you had another million dollar winner from this tournament, which is crazy because this tournament has a thousand dollars buying, thousand dollars buying three players one a million dollars. I would be curious, maybe maybe I'll do this, just what the payoffs would be like if you if you kept all the prize pool like a normal tournament, Like I'd be curious what the paper I mean, eighteen thousand people a million dollar buying what like the WPT Prime Championship thousand dollars buying, had more than ten thousand little more than ten thousand runners. It was like one point three million for first. This is almost double the field. It'd be like, you know, it would be like what two million for first, one point nine for first. It's like something probably get to like two point two or something. We can put in the Actually we can't. We can't put in the calculator. Put it. I like it. I like it. Put in the calculator. I'm curious. I'm curious where this comes out. I just want to see just it just kind of gives me a better feel of just how big this tournament is. I mean, the tournament is massive. Yes, eighteen thousand, four hundred nine injuries. We've mentioned it several times. Tournament the players one more time. The tournament is the hold on the tournament is the sixth largest all time. Now give you the what give me the players again? ENTRIESEA eighteen thousand, four hundred and nine say, if this works one thousand dollars, fine, did break it? Yes, I've broke it. Entries must between two and ten thousand players. You can't go over ten thousand. We got ten thousand and forty three last year. That's a well not this year, okay, So the calculator be broken. They have multiple tournaments at the series that are over ten thousand entries. They have Mystery Millions Bounty Day one eight to one date, and they have another event that's titled Day two two to day three. If you're putt in eighteen thousand on that, it spits out the payouts and it does give the million dollars. So like it excludes, it doesn't do it real right, excludes the ones that are already cashed. Does that make sense? Yeah? Whatever, it's not. Yeah, it's not. We're trying to find a percentage, right, We're just trying to find fourteen percent times priced. I'm just trying to see if I'm just just trying to see what it would have come out to me anyway, we're way off track. Yes, let's get back to your boy, your mate Kangaroo Crew Kangou Malcolm Trainer winning the Mystery Millions Tournament for one million dollars if you can believe it. His first WSP was his first WSP event ever. That's what the bio said, And I asked him in the interview. I know you asked him in the interview, but I just forgot quickly if he it was for this year or for in general. For in general. You just come in, you beat a field of eighteen four hundred and nine, you rip off a million dollar first place place. How many bounty did he get? Well, he had nine heading into the final table. Okay, he had a bunch of knockouts obviously, but all the ones at the final title were all one. Care didn't get like any twenty five dollars right here? He won one k ones? Wow, Well whatever, he still won a million dollars, So who really cares? I mean, he should just retire from the dovas because this is the best record, This is the best record in the history of that. Head back down on taking million dollars, which will really be like you know, the thirty Australian dobas ap bracelet like that one. I would have thought it was more to be honest, Nah, weren't that good? Sixty? But okay, who has the most come on? Who he's been is hanging up in the other room, Buddy Joe, Jeffrey Lessandra. But I thought, weren't you telling us the other day that he's not really Australian. It depends if I'm in the mood. That's exactly why I'm like, what are you talking about? If it's not jeff it would be Robert Campbell. Two is to gonna be it? Who the heck else from Australia would have one more than two? Give me a sec. Michael Adama, Michael Boom he is three. I think he's four? Four? Okay, where is where is a Dama? Michael O'damo's he's he's cooked, four time WSP Bracist winner. You know, I within two years ago. Michael Odamo feels like it feels like he because we used to go to the Aussie Millions all the time and like you'd be like, that's Michael o'damo, you know, online kid whatever, But he was like he was just like an up and comer then like he was nothing, you know, he was playing like all the stuff at the Aussie millions, like all the one k's this and that and everything, like he wasn't like this big super high role of player. I feel like and I have no idea about any of what I'm about to say, but this is my guest. This is a hot take. No, it's not a hot take at all. It's just my guess of how Michael o'damo became Michael Damos. He obviously got into poker, had success. I would guess that he grinded online for a bit, had some success, and then he he said to himself, listen, I'm going to star for a year, maybe two years, like NonStop. He probably put in more work than anyone. And he then he's like, I'm just gonna go, I'm gonna give it my all for essentially a year, which is what he did, try and win everything under the sun. And he did, and now he's done like that, that's like kind of the plan, like I'm gonna go, I'm gonna give it my all. If I win, you know, ten million dollars, I'm out. Since winning, he's lost Super Raceless in twenty twenty one, and prior to that he also won Pokemos's event and the Super High Rollerball. He's basically been grinding Europe, grinding try AND's got one WSP cash online. But otherwise, yeah, he's still he's still done pretty well this year. He's got three cashes. At the recent try and stop he won looks like nearly five five hundred and twenty five thousand dollars. Yeah, that probably covers the viyns. He probably still lost a million. The trends are see, he looks it looks like he's kind of taking a step back from the the live realm. The thing is is that when you when you win that much money in poker like him, you don't necessarily need to keep playing like the super high buy and stuff that requires you to put in a lot of work in order to compete in those fields, right, Yeah, like you could just have f off and go play like random five k's and ten k's just for the love of the game. Basically, like just you have all this money in the bank, what does it matter at this point? So so, but but maybe you just don't. You've put so much into the game that you you don't have like that same love for it. I mean, I don't know. I'm just I'm totally just guessing at a lot of stuff, grasping at straws here. But whatever, we're way off track once again, back to the main Australian headliner. Who is Malcolm Trainer? Did you know Malcolm? Like you never heard of him? Okay, I don't know. I feel like you guys all just know each other. It's a small community down then. I'm telling you, man, the Ausies, the Kangaroo crew are taking the world by storm. Did he have a big rail like again, like sixty seven guys on the rail so compared to the Kangaroo crew that were here, not that you know, it could have been more, but you know, there's a lot of events on today, so people were deep in events playing, so I can understand the smaller crew than what we may have expected. So Malcolm Trainor won a million dollars for winning the twenty twenty four WSP Mystery Millions. All nine bounties were one thousand dollars bounties heading into the final table for Trainer. Yeah, so unfortunately, you know, he didn't get any big bounty polls. But can't really you know, hate too much, because he'd ended up winning that million dollar first place prize. He defeated Carson Richards in heads up play. I mean, what are these payouts? They're great? What are you talking about? They're great? First place one million dollars, second place five hundred and thirty six thousand dollars, third place, which went to Eugene Tito four hundred and seven thousand dollars. Huh what why are we doing this? This is this scene. This makes me. This is why you shouldn't have two million dollars pulls. Yeah, because this stuff happens. Yeah, it does, and then it's just like silly fourth Juonho song three hundred and twelve thousand dollars. Ausre Asran, I'm probably butchering all these names. I'm sorry. Two hundred and forty thousand dollars for fifth place, Amir Mira Suli one hundred and eighty six thousand dollars for sixth place, Michael Miller I can get that one correct, seventh place for one hundred and forty four thousand dollars, Christopher Castellan one hundred and thirteen thousand dollars for eighth place, and Jake Brown just under ninety thousand dollars for ninth place. You spoke with your countryman, the current captain of the Kangaroo Crew, until someone else comes in and wins a bracelet or wins tour, does something. Malcolm Trainer is the captain of the Kangaroo Crew. You spoke with him after So here is that interview now, Malcolm. Congratulations, first WSP brace and I believe first WSP event ever. Yeah, I'm one for one. I'm assuming you just came in from Australia recently, obviously you can tell I'm Australian. What's it feel like to be actually here in Las Vegas, you know, partaking your first WSP. I mean it's amazing, Like it doesn't compare to the fields in Australia, Like it's so massive, the ballrooms are huge. I mean I'm playing in the stadium merely, and I have all my friends watching me in the stands. It's just a totally different experience. And you know, I've had a blast. Let's talk about your friends here on the rail watching it. What did that feel like to win in front of these friends with all that support. Oh, I just it's hard to describe, really, It just a moment of relief came when the king, when I secured the win, and all the friends just jumping into the rail with them celebrating with me. It's just a very special feeling. I've never never really felt that before at this level. There's been thirty five Bracelet winners from Australia. You are now one of them. You joined you know, Joehash and Marc Class, all these big names. Growing up. I'm assuming you looked up for these guys. Now you're one of the brace and winners. What's that like? It still really hasn't sunk in yet. Yeah, you know, it's something I dreamed of it since I was eighteen, you know, and it finally came true. All right. That was Malcolm Trainer crazy to think first WSP event and this is what it is. You know. It's like it's like one thing. It's like, you know, you win like a one of the fifteen hundred dollars Nolan at Holmes. No, you won the Mystery Millions for a million dollars. I mean, good lord, what a way to just you know, be like I'm here, like, let's go so we'll see if this big win. The seven figure score, you know, kind of catapults Malcolm Trainer into into having more success. Oftentimes at the Wheel Series of Poker. You see people have big success earlier than they go on to do some more things. It doesn't always have to be, you know, going on to win a bracelet, but making some deep runs, final tables, deep run on the main event, that sort of stuff. So we'll point that out if it happens in regards to Malcolm Trainer. Moving on to the fifteen hundred dollars Badugie events, another gold bracelet winner from today. Three gold bracelet winners today? Can you believe it? We had none yesterday and three today. David ProCheck won the fifteen hundred dollars Badougie Tournament for one hundred and twenty nine thousand, six hundred and seventy six dollars, his second World Series of Poker World bracelet. He defeated Matt and Grapentine in heads up play, Grape and Theine taking home more than eighty four thousand dollars in Prizeman. I think Grape and Theine was going for his second as well. I think you want to stud bracelet. I believe Third Edward m fifty six thousand dollars Tobias Lectness at thirty eight thousand dollars for fourth place, So good for David ProCheck. Second WSP gold bracelet. He won a PGT event. Was it this season or last season? I can't remember this season. This season at the mixed Game series, yes, he won a five K something or other five K ten game, five K ten game yep. So he has a ton of success coming out of Florida. You know, he's always down at those Seminole series. I feel like he wins a Seminole trophy every single time they have a series, if not more than one. So good for David ProCheck to rip off this fifteen hundred dollars madoogie win. I think these madogie tournaments are super popular, you know, slight dipping numbers from one year to the next. I think it was five to sixteen last year, four eighty seven this year. But you know that's that's pretty much the same year over year, so not really a big deal there at all. The ten thousand dollars Dealer's Choice is in the money. They had one hundred and forty one entries in uptick from the last year one hundred and thirty last year. One hundred and forty one this year. They were on the bubble for a little while today, but they did end up breaking into the money. It looks like George Alexander is up on top of the leader board, Robert Msrocky is in there, Daniel mcgrowne, who's out there, John Mannette, phil Ivy Bakes aka David Baker or the artist formerly known as David Baker. I guess we should call him that Bakes and Lamb is out there. Jerry Wong, Nick Schulman. I saw dustin Dirkson, so huge, huge, stacked field in that one over three hundred and thirty three thousand dollars for first place. This tournament is scheduled to end tomorrow on Wednesday, June fifth. Can't wait to see how this one plays out. Some you know, fantasy sweats. We obviously got into gran You out there doing the thing, making the run. He's started off pretty well to the twenty twenty four World Series of Poker, and we'll see if he can get himself down to that final table an inch closer to finally getting a seventh Wsop Gold bracelets. Of course, phil Ivy would be going for number eleven. Can you imagine that, let's go, let's go, Ivy, put some pressure on old Philly helm youth, make it happen. What he's got another chance? Stop he's got, he's got a chance. I mean this, this field is absolutely sick. The plan with this one is that once they reached the final table, the six handed final table, it will be live streaming on poker Go, tentatively scheduled five pm. You know, obviously that could be flexible if things go one way or the other, but looking like a five pm Pacific time start for that live stream, that would be eight pm on the East coast. Six max format is always fun. Shorthanded play short land hand nolanan hold them big back game, gotta play more aggressive, so should be a fun one. Of course, a ton of money up top for the winner. They've all locked up more than twenty k, one than twenty two k or whatever it is for the payout right now for reaching the final seventeen, Joseph Brum put chack go sure, yep, I hope I got. All right, now, we gotta get to the headlining topic. Donnie Cash is the one K turbo bouncy. Let's go. I was trying to think of a jug real quick and I couldn't come up with anything. Something that's interesting about this event Last year, this was event number sixty eight on the schedule, much much later on in the World Series of Poker. Was it last year that I played the tournament and sat with neymar Or was that the year before before? One of these years before last year who was injured. That's when he had his knee. I think, so he didn't come. Yeah, yeah, Okay, anyway, this year the event was event number fourteen, so much further up the schedule. I'm always interested in, like when how they shift when the event is because in a way, like shouldn't you kind of keep the same schedule like in general? I think? And yeah, I mean it's just interesting speaking of holes to fill, I mean, they should have one k turbo bounties every fucking day. As far as I'm concerned, these tournaments are incredible. Talk to a lot of players out there. Everyone seems to love it. You get in there, it's a big field, it moves quickly, it's a turbo. So let's compare this tournament to let's say the eight hundred dollars Deep Sack. Okay, which is there. There's an eight hundred our deep Sack tomorrow coincidentally, two day tournament in the eight deep Stack. But the way that the eight hundreds deep Sack is branded, and this isn't just a wasop thing, this is everywhere, Like you brand things deep stack and they don't I mean, they start deep, but then they get to be a crap shoot pretty quickly, right, But if you just call it a turbo, no one cares exactly, Like when you call it a deep stack, then the people are like, well, you're not even really deep when you get to level twelve and this, and you know, they all complain. If you just call it a turbo, everyone's out there in this turbo knowing like we all got eight big blindes, like who cares get the money in, let's go. You know, this is what it is. You had the bounty element. It's fun slight dipping entries this year versus last year. Maybe that's a timing thing, who the heck knows, But still six hundred and thirty nine entries in this one, the top three hundred and ninety six cashed. I don't even I don't even remember when we hit the money before dinner. I mean it flew today, absolutely flew. I finished seventy fifth, took home twenty six hundred ninety two dollars in prize money. I got three bounties for three hundred dollars each, so nine hundred dollars total. My total cash was three five hundred and ninety two. I really thought I was gonna like make the found table. I was just like, I'm like, the only way I can lose this is if I fuck it up, and then I fucked it up. So you know, that's just how it goes. What are you gonna do? My question to you, mister tournament guru guy, is there some sort of way when you have these normal bounty tournaments. So so this tournament thousand dollars buying freeze out seven hundred dollars goes to the prize pill three hundred dollars is a bounty, and every bounty is three hundred dollars. But like at some point you get to a point in the tournament where it's like the bounty is like useless. The value of the bounty, the bounty is just it's so small compared to like the prize money and the prize jym. So like a couple of things were popping in my mind, Like obviously early on, like it's great to like in the first like four levels if you get like three or four bounties and you're just like, I'm free roll, let's go. This is great, you know, but then you get down to like like I get down to the last seventy five and I'm like, well, I mean, the bounty isn't necessarily gonna make me call or fold like it once did, right, I mean, it's just now I'm like, you're trying to like play to win the tournament. You're trying to win the two hundred thousand dollars first place biz or whatever it was, Like, you know, that's like more of your focus laddering up blah blah blah. So one thought I had is that, like, do you is there a point when you just like stop having the bounties, Like you can do bounties early and then you stop having them. I don't know how that would work. The other thought is like, is there a way that like you could have like early on the bounties are three hundred dollars and then they go up to like one thousand dollars. That's the easiest way, Yeah, but you could you could probably figure that out. You Athlize could post dinner or whatever. You know, you would make it a set point in the tournament. Obviously something like the three table retel is the easiest one, but you could make it something you know, like the top seven, the final seventy two kind of thing, and you would exchange your boundy. Your kind of bounty chip would just say blue. I believe the chips are blue, right, Yeah, we like like blue with a red boundy chip and they I think they said on them three hundred dollars bounty. Yeah. So because there are different boundy chips here at the World Series and different value because there's different there's different price bounty teraments. There's this one k, there's a fifteen hundred, and then there's a ten k. Yeah, so you would basically do a switcher three hundred for the thousand, make sure it's a different color. Pretty pretty easy to do it. It would. It would make things a little bit more meaningful than the bounty portion. Now, the mystery bounties are totally different thing for the mystery Bounty tournament. Of course, PKOs are super super popular. It's just I mean, I don't you can't run it at the WSP. It's just there's too many people. Like, could you imagine running a PKO. It would be so awesome, it would be awesome, but it's like impossible to run. It's just not possible. Huh No. They would need triple the staff, Okay, And I'm just saying it's maybe they can't find triple to staff. Listen, it would be awesome. Yes, a PKO at the World Series Booker would be freaking incredible, right, But it's p k are just they're very labor intended to feel like different you have to do. Yeah, that is that is I mean kind of what I'm getting at with my thoughts here is like some sort of hack job at a PKO in a way where you're like increasing the bounties as you go, you know, type of thing, just so they're more meaningful because you get to the end and it's like, am I gonna worry about this seven K pay Jumperor? Am I gonna worry about this three or all or bounty that I'm trying to get? You know? So that was just kind of my thought on there. But overall I love the tournament. It's just they're just fun, you know, and for like someone like me, who I might play some dailies around town. And I've talked about this before and I've talked about it with you. You know, a tournament like this twenty thousand chip starting stack, you know, the blind start one one hundred, they go up every twenty minutes. I mean, that's like a daily around here. So it's you know, yes, now it's like with thousands of people and it's more prize money and all that sort of stuff in a WSP bracelet, but it's still something that like I'm very comfortable in m H you know, whereas like a lot of people they play and it's just like there's like, oh, like freaking out kind of thing, but like it's nothing more than a daily. It's really like the structure, I mean, you know so, but they're fun. They should run more of these, Like there're certainly spots when I think people would just love to blast into them. And there was a lot of big names. Johnny World was over there. He was Johnny World is so all in now that he won that bracelet, his seventh, his speak old brace that when he won the fifteen hundred dollars Dealer's Choice a couple of days ago. He's so all in. He was grinding the crap out of this thing, this one K turbo. Okay, like he could have went and got in. I mean maybe he did get in the Dealer's Choice. I don't know, maybe he busted already, who knows, But like he could have went and gotten the five K that started today. But no, he's in the one K super Turbo Bounty doing push ups between hands like he's freaking Rambo over there. Yeah, I mean you got you gotta love it. Josh Aria was going deep Ryan all right now to the deep. So you know, some big names were certainly over there making or run at things I busted out. I called off with with deuces for fourteen big a button shove for fourteen, big lines I had like twenty six, twenty seven I called big blind with deuces lost to Queen three suited. So there was that, and then I doubled up, essentially doubling up. I took out Matt Bond, Ace King for him, aces for me, PGT play yeah, PGT. But I mean we talked a lot about it. Yeah, and then I decided to three bed jam how many bigs eighteen I think into a cutoff open from the chip leader at my table and he just had Ace King. And then that was that. I get into the little payout line and I'm standing there like you go through all the stuff whatever, and then I'm in the payout line and I'm waiting. It's it's pretty long. It's like twenty people in it. Whatever, but it's moving along. I got my head buried on my phone, just you know, texting people telling him what happened, blah blah blah. And this guy like kind of like sticks his head like in like below my me, my face looking down so I could see him, and he's like, hey, you know you you uh you put a really disgusting bad beat on me in the main event last year. And I'm like, okay, huh. And then I'm like, oh, I recognize this guy. I think I had King seven the diamonds, and he fought and he flopped a set from the big blind I opened. I think this was day three I opened. He called big blind. It came Ace three something with two diamonds, like check that call. I don't remember the hand exactly. I could look it up. I haven't written down somewhere, but yeah. And then but I remember I made I made the flush. I backed into a flush. There was only one Dowmon on the flop, sorry, And I backed into a flush. And I didn't put him all in on the river because I could have, like it wouldn't have been like an egregious overbet or anything if I didn't put him all in on the river. But I thought, given the fact that it was the WSP main event, people value their tournament life so much that this guy might like find some sort of crazy hero fold and like I wanted calls from two pairs, I wanted calls from from an ace like whatever he did call me, he had a set went down in flames. He didn't like he like needled me, but he didn't needle me. You know. He's like, he's like, but I you know, but I I grinded it so hard and I went on to cash and I was like, well, yeah, buddy, I didn't cash, so thanks, like you know, you were there at the table and I got f So I mean, I don't know if that was supposed to be a needle, but you should just learn how to play your sets better and then we wouldn't be having this conversation. So yeah, I'm standing there on the line and like this is happening, this guy telling me this story. So that was fun, like a little bit of an extra needle after I just busted out of this tournament. I saw someone on Twitter like respond to them and say, like the structure. She says ten levels on day one, but then it says late registration for eleven levels. Yeah, because it also says in parentheses registration on day two. Yep, So that's why. So that's why there is a registration through level eleven or something. So they had more than six hundred entries over there. There is one re entry in this tournament. I would I would imagine there's gonna be a bunch of late entries in that one. You know, probably a ton of people firing like the one K Terrible Doug All, I can just late register whatever. There's some other stuff going on around town whatnot, So you know, I would expect that one to tick up quite a bit. Didn't walk over that. I do know that Jeff Platt was playing. I don't know what happened with him. I also know that Jeff Platt's bestie friend of the pod Ben Ludlow, was also over their plane. I'm just like, what if I something happens, like and I missed my alarm and I'm a half hour late and my chips aren't playing, I'm getting blinded out. So I didn't want to do that. That was would be my thought, how does anyone get anywhere? Because you would just write all these hands and it'd always be a chop pot, like how does any how does this move on? How does this happen? So I got up at like six fifteen in the morning, didn't go to bed until two thirty. I should not have played this today, but I crushed, So who the fuck cares? Maybe I should just play on four. I was asleep all the time, and I dropped my kids off at school. Then I went to their house, got the dogs, went to the vet, dropped them off the vet, and then I went back home to like get my stuff. Everything's like in the same area and they use the vet that's like right by our house. So then I go back home and I'm like, okay, should I It was I remember it was like nine to fifteen when I got home, and I was like, okay, should I try and do a quick workout, like a quick like fifteen twenty minutes, maybe the peloton, maybe a quick you know waits whatever, No, I you know what, I'm going to try and play.
